The Kings Arms in Great Yarmouth

Lovely town based pub with great beer and food. This place is very dog friendly with plenty of love, water bowls and treats for our four legged friend. Although very busy, the staff were always attentive and the food (we had the steak and ale pie with some lovely fresh vegetables) was fantastic 😋. Well worth a visit, with or without your 🐕

Found The Kings Arms through google and walked there for an evening meal. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Dog and kid friendly. Food was really nice and reasonably priced. Ordered Gammon, Egg and Chips, a Chilli Ocn Carne and the kids had Tomato pasta and Jumbo Fish Finger. All food came quick and tasted nice. Washed down with a Madri👌🏻 Halloween decorations were up which added to the look of the restaurant and a really warm log burner to keep us warm. Highly recommend

Fantastic vegan options and friendly staff

Great traditional pub. Very welcoming. The garden is beautiful with lots of tables and space Dog friendly. The staff are super friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of vegetarian/vegan food. Very tasty . Will be going back.

Went today for Sunday lunch and they were generous portions, reasonable prices and the staff were just BRILLIANT with my little one.

Me and my family tried here tonight after seeing good reviews of this place online. We are a family of 8 plus a dog and arrived at gone 7.30pm we was told to find a seat and move tables if we need too to accommodate us. The food was the best food I've had in the whole holiday on the Norfolk broads the staff where so friendly and couldn't do enough for us even swapping desserts for my step son when my wife ordered wrong one. My dog left the place a stone heavier as the staff where all so nice and kept giving him treats the kids menus was massive and had plenty of choice and the price of the meals where very good I would 100% recommend this place to any body and of your on the broads it's literally a 5 min walk from yacht station. Just don't try the kings dessert alone as it will easily feed a full family it's HUGE will deffo be returning next time I'm down Norfolk broads

Fantastic garden to enjoy a few beers and a meal. It must take a lot of time to keep things looking so good. Food quality [and portions] are superb. We tried the King burger and Steak & Ale pie in the evening, after seeing the lunches delivered to others earlier in the day. If only it wasn't 3•5 hours away, we'd visit quite often 😪

Cool little place where we popped in for some pub grub when we had the dog with us. We sat in the beer garden which was quite funky and even had some cool chairs for the children (for once they actually sat and ate!) Friendly enough place (although I was chastised for not wearing a top!) Food portions were good and around £15 per meal, solid pub grub really and dog friendly.

Very nice place. Only had a beer with a mate. Waiting for a Chinese order. But very clean & good bar staff.

Great little find whilst we were away. Both dogs were welcomed and water was provided as were treats later on. We arrived right in 5pm and were served very quickly and food arrived quickly also. Food was good for the price but meatballs and pasta was obviously microwaved and over done as they were hard.

Went for a family meal /birthday we booked and we where seated outside last Thursday 29/06/23 and as a group of 7 the service was great the food was brilliantly we all had a great time Thank you to all the staff

Visited a few days ago for a family meal, cannot praise it highly enough, staff, food quality, portion sizes, choice and value for money were all excellent. It will certainly be my first choice next time I am in the area.

I have to say we had the best meal we’ve had in a long time here! Big portions,lovely presentation and really great service. It was so good we actually went back the following evening for another meal If you ever find yourself in Great Yarmouth this is the place to go!

The pub itself is not very big, but the garden is great, like a different world, especially when you're with kids. It's grassy with colourful benches, and fun decorations on the walls. The food is very nice with large portions. All very reasonably priced. And, obviously lovely staff!

Not bad. Food is basic pub food. Bartender is very polite and chatty. We were there reasonably early so difficult to judge on atmosphere.

Loved the old world charm and great atmosphere

Spent all morning googling and going to pubs to see what's good and it's so hard to find something good, but this place is so worth the walk! Unbelievable food and outstanding staff! I had the pie which was unreal proper flakey pastry with the beef still ever so slightly pink (very hard to find a good chef like this) and the Mrs had battered cos which was bigger than the plate and so fresh! What a gem this place has, been Yarmouth many times and never find something good, went to 4 pubs this morning and all not good! This place is the one! Well done guys

We stumbled across this pub when we were on our boating holiday during Easter. What a great find!! The staff are absolutely lovely, friendly, helpful and accommodating. They managed to fit 9 of us all in, despite the fact we descended with no reservation (I would definitely make sure you do book though, we were just lucky). The menu is varied and suited all 9 of us (including 4 fussy kids, literally not one of them like the same combination of food! I swear they made a pact at birth to be as awkward as possible, and hats off them them, they have shown commitment to that cause! I mean, who doesn't like beans? It turns out 2 of these weasels don't!!) We also had a vegan, a vegetarian and 3 carnivores. Even so, there were multiple choices available for all of us, with nothing needing to be tweaked or altered. The food was lovely, the drinks were lovely and the place itself was cosy and friendly. We will definitely go back next time we head to Great Yarmouth.

Great pint of Broadside, and food

Had a very nice and inexpensive prawn baguette and salad, plus a pint for under a tenner. Very clean and sociable place. The loud background music was my only complaint although it did get turned down as it got busier.

Great selection of real ale with a real ale festival often held. Perfect place to pop for a pint after a haircut down the barbers

My wife and I went in for a drink yesterday and was so impressed by friendliness of the bar staff and atmosphere we booked a table for the next evening. Staff again were brilliant and was so attentive, nothing was too much. The food was delicious! I had ribs, my wife the lasagna and we were delighted with the service we received when ordering food and drinks. We would definitely recommend for food or drinks.

The Kings Arms in Great Yarmouth is a must-visit! We had the pleasure of dining here on Sunday and were blown away by the quality of the food. The vegetarian Sunday roasts were delicious, with the Wellington and butternut squash options being particularly noteworthy. The waiters were incredibly kind, polite, and helpful, always going the extra mile to make sure we had a fantastic experience. The coffee was also great, adding the perfect finishing touch to a delightful meal. Overall, I highly recommend The Kings Arms for anyone looking for a warm and welcoming dining experience.

First time visiting. Went with a friend who has been few times recently. She said how lovely the food was. Didn't disappoint. Excellent Will definitely be going back. Soon

Good atmosphere, good food, excellent service

From the moment we walked through the door it was just magical the way the fire was going and the decor. The service was just so friendly and the food was just perfect and plenty of it. We were not hurried at at all, even had a break in-between courses which was so nice. Value for money is definitely a 10 out of 10.

Do not overlook this place! We've just had one of the nicest meals we have had in a long while - and we eat out a LOT! Down-to-Earth, genuine service with a smile and the kind of food that isn't only delicious, but plentiful and satisfying. It's hearty, tasty and amazingly good value. The Vegan options are extensive and clearly labelled too. We'll definitely be back if we're ever passing again.

Good old pub food, served hot and timely, the ham sandwich had enough ham for 3 sandwiches! Barmaid was welcoming and accomodating.

Absolutely lovely little pub had live music on Sunday we were here in back garden. The roast dinner was absolutely lovely given loads of meat and the gravy was just like what my nan used make absolutely the best 👌 10/10

A wonderful local hostelry very close to the minster. Luckily we caught the tail end of a mini festival and a superb band called Tosh. I highly recommend!

They have a lovely kept beer garden filled with lots of well kept plants and qwerky ornaments. We where recommended the place by the people that helped moor us. Would definitely recommend the bar bites from the food menu.

What a fantastic place. 8 of us had an evening meal and drinks. The portions are generous, healthy and full of flavour, all with good value. Would recommend for singles, couples and families. We all loved it and will be returning.
