Was pleasantly surprised to find the shop in the village when we arrived. We stayed in this gorgeous village for a week and with the nearest supermarket at least 20 mins away this was perfect. Ran by the community it was buzzing and had all you need for a week away. Lots of local produce and staples. Also acts as a coffee shop and was always buzzing. We even passed one evening and they must have had something on. Lovely people and a great thing to do, especially in a village to keep people connected.

Called into this shop twice whilst on holiday on the Gower. First time just to buy some local veg and ice cream. Second time for coffee and cake (actually our intention was to have had a cream tea but they'd run out). Veg and ice creams were excellent. So were coffee and cake. But to crown it all fresh scones arrived whilst we were having our coffee. Scones looked so good and big we had them to take away so had our cream tea. Couldn't fault this shop excellent home made food and great friendly atmosphere. A must visit when on the Gower.

There was plenty of seating either inside or out front in the small garden. A pot of tea, a caffetiere of coffee and 2 cakes was c£7. We bought ours to take-away for lunch and they happily put it straight into our lunchboxes to avoid wasting take-away packaging which would only have gone straight in the bin. What a credit to the volunteers who run this community run shop, post office and café. Great selection of local produce for sale as well as all the usual essentials. We called in last week having found this place last year and both had a superb cream tea, sat outside enjoying the beautiful weather. Staff are very pleasant and efficient.Well done to all concerned, keep up the good work.

The corned beef pasty and the cheese, onion and leek pasty were delicious. Followed by coffee and walnut cake and an almond slice. Very nice atmosphere for a coffee shop and the staff were all very friendly.

Not really a restaurant but a delightful tea and coffee shop with a fantastic range of home-made cakes and pastries. The corned beef pastie was the best I've had anywhere and the rhubarb and custard cake was different and delicious. It is also the local shop and post-office.

Siop Y Bobl relocated to new building in 2013 and its now established as the heart of the Llanmadoc. It staff by volunteers from the village and is doubles up as village shop and cafe.We stopped for a coffee, but were temped by the impressive range of cakes. My mother and I had Earl Grey Tea with cream and jam scones, and my 5 yr old son a meat pie and a carton orange juice (the juice only costing 29p !)There is plenty of outdoor seating and a cark park around the back. Everything was very relaxed and friendly. When came to settle up we broused the shop and added some local eggs, cheese and jam to our bill.Don't give 5 star lightly but its a lovely place, run by volunteers and would recommend

If this is the community shop in Llanmadoc, which I think it is, it was a wonderful find. It is run by the local community, who make the most wonderful cakes and pasties - the brownies were to die for. We sat with our coffee and cake last Saturday, enjoying the lovely view, and the only problem was which cake to choose. It's a 'not run for profit' type shop so the prices were reasonable and there was everything you needed to make a meal.

My fiance and visited for lunch after a day out at the local garden centre and we were delighted with the amazing customer service we were given by the wonderful Elena (I hope I am spelling it right).
