Called in on the off chance after wandering the streets of cow ridge. Had a 2course lunch for £17 ish. What fabulous food we had. Feta potatoesouffle with a bourgnnon sauce, served in a little churn. The taste is wonderful, followed by pork rolled in seeds with added apricot and other delicious tastes too. Glass of house wi e -very palatable. My husband had fish cake and real chips, and a cheese croquet to start. Too full for pudding though they looked stunning.. very good service too

Family hit the lunchtime set menu - really great. Excellent service and really tasty affordable food. Maybe a bit of bread with the soup/starters may aid enjoyment. Can't fault the ambience/music. Fantastic. Quality matches the cost. Try it.

Bar 44

10/08/2018: Bar 44 continues to be consistently excellent. The combination of regular tapas and some specials provides plenty of choice. The lamb meatballs are a favourite - and always 2 portions needed. Service is friendly.
17/06/2018: Popped in for a quick lunch the tapas was great, all the dishes nicely presented tasted amazing. Drinks were fantastic just like the service led by Molly! Looked after us well. all the staff were kind, friendly and helpful highly recommend coming for food again.

Cross Inn

07/04/2018: We visited this pub with our dog a few times as we were staying locally. On first entry we had a friendly reception from Sue the landlady. She happily chatted to us and gave our dog a treat. The food was lovely every time. I had fish and then a burger. It was one of the best burgers I've ever had, massive and really tasty with home made chips. The portion size was great and when my husband had the curry one night, Sue said "you need more that that" and came back with more.
07/04/2018: Visited here a few times now and I think it’s a really lovely traditional pub which offers great food and drink all reasonably priced. I think the staff make this place, they are so welcoming and it has a real family feel to it I’ve taken my son(4 years of age) with me and he’s been made so welcome unlike other establishments in the area. Great family pub with excellent food!
