UPDATE: There has been issues with this place the last three visits in a row-items missing from the order, overcooked/burnt food and no apology when pointed out. As mentioned, it's a pleasant cafe in a good location but the standard of food and service leaves much to be desired. This is a pleasant cafe/restaurant in a good location. The food is reasonably priced however the service is slow, the food was overcooked and the portion sizes are insufficient. On my last visit, I was waiting circa ten minutes for the order to be taken then circa 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Other patrons were also waiting for a similar period. The restaurant was busy but not excessively so. An additional side dish was ordered(due to the small portion size) but it didn't arrive. I would go back to this restaurant but the above-mentioned issues need to be addressed.

Food was delicious but service was not great. Got a whole plate of food dropped on our table and had to clean it up ourselves, no offer to bring us a fresh plate or anything in terms of apology. Our drinks never came with the food and even after having to get up and ask for them, still took a whole 5 min to get a coke and a coffee...very disappointing.

We visited here on a Monday at 9am as part of 'eat out to help out' and will absolutely be back. The prices are great even without 50% off and the food was delicious. We ordered the pancakes with mixed fruit and nutella, spainish breakfast and eggs benedict with 2 x cappuccinos and a green smoothie which was lovely. The pancakes were so light and fluffy, some of the best we've had. The service was great and food delivered fast. Superb little cafe.

A friend told me this place was like someone's front kitchen and they're not wrong but hey, it's a small diner in a small village and as such I think it's great. Lovely staff, fresh sandwiches, tasty chips, nice hot tea in a decent pot and oh bliss! Scones that (A) don't taste primarily of soda; and (B) are proper sized! When did it become necessary or even desirable to have scones the size of dinner plates?? Oh and (C) after a certain time they run out of them, which suggests they are made fresh and not stock-piled in a freezer somewhere. Definitely pop in here when passing through The Moy and enjoy old-fashioned quality at a reasonable price.

I called for a late lunch to day and ordered the club sandwich and a bottomless cup of coffe from the young man who took my order, this would be a normal request that I would make as I have been caught out before, however no one advised me that this was not possible. The food was a bit slow and being lunch time on a Friday' I understand this can happen, by the time my sandwich arrived I had already consumed half of my coffee, hence why I requested the bottomless coffee, and when I requested an extra cup of coffe I received a fresh cup but was not advised at any time that I was going to be charged for the refill or extra coffee. When I finished I was surprised to be told that the cost would be £10, I queried the cost as I had requested the bottomless cup of coffe when I placed my initial order, however the Lady rather arrogantly told me that she did not agree to this, and that this was the charge and she was not prepared to compromise, I decided to pay the full amount as I did not want a confrontation and although rather annoyed by her attitude left and decided that I would not be returning. The Lady's attitude totally ruined what otherwise could have been a pleasant experience.Although she won this episode I will take my business elsewhere as a matter of principle due to this Lady's arrogant attitude.

So I am in Moy 2 or 3 times per week and had never been to this cafe. It was actually my mother in law who suggested it today. I was expecting another dull, run of the mill cafe with sandwiches, lasagne and staff who treated it more like their social life than a business. I could have been further wrong because it was a quirky, welcoming and upbeat establishment offering something more. The decor was great and had my attention more so than the menu. The Sandwiches, Wraps and Paninis all had a twist offering fresh ideas and very fresh ingredients. I liked the presentation of the lunch and even the pot of tea. One of things I didn't like was that by the time I was leaving, primary school had ended and 4 unruly children in a very small place was doing my head in. However this has no reflection on the owners and I will definitely recommend and return to this place. It offers great value for money

Called in with my eldest son. Great cafe with a very relaxed atmosphere. I particularly like the fact that all the food is cooked and prepared within view of all the diners.Great menu, my son had the all day breakfast and said it was delicious. I spotted eggs benedict and thought I would try it. The best eggs benedict I've ever had was in the K Club in Kildare, but this surpassed it. Cooked to absolute perfection. Staff very friendly and welcoming. But of course, the amount of trade they do is testament to the quality. Highly recommended.

Argory is a great place to visit but the tearoom is often closed out of season. Hence we are here and it was well worth the detour. Food, company and WiFi excellent.

I stumbled upon this little gem of a cafe, and so glad we did! This lovely little cafe was just like a little slice of Australian coffee culture in Northern Ireland. Ran by a lovely trio (An Aussie young woman and two Irish brothers who lived down under) this is a great stop for food, drink and a bit of a chat or a laugh with the owners. As a fan of good quality coffee, this place didnt disappoint - the best Ive had since leaving Melbourne. The all day breakfast is of a high quality and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone passing through the great little village of Moy!

Got there on Sunday morning based on tripadvisor reviews. We were welcomed with a big smile...There was the three of us: my husband, my son and myself. Everybody got what they ordered, the breakfast was lovely and the coffee delicious. This is a great place to start the day.

This must be one of the best things that has ever happened in this beautiful village! The Larder is a breath of fresh air and up there with the best coffee shops in Ireland. The breakfasts are full of flavour and piping hot- highly recommended, along with a first class cappuccino - or two!! The premises may be on the small side but the food, the coffee and the staff are wonderful.Pay a visit as soon as- you won't be disappointed!!

When the local police are drinking their coffee this is a sign of a good place that has been christened by their presence. I was starving for a place like this and it did not disappoint. Nice fluffy scones, with fruit or cherries or plain. Your choice of custom made coffees such as americano's caffe lattes, hot chocolate. The menu also showcases some creative sandwiches and soups. It also serves breakfast all day. It was very busy and accommodating. Great staff and free wifi, location was bright and clean.
