We sat outside as we had our dog with us when ordering food the lady kindly asked if we wanted water for the dog much appreciated. We had a cheese and onion melt and a cheese and beans jacket with two teas both meals were delicious and clearly made fresh to order.

The Singing Kettle

18/08/2018: It is what it is !! Real home cooked food !! Nowt fancy and real Yorkshire tea !! Best breakfast in Whitby and opens at 5.30 am !! This place gets right busy and rightly so !! Two breakfast, tea, toast, bread and butter for £11.00 now that’s a right Bobby dazzler.
21/08/2018: This doesn't look much from the outside. But your insides wont be disappointed!! The breakfast baps were amazing!! The tea was a proper Yorkshire Cup of tea. The place was busy but with plenty of staff cooking some amazing breakfasts it didn't take long to get served and we were very satisfied with the generous portions.

Ditto Restaurant

26/08/2018: We visited for a family celebration meal recently and had an excellent evening. The service was good, and unrushed and the menu choices interesting and tasty. Ingredients were very fresh and used in unusual combinations which worked for us. Overall the dishes were special, but also the portions of a good size. Great value for such good quality. Booking essential.
12/11/2018: We visited this delightful restaurant for the first time over the weekend. The food is sublime to say the least. There is a set menu for two courses and the choices are great. My Husband had a starter of mackerel followed by belly pork which he thoroughly enjoyed. I didn't have a starter but chose a main course of coley which was delightful followed by probably the best sticky toffee pudding I have ever tasted! All the dishes are cooked to order and we liked the added touches . The restaurant is small but cosy and you keep the table for the whole evening. It is advisable to book a table, especially at the weekend, I booked months ago. The service is exemplary and there is a good choice of wine. Would highly recommend and will certainly return. Competitive prices. Thankyou Ditto.
