Great restaurant with plenty of menu choices including sharing platters, vegetarian and vegan options. Reasonably priced and good quality.

Poor service. Really bad food. Missing food and refused to take money off the bill. Honestly this isn't even an exaggeration, Kayla was so rude to us. Never going back.

Visited Sunday 14th April around 17:50hrs with expectation of having Sunday Roasts. Firstly I was told there was no stuffing (for roasts) nor chips (but fries available, weirdly) so took menus to decide food. Then got told that no Sunday Roasts now available. Chose 2 main courses, Hunters Chicken & Beef Lasagne. Hunters Chicken was slightly overcooked & therefore bit dry. Lasagne was ok; but just ok with no significant flavour. Our table (No3 at Longshore Shoreham-By-Sea had just been cleaned but was still extremely sticky to touch. Very unpleasant. A pint glass was provided for a bottled beer but the glass was smeared, with light-white marks on it. Totally unacceptable & changed. BUT, shouldn't have been provided in the first place. An extremely underwhelming experience & cannot recommend this venue.

Haven't been to the Longshore for a long time, due to food not being that good. Went yesterday as we had a 30% off voucher,so thought we would give it another chance. 2 half roast chicken dinners, beautifully presented, red cabbage, broccoli, carrots, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, pigs in blankets, tasty gravy. Mum had sirloin steak cooked to perfection, onion rings, peas, chips, mushroom. Service was excellent. Well done Longshore for upping your game. We will return.

The Sunday roast was disappointing. It included a single boiled carrot, a small portion of broccoli, tasteless meat, and gravy that seemed to be made from granules. Instead of cranberry sauce, we were served strawberry jam. My partner ordered the hunter's chicken, which appeared to resemble a microwaved meal from Iceland. I usually refrain from leaving negative reviews, but this experience was a significant letdown. I am adding one star because the staff was nice and friendly.

If you don't care about your weight or heart health, and want somewhere noisy to take the kids then this is the place for you. Nothing on the menu that appealed, but came away smelling of fried food even though we decided not to eat here. The only good point was the Shipwright AF IPA and the helpful bar staff who served me.

The food was very good however they had run out of a lot of food on the menu,fish,mixed grill,salads,pizzas,the wait time was over an hour for food.i booked a table for 6 people but on arrival I was informed that there was no booking even though I showed the lady my booking confirmation,she explained that they only reserve tables for large bookings so we would have to find a table free,that should not be the idea,luckily enough we found one but what if we had not.also food was missing that we ordered so we had that come at the end of our meal which is not ideal.it seems a bit like nothing was running smoothly and I think if you do not keep running out of food you would be even busier.its not the first time that you run out of dishes it's happened before on many occasions.also trying to get a drink is hard so when you are in the queue your food gets cold.

I've only been there during the day, so I can't say what it's like in the evening but the atmosphere is very comfortable and the staff are lovely, The food is very good for a pub and very reasonably priced with generous helpings, The toilets are very clean, and it has Disabled access, It also has 2 fast 50kW charging points right outside For Your EV 👍

We took our 4 year old son for breakfast to meet the easter bunny on April 1st. Breakfast was great and our son was very excited to meet the bunny. He really loved it and he was given an easter egg and did some pottery painting which he really enjoyed. All staff were very friendly and happy. Will be back there very soon for dinner. Thank you all for the lovely experience and memory making.

We often eat at the Longshore during the week, but hadn’t visited on a Saturday evening for a long time. It was very busy, but were shown to our table & served quickly by Gavin. The food took a while, but it didn’t matter as we were happy to sit & chat & have a drink. Our meals were served hot & all three of us enjoyed our different dishes. All the staff are brilliant & work hard as a team, but Gavin was extra brilliant tonight.

Front of house were so kind and helpful. Karen zoe and Aston. The chefs did great food thanks to Liam and Scott. Will be back!!

The welcome was pleasant. The price and selection of food is good. My order had something that was not available and the waiter came to talk to me about it and offered an alternative - very good service with everything. Highlighted an allergy and this was accommodated too. Will definitely be returning and recommending.

Love coming to the Longshore, we are always welcomed with open arms and the staff are always friendly and make sure you have everything you need. It’s great for children, there is a play area, pool table etc! The food is really tasty and great value for money 😊

Popped over quite late on the off chance hoping for some food, as I arrived I saw there was a couple of functions so wasn't holding my breath, I was told I could order food despite how busy they were, food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious, hot and great portion sizes, I couldn't even finish! staff were very accomodating and friendly, we decided to stay for drinks after and had one of the best evenings ever, Karen the new manager has turned this place around. the atmosphere is great, it use to be a place for cheap food and now its great food and also a great place for catching up with friends and having a drink a few games of pool whether that's an after work meet or a night out with friends or family. 10/10 from me will definitely return.

Initially slow to order as very busy and limited staff. However, the young lady at the bar was very polite and efficient. This was continued by Gavin who served us and was attentive to our requirements, did a great job. A great meal and overall visit, will recommend to others.

I visited here on the recommendation from my brother whom we were visiting that day. The Longshore is a great place to visit for a meal, and or drinks. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had super tasty meals, drinks and pudding. There is a massive selection of beverages from alcohol, mixers, fruit juices, squash, lagers, wines, ale and hot drinks too! The restaurant has big spacious areas, where you can either sit in a quiet corner, or be social and play pool, darts, watch live sports and play boardgames. There is a children's area too, with kids TV on, and plenty for your children to be entertained by, toy wise. There is also a garden, with a child friendly area. I highly recommend you visit this place when in The Shoreham by Sea area.

I booked my mum’s 80th “surprise” birthday party with Karen the manager. She was absolutely wonderful & so helpful, even offering to adapt to my needs of the room. The day was perfect, the party was amazing and the staff were absolutely fabulous. Very friendly and very helpful. The food was great & presented beautifully. I would 100% recommend The Longshore for parties & get togethers.The outside area is great for kids & lots of space for adults to keep check on them. Very reasonably priced too, as other venues I had checked out were asking for £1000 plus!

Karen and the team accommodated our team with an area to have a quick staff meeting with tea and coffees before our staff lunch. The service was excellent, friendly and efficient. The menu is extensive and the really tasty food was served in a timely manner. A big thank you to Karen and the team for making our first trip to the Longshore a great first class experience. We look forward to returning.

The food was very nice but the service was very slow. We waited for more than 30 minutes for our desserts and I had to go and chase for them. When the waitress delivered them she told us she didn’t know the order had gone through!

Was a lovely meal and gavin was just outstanding. Not only did he give us the warmest welcome I’ve ever had but he checked on us regularly, knew what was and wasn’t on the menu, knew the soup that was on special and gave lots of attention to detail. He made the atmosphere perfect. Thank you gavin.

Food was very good, service was excellent and friendly reasonably priced

My family and I had a meal last night we ordered several pizzas, I could not fault them, considering I'm not a pizza lover. The service was really professional, our waiter for the evening I believe his name was Aston, he was very attentive and considerate, I like the fact he interacted with my children and made them laugh. Our whole journey starts to finish was a really lovely evening, were looking forward to coming back next week.

Pub grub it's a chain but better than some other local chain pub food.

Ordered Hunters Chicken, had to ask for more BBQ sauce as there was a drizzle on top and not smothered as described, also lacking in cheese there was some but again not as described, tasted ok, asked for more BBQ and a pot was brought out. Ordered a baileys latte but no baileys. Staff were apologetic.

For the prices you are now charging it is very disappointing to be dished up a Cowboy burger with one of the burgers to be burnt around the edges and presented on an enamel plate that was all chipped. In comparison to other similar establishments in Shoreham by sea I think you fall well short .

Bar staff good, food came out quicker than we were told at ordering which was positive. Ordered roast beef and a lasagne. Beef was tough, potatoes soggy and gravy oily. Lasagne was ok but forgettable. Part of the meal didn’t arrive before we’d finished but they dealt with our complaint and refund v efficiently at the bar.

Had a lovely lunch here with my parents. Will be coming back! 🐖

Very friendly staff,dog friendly and reasonable prices, especially at the moment with offers they have on. Good choice of veggie/vegan food and portions of an adequate size. Would come again as has a nice atmosphere.

2nd time visiting with my elderly mother, easy access for her, incredibly friendly but professional team serving and superb quality food, our order was taken with required changes and the meals came in perfectly as ordered. Good burger but poor choice of beer (bitter) just the one. Not good for a Friday night.

To start with the room was cold, we asked to sit by a radiator but it went after about 20 mins. My latte came in a chipped glass and I had to send it back. The food wasn't piping hot and because the room was cold, the food cooled quickly. All the staff were great

I come every Thursday for the steak deal whilst I charge my car on their electric chargers. The team always make me feel welcome and i Love the fact as a single female I always feel safe.

Went on a Tuesday night. Quiet lovely evening. Food was excellent and was ready really quickly. Easy to get a parking space. Easy to get to and find.

Waiting staff very helpful. Good to see that they cater for allergies and gluten intolerance. Family friendly and do a Sunday roast. They could probably do with a few more staff.
