The house of shah in Hamilton is bye far the best takeaway in Lanarkshire in all ways the service is first class and the staff could not be any more helpful they go over and above n even got me a taxi home wen I was in there intocsicated and they actually called me a taxi and helped me into the taxi as I have epilepsy

The house of shah is a small Indian takeaway situated near Hamilton bus station and as soon as you walk past it even if your some guy called Greg in California your going to get a beautiful whiff of their food when their open, the food and the staff are lovely and very welcoming, it’s like you’ve known them for 10 years their that friendly. 10/10 :D

Went down hill a bit? Curry was full of oil and nowhere near enough chicken. Rice clearly reheated and not fresh atall. Didn't enjoy this meal, usually food is excellent. Come on guys, what's going on?

Owner very nice, called me to say the pizza 🍕 ordered did not come out to his standard. So he decided to give us the pizza plus another one to make up for it. To be honest I could t see any issue with the pizza we ordered but it was very nice of him to give us one free as he felt it didn’t meet his standard

King Nan curry was amazing! Joe, it would be good to have an upgrade on Just Eat to upgrade to lamb tikka, prawn etc. Keep up the good work!

I don't normally do reviews but had to with this one , we ordered chasni and donner pizza along with pakora, what a treat this by far the best pizza and pakora we've tasted just perfection will definitely order again

Pizza was average but a bit over cooked and hard base, salad not very fresh, Donner pakoras were disappointing, pakora sauce very oily, I would use them again if any area but not worth travelling too as just standard takeaway, shame cause seems like gets allot of hype on Facebook 😔

Fantastic food, ordered the mixed hoagie and the chicken tikka and donner was unbelievable the standards are always highest at house of shah. Never been let down by the quality of the food. Curry’s are unbelievable aswell I recommend the lamb bhuna and South Indian garlic chilli chicken tikka.

Traveled to try some of there different options, Didn't see the fuss standard takeaway forgot items aswell far to flustered behind the counter.

Fantastic Service. Struggled to find a decent Indian Takeaway since moving to Hamilton 4 years ago and can't believe I missed House of Shah! food was perfectly cooked, delivered on time (on a Friday night) piping hot and tasted amazing. If I was being overly fussy the pakora sauce could have managed an extra spoonful in the container and curry sauce was slightly saltier than I would have personally chosen but reaching here, still tasted amazing and I'll order extra sauce next time. Excellent!

Ordered around 6pm and lost my appetite by time it came at 8.25 ,this was after the app updated saying enjoy your meal that was at 7.40 ,yes it was boxing day ,yes it was mibby busy but its no excuse for taking an order knowing yous were behind as much !

Meal arrived in less than 15 minutes fresh and piping hot . Absolutely beautiful

Never thought I'd Have to make a negative review but unfortunately I do for last nights madras calzone .. okay I understand it's sat night it's busy so 1 hour 25 mins can be understood but getting Luke warm meal can't be understood also the amount of madras in the calzone was questionable and chicken was on the chewy side .. probs last time ordering from here last few meals been good to its a shame

All the curry pizzas are class but the lamb bhoona pizza i ordered was out of this world. The lamb melted in your mouth and the sauce was unbelievable, Highly recommend it!

Absolute fantasist service from the guys at house of shah, i have tried many takeaways Indian restraunts and I must say house of shah serves the best food by flying colours, the only thing that gets me through my week at work is a house of shah takeaway on a Friday night!! Simply sublime!

We always say HOS is the best Indian in Hamilton but sadly not tonight... Ordered goliath meal, I didnt know at the time it came in pizza box until after I ordered but that was fine. When it arrived I knew as soon as I took hold of the bag that the box had burst... Again I wasn't bothered (it's been a long day, I wasn't long home so wasn't caring) Then I opened box and it was SO SO SO DRY!!! no sauce whatsoever. The items individually were mostly okay, rice naan chips...but couldn't eat it at as no sauce. Again - good pieces of meat so no complaints there.. We just COULD NOT eat it as there was no sauce at all. Also mixed pakora, 1 small tiny piece chicken 1 small piece vegetable the rest mushroom (for someone who eats every vegetable except mushroom not so good) I will order from HOS again as this 1 horrific experience won't undo all the amazing dishes they have provided in the past, I just hope they take notice of this review and make sure a mistake like this doesn't happen to a customer again

Got my usual kebab. I never had a bad 1 from here before, but this one was unedable. Very little flavour and the grease soaked my nan so badly it was like swimming in a bath. Only place for this was the bin

Definitely THE best takeaway by a country mile. The pizza’s are an absolute must! All dishes are prepared and cooked to perfection. This is restaurant standard in a takeaway. The staff are always friendly & welcoming, nothing is ever an issue.

Just want to say massive thank you again! Delivery driver realised there was a pizza missing from my order, so the restaurant sent another fresh pizza aswell as the one that was already made and fresh pakora! Food was delicious and very nice of restaurant for doing that as not many would!

Food quality was poor. Large portion of chick pakora had mushroom mixed in it. For cost of order quality wasn't there.
