Excellent fish and chips and staff cooked to order. My wife and myself really enjoyed them ☺definitely be back for more.

Amazing chippy, great prices and food is splendid. They even cook me fresh scraps when I go in. Highly recommend.

Hands down one the only place doing gyros the way they are supposed to be done in Deeside. No other kebab comes close in this whole region. I know people go there for chips, sausage, fish and usually chippy stuff which is great no doubt.. However their chicken gyros with the real gyros bread is award-worthy. Been having for 5 years now, would be having for life. 😁

Litteraly the best chip shop in North Wales. (except from beach chips) curry and fish cakes are nice and my family are probably the most served. Have been going to the master fryer since 2018 with my nan and has always been the best chips. go here now!!

Master Fryer by name, Master Fryer by nature! this is a superb chippy, a rare find in this day and age… a jewel of take aways in the Queensferry area. Great, friendly service from the greek staff, fresh fish, traditional chips and healthy portions to say the least! I haven’t had fish and chips of this quality for years and the prices are more than reasonable. if you’re in the area, its a MUST. delicious

Nice looking place. Seams clean.getting a bit expensive and sometimes the food is undercooked but never made me I'll or anything. Takeaway for 2 is usually like 25 quid which isn't a cheap do.

Friendly staff, good prices and large selection of food types including Gyros. I only had a piece of Cod, it was a good size, nice and flakey and not too greasy or stodgy batter. Good value, recommended!

The food is great, but you can never order on deliveroo even though they are on it. The app always says they are closed 😢 on the website it doesn’t allow me to give my work address, and they dont cover Broughton either. Sad sad sad face

This place is always super clean, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food though is brilliant, the portions sizes are great, and food is always fresh and hot. Sure you can probably find somewhere a tiny bit cheaper but considering the quality of the food and amount that you get, it is a no-brainer to keep going back to The Master Fryer

I grew up on the coast where there are a few very good award winning chip shops, The Master Fryer is the most consistent and best I've been to, I eat here a lot, probably too often but I've now tried most things on the menu and can honestly say I'm yet to have a bad or even blow par meal from them. A great family run business, a credit to the street.

We bought 2 chicken kebabs with nan bread, and these kebabs were very tasty. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Also the staff was very friendly

Stopped off here as needed quick food when passing through. The 5* reviews are well deserved. Staff were friendly and efficient; I left with two kebabs within 5minutes. The chicken meat was the best we had ever tasted, very tender. The salad was a good helping and there was very little grease left in the tray after eating. Good value.

Used to go here all the time was the best chippy I thought, just been and had 2 sausage dinners. Chips were white, needed to be cooked loads more, sausages were cold even though they had hot curry sauce over it and mushy peas are not mushy. Disappointed as was the best chippy.

Best chip shop in Barry. As a fussy eater I am very particular with my food. If I’m paying for someone else to cook my meal, I expect it to taste better than I could prepare at home. Master fryer ticked these boxes. Speaking of boxes, let’s talk about presentation. The meals came in a box, beautifully presented within. Attention to detail. The chips were tasty and fluffy inside. But the fish…wow…perfect batter, inside the fish was moist and fresh, it tasted spectacular. Mushy peas were the perfect consistency and lovely tar tar sauce witch I had never liked in previous establishments, until now. All hot and definitely not reheated which I can tell. It was made fresh and sent straight out, which is exactly what I want when ordering. On other occasions I have tried their curry sauce, again amazing. Battered sausage, lovely. Whatever you’re ordering you’re going to love. Great job guys.

The best fish and chips shop but now we are let down they go on holiday going to open a cafe no delivery anymore as a disabled customer cannot get fish and chips anymore feel totally let down used to buy cod and chips twice every week 😢 😞 😑

Just had large chips, peas and curry, cod and large chips and 2 drinks. Was flippin lovely and so fresh. Good portions and change from a £20 which you don’t get these days!! Definitely visit again when we’re in the area.

£9.00 for a doner kebab on a man bread is extortionate, haven't been there for a while and certainly won't be going back while they charge this price. The kebab was positively average very greasy.

Probably one of the best chip shops locally, excellent food standards and great customer service. Slightly higher pricing compared to other chip shops locally thou hence 4 stars.

Use to be one of the best shops around, but not anymore. On my last order find out portions getting smaller, pita bread was old and meat was burned and mixed with meat from previous day ,maybe week. Unacceptable😡😡😡

This is a great, traditional chip shop, very popular so expect to queue. The sign of a good chippy is queues of locals waiting to be served. Always great food here. Recommended.

Gave me food poisoning 3 weeks ago from a cheese burger im assuming from the amount of grease, decided to try again today 11/2/20, ordered chicken strips and chips, the chips where the only thing that where nice and the chicken strips where the size of nuggets and the batter was like wet paper, Would not recommend this chips shop again.
