Excellent Lunch on Easter Sunday . Fish finger sandwich were amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return .

A hidden gem with delicious food and an amazing view over the harbour and beyond. My son, his partner and I were looking for somewhere for lunch and spotted this lovely place. The food was fresh and delicious, the service perfect - not too pushy, but attentive when required - and we wished we'd had more time to sit, have a dessert and relax. We have no hesitation in recommending this lovely restaurant, we can't wait to go back!

Wonderful lunch stop in Falmouth. Superb jerk Chicken Ciabatta and chips. Sometimes the simple things done well are best. Wonderful service too. 2 servers and I assume the owner made sure we were well looked after.

Superb tasty lunch of mackerel and another of fish finger sandwich. Stunning views, super service in a relaxed ambience. Toilets are exceptionally clean and fresh. Quantity and quality that matched the bill.

It was a gorgeous lunch, the crab sandwich was beautiful with fries and sald. My husband had the calamari with fries and salad The resturant itself was over looking the harbour an added bonus and had a garden area too. The staff were lovely here too.

Difficult to see inside the restaurant from the main street, but really nice inside . The tapas we ate was amazing, the best meal ever on the holiday! You could chose from 7 dishes & all were out of this world ! Definately worth a visit !

Called in for lunch today...loved the idea of lunch "in the garden"... but we hadn't realised that we'd a view of the harbour too. A steak sandwich and a bowl of mussels and chips later....we left absolutely delighted with our lunch-time restaurant. Great food, very personable and courteous staff... highly recommended.

It’s Tapas dishes, each dish is expensive, we were 3 guys so we ordered 7 dishes to share. The bread, olive oil, humous was a joke. 2 slices of very ordinary bread, a small pot of humous ( buy better in Tescos ) The smoked mackerel fish I expected better, 4 very small pieces of smoked mackerel and a bit of pickled red cabbage. I could go on about every dish. Very very small portions. Mistake we ordered 3 desserts. I had probably the worst, cheapest ice cream I’ve ever eaten. ( all crunchy with ice in it ). We left hungry.

Really tasty food! And all the staff were very nice and helpful. Staff were honest about food waiting times which I really appreciated. Looks a little expensive on the outside but the quality and the taste we got is worth what we paid. Thank you!

Have been to Falmouth on a number of occasions over the years but never tried this restaurant. What a great find it was today. Three steak sandwiches which were absolutely delicious. The caramelised onions with hint of garlic really brought out something special with the rump steak and the chips were perfect too. Very friendly staff and it was good to have some interaction with all of them. Keep up the good work and service. Highly recommended!! Peter

Staff couldn't have been nicer or more attentive. Food was absolutely divine, mussels, calamari and steak all perfectly cooked. A pleasure to go here for lunch, beautiful views and Al fresco dining to cap it all off. So good, can't fault it at all 😊

This was our second visit to the Lookout and we felt that it may be under different management. This is a tapas place and whilst the food was good we were not as impressed as on our first visit. We ordered the recommended 5 dishes plus 2 sides, which was more than enough food for 2 adults but service seemed rushed compared with out last visit and the dishes came out too quickly which meant that some of the hot dishes were cooling whilst eating others. The Lookout is fairly casual although as there aren't many tables I would recommend booking. Be warned if you don't like food too spicy you may want to think carefully about ordering the pork balls and Jerk chicken. The beef sliders were very good, quality burgers.

We had not booked and called in on the off chance of a table - successfully. One of us needed a gluten free meal and the team could not have been more helpful in identifying all of the options. The meal itself was quite delicious, the service attentive and quick given a busy lunchtime. This restaurant does not advertise itself as a specialist in GF yet they had a significant depth of knowledge and understanding. They do good food and do it really well. Thank you for what you did for us.

Thank you for a great family supper. Service was, as usual, excellent and tapas, mussels, prawns, steak, pork patties, jerk chicken, and fries. All washed down with an excellent red. Our son loved it. Views to die for - Carrick Roads and Roseland. Who needs to go on holiday? We'll be back. Thanks all.

Staff were all nice and friendly. For food we had a kids burger which was very small, came on its own on a big plate, no fries or salad, the bun was burned so very dry, the burger it's self was too thick and was burned on the outside and pink in the middle, overall it was very dry my child couldn't eat it. Halloumi and red pepper flat bread was nice but so simple it could have been whipped up in 2 mins from lidl ingredients, no still required. Crab sandwich was tasty, well seasoned but small quantity of crab the bread was the main feature. Overall £40 + quid for a disappointing lunch, felt like an expensive mistake for us to make, not fair value.

We phoned up on Friday night and asked for a table in the next 15 mins… and to our delight, they were able to accommodate us. Great service from the moment we arrived, wonderful view over the bay from our table and great tapas style food for us to share and nibble on. Was perfect for our first night in Falmouth whilst the rain drizzled outside.

Not for Coeliac's (strict gluten free) unless you're content with a sandwich while you watch your family eat a lovely looking meal! At least they are honest about using a shared fryer therefore you don't have to risk no cross contamination but leave hungry. Shame.

Got breakfast on a Sunday. Nice view and drinks were good and staff are friendly but food was incredibly average. Had a very pricey smashed avocado on sourdough with poached eggs. They ran out of sourdough and the poached eggs were definitely more hard boiled. My friend ordered extra mushrooms and was given a single mushroom. Not sure if it’s because it’s a Sunday but would advise coming at a different time or not at all

Walked past here so many times, keep meaning to try it out, so maybe my expectations were too high. Went for brunch, eggs benedict was good (according to husband), avocado on toast with poached eggs was average (hence 4 stars). Coffee good. Great views if you get one of the two tables by the window. They have a pleasant looking outdoor area.

Wonderful tapas 😍 Scallops, mussels, steak shared with my wife, she had the duck I had the jerk chicken. Food excellent, just about enough food to keep you going. Seafood platter was great and at £54 good value for money for 2 people. Sat inside and had a window seat looking out over the harbour. Staff friendly and welcoming. Note closes mid afternoon suggest booking, we didn't and had a nice meal Visited the Lookout again 11 months after my initial visit, again for lunch, however the seafood platter enjoyed was not available. On asking we were advised that it would be from the end of July. I had the jerk chicken, if you don't like hot food this is best avoided, but I do an found it quite authentic in heat and flavour. My wife had the muscles, a few of which hadn't opened, in my view these should be removed in the kitchen. Generally though quality and flavour were all good but if you're looking for the seafood platter, make sure it's available Tables were all being cleaned between customers.

Excellent Tapas, service, staff and atmosphere. Chef cooked a prawn dish especially to suit my allergies. Fillet steak was melt in the mouth. Everything cooked fresh and brought to the table as it was ready. Scallops were cooked to perfection and good sized portion. 👌 All brilliant.

Yes, back for lunch at The Lookout. First outdoor lunch this year and it was great. Owners, Mike and Jude are always so welcoming and their chef obviously knows what to do, well done. We were 3 and 2 had Mussels and Fries which were wonderful, I had Hake with Tomato and Beans and Mussels = Wow, it was brilliant. Well done all, hopefully see you again soon.

Breakfasts were OK, prices were a little high but it's tourist tax. I left off mushroom and the tomatoes so plate was a little sparse, asked for white toast but told it was brown, so lost the toast. Yet another member of the group had fried bread... white bread??? Strange.
