Amazing meal. We had the taster menu with wine. Plenty to eat and drink and all of it great. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable too. Thanks for a great night!

Went to the Kings Arms at Fleggburgh for a birthday celebration meal. Great value menu selection. My wife and I had both had very tasty, beautifully presented meals. We really enjoyed the meals and a couple of drinks. The staff were smartly dressed and pleasant as always. Pleased we have such an excellent local restaurant and pub. I was staying in nearby Winterton on Sea and had read about the Kings Arms in Fleggburgh. A quick look at their website drew me in with a which has an appealing menu that had vegetarian options and reading online they were dog friendly. I put in a call and spoke with Jade who was able to book a table for me in their dog friendly area for dinner the same evening which was fantastic considering it was a Saturday night. On myarrival I was greeted with a smile and shown to my table and I could sense from the set up that I would have an enjoyable experience. This is a pub but they know how to do fine dining and make customers feel welcome and special. Often when looking for dog friendly places you can feel like you are being ‘accommodated’ by being placed in a section where there is no other use for the room etc. However, at the Kings Arms, this was certainly not the case. I enjoyed my visit and the food was outstanding and delicious that I actually booked again for dinner a few days later during my 1 week holiday to East Norfolk. On my first visit, I was looked after by Jade and the team, all very polite, friendly and professional. I chose the Green Pea and Mint Risotto for my main with a side salad of tomato, red onion and feta. The desserts menu was sufficiently extensive and it all sounded tempting. I managed to narrow it down to 2 and when the waiter came to take my order, I explained that I was torn between 2 on my shortlist. After listening to his views I opted to have the Salted Caramel and Peanut Butter Parfait. I was not disappointed with what I had chosen off the A la carte Menu that evening. Later in the week, I called up and spoke to Jade again who remembered me from my previous visit and kindly booked me in for dinner the same evening in their dog friendly section. I again was not disappointed, I had the soup of the day for my starter which was tomato and basil followed by their other vegetarian main course from the A la carte Menu - Roasted Italian Polenta dish which consisted of Salt baked celeriac, roasted artichokes, wild mushrooms, tender stem broccoli & rosemary madeira cream. Knowing I had been tempted by a few of their desserts on my initial visit, I was not going to skip the opportunity to try another one. I again narrowed it down to 2 with the sticky toffee pudding which was a contender last time remaining on my list alongside their vanilla rice pudding. Sally came to take my order and I explained my dilemma from my first visit and what I had chosen that time and asked for her views to help me decide. I opted for the vanilla rice pudding and was very happy with my choice, this was no school dinner rice pudding that’s was sure as this was in a league of its own 😋 Sally explained that this dessert has been one on their menu for many years and when it has been taken off / replaced, their is a demand to have it put back so it seems this is one of their signature desserts and proved to be a winner for me and a palatable and refreshing end to my meal. I was looked after well by Sally and the team and enjoyed both my visits to the Kings Arms in Fleggburgh. I note they have been awarded 2 AA rosettes for culinary excellence and in my opinion from dining here - I can understand why as this was like a Michelin Star dining experience. I appreciated seeing vegetarian options offered on their menu here which can sometimes be limited elsewhere and also something different and not ‘boring’. This enticed me to dine here twice during a week away with my dog. I recommend dining at the Kings Arms in Fleggburgh and would happily dine here again when on holiday and am also tempted to book a stay in one of their dog friendly garden lodges. They have 3 garden lodges as well as 4 bedrooms within the main building and you have the option to use a private hot tub for an extra fee. Thank you to all the team at the Kings Arms

Excellent, went in on a busy Sunday lunchtime as a walk in, we were given a table, found all the staff polite, curtious and helpful, the food was excellent and good portions and we weren't rushed to finish, highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit

Very good food and a nice place however £4.20 for a 330ml coke and £2.20 for a soda and lime is a rip off. Happy to pay for the quality food but soft drinks are overpriced and take the edge off the experience.

Wow wow wow, stayed here in one of the garden rooms with friends, had evening meal and breakfast, could not fault a single thing, place is immaculate, impeccable service and the food was incredible, would highly recommend and can’t wait to return

We were in a group of 3 couples staying overnight at the Kings Arms. From the moment we got there the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We had drinks in the restaurant area and ‘The Barn’ before checking into our cabins. We had The Owl cabin, which was immaculately clean with every attention to detail you could wish for. The decor was beautiful, towels and robes provided. Lots of space for hanging coats and jackets and storing shoes in the entrance hall of the cabin. We had a slot for the hot tub which was lovely and hot and clean. Everything worked. We then had the taster menu in the evening. Each course was imaginative and well executed, absolutely delicious!The serving staff were attentive and cheerful. The breakfast was relaxed and plentiful, again delicious with lots of choice and vegetarian options available at every meal. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, we had heard good things about the Kings Arms prior to our visit but it exceeded our expectations on every level and we look forward to visiting again.

Superb Sunday roast cooked to perfection. Only criticism was why only one carrot and one qjuarter of a parsnip? Don't understand why top end restaurants are so stingey on these. Wouldn't break the bank to put more root veg on. Nice pint of Timothy Taylor. Would be good to see some real ale choice rather than just one. But great food.

First time dining at the Kings Arms and it was an outstanding experience. The atmosphere was great and the staff were both professional and very curtious. We were waited on by Lisa, who made us both feel welcomed and relaxed.

I attended whilst staying in the area on a solo mini-break for a special event. The staff were all so welcoming and attentive, prompt service and helped with recommendations. I had the Pork Belly which was probably the tastiest meal I've had in a very long time & the warm roll was also absolutely delicious. Very much looking forward to returning when in the area again.

Some staff extremely loud, appeared to be showing off to a table of regular customers. Not expected in this genteel and very respectable establishment. Food very good and service at our table very polite and respectful.

What an absolutely amazing experience dinning at this wonderful restaurant. From the booking of the table to enjoying the most wonderful food the whole experience was faultless. Sally was so apologetic as we wanted to stay the night but there were no rooms available and so helpful with the booking for a meal with excellent communication vie email. I've literally just arrived home from the Kings Arms and I'm so overwhelmed with everything from Jade the restaurant manger and all the staff so attentive on everything And may I congratulate the chef or chefs it's an experience and delight to taste the food you serve to us. We have been several times and even stayed overnight last year, this place does not disappoint. The food and service is amazing! We visited today for Mother’s Day lunch, bringing new family members with us and it was perfect. Slight issue with a delay in some of the desserts arriving however full explanation and apology from staff. We would highly recommend this place. A huge thank you to the chef and all staff, we will be back.

I'm leaving a review to say how bad this place was in the hope that people won't go as I want to get a table in the near future 🤣🤣🤣 In all seriousness, this food was that good it would put Gorden Ramsey to shame. Its the best meal I've ever had. I went on their busiest day, Mother's day. They had approximately 200 people to serve in the space of a few hours and yet they still managed to keep up such high quality food and service. So I wonder what the food would be like on a much less busier day? I had a salmon for my starter, then the roast Beef dinner for my main and for dessert I had Sticky toffee pudding. I wish I could tell you that one of those dishes weren't as good but all three meals were spectacular. I cant even think of another word for such exquisite food. Just imagine the food you would get in Heaven...this is it. No I was not paid for this review...If they did it would be in the form of Rum 🤣🤣🤣 Only joking...please don't go to this restaurant because if everyone knew how good it is, then I'll never get another amazing meal. So in summary, DONT GO!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Mother’s Day Lunch - daughter and I both had beef roast - was truly lovely, beef great, potatoes crispy and fluffy, tasty veg plus ordered cauliflower cheese. Strawberry tart to follow. Oh and a couple of cocktails! Service was excellent. Can’t rate it highly enough.

We had a small christening meal at the Kings Arms after the church service and it couldn’t have gone any better. I had arranged with the manager to have a floral arch display within the grounds of the restaurant and the table to be dressed with fresh flowers and it was all done beautifully just as we had asked. Visited for our first outing after lockdowns. Welcomed with open arms and got a great table. Staff very attentive but not overbearing but friendly. Had nice 3 course lunch, starter, main and desert. All served piping hot, linen table cloths, fine glassware and cutlery. All courses cooked to perfection and served at ease. Very busy which says it all.

Wonderful food and great service here. We were hesitant about eating outside due to weather and food going cold. We couldn’t fault the whole experience. Food was piping hot, beautifully presented and arrived quickly. We had our dogs with us and they were given bowls of water. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Wonderful food and service at the Kings Arms. A true Michelin starred experience with every dish having unique flavours. Our party of four had an amazing time. They have done wonders with the ambience in the beer garden! Infact it looks straight out of a wedding reception. A must visit for the wonderful experience and the attentive and kind staff.

First review after lockdown and it was both a pleasure to get out and about and have breakfast here! The staff are really friendly and very professional, the food was the best. Eggs Royale and a full English Breakfast both perfectly cooked!Never had anything but top marks for this restaurant, the standard has never fallen short of five stars!

This is my second visit and the pub did not disappoint. Firstly, the food was fabulous. The 'today's special' - Mussel with white wine sauce did blow me and my friend away - by miles !! The plumpest mussel, the gorgeous juice... 'heaven' does not do justice to describe it. (according to our friendly staff Sally, they only have this on the menu when they can get the best mussel ... make sense!). The main courses followed - my salmon was perfectly cooked, with lovely risotto and perfectly grilled king prawn on top. My friends' Halibut came with four big fat asparagus - that made me slightly jealous! Puddings? Everything on the menu was fab, but everybody agreed that Panna cotta was the clear winner. Wobbly and gorgeous. Secondly, the service was great. We were a (noisy and excited) group of 6 - but they treated us well. We changed our table AFTER we asked them to put the parasol up - no problem. Sally especially was lovely - looking after us throughout our long lunch. Finally, the bread rolls at the beginning was... again, heavenly. Thanks for the lovely lunch - we will be back!!

Friday lunchtime. Food and drink ordered and it started to rain,although under a parasol it was not very comfortable.By the time our food arrived we were reseated under cover near a heater.Credit must be given to the staff who managed the situation without any fuss.Needless to say the food,chicken and halibut was superb,so lovely to have a meal cooked by a chef after all this time.

Expertly presented and cooked to perfection! Nicest scallops I've tasted and the lamb and accompaniments were superb. Attentive and polite service without being over fussy. Very professional outfit.

We had a beautiful evening in the lovely marquee in April . The food was the best meal I have had in a long time . The food was fresh, flavoursome and seasonal , just perfection . The staff are so warm and friendly , especially the lady who designed the marquee and the waiter Rob, they couldn’t of been more welcoming . We will absolutely return.
