Excellent on all counts, food was perfect. Not one complaint from anyone in our party of nine.

Really enjoyed my first experience at The Mad Turk the other week. It was fantastic! Will be visiting again in the future!

We came here for lunch today along with a friend and her toddler. The staff were very helpful and kind, and the food was lovely- I had the Iskender kebab which was excellent. I enjoyed the addition of strawberry and pomegranate seeds to my glass of prosecco, it was a nice touch.

The food was cooked to perfection, honestly one of the best Turkish I’ve eaten in a very long time. The atmosphere was great for a family meal The service was extremely attentive. Highly recommended

Very good service with delicious food

Superb meal with generous portions. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Also excellent value. Our main dish (vegetarian moussaka) was a subtle twist on the usual dish which was nice and unexpected. Thoroughly enjoyable experience and will very happily visit again.

We visited here tonight for dinner and it was fantastic. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The service was so smooth and efficient with so much attentiveness. Our food was absolutely delicious - props to the chef(s)- we had an array of different dishes and for the portion sizes, we felt that the prices were very reasonable. This is easily one of our favourite places to eat and we will be back soon! Thank you for making this such a lovely experience.

We were recommended to eat here by our hosts at the Air b & b we were staying in and it did not disappoint. In fact we enjoyed it so much we went back the next night. Food excellent, tasty and sufficient and the service brilliant. Would highly recommend.

Came here for my Dads and Sisters birthday, absolutely fabulous. Lovely staff, great food and such a lovely setting! The staff are super friendly and they brought out cake for both my Sister and Dad, which was so lovely. Thank you! 10/10 would highly recommend!

I would highly recommend a visit here. I have been here twice with my family and we all enjoyed the food. We tend to have the meze sharing platters and the baklava for dessert. Not sure how people manage three courses! Both times we have been the place has been packed so ensure you book in advance.

Another visit to our favourite restaurant. The Mad Turk never lets you down with its great food, friendly helpful staff and noisy exuberance. We have been both mid week and weekends and it is always busy full of couples and bigger groups enjoying themselves. That in itself speaks volumes. The food is incredible and we all love going here, the only thing is the service could be better which is a shame.

We went there for an 18th birthday celebration. The service was friendly and efficient. The menu was extensive and we selected the ottoman feast and maglan platters, that offered a great selection of meat and vegetarian options. All was cooked to perfection. To finish we had either the honeycomb cheesecake or velvet pudding that were delicious. For the birthday girl they played happy birthday and bought our some bubble blowing guns that put a smile on everyone’s face. Will be back again soon👍

We really enjoyed our evening at this restaurant, sitting outside in the warm evening sunshine. The food was plentiful and delicious and the service was excellent. It was so busy, on a Tuesday evening and everyone there looked to be having a great time. We will definitely return.

Noisy yes but full of life Tonight it absolutuely poured with rain and we thought it had slowed down. No it had not and was very wet indeed. Although our car was only parked 20 yards or so from the restaurant entrance Tolin went and fetched an umbrella for our use despite the restaurant being full and the staff very busy. What a wonderful place. If you have not been here yet give it a go you will not be disappointed

After 2 visits in very quick concession 1 meal with my best friend then with my family for my husband's birthday, I cannot recommend this enough.This is an amazing restaurant, the quality of food is extremely good and very flavorsome. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming, this is definitely a 5 star recommendation and I can't wait to return.

Beautiful setting (we sat in the outdoor area) , great helpful service. The food was beautifully presented - we tried the whipped feta for starter along with 2 other dishes, great main courses, lovely cheesecake to share. Everything was beautifully presented , tasty and the service was very good. Outstanding.

Gorgeous food in a great atmosphere. There was 5 of us, and we ordered big Ottoman Feast sharing platters which included starters, mains, and dessert for £38 per person. 2 of us had fish allergies and it was no trouble to replace the calamari with chicken wings. We also ordered a good few beers. Service was fast, but mostly very young college age people who, although polite, perhaps lacked a few life skills to interact. But that's no real criticism as otherwise they were very good. I would highly recommend the Mad Turk.

Visited tonight, we are a family of 4, 2adults and 2children 15yrs and 8yrs. Beautiful location out the back, reminded us of being abroad, food was amazing, service was excellent, all staff were outstanding, they looked quite young but what a credit to the restaurant. Fantastic food and really good service, one of my Stamford favourites. Gave it 4 stars for atmosphere as the garden room is lovely but when it’s full it’s so loud it’s hard to have a chat.

We had been here before, and had to come back as it was so nice. We love sitting in the courtyard to eat, where they have a very nice electric awning and a bar. The service was very good as was the wine. We had a sharing platter that was stacked with an abundance of perfectly cooked meats, finished off with a lovely baklava. Perfect!

Excellent setting, service and food. We were a group of 6 celebrating a birthday. I hadn’t informed the restaurant of this but the staff seen cards and wrapping paper and brought a complimentary dessert with candle, bubbles and singing! Fantastic will be returning

Share three ottoman feasts between four of us as one of our party barely eats and we had plenty of food. All of it was fantastic and the home-made baklava was amazing.

I’m never disappointed with this restaurant, the staff go way beyond expectations. Nothing is too much trouble and a really beautiful restaurant We had a family meal (all 19 of us) The staff set up the table outside in the enclosed garden which is like a conservatory but with a real holiday vibe You could actually be sitting in a restaurant in Turkey !! We preordered our food because of being a large booking. I had the Borek starter which I’ve had before and always enjoy. I booked this restaurant as I had been visiting family in the North and live in London. So was looking for a stop off when travelling back. From e-mailing to book it was very welcoming, responsive and accommodating. The dining experience was just exceptional, the staff are truly incredible. They are kind, warm and professional. They all look happy and nothing is any trouble. The food equally matched this excellence. Was all well timed and was so well cooked. Full of flavour and all just made to perfection. Thoroughly enjoyed this place. I will definitely be returning in the future and strongly recommend people to go if they are looking for a wonderful well priced exceptional experience. I was surprised to se that there were no service charges, which I do believe in, as people work so hard. So do consider making a tip as they very much deserve it.

A gorgeous meal! Me and the boyfriend decided to go here on our first night visiting Cambridgeshire. We were not disappointed one bit with the food and service. Everything came out quick after ordering, there’s no denying you’ll be well fed once you’ve left! The sea bass was a hit and the lamb fell off the bone! And the accompaniments were healthy, fresh and really enjoyable. Thank you all for a lovely night!

Went here with friends from work and must say we were all very disappointed. Food nearly cold , chicken and lamb dry . No one came and asked if everything was ok or if we wanted any more drinks. Coffee came without saucer and spoons

The food was very tasty and worth the drive from Peterborough. The customer service was also good, with polite staff members. It has a nice ambience with warm outside seating. Great food, we shared the Ottoman Feast for 2. Every dish was explained to us as Turkish food is new to us. Some we knew from the supermarkets but this was a whole other level. Deeper flavours, lighter coatings and the Baclava was so light and delicate that it put the supermarket stuff to shame. Wonderful experience, Teşekkürler!
