Great little deli with a wide variety of different tasty stuff. Picked up a couple of bottles of local chilli sauce to try when back South.

The sit-in area is much missed, but Patrick’s remodelled shop n service still forms an essential part of the town. Proper coffee, fresh baking and a host of deli goodies - what’s not to like ? Swing past, grab what takes your eye and enjoy a bite as you walk around a lovely little town. Support your local shops and keep the community spirit alive !

WE joined our daughter who always has a coffee and pastry to start her Friday and today we can see why. We popped back later to get our lunch and the selection was amazing. Every time we are visiting Inverurie in future we will visit the Kilted Frog for a take away.

Fantastic Xmas food 😋 for the staff on last day before the break. We've had Fleur the Maquis cheese, crackers, apple & ale chutney, almond croissants, cheese scones and dried apple & raisins scones. We all feel very special on the day that is so busy and challenging. Everything was delicious!

Saturday morning pit stop, coffee, bun, something nice for the wife and a little ham as a treat for the dogs, what’s not to like - a freshly made scone and some Red Leicester all served up by a hard working Frenchman who tries his best to offer his customers something special - well done !

First time visit for years had a portion of sweet potato fries they had been out for ages very rubbery and only look warm coffee was ok.

Got an espresso couple days ago and it was so enjoyable so went back today and yes definitely my new favourite coffee place. Italians you won't be disappointed! Apple crumble was also lovely 👌

Popped in today with a friend, for the first time. Great atmosphere, love the quirky decor. First class service and first class food. Lovely deli, had to buy a few bits whilst I was there. Highly recommended

If you're out to meet a friend, or meeting your family I can recommend no better place than the Kilted Frog. They serve by far the best coffee in Inverurie and make some killer toasties. There's a quaint little speciality shop in the front having a range of products you can tell are good quality. Would 100% recommend

Pop in here often; normally for carry out food, occasionally for sit down soup or coffee. Patrick and his staff are always on it and happy to see you. Food is good tasty and fresh - basic grub, but hits the spot and the odd cake to fill in any small gaps. Towns like Inverurie NEED places like this and NEED to support the small local traders in these tough times. An essential meeting hub and service to our community, well done Kilted Frog ... and Moose loves his ham as much as I love my coffee!

As a takeaway regular I saw a seat was available so sat in for a coffee with my son and said I would get a takeaway to take home when we were ready. I was in the middle of drinking my coffee when the owner came over and said was I ready for my takeaway. I believe he wanted rid of us , as people he clearly felt were more worthy of a seat than us came in. Yet a man on his own was sitting reading a paper just , was not practically told to leave. I found this offensive, as it is a rare occurrence for me to get time to sit in for a coffee here but clearly I am not wanted ,so I will after many years especially supporting the place regularly through both lockdowns take my business elsewhere. I get times are tough and being a small place they need a high turnover of tables but I was only in 10minutes. It’s very disappointing as they have the best coffee of anywhere but on principle since I felt unwanted I will leave space permanently for more important people to the owner than myself.

Superb small coffee shop with a great offering of cuisine or home bakes. (Lemon and lime cake is beautiful). Delicatessen has a super offering of cheese etc not to be found elsewhere locally. Not to be missed but if I don't get a seat there because of this review I'll be miffed

Visiting Inverurie and popped in here for lunch. What a treat. Absolutely loved the food and the service was great too. You have to try out their gorgeous pastries and quiche. Very quirky surroundings. A real pleasure

We had been told about this cafe and we were not disappointed as the quiche and home baking could not be better.

As I am not usually in inverurie a lot, I walked the high street and noticed this place. The few people I asked really liked this place. I ordered a tasty sandwich and coffee.

Wonderfully tasty sweet and savoury treats made in house as well as some great French cheeses and deli favourites to take home. Their warm bacon and tomato bagel is a joy!

The most amazing cafe to have something to eat and drink. Staff are so friendly. Always a smile and great service. Great coffee, great place to have a bite to eat that can cater for vegans too. The atmosphere is fabulous, I make sure I visit here when I am through for a visit. Order food at till and take a seat. I would highly recommend.

Friendly staff and good selection of cakes and hot drinks. Could do with a bit more space given its popularity. Best bakewell tart ever! The kind of place you could start and finish a good book, except people-watching might distract you. Seems a favourite for local groups of friends and families. Nice dry-good deli items such as biscuits, teas and sweets for presents or treats.

Best coffee and cake in inverurie. Lovely little cafe. Quirky, warm and welcoming. Had a decaf latte and a bakewell tart and could easily have had seconds but had an appointment. Fab. 5 stars

This place is a wee gem in inverurie. Amazing coffee and some crazy cakes with some weird stuff in them but try some, life is worth trying different things. I try and go to this place every time I am in Inverurie.

Great place to stop and have breakfast when I was passing through, the best coffee in Inverurie, kept me going all the way to Fort William.

I was dere and dis boi popped on my crep and did upset me so much when I got home I cried all night till ma ma got me beans on toast

Adorable little place, very friendly owners, amazing food. I love to grab a coffee before work on my way through or grab a bite after my shift, and have a whole range of quality products in the deli shoo too.

Whether you’re popping in for a coffee, some food or to make a purchase from the deli section this little gem doesn’t disappoint. It’s small but tables turn quickly and I’ve always had service with a smile.

In Inverurie buying some pipe fittings from Filpumps. Hungry daughter asked the guy who makes the best bacon rolls in town. Chap answered without hesitation so we came straight here. Pleasant staff, great range of foods and other bits and pieces. Bacon baguette got a huge thumbs up from daughter. I'm a veggie so didn't try it but oh my it smelled good.

Very interesting little cafe/deli/giftshop with a quirky and individual atmosphere that we found very welcoming on a grey and drizzly day. Loved the crockery used for my Earl Grey tea, and very tasty muffins to accompany it. Certainly lots of interesting gift ideas to look at whilst tucking in - craft items as well as deli.Nice to find somewhere out of the ordinary.

Found this spot while waiting for our train. The highlights were: 🌿 Well priced variety of meals 🌿 Friendly and quick service 🌿 Able to dine in on a tight timeline (~35 min) 🌿 Really cozy atmosphere 🌿 The food was delicious! I had the croque monsieur and a latte, then took a coconut lime loaf to go. Perfect treat on the train! My sister enjoyed the quiche and salad. Also delicious. Would highly recommend and was greatful someone sent us their way!

Not your average cafe but the authenticity and quirkiness make it the best cafe in Inverurie by a mile. Patrick and Juliet make you very welcome and with a great choice of snacks and light meals what's not to like

Patrick is a lovely man who seems to have been horribly misunderstood by some uncultured swines. Ignore the bad reviews. He is charming, funny et intelligent. Would much rather be supporting this local business than propping up the chains. Keep up the great work!

This is a super little gem in the heart of inverurie. Lots of yummy options to bring home. Serves excellent coffee and good coffee shop menu.

Food is always great, though because of that it can get very busy. Worth persevering (or opt for take out!). Love the eclectic decor.

Wanted something other than full breakfast, daughter suggested Kilted Frog. Good choice, bacon bagels, crepes and savoury muffins. Had a great Chai Latte.

You need to get in early to get a seat, or go at unusual times. Always excellent service and food. It's a bit different from the other coffee shops close by and is definitely worth a visit.
