A pleasant town centre pub with several spacious rooms set around a generous bar with large garden to the rear. Four cask ales on offer and the first tried was in poor condition. A quick word to the barman and we swapped for an alternate which was well conditioned an served. Extensive lunchtime menu and the food was good and promptly served. Very friendly staff. Good value.

Nice place for having friends or family gathering for the late afternoon and evening. There is plenty parking spaces and also very nice neighbourhood in Harefield, worth visiting. Strongly recommended.

We got the food from the pop up area in front via a take away order. It was reasonably priced and we were very pleased with what we were given. The pizzas were cooked very well with many toppings. However the person when we went to collect the food was rather rude and moody and the food was salty

Good beer, good prices and really nice friendly staff. The weird thing is that when you walk in the clientele all look up a stare, little bit like 'The Slaughtered Lamb' in American Werewolf in London. Don't let that put you off, it's part of the charm. 👍😃

We sat out in the back garden. The food was excellent, couldn't fault it. Chicken Tikka Masala and chicken supreme both lovely, chips were really crunchy, but soft inside. The garden could really do with a serious clean up - bits of rubbish stuck in the tables and fag ends around that need clearing. The tables could do with a lick of varnish. However, new manager takes over soon and maybe things will be different. Good luck to Danny and thanks to John, who will still be around, I'm sure.

I was staying at the hospital and a nurse had recommended the Sunday roast. I wasn’t disappointed. I had roast beef with all the trimmings and it was lovely. The beef was lovely and tender, to much for me but I’m not a big meat eater. Veggies were lovely and fresh and roast potatoes nice and crispy. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I will return next time I’m in the area.

I had a Sunday lunch here on remembrance Sunday and it was so nice to see the pub supporting the local community hosting local uniformed services. The pub is a nice traditional English pub, with a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The downside was the food, I was expecting a nice traditional roast dinner, however the dish came out swimming in gravy to the point that you couldn't see the meat. The gravy was watery, had very little flavour. I had the lamb, which tasted nice, but was extremely thinly sliced and resembled more like the meat you expect from a microwave meal. The vegetables had been cooked to within an inch of their lives. However the potatoes were good. I would certainly recommend the deserts though!!!

An Authentic English Pub! This is a real English pub! With more than 300 years of history it has many stories to tell. Highway men drank at this pub. WWI wounded Aussies at the local hospital drank at this pub. Royalty visited this pub. It has real history! Low ceilings. Cosy sitting areas. Well stocked bar. Sunday lunch was excellent! Real pub food! Roast lamb and veg was as good as it gets. But what makes this pub stand out is the people. Wonderful serving staff. Bar manager was attentive, calm, talking effortlessly to every guest. Every one there was a local. Elderly people in their 80’s having a traditional Sunday roast. Listening to the locals was a pleasure. Endless stories. Lots of laughter. These are the real English people you won’t get in a fancy London pub. This is a pub where you are welcome. Just when you think it can’t get any better an “Arthur Daly” lookalike turned up and took over the conversation!!! THE KINGS ARMS IS A GREAT ENGLISH PUB! Worth the visit!

Three of us lunched here on a Sunday afternoon. The pub was reasonably busy, but, was easing as it was 2.15. Unfortunately the waitress got our order slightly wrong (roast beef instead of burger). This was rectified fairly rapidly and all of the food was very good. My impression was that they are really trying to achieve customer satisfaction. The menu is very basic and the desserts lack imagination. Would go again. Very convenient for Harefield Hospital.

I was so shocked about how crap 3 roast dinners were, as a local resident I couldn't bring myself to tell the landlord! Cabbage smelt musty, roast potatoes still hard in the middle, meat smothered in cheap packet mix gravy, watery veg and a Yorkshire pudding which was like bread! ... never eating in there again and that's the local pub! Zero peoples skills, they treat you like a product on a factory line: order your food, pay and leave asap. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant the attentiveness of staff was awful: huge lack of peoples skills, the waitress didn’t even greet us, she immediately started walking expecting us to follow her, she then pointed at our table across the restaurant and said “that’s your table”. After 5 minutes of trying to get a staff members attention, we asked the waitress to take our order which she didn’t. We then asked the manager to take our order, for him to tell us to hold on using a hand gesture and proceeded to take another tables order, after which he stood around on his phone/doing nothing, the waitress the same. It was only until we were about to leave our table to approach a member of staff, that a waiter approached us and took our order. Please note that we were one of two tables present, the rest of the restaurant was empty. The Loaded Fries and Ceasar Salad were delicious, though we asked for our lamb burgers to be medium/well done and they were hella dry. Overall, we’re in no rush to return to this joint - VERY overrated.

Nice English Breakfast in T2In December, we had more time on our hands, prior to our flight back to the USA, than we had planned on - everything went just perfectly, so after Security, we headed to The Gorgeous Kitchen, in the hub of the airside of Terminal 2.We were seated near the railing, overlooking the terminal below, or out of the large windows, at the tarmac. We quickly had the menu, and had made our decisions for breakfast, and also for wines, the Chapel Downs English Rose sparkler.I went with the English Breakfast, and my wife, a Cold-smoked Salmon w/ Scrambled Eggs. Both dishes were quite good, and I am glad that I did not “upgrade” to the TGR Breakfast, as I had more than enough to eat, as it was. Each item was very good, and that for both dishes. The service was also very good, at quite attentive, and we wanted for nothing. While not the least expensive of dining in T2, I felt that it was a good value, and was surprised a bit, at how well-prepared the food was, given that it was an airport restaurant. We will be back, and not just for the attractive and convenient venue, but also for the food.
