The Old Bank in Kettering

4 of us went and were pleased to find very good Covid safety in all aspects. The friendly, efficient service was only matched by the excellent quality of the food. Sad that they no longer have bottles Turkish beer, but at least it's not been replaced by some bland keg English beer, but by Peroni. As you'd expect here it was served at exactly the right temperature and in Peroni glasses.If you have not tried this place you are missing a treat.

Recommended by friends so finally got round to going. It's was delightful. Super quick, friendly service. We had the lamb meatballs, lamb shish and falafel. Cannot fault a thing, absolutely delicious meal.

Excellent meal again at the Old Bank, have eaten here on may occasions, and the food was delicious as always!

Booked a table for 7.30 as had my daughter with me so didn't think it would be too late considering the turn around. The wait was so slow, no one came to check on us offer us more drinks or anything. We finally got our starters 45 minutes after sitting down and then asked for more drinks they came and one accidentally smashed off the tray onto my daughter leaving glass in front of her and luckily only ice hitting her head.Mains finally came at 9 with one meal missing with waitress saying it will be a few minutes thats ok isn't it. Well no but it will have to be. 10 minutes later I had to chase this meal to be told it had been dropped and a new one was being cooked. Not ideal and wish we'd been told when the rest arrived as we was waiting to start. Food was delicious but the service was not great. Thankfully it was on the 50% scheme as wouldn't of paid full price for that experience.

We visited in August during Eat Out To Help Out and despite being busy it was yet another incredible meal and we felt perfectly safe! We have visited on a few special occasions and the food is incredible! So flavoursome and a fantastic quality! Lovely Turkish beer! We tucked into 6 wonderful Tapas/Meze starters and shared a mixed grill. Would highly recommended the Tapas/Meze!Will return again & again!

4 of us went for a meal on a Tuesday and had a great meal. We had 3 mezes for each couple for starters and mixed grills for mains. The calamari was very good also the humous. Their bread is a cross between a nan and pitta and is lovely. The meats in the mixed grill were well cooked and flavoured. The men wanted a dessert and had the ginger sponge pudding which was divine and was a big enough portion for us ladies to share it!! The lady who served us was fantastic. It was very busy but she worked her socks of and is a credit to the restaurant. Highly recommend the food and service, well done The Old Bank.

My wife and friends went here for a quick meal....for the main I chose a Chicken Shish it came on a sizzler only about 6 bits of chicken, two small bits of onion and one piece of pepper very poor portion sizes and over priced drinks. Disappointed will not be returning.

Promptly welcomed and seated. Served efficiently and quickly. The food was delicious (especially the Lamb and Chicken Yoghurt) and the atmosphere was good too. The staff are very attentive and we were eating out as part of the 'Eat Out to Help Out' scheme but the bill was very reasonable anyway. What also really stood out was the lady who is clearly in charge - she is so good at her job and so obviously on top of everything that it is very reassuring. We will be back again very soon.

Visted on a Monday evening. The Old Bank was fully booked thanks to 'eat to help out' scheme. When we first called our booking was not accepted because the restaurant was fully booked, but thankfully they called us back later when a table became available. Some inconsiderate muppet having not turned up and we were grateful they hadn't. We were greeted warmly by the staff and shown to a Covid safe table in the restaurant. All patrons were socially distanced, and there was a busy atmosphere in the place.Service was prompt we ordered from the mezes menu, normally 3 for £12 but even better value with the scheme. We each ordered three dishes and a salad which was plenty of food for two. All dishes arrived together accompanied by pitta bread (there was far too much bread for two people). Will go back again if in the area.

The Old Bank has always been good, but has coped especially well with the new restrictions. There is a new menu, perhaps less choice but sensibly chosen. Service was brisk, efficient and friendly. Rothwell is very lucky in its great choice of restaurants and the Old Bank is among the best.

Great tasting food, service was reasonably good, a little slow but it was busy. Got charged for an extra drink on the bill, so they changed it, then after we had paid we realised they had charged us £3 for a still water when we only had a jug of tap water on the table, most places do this for free! Anyway, would recommend the food definitely, had some mezzes to start and then a mixed grill and a chicken shish. Was disappointed to see some of the dishes on their website weren’t on the menu, not sure if this was because of COVID or because it was eat out to help out night.

We went as a group of 4 adults as part of govt eat out scheme. The whole evening was absolutely amazing! Staff were all so friendly and helpful - the manager on duty couldn’t do enough to help and obviously ran a very good shift! The food was delightful, from the mezze’s to the homemade baklava dessert (with a cheeky extra one as we were sharing!). Cannot recommend highly enough.

Visited on weds during the govt scheme.Party of four we were seated in the middle floor which I found a little basic it could easily have been mistaken for a room in a McDonald’s, the first and top floor I found better decorated and more restaurant like ! More atmosphere.The most important thing though .. the food from starter to pudding was excellent quality very tasty and plenty of it served on piping hot cast sizzling plates.The staff were very attentive and worked their socks off on what was a warm evening.Value for money was excellent under the govt scheme although I would have felt it a little pricey had we paid full price.In all a good night out and will definitely return.

We popped in for lunch on a Saturday. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were offered a choice of a lunch special menu and their standard menu. All the food was excellent, well cooked, tasty and fresh. If we lived nearby we would go regularly. There is not a vast range of beers but the ones we had were nice, a Peroni and the Efes is not commonly seen but was very good. The place was clean and a really nice conversion of the old Midland bank.

Came here on saturday 25th july with my mum,sister and brother in law. It was absolutely beautiful. The food is to die for and the service was also excellent. Would definitely recommend and will return for meals and take out. I live in corby but would travel out there to get a takeaway as the food is fresh and beautifully cooked. Thankyou so much for a lovely evening.

With lockdown we have missed not eating here so when details of the new take away service was advertised we had to try it last night.First class in all respects, service, choice, food and safety.Do try the new dish with vegetables and an egg.Great to see the business back trading and the restaurant is now open too, with safe limited tables.Excellent.Dave Fisher

We are regulars at this restaurant and have been waiting for the Covid-19 to allow them to reopen We were so pleased that we could visit last night (8/7/20) and we can not say enough about the welcome and the food The staff have fully followed the new rules and we had a fabulous meal and honestly we did not mind the slightest of price increase eitherGlad to be back keep up the great work

Starters are excellent, mains are wonderful. Piping hot nicely presented couldn't fault. My reason for not giving full rating is due to lack of desserts. Cheesecake is advertised in their menu on web page but no cheesecake was available when we visited. Choice of 3 desserts or ice cream very disappointing.

Rang and Made a reservation for a Saturday evening left a name but no contact number when we arrived we was told that the table hadn’t been booked they did however manage to fit us in the staff were very polite restaurant clean and nicely decorated we ordered 2 Mezes and 1 main with bread and shared as we are not big eaters and the food was absolutely lovely this will definitely not be our last visit and we will fully recommend eating here

Best Turkish I've been to ever. Fantastic food will definitely be going back. Drinks were a little pricey but amazing food made up for that. We shared starters and meals so sampled a few of the dishes on offer. All extremely tasty and good portion sizes

We went for an excellent lunch before Christmas and tonight took friends for a birthday celebration. On both occasions we had a different waitress/ waiter. Both were excellent with the right balance of service, friendliness, efficiency and humour.The range of fresh cooked food is amazing and the quality superb.As for the Turkish bottled beer, spot on.We shall be returning.Well worth a try, if you have not been before and like something a little different of quality

What should have been a nice birthday meal for my husband was spoilt by the couldn't care less attitude of one waitress.We specifically asked for 1 dish to come out as a starter to share with the rest to follow.It all came out at once,when we pointed this out the waitress just shrugged her shoulders and flounced off.An order was taken for drinks when we sat down and that was it,no offer of more drinks throughout the meal.The food itself was delicious but the service was dire .The restaurant was not particularly busy so there was no excuse .The waitress that took our payment was apologetic but it came too late Needless to say we did not leave a tip.

Food was tasty and service was brilliant. The only thing was the skewers with kebabs were metal and very hot, and fingers got burnt. No warning given by waiting on staff.

We walked here the other night, to try the Turkish cuisine. It was delicious, we tried your appetisers and had a halloumi kebab for our main meal. The food is absolutely amazing, would recommend. The service was good, although had to ask several times for additional drinks, even though the server had been over to the table several times whilst our glasses were empty. We were the only table eating in the restaurant during the night as it was a little late. Other than that, it was superb, will definitely be back!

We have visited this Restaurant a number of times this year’s and always found the service and food good.My wife of 19-years is Russian so loves the Turkish food and Restaurants, the staff are always pleasant and polite, something she valuesThe only down thing is there is no where to park, you have to park in the main centre car park and at weekends its sometime difficult to find a spaceThank you to all the staff and I would have no hesitation in recommending this pub and Restaurant

We've been to this place several times before and recommended it to friends but on this occasion when taking friends we were unfortunately let down by how long it took to be served & some of the main meals weren't available. A larger group that came in 30 minutes after us but got served before us with main meal which meant that most desserts were sold out by the time we were able to order ours.An unfortunate letdown compared to previous visits.

Well another fab meal at The Old Bank. Starters were amazing and main meals equally as good. This place is becoming one of my fav places to eat and I eat out regularity.

Having previously booked for a party of 10 our table was waiting for us when we arrived. Our host did not rush us to take our order and answered all our questions regarding choices and dietary concerns. Two of our quests dietary needs were known to staff who had even bought in items to ensure dietary requirements were met.We all enjoyed our food, which was excellent, being very well prepared and presented. The staff could not do enough for us which with the food and drinks resulted in an excellent night at the Old Bakehouse.

Absolutely 5 star. We had the £10 lunch menu. Food was freshly cooked and was lovely. Service was excellent although there was only one other table in. May have been a bit slower at busy times. Staff very friendly, welcoming and well presented. Will definitely go again!

Was almost 5 stars only 1 small thing was time of our meal took a little longer than expected but staff were very polite welcoming and attentive throughout and food we received was very good be back again next month

We were looking for a lunchtime restaurant on a Monday (not easy!!)!and found the Old Bank - WOW, a true Turkish delight! Their £10 lunch menu was DELICIOUS. We definitely be back

It was delicious. Absolutely delicious. What can I say. The service was good. The description of the food was very good. We were very adventurous in our choices and everything was spot on. I shared the experience on Facebook and quite a few of my friends had the same experience. We will go again. The price was right.

Very stylish dining. We chose several small plates from the meze menu for lunch. Favourites were the grilled halloumi, meatballs and the baked hummus. The flatbread with it is delicious, so moreish! Really warm welcome by Ellis. All in all, a fab place to meet up and enjoy great food and drinks. Comfortable seating and modern. Excellent.

Had a birthday supper with 8 friends here last night. It was fabulous. Everyone enjoyed it. We will be returning

We took friends of ours for dinner and had a lovely evening. I did book a table as Saturdays tend to get quite busy. We were seating upstairs which is just as nice as the downstairs area. The service from arriving to leaving was great, although the waitress was a little unsure of the wine selection we made. We ordered Chablis and she didn't seem familiar with the wines - no problem, we pointed at the wine list.The food was excellent and we had enough time between courses for it to be comfortable and not too long that we felt we were waiting. Would definitely recommend and we will go again.

So angry, service wasn’t bad, food wasn’t bad and I would have left s tip. However my £7.50 change was not given to me, I had to ask for it. It was retrieved from the tips jar. Needless to say I didn’t leave a tip. In this country we are allowed to reward service staff with tips, but I don’t expect them just to keep my money without my permission.

Yes, Mother in Law babysitting as Kids off, so what to do for a Lunchtime meal for my wife's Birthday. Wanted her to try something bit different, and so glad I went with this gem of a place. Few years back we came for an evening Meze, but, they had lunchtime specials with loads of choices, so I went for it. Whichever meal you pick will be gorgeous, but my wife, a week later still raves about the meal. She had Halloumi starter and Iskender, whilst I had mushrooms followed by an Adana. It was all perfect, and the service was immaculate. The atmosphere was incredibly friendly, just like everyone was on holiday, relaxed, informal where the food was the feature. I was driving, so didn't do the raki, but my wife did get sparklers on her dessert which just proves this is a proper restaurant who puts its customers first My Turkish Coffee was served in a really unique vessel...and brings me to my only gripe. The owners have worked really hard on the restaurant, with loving care, creating fantastic food in a real friendly ambiance. The vessel I was served my coffee in are really expensive to source in the UK. The lady has had so many stolen, I was lucky to get this. They run a business, yet some customers think it is ok to nick their property...disgusts me...you should stick to fast food if you can't keep your grubby hands off others hard learnt property.Gripe with customers over....a fantastic meal, just the right portions, and with drinks and dessert for the 2 of us...less than £40, and absolute bargain. Thank you all at The Old Bank...we will be back.

well, not exactly, its sort of fusion with British cuisine but none the worse for that, This was our first visit but it most certainly won't be the last. Great food at very competitive prices in a spectacular converted bank building. Loved it.

My wife and I with our 2 closest friends dined here this evening 11/04/19. The Old Bank has become a regular place for us both to eat over the past 3 years, whether a lunchtime meal or evening dinner. The premises is clean, modern, classy and well presented. The staff are very helpful and cheery. Ellis the owner is always accommodating as his her husband. The range of drinks will appeal to many tastes, the 'Effes' Turkish lager is particularly nice. Spirits, wines and Beers are also available. The food quality though is excellent, freshly cooked to order and served very hot. The menu range is very good indeed, with many dishes worth trying even if its your first visit, and if you're not sure, don't be afraid to ask the staff for an explanation, they will clearly explain everything. I find no reason for anyone not to like it here. Thank you for another lovely evening again and see you again very soon.

Once again very tasty food, attentive staff and pleasant surroundings. We will be back. The only drawback is the parking in the area but that is not the fault of the restaurant.

My friend and I visited on a very wet Tuesday lunchtime. The weather appeared to have put people off of eating out as there was only 6 of us in the restaurant. This is such a pity as the £10 for 2 courses lunch menu is very good value for money. I had the hummus followed by the lamb stew and my friend had the halloumi and the chicken kebab.We also had 3 soft drinks and a coffee. Our bill was a very reasonable £30.

Myself, my partner, my sister and our parents visited this lovely restaurant last weekend, on Saturday evening. Firstly the decor was very elegant, and we were immediately impressed. Our drinks selections were taken quickly, however we did have to wait a little for someone to come and take our food order, which was a bit surprising as at this point, the restaurant was too busy. The young lady who took our order was polite and knew the menu well, and was able to recommend a variety of the dishes when some of our group couldn’t choose between a few. The food was delicious! We really enjoyed it. We ordered a few meze dishes to start including the baked hummus and grilled halloumi, which were all very good. All of our main meals were excellent, the flavour of the food was so good, and the meat was so tender. By this time the restaurant was quite busy, and unfortunately the service did start going downhill. It took a very long time for the plates to be cleared and even longer to be offered the dessert menu. We ordered our desserts and Turkish tea for everyone. Again, a long time after our order had been taken one of the girls returned to tell us that they had run out of vanilla ice cream but we could choose another flavour. (Sadly, with the exception of the rum and raisin we would not recommend the ice cream.) finally our desserts arrived, however my partners chocolate fondant took another ten minutes to come to the table, by which time we’d all mostly finished our desserts. The Turkish tea was yet another few minutes arriving after this. We wouldn’t recommend the desserts either unfortunately. The baklava was nowhere near as good as we have had in other restaurants, and the lemon cake/tart was frozen! We had finished our desserts for such a long time that all of the uneaten ice cream had completely melted, and still none of the plates were cleared and no one came to our table. We managed to grab a lady running past and ask her for the bill, the plates were still not cleared and 15 minutes later we had to ask someone else for the bill as it had not been brought and other tables were being attended to. The bill did finally come over and the plates were cleared at this time. Overall, we really enjoyed our evening, the food was mostly excellent and the service could have been really good, we would return and we would definitely recommend. The wait staff were working incredibly hard so think perhaps that some more staff would be beneficial at busy times.

Fabulous atmosphere,nice decor and staff very nice,now that bits done what can I say about the Turkish food fabulous I know I've used the word before but it really was and very good value,the roast aubergine starter was to die for brilliant place.👌

We had heard good reports of this restaurant and decided to meet some friends there on a Saturday evening. The service, food and ambience were all excellent and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely return.

Having visited The Old Bank on a few occasions before we returned for a Birthday Meal. Once again food was fantastic and service was spot on. Just the right level of attention and privacy to make it right.

This restaurant has become one of our favourites from a wide selection locally. Always greeted by pleasant, friendly and courteous staff. Food is always fresh and service is not rushed. Good wine selection available and plenty of other drink selections of both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Very reasonably priced menu with a very good Turkish selection.

The lunch here never disappoints. Tasty, filling and good value coupled with good service and a well appointed setting. We never stick to 2 courses as the Turkish dessert and coffee are too good to resist. Consistent and reliable venue.

This was our first taste of Turkish food but it won't be the last. Our meals were excellent and full of flavor and the surroundings were lovely. The only downsides were the chips (french fries) were disappointing I would have preferred "proper chips" and the side orders were very limited we would have liked some vegetables.

Went for lunch on Saturday, with friends. We had the two courses for £10 menu. The service was friendly and portions were just right. Plenty of choice on the menu. A realy enjoyable Saturday lunch meal.

We booked last minute for a quick evening meal out. The service was great, we were seated quickly and severed just as quick. The food was hot on arrival and super yummy! We have eaten here many times and would highly recommend the ‘Old Bank Mixed Grill’ - Marinated Chicken sis, Lamb sis, and Adana sis served on a sizzling platter with peppers tomato and onion and a choice of rice or bulgur (pick the Bulgur, it’s yummy!)

We went to the Old Bank Rothwell for a meal on Fri 7th Dec 2018. The food was lovely, the atmosphere was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Our waitress, Caitlin was very helpful and able to assist us in choosing dishes that suited our taste. She checked we had everything and that we enjoyed the meal. Super night out.

We went there on Friday after a recommendation from a family member. We picked a few starters to share and the I had the mixed grill (lamb,pork and chicken) kababs and my wife had the chicken kabab. The food was really nice and the staff were also very friendly. We had 3 courses each and a couple of drinks which came to £55 which we thought was less that we thought it would have been. We are hoping to go back there soon.

The meals are amazing and had a lamb dish that just melted in my mouth. Service is also amazing and the atmosphere is great. Would definitely recommend.

Easy to get a really, really good value lunch here but beyond that, the evening menu is somewhat limited - I find it hard to believe that all Turks eat is lamb and tomato based dishes?A bit of variety in the menu and this place would easily get another mark out of me

Had a lovely meal from there lunch time menu. The baked hummus is a must . Very polite and friendly staff and made to feel very welcome.

Visited this restaurant before and whilst the setting and décor is excellent the food experience was death by meat and there was little variance between the starters and mains. However on this occasion we chose wisely with some mixed starters and some sauce based mains ( I cant recall the names) but the dishes were rich and tasty. Staff are friendly and would suggest taking some advice before your order to ensure you get the best experience

Food and staff in this restaurant were second to none. Could have done with some back ground music but really friendly with a great selection of tradition food and drinks at a reasonable price. Look forward to revisiting soon.

We have been to other Turkish Restaurants and so we went to compare.The food selection is OK, but the portions are enough for most, but small when compared to other locations.But the price works out better.The decor is bright,but does not reflex anything Turkish! The service was fast, but when waiting for the bill, it took longer than expected, over 15 minutes!!

They is a beautifully presented restaurant in an old bank. The menu is lovely and food well cooked etc. Service is friendly. The lunch deals are particularly good value. Nice wine list too.

Came here for my husband's birthday. I booked the table online using the online system, we had a very quick response from them saying yes table booked for 7.30pm. The restaurant has a very open feel about it. Loads of room between tables so don't feel over looked. Staff were very helpful. Great service from them. We ordered the starters which we enjoyed. Shame they did not last to long. I have mini lamb meatballs and they could have just given me plates of these. My husband had the mixed grill and I had the cod ( something I would never Go for) but so glad I did. There was plenty of food. So hot and freshly cooked. The smell was amazing. I will be coming back no to way about it.

Visited with family. Good food and good service. This was second visit. Never been disappointed. Even the fussy kids enjoyed food.

We ate here with some friends on a very busy Saturday night. The only thing that spoilt the evening was having to drive around Rothwell for nearly 20 minutes to find a parking space - which is the norm according to the waiting staffThe restaurant as the name suggests is in the old Midland Bank building , it has been designed and decorated beautifully. The place was heaving when we arrived, we were taken to our table straightaway and our drinks order taken while we waited for our friends.For the rest of the evening the service was a bit sporadic but when we attracted the attention of the waitresses, even if they were not our original server our request was dealt with promptly The food was delicious and varied, the waitress said the Meze dishes were quite small to share between 4 of us but we found them adequate. After these and a main we were all too stuffed to savour the desserts on offerWhen we received the bill we were extremely impressed at £30 a head including beer,G&Ts and wine great value and great food We will definitely be back and will recommend

Visited here again very recently,in the evening.I think that the lunch menu is much better value than the evening .On the plus side,the food was as good as it always is but we didn't like having our main meal served on a side plate.Why can't it be on a dinner plate?Also had to ask for more bread.Every other Turkish that I have been to,not just in Northants, always serves at least 3 different dips with warm bread,to nibble whilst deciding what to eat and I always miss that here.I think we shall just stick to lunchtimes in future.Mezzes were delicious,better than the main course in fact.

We really enjoyed our visit here. The restaurant is nicely decorated and well laid out. The service was polite and friendly, they were happy to change one of the dishes to suit. Our food arrived quickly and was excellent, portion sizes were just right too. We both had baklava with ice cream for dessert which was delicious. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Have visited this place many times and must say the best time to come is lunch times they offer 2 courses for £10 which is great value for the quality of food off the set menu. The chicken is nice very softly cooked there mushroom starter is tasty and they do a nice sea bass meal if you order off the normal menu. The staff owner is friendly and very accommodating if you want things swaped or added etc and the decor and buiding is comfortable and nice to sit in. Food portion on lunch is not big portions but more then enough for 2 courses to fill you up. Highly recommend for lunch visits as quieter then evenings and such good value.

We have been meaning to try out this Restaurant for ages and finally made it! We love Turkish food so we were looking forward to our meal. We couldn’t fault the food, the staff or the service. Congratulations to the Chef too. In the capable hands of Ellis this is a little gem. Would thoroughly recommend and will return.

Had an excellent meal very tasty and well presented - friendly waitress and lovely decor will definitely go back

We have been using the Old Bank since it opened, and our experiences have always been good. We always select 4 or 5 starters for two of us and usually have a simple grill and salad - always fresh!We recently tried it for lunch and though they have a lunch offering we stuck to our usual fare and were not disappointed with the food or the good natured service.

We booked for a family of 10 and they gave us a private room!amazing for the kids and the food was awesome! Love the bread and baked hummus. Really friendly and helpful

Went recently. lovely warm interior, attractive decor. Starters for four tiny no where near enough (and I have a small appetite) 3 pieces of Halloumi for 4 people, all small starters, one piece of flat bread for four. Main course, v nice , and good portion size. Dessert, beyond a joke . Baklava, three miniscule pieces per person, about half an inch square REALLY. If I went back to this place, I would certainly miss out the starter and the dessert, shocking value for money

Tried the Old Bank before we took in a show at the Durngate . Great steak and even better if you show you show tickets you get a 25% discount on your food. Service was great and Aaron was the barman was brilliant.

Booked a table for 8 oclock for a romantic meal for us here, we were shown to a table upstairs, didnt look like the place was packed out either, waitress came and took our drinks order, she came across quite cold, not very welcoming at all, then asked if we wanted to order our food.. i said give us 10 mins, she came back then and we ordered but wanted us to order the mains aswell so gave us another 10mins...the starters came about 20mins after..food was amazing..we finished around 8.30ish and then waited which seemed to long to wait for the mains to turn up, they did around 9.15ish, and was told they had run out of fries so was offered roast potatoes on the house, the food again was lovely, we ate our food and waited for someone to come over and ask if all was ok and would we like more drinks? Nobody came and i had to ask myself to order drinks, my girl had a pudding which waz very nice, to sum up this vist, the food was top notch, but service is quite poor here and more needs to be done, this lets the place down, other reviews speak of the same treatment aswell so something isnt right with some of the staff working here..hopefully reading these reviews somebody may re-structure the staff and actually realise that something needs to get better than what it is at the moment....Food =PerfectService=Poor.

I went for a meal with my wife in Feb 2017. We were greeted pleasantly, and shown to our table. On looking around at the restaurant, I would describe it as contemporary in terms of decor and furnishings - and there is additional seating upstairs.We went straight to mains, kebabs with Bulgar wheat - quite simply one of the tastiest plates of food I've had in a long time.We then had enough room for the baklava (of course) and the portion size was perfect, and it was very nice indeed.Service from Katie was nicely timed, and unfussy - just how I like it. I look forward to visiting The Old Bank again very soon!

We went for my boyfriends birthday with his parents and had a fabulous time. The decor is great and the building itself is magnificent! We shared lots of small plates as starters and each one was delicious then our mainstream and dessert were fantastic too!Service from the staff was brilliant, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back again soon!

Celebrating a friends birthday and her husbands birthday. As always a lovely night, food is stunningly good, the service is always great, so welcoming and friendly, we all enjoyed our meals. Ellis and her team always do a spot on job. The lamb is to die for! The starters are also so good! Calamari and spicy sausage is a favourite of mine! The restaurant is pure class in its set out. Smart, modern and so clean. 10/10

We took a friend out for his birthday as he always says how much he loves The Old Bank. The service was really good! We did not book and one of our party arrived slightly earlier than us and the waitress knew who we were and took us to where our friend was seated. We started with 3 for£10 mezes and had six dishes between the four of us. We also ordered a main meal each along with a couple of drinks each. The wait for each course to come out was short and at no point did we feel rushed to finish our food. The mezes were beautiful but I was a bit disappointed with my main but that was down to personal preference rather than an issue with how it was cooked. The overall bill came to around £80 after taking a £10 voucher off which is very reasonable. We also received another £10 off voucher with our bill. Would visit again :) thank you!

Called in on Friday lunchtime and had the place to ourselves for a while. The owner was very attentive and always has been. We had a two course lunch special at £10 each, very good value and all delicious. Had the ginger pudding which is exceptionally light.

We recently visited the restaurant and were greeted by a friendly lady who showed us to our table immediately, I ordered the blue lagoon cocktail and it was delicious. We had 2 meze's to share the garlic and chilli mushrooms and the homemade hummus, both came with plenty of bread for dipping. For the main course we had the chicken in tomato sauce wrapped in a pancake which was sensational! For dessert we both opted for the chocolate fondant which as your spoon went into the sponge chocolate sauce oozed out, a real treat! We will be returning.

We visited for a treat for my birthday. We booked for 6pm although we were lucky as it was quiet when we arrived. Witness to what an excellent restaurant it is, was the amount of people that quickly filled it in the next 2 hours. We had a combination of hummus and lamb mezzes for starters followed by so setup seconds of chicken in tomato and yogurt. The service was great, food excellent and service was quick and lovely. We will be visiting AGAIN!

Hemos comido aquí muchas veces, pero no siempre se unió a TripAdvisor. La última visita fue mi cumpleaños, y el encantador personal hizo una agradable noche de mi cumpleaños, pidiendo mi hermana tranquilamente lo que mi bebida favorita era, etc. . La comida es estupenda y el personal de aquí es tan bonita! lo hacen tan igualmente los grandes platos! 10/10
