Amazing place and food was absolutely delicious and very satisfying......all the staff were so friendly and welcoming and they went all out for our service and made sure we had everything ! We visted on holiday and will definitely be returning and damm shame we only found this place on out last night as plenty on menu would liked to have tryed after the amazing food we had on our vist ! Definitely worth the money as u definitely get what u pay for amd much more ❤️❤️ !!!! Thank u all at locan arms.....we will see u again 👌👌

Had a meal here before we scattered my Aunt's ashes on the beach and the staff were friendly and accomodating and the food was good.

A massive thank you to Lorna and her staff for making my daughter’s 40th birthday celebration very special. The food was amazing and such friendly staff couldn’t do enough for us . Highly recommend such a warm welcome and definitely be going again .

Well, a mother's day treat... Sunday carvery visit with family... Seated and served quickly by very friendly and attentative staff...The carvery is huge with a great selection of meats and vegetarian options, loads of veg to choose from and the added treat of cauliflower cheese and cheesy mash... All our food was very tasty... For desert we had trifle and lemon and rose meringue, yum yum.... This busy large pub is busy and run like a military operation.. Very highly recommended +aaa

Just visited today for mothers day carvery. Even though we arrived slightly early we were seated straight away, all staff very friendly. Mum's even received a handmade gift, The dining area was decorated with lights and mothers day balloon really added to the atmosphere the food was great we will definitely be back was well worth the journey Thank you Lorna and team.

We stopped here on a cold day to have a drink and warm up. The staff were nice. We just missed Sunday lunch but managed to get a dessert, which was nice. We will be back if ever in the area 😊

This is our second visit to lacon arms. As we live local we thought would give it a try.The carvery was lovely, food was lovely & hot. We went for a Chinese banquet evening. Again food was amazing. Staff was friendly, made us feel welcome. Highly recommend.See you all very soon.

First time for a carvery at the lacon arms absolutely delicious best carvery I’ve ever had food well seasoned onion gravy as a choice creamy mash honey parsnips seasoned roast potatoes.staff very friendly and helpful will certainly be back .

We recently had dinner here at a "party style" night with friends and really enjoyed it. The staff were welcoming , efficient and worked their socks off all night. The catering was outstanding especially when you consider the sheer amount of choice. Again,staff serving the food were excellent - as was the food. Definitely recommend The Lacon Arms for a good night out or for really good food. A

This place is great for a quick pint or a family meal. The food is always great and the speciality nights are Brill too. The Lacon Arms team is always friendly and welcoming, making any visit a great one.

Went last night for a works Xmas party. Excellent night. Food was lovely and there was lots of different choices and staff were lovely. Fab night and highly recommended.

I have dined here before but yesterday was our Chapel Christmas Meal. Sadly one of our party was taken poorly just before we sat down but Lorna and her team swung into action, organised and unflappable, defib in and call to the ambulance. Lorna was constantly updating us on progress and making sure we all had refreshments while awaiting the outcome. The ambulance took our dear friend to hospital and we were ushered into the lovely large function room where another table had been laid for us. We found out later that even the chef had been involved in first-aiding bless him, I have to commend them all. Our meal was really lovely-no stinting on portions here and the choice of vegetables was eye-popping. Three beautiful courses thoroughly enjoyed and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be booking our Christmas Meal here next year. But I shall still be coming back for more until then. Blessings to Lorna and her marvellous staff!!!

We have been going to the lacon arms for many years since our boys were little . One of our boys and his partner chose lacon Arms LA lounge for their wedding reception. Lorna and all the staff who decorated the room , served drinks the chef steve and all those serving the food did an amazing job . Nothing was too much trouble and lorna was an amazing host. All the staff were friendly kind and so thoughtful . We would highly recommend the lacon arms for any occasion. Thank you

Food looked lovely shame we didn't enjoy it .. Sunday lunch we had mear which was under cooked and the vegetables were rock hard i left most of it had a desert which sounded lovely but in theory was a basic mousse type dessert when it said strawberry and clotted cream tart I expected a tart not a mousse in a glass £16.00 for 2 course for 1 def overpriced

Popped in here for some food with the children. Decent grub, not anything special. Filled a requirement. The site and staff were really great. Fast friendly and efficient. Think they just need to turn up the standard on food and it would be standout... nothing wrong with the food but its a forgettable experience from the food aspect.

Attended a wedding at your venue yesterday (21/10) and would like to say what a lovely day we had. The venue was beautiful and the food amazing. The staff were brilliant even the chefs coming out to see if we had enjoyed the food. The whole day really was lovely. Thank you all. Never been before but will certainly be back🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The food looked okay but wasn't the best, fish and chips were greasy and the cucumber was rancid on the children's meals, not value for money at £76 for 4 two adults and children.

We went here with 4 friends as a walk in, not sure if we would get to eat, but they got us in for a Sunday Roast Carvery. Have to mention how accommodating and friendly the staff were. The place itself is massive and lovely seating areas. We all had a carvery consisting of 2 meats- turkey and beef, plus all trimmings. The food was amazing and meats were mouth watering. There were a lot of people here but the service was excellent and the family run pub seem to be on top of their game. One of the best carvery I have had in a long time. Definitely be back.

Fantastic customer service . Oh the Sunday Buffett was absolutly amazing and the desert was to die for . Love it here . If you want a great place to eat go along you will love it and there’s even a kids menu ♥️♥️

Food and drink here was really nice with friendly service. The music was good without being so loud that you can't have a conversation. Only issue is it's quite expensive.

Ordered chicken and ribs combo the chicken was off so much that you could smell it and the taste was bad the rest of the meal was straight out a box in the freezer after complaining they did not even reply or come back with a apology not worthy of serving food too busy talking to each other

We didn't try the food but the beer was well-kept and the bar staff were very friendly. The place had a good atmosphere and, importantly to us, was dog-friendly

This is the one place you cannot miss in Hemsby the food staff and managers are class 1 5 star's for price and friendly service

Once again absolutely amazing food. We loved the Indian night last week so much, that we went to the Chinese night last night. The food tastes just like you would get at any authentic Indian or Chinese restaurant, for a fraction of the price. Always a warm and friendly welcome, for you and your fur babies. The carvery wasn't very nice the meat was lush the veg was hard the roast potatoes tasted like they was cooked the day before the Stuffing balls where hard as well as the Yorkshire pudding also every carvery I've been to your allowed to go up and grab more veg I was told nope 1 time only but the dessert oh yes 100% beautiful

Meat was delicious. Cauliflower cheese too hard could not cut. Roast potatoes tasted like they had been reheated. The staff were amazing friendly and attentive. Just a shame about the veg. Would certainly give it another try in the hope that the veg had improved

Friendly bunch of staff running a busy pub. Been told food is good, never right time for us to eat but we’ll get to it soon. Drinks are served swiftly and on a nice day there’s plenty of seating out back and in rear garden with park for the little ones to enjoy.

The Lacon Arms hosted our wedding last Saturday. We would like to thank Launa, Sian and all the staff for the absolutely fantastic job they did making our day so very special. The layout of the venue was stunning and the attention to detail was incredible. The food for both the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet exceeded our expectations. All of our guests were looked after meticulously. Together with the fact that the venue lent itself perfectly to the ceremony, We can say that we would recommend The LA Lounge to anybody who is considering getting married there. I had a pint of Guinness, and it was perfect. Unfortunately the pub is run by kids, one of whom was terrible (didn't care attitude) also no or very little atmosphere. Didn't eat here.

Always spend a week in hemsby every year. First time we've used the restaurant, can't believe it's taken us so long. Food is 1st class, staff are absolutely amazing and atmosphere is great. Will definitely be back.

What a wonderful pub only popped in for one drink after the beach and stayed all afternoon. Dog friendly and wonderful staff. We only had a bowl of chips to snack on which were really good. Music playing outside which was nice

Have been to the Sunday carvery here many times whilst staying in Hemsby and always had a great meal however this time felt very disappointed as the beef although very rare was grizzly and tough and not convinced the roast potatoes were fresh as tasted...

Couldn't fault this at all, good pub grub

Although we hadn't booked the manageress went above and beyond to find our family of 6 a table, we only had to wait 15 minutes until we were seated, in the meantime we were shown to the garden where the children were delighted to find a lovely pirate ship to play on.

Lorna and her team are amazing! We came in with a group of 15 and nothing could be faulted!!! Food all came out at once, piping hot, all orders correct. Add to that friendly service and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Excellent quality food for a very fair price. Will definitely return!!!

My husband and myself stayed in hemsby, we found this pub and ate in there everyday The location is right near the beach, service is great, owner is a really a lovely lady, who is always making sure her customers are happy with everything. She has an amazing team of chefs, every meal we had was so delicious, especially the prawn and scallop linguine. Would definitely give this pub a visit if you are in hemsby. We will be returning.

Large pub right on the road towards the beach. Big menu for food and drink, reasonably priced. Huge outdoor seating area to grab a pint on the way back from the beach.

Birthday lunch for x4 carvery..most of the meats were not cooked..were all rare..roast pots looked lush. But tasted rank the new fresh tub of cauli cheese was like warm. Carrots not cooked were too hard..meals were left. Such a waste..had perfect meals last year..so we're really disappointed that the quality on the plate was poor.. won't be going again.

Came for a carvery for the first time. Came in for about 4:30pm. Went yp to get our food looked lowvly. Sat down and started eating. Instantly all off our table spat the food out. All the veg was cold and still hard not cooked. Also tasted like it was boiled in vinegar. The food was all cold. Meat was stone cold. We did not finish. We also paid for dessert and shock that was foul

Okay if you like sticky tables and heated up frozen food. The play list is awful. The decor is depressing. No star from me wait a minute - 5 stars. A nicely located place that does a pretty comprehensive menu to suit all tastes.Plenty of parking and a few metres from the beach. I had steak ciabatta with red onion with chips. The steak was well cooked and not chewy so I enjoyed. The chips were nice although there were a number of black chips in the bottom of the holder, which were inedible. My son has the steak and ribs which were quickly demolished. My wife had a starter of garlic king prawns and a main of salmon with long grain rice. There were a number of people sitting outside when we left eating their meals prior to a firework display. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were asked if we had enjoyed our meals. There was a very good salad bar included in the price. Nice food at a reasonable cost. We will return.

Went today for lunch with my wife and two daughters. They are all coeliac and found a great choice of gluten free meals. I chose the 'Dirty Burger' which was brilliant, well prepared and properly filling. All the staff were excellent. Thoroughly recommend the place.
