Had a takeaway that I collected from here for my husband's birthday. Absolutely delicious food (the meat thali was especially good), the whole family enjoyed eating it. Fabulous service from the staff and very good value with the discount for collecting. Used the app which worked well. Supremely happy customer 😊👍

This is by fair the most amazing Indian I have ever been to curtious staff even checked on my partner cause she was a little poorly the chicken was sublime 👌 so tender and the whole meal was brilliant made my birthday 🎂 the staff was great I can't day a bad thing about this place a total credit to Indian quasine 100000% going back to this restaurant just brilliant Bryan.

First time here, celebrating a birthday. Food was lovely, their Nan bread was so fresh. The staff were lovely, made you feel so welcome. Would highly recommend.

Delivery was spot on, listened to my requests, food was brilliant, particularly the chaat as we’ve been unable to find one we are used to until now, and the cold bottle of larger for free was a real nice touch! Thank you!

Wish I could leave 0 stars. Took over 2 and a half hours to get our order. Called the restaurant after 2 hours and was told (as per usual) it is out for delivery, called back half an hour later to be told the same! Very rude man on the phone would not let me speak. Food arrived cold and disgusting. This is a massive shame as they used to be the best in frodsham.

If I were to want an Indian in Frodsham I certainly wouldn't come here, I would go to one of the others. Disappointed as expected much better. Tasteless, oily and very underwhelming. The only reason I have given 2 stars and not less, was because the welcome was friendly.

Just eaten an excellent take-away from the India Garden. As always the food was excellent! Josh made the delivery himself - he really is one of nature’s kindest and most generous gentlemen.

I've never eaten in but for the last 4 weekends in a row we've had takeaway. They deliver up to Kingswood Park as well, which is a bonus! I've had to have Chicken Madras every time because it is the best I've had in years. I get 2 meals so I can have it for lunch the following day... Can't get enough of it! Wife always gets a lamb dish because it is always very tender.We also get garlic rice each time as well because it is simply the best rice ever!And a bottle of Bud on the house is the icing on the cake!

Went in for my daughters birthday. Moment we walked in the service was amazing made us feel like we were the only one's in there. Food as always was 10 out 10. Really tasty, from starters all the way to desserts. Even got a free round of drinks. Easily the best curry house around!! Thank you josh an team. John.

I have seen a lot of reviews for this place - almost all very positive regarding dining in the restaurant. However, for my birthday meal we decided to opt for the takeaway service which was absolutely shocking. I Ordered a chicken tikka bhuna which was the blandest, most tasteless curry I have ever eaten. Almost as if a spoonful of curry was placed in the bottom of the dish and then filled up with hot water. Honestly, absolutely terrible. It had the consistency of water and was cold when it arrived. I have seen a couple of other reviews regarding the takeaway service being terrible and I can now fully understand why. It all went straight In the bin, what a waste of money. This is the first time ever in my life that I have thrown Indian food in the bin. 100% will not be returning.

This has got to be one of the best curries me and my girlfriend have had eating out we was staying at a glamping site and booked to come for a meal the staff were nice and friendly and the food wait wasnt to long. Enjoyed every single bit of the food and the price was great. If we stay around the area again we definitely will be booking india garden again thank you!

Ordered food by phone and told that the order would be ready in 40 minutes for collection. Arrived on time and told that they only had 2 orders for collection and ours was not either of them! Phoned my partner and confirmed she had ordered fromthe India Garden. By this time our order had miraculously been found and would be ready straight away. Waited 40 minutes while they prepared it. They weren't that bothered, I was totally fed up with their poor service. Won't go back. I should have ordered from the Frodsham Tandoori which is better food anyway in my opinion.

Me and my Father went out for a boys night at the India Garden. This restaurant made me feel instantly comfortable with a warm and vibrant welcome.The staff is so well mannered, especially Joshthey will also recommend dishes that are very successful for yourself to try. There is very good wide range of curries, starters and sides. This particular restaurant does not do desserts but however the effort put into the curries backs that up. The curries are full of flavour and such a great consistency and taste, exploding with loads of flavours, you really do taste all the lovely fresh spices and herbs that has been added.I had a starter, a side, a curry and a garlic naan. I am a lover of my food especially Indian food and I like to leave a restaurant with that feeling of ‘I will go there again’ and being really full.In addition to this review, whoever has rated this restaurant anything below 5 stars, you really need to know your Indians mate!

Visited this restaurant early evening. Lucky to get a table. Customer service very good. Shown to table drinks order taken quickly and not waiting ages to order food. Nice atmosphere and modern decor. Food fabulous really tasty. Attentive service without being too much. Really nice touch free Baileys at end of meal. Food was nice but the chicken korma was a little spicy and not much sauce. Chicken was dry but other than that it was greatVery nice indeed. But wouldn't expect anything less. As always we had a fantastic meal - this restaurant is consistently great - varied menu with traditional offerings as well as contemporary I dian food - attentive staff - it does however sometimes get very very busy (because it's so goid) - so you may need to book and there may be a little wait for your lovely freshly prepared meal to arrive.

The food was great. The waiters were lovely and friendly. My 12 and 14yr old loved the food. We visited on new years day.... So maybe a bad time to visit as no one else was out... Apart from another table, the place was empty and cold. There was a fan heater in the corner but I still felt cold. In my opinion it lacked in atmosphere, however that did not affect the standard of food. Would we return.. Yes defo.. But maybe on a weekend with more atmosphere.

Great welcome and consistently good food guaranteed every time at this restaurant. The menu is wide and varied and the tables are spotless. Service is very efficient and polite in an old school style often missing in other restaurants. We keep going back because it’s great!

Very disappointed with my visit tonight, chutney had clearly been used by another table and passed to ours. Poor customer service, obviously having a bad day and not interested in the customer.

Last minute decision to have a Sunday banquet, the food was amazing and the staff are so friendly. It was very busy and very loud at points but the fact that the guys work so hard and are so helpful made a massive difference. Great price and the staff just can't do enough for you.

Just stunning food albeit far too much but the guys boxed up what we couldn't eat and it made another meal. Very good value too and such friendly service. They even gave us a drink on the house. This was our first time but it most certaily won't be the last. I would highly recommend.

We called into India garden last week as my daughter was paying a visit from Canada and hadn’t seen Josh for 3 years. As always there was a warm welcome from Josh, who even remembered her name. We were shown to our table and complimentary drinks followed. We chose our starters and mains, I chose the staff curry which is highly recommended, the mains arrived piping hot and the naan bread was sublime soft and fluffy.

The family visited the India Garden at the weekend for a birthday celebration. There are a few Indian restaurants in Frodsham and we looked on Trip Advisor at reviews. All of them look good but we decided on this one. It was busy when we arrived and that gave the place a good atmosphere. We have read reviews about Josh, the owner, and his hospitality and sometimes these reviews don't stack up. In this instance they did. Josh was fantastic, very friendly and very attentive. All the staff were excellent to be honest. The food was brilliant and plentiful. As a group we have a tendency to over-order and then end up leaving good food. We were conscious of this so ordered less. Josh brought some free starters over for us to try and they were delicious. By the time our main course arrived we were already getting full. The food was so good that we didn't want to leave it. Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough and will definitely be going back.

On my monthly trips to Frodsham I nearly always eat at this superb restaurant. Last night, however was outstanding with magnificent food and great service a very reasonable price. I would certainly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area

This is a great restaurant hosted by the owner Josh who makes everyone feel welcome. All the staff are friendly and efficient and there is no problem if you need a slight adjustment to your meal eg slightly milder Madras curry which is excellent. The food is prepared with high quality ingredients to high standard. I eat out internationally so it is great that this is on our doorstep. We don’t bother with the other Indian restaurants if you want to be sure just go here.Good value too.Be sure to book so you get a table,

Never been before, drove passed a thousand times. Restaurant was recommended by several work mates.Got there at 850pm and it was packed out table was ready and waiting tho. Standard we had poppadoms chutney tray was very tasty. Garlic mushrooms where a disappointment.... But onion bhargis where spot on... Had southern Indian garlic chicken and a chicken jalfrazi for main course both standard... Indian garlic wasn't as spicy as I'd hoped probably try madras if we go again....... The restaurant is very narrow and because it was very busy the noise levels where pretty intense. It's good if you want to nosey into somebody else's conversation.... But not if somebody on the table across from you has a really annoying laugh..... Would go again but there's several other restaurants in Frodsham to try first

Called in without booking after a few drinks in frodsham, we 1st noticed how clean it was and how friendly the staff where, after a few poppadoms and a little drink, the waiter patiently helped us with our choice everything we had was delicious the manager Josh even came over for a little chat its got to be one of the best Indian restaurants ive visited and will definitely be calling back soon.

Weather a takeaway or a sit down meal service and quality of food is always fantastic, Mike and Josh always ensure everything is OK. All in all, my favorite curry house in the area and couldnt recommend any higher.

Disappointed. The curry was not as described, very bland and no spice to it. Naan bread was cold not even room temperature it was chilled! We were missing an item as well from the order.

We turned up without a reservation and they managed to find the two of us a table very quickly considering it was 8 on a Friday night. The place was very clean cloth table clothes. But unfortunately paper napkins!! By you can not win them all. !!!The meals for my self and my friend were very nice may I add my friend is a vegetarian and is hard too please. The downside to the place was the tables were very close together and if you wanted some privacy it was not going to happen. The waiters were like trolley dollies and it was amazing watching how they worked the isle together:0). Toilets if you are disabled are up stairs. When we got there a chap had manage to manipulate them really well on crutches. I was expecting a round of applause when he got to the bottom of them :0). In all it was a goodnight but the naga further up the road still gets my vote. But we shall see what the future holds:0) might go back again :0)

I unfortunately decided to give this restaurant a go after reading some of the great reviews on TripAdvisor. Both the starters and main meals were swimming in oil and were tasteless.

Always had great food here - it is consistently good and the staff are always friendly too - only down side I have had is a couple of times the bill has had things on that we didn't order an extra starter or an extra drink so do check your bill carefully - they are mostly ery busy so I would book ahead at peak times - overall I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Waited 10mins for a table.... no problemWe had starters and main course and I was really nice and tasty. Service was good, certainly no complaints.We have been many times to this restraunt but not within last couple years due to my health issues. The restraunt manager recognised me and asked why I hadn't been for a while. But that was the reason.We will certainly be going back again. Sooner rather than later.Overall great food, nice evening and not a bank breaker.Well recommended.

Visiting the area for the motorbike racing at Oulton Park. On the advice of taxi driver we came here. Glad we did, very busy but the staff were all very friendly and they got us in quickly despite us not booking. Meal was absolutely fantastic, good quality very tasty food. Didn't have to wait too long either. As my title says the best Indian food I have ever had and will definitely be back next year! If I lived closer I would be in here very regularly and would definitely recommend it to anyone

First time visit- restaurant well packed with few spare seats (probably best to book early on in the evening, and this was a Tuesday!). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was very tasty; good choice of chutneys, etc to go with the poppadums. Main meal was very tasty (chicken jalfrezi, which was not too hot for my taste). Despite living in Kent, if I ever come back I will certainly visit again.

Josh and the team were fantastic (again) last night. I've recently gone from veggie to vegan - I mentioned it to Josh and he told me which dishes I couldn't eat (as opposed to what I could - such a nice change) basically anything on the menu that didn't have cream in or the naan as they have butter. I had a vegetable sizzler - can't tell you how delicious it was! 5 star service and 5 star food. Love this place and can highly recommend for any veggies, vegans, gluten free etc.

We visited the India Garden yesterday evening. It was a charity night organised by a relative of ours, with the kind and generous support of the restaurant owner. The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We are vegetarian and they offered to make us any vegetarian dish we wanted. The evening was a great success all round.

Literally within 30 seconds of sitting down a waiter, old chap wearing a tie ( owner/ managers dad?) , was asking us for our order. We hadn't even picked a menu up and asked him to give us 5 minutes, less than a minute later he was back , told him again to give us 5 minutes, 30 seconds later he was back again, this time he was getting a bit pushy. Really we should've got up and left then but we went along with it after another member of staff jokingly told us he was from Fawlty Towers. In fact he wasn't joking , wrong wine served and somebody else's starter put on our table, I've an idea that Mr Pushy was involved in the confussion. My starter of Tikka lamb chops was impossible to cut, I even picked them up and still couldn't bite through them. All the time Mr Pushy was hovering, and fussing around, a real pest. The main courses were Ok but far from being the best I've tasted. If I ever had the idea to go to the India Garden again , I'd look through the window first to make sure Mr Pushy wasn't in.
