We had the lunchtime meal for a £10. Large portions and top notch quality. Staff as always were professional,efficient and courteous. Great value and lovely lunch!

Booked the restaurant for my daughters 40th birthday lunch (12 family members) from the moment we walked in to the moment we left we had a lovely female guide who greeted everyone as they came in and catered for our every need (apologies I should have got her name) service was excellent food choice was excellent and the taste and quality of all meals were outstanding and great value for money Thank you to all the staff for a perfect venue and a perfect birthday lunch for my daughters 40th birthday we will definitely be back

we had been travelling back from prestwick and we mentioned that we had visited the mill house many years ago. We decided on a whim to visit it for lunch. So to start with wheelchair is accessible but not really suitable from the car park unless you want a longer walk to the entrance. The waitress advised us to park round the corner for easier access. Unfortunatley there are double yellow lines so we had to park further back. However we made it inside and had a reasonable lunch. We took our dessert outside in the very small beer garden because we were allowed to take our small dog there. I wouldnt say it was a private are as you are situated on a corner of a busy street but it was ok. staff were nice. Disabled toilet is quite small

We recently had a family get together at The Mill House in Stewarton. The menu was extensive and what we had served to us was first class. I had the sea bass with prawns and it was mouth watering. However it has its bad points. The service was slow and while we knew that it was expensive we were not prepared for the size of the servings but also the additional cost of Vat being added to the price stated on the menu ! Will we be back, think not at those inflated prices.

Really disappointed with quality of food given cost of meal. Cheese sauce with macaroni was very watery, quite off putting. Partner had Cajun crepes which she enjoyed however again sauce appeared to be watered down. Disappointed given how highly it is recommended and given the price was very underwhelming.

Went to the Mill house for dinner to use a gift voucher we had been given the service and staff were 1st class but £16.95 for fish and a few chips was well over priced as was the desserts my husband had two small scoops of ice cream we were charged £6 .75 I can buy 3 tubs of walls ice in the supermarket for £6 also a small waffle with some bananas and a drop of ice cream £7. 95 well overpriced and the bottle of coke £3.75. I would never go back there.They must be making a fortune from us the customer. Mill House get your act together and review your prices

Haggis starter - tasteless Main Course - chicken was average. Pretty bland for something that is supposed to be spicy. Servers - presumably they will be taught that “Rioja” is a Spanish wine at some point. Deserved exception being (>?) Jenny however the guy who is supposedly a manager looked and acted like a headless chicken. All I would add is that as someone going back to Australia and knowing how good Scottish food is, this is a prime example of aspiration and decoration over ability. Neither good honest pub food nor approaching the standard of other venues in the chain, By the way - why have a downstairs bar and not have someone who is serving until the customers go looking….

Had my sons graduation dinner here for all our family. The service from start Finish was fantastic.! The staff went above and beyond to make sure our visit was enjoyable and relaxed. The food was great, and private area we had was beautifully decorated by the staff. I would highly recommend the Millhouse we had a lovely day. 5 star

This place is full of loud people who like to swear .... the food is over cooked and very very very salty 🧂 . Service is slow and worse uninterested. If you ask a question they look at you as if you are bothering them. Portion sizes are less than average which is ok based on the food. Parking A tiny car park so you park on the street You will see how making it look nice from the outside , brings in uneducated loud people to eat less than average food and enjoy bad service and blue language

The service was good. The meal we had was well cooked and presented. The only complaint was there wasn't enough of it. One of us had the steak pie which was fine. The other had the cajun chicken crepe and that is all there was no fries or salad. At £17.95 for the crepe, we thought this was a bit expensive. The coffee was also expensive for the size of the cups. This wouldn't put us off going back, we would just need to order something different.

Very nicely laid out restaurant, friendly welcome and drinks brought as we arrived in ones and twos. Great menu, lots to choose from. Our food was well presented and delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful except on one point. We are 6 large older men and we were shown to a tight round booth style table. There were larger long style tables available but we wer told they were reserved. point to not when we left 2 hrs later the reserved tables were still unused.

The lovely staff made my 91 year old father feel very special on his birthday. We had a very enjoyable birthday lunch appreciating the cool of the attractive interior on a scorching day. Thanks again to staff for their attentive care.

Called up looking for a table and they were able to accommodate us in 15 minutes which was ideal. The atmosphere and decor is lovely. The staff are very attentive. We got the plant based burger and it was amazing. My partner is gluten free and they were able to accommodate that for her no problem. Reasonably priced too.

Sadly this place has changed significantly in the last 6 months. Visited today for lunch with family and the food was poor. Chicken dishes soaked in grease, portions very small and service mediocre. Given a glass with lipstick stain and changed with not so much...

Went in with friend on Easter Monday. Friend had sour dough toast, I ordered off kids menu pancakes and maple syrup. The pancakes were so stale my knife wouldn’t cut them. Complained replaced with soft pancakes. Sorry won’t be back

I'm sorry to say but this restaurant isn't up to par at all. My main was returned as it was precooked and luke warm (mussels incidentally), the substitute meal of chicken, chilli and coconut was OK however the chicken was chewy and I suspect reheated....

Had a lovely experience recently. The food was gorgeous. My daughter always gets macaroni when she eats out and always leaves some but not this time , she eat the lot. Service was quick and friendly. I will be returning soon to try their breakfast which I'm sure will be of the same standard as lunch and dinner.

We LOVE the Mill House. It’s one of our ‘go to’ places when we want to dine out. Really good quality produce and lovely menu. Last time we visited we had the Sunday Roast which was delicious as usual. You Kay a supplement but it’s worth it. The restaurant also has a great day time menu for breakfast and brunch etc. Please visit if you haven’t been before, you won’t get disappointed.

REALLY ENJOYABLE EVENING :-)It is so difficult to feel relaxed and confident when going out after lockdown but the Mill House has it nailed. Their social distancing set up is great and puts you at ease from the minute you arrive at the restaurant. The food is yummy as always and the service was great too, very professional and friendly. If you are looking for somewhere to eat in confidence then i highly recommend booking a table here..

We went for a post lockdown meal here. The meal was expensive even with the £10 per person off in the Eat Out scheme. The dishes were from £14- £20 each (Seabass almost £20). I think the prices have been put up to get some of the lockdown money back ....ice cream was £5.50 and cokes were £2.80. UNlike the Beefeater there was no discount on soft drinks. I cannot complain about the food because it was really good.

Beef on burger was utter rubbish and dry and asked for it plain and it came with tomatoes witch am alrigic to.

Had a lunch visit with my daughter and grandkids today, highly recommend... food was amazing and service was brilliant with all considerations given to the current situation, staff very attentive, ( using all PPE well) also all areas being sanitised regularly . Track and trace in place and organised well....

Like most of us as a family we were a bit tentative on returning to our favourite restaurant due to Covid. However our experience was up to the usual high standard. Great to see all the familiar staff albeit they’re masked up. Fantastic service as usual and the food was brilliant...so glad we’re hopefully heading back to some normality and thanks to all at Buzzworks for their efforts.

After being on our feet all day we enjoyed a lovely dinner at The Mill House. The menu was varied and well priced.

We had a meal here on a Sunday evening and I could not fault the experience. The staff were very polite and helpful with service being extremely efficient. The two course menu was £12 which is fantastic value with a good choice of varied dishes.

We enjoyed an early evening meal (5pm) with our Son his partner and our granddaughter. There were no compromises in the menu even though it was an early bird offer,each dish was delicious and satisfying. Our granddaughter was fussed over and pleased with her activity sheet and crayons. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Decor is a delight. Will definitely be regulars.

Menu should suit everyone. Staff pleasant and helpful. Food took a while to come even although it was quiet. Garlic bread not worth ordering as its a small portion and very overpriced.

We visited the Mill House for a family lunch in February.We ordered a mix of starters, the haggis pakora was very spicy and batter was a bit soggy. The Mill House stack was very tasty but the plates were dangerously hot, while the waitress did warn us, there is no way plates should be left that long under the heat lamp.Most of us ordered the Sunday roast and were quite disappointed. My beef in particular was very fatty and not very enjoyable, it was also quite well done. There wasn’t a lot of veg and there was only one roast potato and the rest was mash, who has mash with a roast?! The menu also specified that it came with bottomless gravy but we weren’t given any more. The decor is lovely, the drinks menu is good and it was a nice setting for a family meal but the service was slow, the restaurant was cold and the food was disappointing so we won’t be in a rush to go back.

The food is excellent every time we go. Great size portions and helpful staff. Sometimes have to wait a while to food, but when it comes it’s worth it. I had a side salad and vegetable fajitas. My partner had goats cheese starter and vegetable crepes for main. Only fault is that the dessert menu could have a couple more options, apart from that couldn’t fault it. Definitely be back again.

Asked for stake and ale pie,, received what the waitresses described as the beef dish,,, clearly not stake pie and beef bourguignon they wer trying to get rid of of there festive fair menu,,,,I have been a chef 20 years,, passing at bourguignon off as stake pie was cleaver if u like bacon and baby onion in it ,,, any way that wasn’t Evan that good,, dry ,, first and last time going there

Asked for macaroni and cheese. Didn't realise that you can get different macaroni and cheese. Received what I now understand was simple mac n cheese in a skillet. Couldn't believe that there were no sides offered with this - very small dish. Every other place I have eaten macaroni and cheese has either fries, salad or garlic bread offered with this dish - sometimes all three, - but no, this comes with nothing - including cheese flavour or macaroni pasta. It was, instead, canneroni- new one on me for a macaroni substitute. I love macaroni and cheese and make it regularly myself. Wish I had stayed home and made my own. My son had a Wellington - another mistake because there was no mention of vegetarian, it didn't mention the word beef, so his mistake. Pity some of the items on the online menu weren't on the lunchtime menu when we visited. Really wished we had gone somewhere else.

My meal was fine but my gran had macaroni and the sauce was runny and had zero cheese taste - they took it off the bill which was nice. My main reason for the lower rating is how poor the disabled access is.

What a lovely restaurant! The mill house belongs to a local group of restaurants so I had visited the one in Prestwick before but each is slightly different and I really loved The Mill House.

We visited The Millhouse on the Sunday. We opted for the lunch menu with the Sunday Roast. The lamb and roast beef were so tender and delicious. We enjoyed the food so much, we went back two weeks later.

Visited here multiple times! Love it every time I come! Food is outstanding! My favourites are the vegetarian fajitas and the goats cheese! They have good options for vegan/vegetarians/gluten-free people. Very accommodating!

We have dined at the Mill House on a number of occasions and have always had a good time. I think this visit was probably the best, I think all the work that has been done has been concluded and it looks all the better for it. The upper bar area is warm and welcoming, there is a good, well priced menu, the staff are friendly and the food was excellent. We have to travel from the south side of Glasgow to get here but it was worth it. We will be back fairly soon.

Received an email from buzzwords offering 50% discount off food. Myself and two friends had a white wine two soft drinks, sea bass, steak piecajun chicken crepes followed by two teas an expresso and cakes. Total bill £37.50. My friends were really impressed and are definitely going again whether it is discounted or not. Loved The Millhouse which I have been to several times and not had a bad meal. The service was excellent as always.

Been coming to the Mill House for over 40 years and this is the best version by far. The new (or not so new now) owners have invested a lot into it and it works. It looks great and is a lovely place to eat and drink. The outside terrace is a gem and one of the main draws in the summer. Good selection of ales and I'm glad they've kept the prices reasonable. Lovely staff as well, young, lively and chatty. Well done - looking forward to going back.

Myself and my wife went for a late afternoon lunch on Monday.

Visited for the friends quiz and although had a table booked in the restaurant we were allowed to just eat in the bar thankfully as otherwise we would not have had a table for the quiz.

Myself, my husband and our two friends reserved a table at The Mill House at 3pm on Sunday 9th Sept. We were going for the quiz that was starting at 5pm and thought we would get some food beforehand. What a nightmare that was!

We had been given a Gift Voucher for our Golden Wedding & we chose to use it at "The Mill House" Restaurant.

Have used the Mill House before for a private birthday party and again they surpassed our expectations. Great food super service and very helpful staff who looked after our guests. Thanks again Bob Reid

We just ate the most delicious meal we’ve had in Scotland. In addition to the wonderful prime roast beef and salmon spaghetti, we had excellent service from Mya, who made us feel welcome. So glad we choose this restaurant!

Cosy, welcoming bar attached to the Mill House restaurant with a good range of spirits and beers on tap. Good selection of bar food. Not loads of seats in the bar area so if you've got the choice I would recommend visiting at quieter times (avoiding e.g. Friday and Saturday evenings if possible). Plenty of outside seating if the weather is nice.

We had breakfast which was a real treat , as always the food was lovely. I have found the Mill House to be great any time ,the service is second to none and everyone a pleasure ❤️ well worth a visit x

Have been here a few times with different people and every time the staff are very good and food delicious

It's compacted tables are close together. The food is a hit or miss been and the food was great another time not so good, the pawns had not been cleaned correctly and waitress just walked away.

What a great place! It is rare that I struggle to select something from a menu because absolutely everything looked so mouth watering. Six of us dined and we were all massively impressed with every mouthfull. The wine and particularly the cocktails were superb. And truly excellent service too.

Having eaten here often I had a very disappointing lunch with friends today. 3 of the 4 main courses were not properly cooked and although a very helpful and pleasant server took them away and apologised it seemed when they came back that a much smaller portion was returned. This was little better than the first effort and unfortunately we were too polite and fed up to complain again to the server who was already obviously embarrassed at what we had been served. No further enquires as to how things were not any mention of any reduction in the bill to make up for the problems. Poor show Millhouse you need to do better than this!

Have been here for lunch or drinks a few times and really like it here. It’s relaxed and there is a good atmosphere. The food is always good and the menu has plenty on it. It can be a bit difficult to get parked close by but once in it’s lovely.

A Busy Saturday night asked to wait in bar to allow time for our booked table to be cleared and they would come and get us, we then after 30 minutes had to to go and ask. This took half hour out of our time for which a taxi had been booked after the meal.

Went in the other night for evening meal with my wife, the service was a wee bit slow but it was quite busy, the food was fine and the staff were polite and friendly, would go back and would recommend.

Nice friendly restaurant with attentive staff. Good Buzzworks standard but so busy you have to eat meal and give up the table. Then there's no space with free seats to sit chat and relax afterwardsYou need to find a pub somewhere else. So if it's only a meal and off that you want, it's a good venue.

The House Stack starter is excellent. However they no longer give you an option between a 6oz or a 10oz fillet steak and you need to have left space for a 8oz steak.

Having been to the Mill House before & found it to be adequate, we decided to visit today for my wife’s birthday lunch, a huge mistake as the staff were having a “ blonde “ day ! Firstly, my order of zero alcohol lager turned magically into a bottle of zero coke ? Then when that was returned, it was replaced with a bottle of brew dog beer, I just took that as I was losing the will ! Secondly, girl came to take order & after my wife placed her starter & main order, girl reckoned that was enough & made to leave, I had to stop her & tell her I was looking for some sustenance too ! Thirdly, My wife had asked for a medium to well done steak which arrived raw in the middle, I’m not sure if the waiting staff hadn’t listened or the chef was having an off day too, anyway steak returned & cooked properly which isn’t ideal if you are trying to have a birthday lunch for two ! I have just crossed them off my list of venues for lunch or any other type of food as £57.20 for the poor service we suffered isn’t acceptable.

Decided on the Millhouse for a family celebration, we regularly eat at Buzzworks restaurants and the Millhouse remains my favourite. The food is presented to a high standard and was amazing - no complaints from the 7 of us. The surroundings are chic as you would expect and the service was top notch from all of the staff. The only criticism I would have, the 7 of us were crammed around a table that would only seat 6 but this didn’t have a dampener on our evening! Definitely worth a visit!
