The Leopard in Warwick

Our first visit - we’d heard lots of positive feedback and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Good service, decent choice of meals and good value overall.

The staff were lovely and the pub had a great "vibe".

Food was good, had the little private room for a family meal, which was a bonus. I had a really nice pie, most of the others had the Leopard burger and the pork belly looked lovely. I am not a dessert fan, so I can't comment on that. Nicely decorated, staff were pleasant. Only gripe would be that we didn't get any of the starters that we had pre-ordered, shame as I was looking forward to mine but obviously didn't get charged for them. Apart from that, I couldn't fault the place

Booked a table of 4 for mothering Sunday. We all enjoyed a roast dinner, one vegetarian Wellington, one beef and two chicken. A lot of choice on the menu to suit all! The food was exceptional, the service was second to none and the atmosphere was spot on. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, would recommend in a heartbeat.

Popped in for lunch with the team from work. Good choice of food and service was quick and friendly. Lots of outdoor seating for when the weather is warmer.

Not my first review of The Leopard over the years, but after 4 months away it was great to have dinner there again and it did not disappoint. A warm, lively atmosphere, friendly staff, good choice of dishes and excellent food! I also appreciated the 25%off for email subscribers in Jan and Feb. The tortellini was fantastic- fresh, tasty and a very generous portion. Sadly I didn’t have room for pudding, but the coffee was great and came with a nice cantucci biscuit. The pub looked so welcoming with all the lights on and from what I could see in the evening light, the outdoor areas are as well kept as ever. This will always feel like my ‘local’, even though I now live far away and I look forward to my next visit and sitting outside in summer. Delighted to see it is still as good as ever!

Loved the dog friendly welcome. Staff are attentive/professional/caring/fun and very warm. Locals using the venue are also warm/welcoming and engaging. Worth a visit.

We booked a table this afternoon. They took the booking, we turned up and our table was reserved. 25 minutes later we hadn’t even been offered a drink let alone had a food order taken. If you haven’t got the staff, don’t accept a booking.

Went for a wake. Buffet food was very good with a wide choice. Beer, had Butty Bach, excellent and the staff were attentive and friendly.

Just got home from a family meal to celebrate my daughters birthday. The food & service were superb. The staff were attentive but not overbearing & we didn't have to wait too long for our meals to be served. Will definitely be back & recommend

Great food and service, well worth a visit

Sadly, we were there for a wake, but the venue was wonderful. A beautiful place, with really helpful staff and delicious food which covered all dietary requirements. I will be going back for sure!

Visited after a long walk with my dog- first impression ‘Cold’ - had a log burner but heat was confined to only at the sofa in front of it - Dog friendly tables in ‘extension’ by toilets were cold - might as well sat outside in the 1 degree weather Staff indifferent- although seemed very friendly with their locals.

Iv travelled from Australia to realise this is a first class pub with first class service and food, oh and the beer is superb.

Visited just before Christmas and had a very poor 'Festive' lunch. Piled up on the edge of the plate were a couple of slices of turkey, 4 small, limp, roast potatoes, a few burnt edged tiny batons of carrot and what we think may have been a parsnip, the tiniest sprouts ever seen and, even worse, they were cut in half (about a spoonful)! Two tiny, little, pigs in blankets and a small slice of stuffing. The portion was very meagre and the quality was not good. It was really disappointing as we had been recommended to this pub by friends who said they had a great meal there the previous week and that the portions were quite generous, in fact, they said they weren't able to eat it all! We went home still feeling peckish! We note that the Leopard generally has good reviews, however, inconsistency would seem to be a problem in a lot of pubs. You just don't know what you're going to get, just depends on the day. We think they may have been running short of food on our visit as there had been a lot of people in the restaurant area whilst we were there (?). It's a shame as it has put us off chancing a meal there again.

Visited with my partner who has been many times and absolutely raves about this place. Unfortunately, not a great experience this time round. Battered fish was soggy like it has been frozen/ cooked in cold oil and completely tasteless. Beef Ragu completely missed the mark, very watery - seemed like it was whipped in 5 mins with sauce from a jar. As I said, only heard good things about The Leopard from others but must of caught it on a bad night for food. As always service was very kind and the inside has a great feel to it. Thank you.

First time here to meet up with brother and sister in law for lunch 21.12.23 Place was busy, I put this down to festive season. First impressions were favourable. Warm greeting and as much time as we needed to decide on our order. Food arrived. Oh dear frozen oily deep fried calamari, not brilliant but edible, main course arrived , again not brilliant but edible. When the side order of onion rings eventually arrived half way through main course, oily and pretty gross to be honest. I wasn't in the mood to raise any issues because I suspect this is as good as it gets here. Won't be running back anytime soon personally but my brother and sister in law live locally and think it's OK. In summary I would urge you to try this venue for yourself and not make your choice based on my comments. Who knows, maybe we just caught them on an off day! I went for a late lunch at the Leopard today as a treat for my partners birthday. I had the chicken liver parfait as a starter. It was huge. It was about the same size as when you buy in the supermarket. It was delicious and I did enjoy it. The other half had the soup, which again was a large bowl of very flavourful. I was getting a little worried about the size of meals the main dishes would be having looked at other tables meal. When my came out, it was indeed plentyful, but again delicious. I had to ask for a "doggy bag", which our little dog loved on our return home. Very friendly and helpful staff. My thanks to the chefs for providing such high quality food with the amount of customers that were in the place at the time. It now out "go to place for food". Great place, great staff and superb food. 10 out of 10

It was my daughter’s 4th birthday and we decided to go out for a meal. The food was really good and didn’t take too long to come out. We ordered desserts and when they brought out my daughter ice cream they went the extra mile and put a candle in it and sang her happy birthday. Only reason I gave them 4 stars is when it came to getting the bill they were a bit slow but they were understandable busy due to festive season. Thank you to the staff at The leopard .

Great food, good portions and presented well. Staff very attentive and Christmas decorations were beautiful, tables nicely spaced apart for intimacy.

Really good food and very friendly staff

16 of us went from my local gym as Christmas get together and couldn't fault the food or service. Food all came out together and was absolutely delicious and very good portion sizes. Staff were very pleasant and always around to check if we needed anything. Would 100% recommend The Leopard and will certainly be returning soon.

8 of us came here for lunch having enjoyed lunch here last year. The food and service was as good as last year. Highly recommended.

Eight of us came here for lunch, having enjoyed our meal here last year. Lunch this year was equally good. My wife and I shared 2 starters: the salt and chilli squid and the bruschetta. Both were very tasty. She had the creamy chicken, leek and bacon pie and I had the fish pie. Both were delicious and the fish pie had a hard-boiled egg inside which I've never had before in a fish pie. The reasonably priced bottle of Chardonnay was a good choice with the food.

Went for Sunday lunch with family. The food was amazing and plentiful. A little expensive but good value for money. Although it was very busy, the service was good and the tables were being cleared and cleaned quickly. Plenty of room to park. A very good selection of drinks including 3 draft ales. Would definitely visit again.

I had a wonderful 3 course meal on Saturday afternoon. Everything was so delicious, especially the Fish Pie! I couldnt rate it high enough. The staff were very attentive and friendly too. I live local to The Leopard and have never had a bad meal or service there. Will definitely be back again soon.

Always excellent - staff lovely and food excellent. Grateful to have such a lovely pub and restaurant so close to home. It’s the small details that make the food great here, like their choice of micro-coriander leafs to garnish to delicious carrot soup.

Best salad wedge and chips I've ever eaten it was delicious. Also, it was really great when we came here for the wake after a funeral, and there was a massive group of us all in there for a buffet of food.

My second visit for a Sunday roast at the Leopard Inn and top drawer once again! Brilliant service and delicious food - so well presented too. Highly recommended.

Visited on Sunday for roast. Sides are good but you get only 2 thin slice of beef and half of them not chewable Quite large outside space, great for a drink.

Surprisngly really good! Came here last minute as walk-ins on a Saturday night and food was really great. Chef adapted a meal for me due to being pregnant and it was delicious. The staff were si welcoming and friendly, with service being completely on point. A rarity these days! We have since realised this chain old spot have some pubs nesr where we live so we will visit! Great evening meal

This was a wake for my Uncle and it could not have been in a more beautiful place to have this held a great day for remembrance and remernissing great food and service was outstanding

Just had Sunday lunch which was really nice, veg was nicely cooked, plates and food was hot, brought extra gravy. Only negative was I had the beef and had to plough through the fat, my husband had pork which he said was really good.

Recommended by a colleague, did not disappoint. Food was excellent, great choice, maybe too much choice. Staff were all excellent, managed to visit twice in the week I was in the area, will definitely come back on my next trip to the area.

The Leopard was recommended to us by a regular diner and although the food was very good the service was woeful. Staff were very pleasant once you could find one but they were either unexpectedly busy or just badly organised.

We've just help a post-funeral buffet here, and it was excellent. The service, food, attitude and price were all excellent. I can see why so many funeral parties come here after the service at Oakley Crematorium.

Visited The Leopard during the week previously so we thought we'd try a Sunday Roast. The service was excellent. Although there was a large birthday party as well as the restaurant being busy our order was taken quickly and efficiently. The meals were served promptly and hot. There was a problem with the lighting and once mentioned to a member of staf we were immediately transferred to a different table by a very friendly and apologetic young lady. Definitely this will be our Sunday treat. Xxxd

Great meal, great atmosphere!We’ve always liked eating here, but the quality of food has really stepped up over the last few months. Really interesting dishes and a pudding menu that is so much more existing than the predictable array served everywhere else. Dishes were really nicely presented as well.I had the red lentil curry and despite a lifelong aversion to lentils, was glad I took the chance. The pakoras were amazing- flavoursome and perfectly fried. The fish and chips with thin fries was up there with the best we’ve had. Nice, thin crispy batter and delicious matchstick fries. The micro greens were a nice touch and the mushy peas have always been good. The pie was tasty and homemade with a wonderful crispy shortcrust top. We were spoilt for choice with puddings. The brûlée was smooth and creamy with a perfect crispy top and it was nice to have a flavoured one (white choc and passion fruit) when so many restaurants only do plain. The pistachio shortbreads were great! Service was friendly and efficient and there was a cosy, cheery atmosphere. We loved the Halloween decorations. They are brilliant!! The outdoor area is looking really good too.So pleased to see the place doing so well and we look forward to our next visit.

When planning our wedding we knew that we would love something small and intimate but still had that wedding/ special day feeling and the team and pub did not disappoint! We had a couple of meetings with Kane before hand to discuss the food that we would like and the chef came up with a menu and costing per person which was very reasonable and amazing portions and quality of food for the price paid. On the day of the wedding the staff decorated the tables and lay out the room to our request with the help of a family friend, the food was out promptly with everyone saying how lovely it was (there was also a very nice vegetarian option), staff were all lovely and always checking that everything was ok. Thank you so much for making our day so special, we can’t wait to come back again soon.

A light late afternoon supper with a good friend who lives nearby. friendly welcome, attentive and professional staff. Had the seabass which was light and tasty, with asseitte dessert to finish which was sublime Only issue was a slightly leaking extractor directly above my seat, which was due to the heavy rain outside. not the venues fault really, and the manager apologised when pointed out. This did not impact on the quality of the experience.

We visited for a quiet birthday celebration Sunday lunch . The restaurant itself has a lovely ambiance and we received a warm welcome . Our lunch was served quickly and the service was exemplary . When booking I hadn’t mentioned that we had anything to celebrate but our hostess noticed that there were some birthday cards on our table and after a bit of sign language where the birthday boy couldn’t see , I confirmed it was ! He was given a fabulous rendition of happy birthday from all the staff ( and me lol) along with a candle in his Bakewell tart ! Now that’s a great hostess ! By the way , the food was fabulous too Well done all , we’ll be back soon

Lovely modern decor. Staff were friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Food was delicious and great value.
