I ate a special roast lamb with a very delicious and interesting side dish.

Very busy Sunday evening but service and attention by the team was top notch. Beer and food was delicious too. Will recommend.

I came here last week and was served by a very kind girl (I think she said she was called Roseline). She was very sweet with my grandchildren, answering their questions about how the food tasted. This lovely service elevated our time here.

Great spot with delicious sea bass meal and terrific fish and chips. The pint of Neck Oil went down well....fantastic staff.

This is a nice pub with a good atmosphere in a quiet part of town. And I'm sure if you're not vegan it's probably a lovely place to eat. Everyone I was with seemed to really enjoy their food. But I ate the only vegan option on the mains menu, a gnochi, which was tasteless, bland, and quite frankly my 14 year old son made a better pasta bake in his food tech class at school, and that didn't cost me £17.50! If you're vegan I'd give this place a miss, but if not it was a nice pub and we had a lovely evening there (apart from my food, which at least was filling - there, I found a positive!!)

The food was decent but the service was horrendous. I have never experienced anything worse. The lady that served us was chewing a gum intensely and she was extremely rude. I think she thought we were tourists and we weren't worth the effort, and even if we were tourists we were still going to spend our money there. Should have retracted the service charge but just because she is unsuitable for the job the kitchen staff shouldn't pay the prize. Just get rid of her.

We had dinner at the pub before a concert at the Royal Albert Hall and the food was excellent! Great service too and very nice place.

Went here with friends for a Sunday roast. The chicken was ok, but the cauliflower cheese, which I was looking forward to, was the the size if a teaspoon, as was stuffing. Not worth £22. My friends had the sticky toffee pudding, which again was the size of a teaspoon, for £8.50!!! Service was ok, but they dud try to remove my friends plates from the table, whilst i was still eating. I know it's South Kensington, but not worth the money.

Sunday lunch as recommended but sadly disappointingly average. Flavourless meat and a poor selection of vegetables. Dessert menu offered but no follow up attention. Automatic service charge? Should have cancelled this part of the bill. Mother's Day or not the service should have been far better.

Rubbish Service from assistant manager has a problem with local people and Israel

I used to come here when I arrived to England 7years ago, service was perfect and what I expected from a fullers pub. Today, staff have no style, neither maneers. You get your 4 pints ordered in 3 runs, and food was served before the last pint ordered. Please, do something as Brixton pubs are doing a better job than yours

And friend and I came here yesterday around 10 to grab a quick drink. We stood at the bar for 10 minutes, then switched side and waited again and returned and after 20 minutes didn’t get served. It was not particularly busy at the bar, staff just avoiding eye contact and ignoring us and other customers Have been here before but disappointed with this experience

The beer was great but the smell from the toilets was something else. Would have stayed longer than one pint but couldn't as everytime the door to toilets was opened made us feel sick.

Great roast on a Sunday with a great atmosphere of a pub. The nut roast option was super tasty (not sticky as most nut roasts are) with great roasted veg and potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. The crumble was well spiced but the custard wasn't great, almost as thin as milk and lumpy. Service was very fast and food came out quickly. We reserved the table for 2 a week before for 5:30pm and the restaurant was full. You could order the dinner menu on the drinks side too. Dog friendly.

Delicious and crispy haddock! My first ever classic fish and chips while visiting London. Pub was comfortable and a cool environment. Recommend a visit!

The best pub food in London, I tried the Sunday roast with lamb that was really good as well as having a big selection of wine’s that the staff has knowledge on. they change the menu sometimes serving is impeccable and the atmosphere is amazingly good. I definitely recommend for pub connoisseurs.

Had very nice dinner. The Fish and Chips was great! I had the corn-fed Chicken with Truffle mash and it was delicious. Our server, Raniah, was a true highlight of the experience. She made our dinner memorable. Thanks!

We came for Sunday evening dinner, and only down point is that they sometimes run out of certain things earlier in the day I initially ordered lamb, but ended up with fish and chips (no more rack of lamb). It was excellent, so I was not disappointed. Over the years, we have eaten here many tines. it's always great.

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch here at the weekend. The service and atmosphere were lovely and the menu was perfect with options for everybody - classic pub food and something special if you want something a bit extra. My partner had the fish pie while I had the rack of lamb. We finished off with the chocolate marquise to share (though I could've had the whole thing!) It's also very dog friendly.

We were a large family group. The staff were friendly and easy to ask questions of even though they were busy that day. The food was a good selection, small but tempting menu. Prices are pretty standard for a london pub, not cheap, but good value I would say. We had a lovely time, would come again when I am in the area

Good pub can get very busy and noisy but who cares

Food options are so tasty and well done, all the staff is extremely friendly are welcoming, very well attended in special by people in the area. The drinks options are also perfect. Couldn’t recommend a better pub around.

I love this pub, its probably my favorite pub in Kensington area of London. The food is great and also very consistent. A nice selection of cocktails and ales as well. Very cozy dining area. Pet friendly. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I have visited atleast 5 times and each time is just as good. I have even started booking my hotels in this area just to go to the hereford arms.

Lovely staff, really busy but great service. Great food. Great pint of London Pride. The staff were really on the ball. As soon as someone left a table it was cleaned and offered to someone else. Will definitely go there again. The food is way above normal pub food

Great traditional pub. Superb ambience. Excellent Fullers London Pride. Food great and reasonable prices (esp for London!). Great service - very friendly (Avery especially was excellent!). Good for families. Only (minor) downside is that more chips with the burgers would be a good idea.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I moved back to the UK in August and live near this pub and have been waiting for my kids to come into town to try it out for Sunday roast as they are from America. I had the turkey Sunday roast on New Year’s Eve and didn’t even make it to midnight with my family because I was wrapped around the toilet for the entirety of New Years Eve and New years. This was the only thing I ate that day and the only explanation for my sickness. I had food poisoning and for the next 48 hours even the smell of food brought it back up again. This is extremely disappointing and I will not be returning and hope they do better so this does not happen to someone else.

A truly convivial pub for lunch with friends and a place where you can hear people talk as background music -if there was any at all?- was just that: background. So conversation and chatter were a real pleasure. Ales fantastic and lunch was perfect and good value. A lucky find based on google reviews and we were so happy we picked it to catch up with longtime old friends

We called in Sunday evening for dinner, we found a table for two , ordered two courses and were delighted with the quality of the food and service we received, would definately recommend it

Loved the atmosphere and devoeand staff were great but disappointed with the food. Ordered the lamb which was probably my fault thinking it was a roast. It was slow cooked lamb shanks. But really disappointed with roast potatoes which weren't. They were boiled. No I didn't say anything, staff were busy enough.

Great little pub with a nice outside seating area; tucked away enough so that it's pleasant to sit outside, but very easy to get back to main streets! Food was cracking, with the typical pub fare done well. As a group of 4 we opted for various sandwiches and wraps, all of which come with chips, and a few sharing plates; the squid and chilli jam was great, though could have used a little lemon! Only knocking a star off service as they're clearly understaffed; those on the bar were doing a great job and were helpful and fast, there just weren't enough of them for the lunch rush!

Had a lovely meal here on the way to the Royal Albert Hall. The pub has a really cosy atmosphere and the service was excellent. Our food was delicious especially the haddock and chips. Special mention to our server Diana who was so chatty and friendly and made our visit even more enjoyable. Thank you. We will definitely visit the Hereford Arms again!!

We rocked up on a Sunday evening without a booking after visiting the nearby Science Museum - although it was very busy - we were soon found a table by the very friendly team. Drinks orders were promptly taken and served followed by our food order - again promptly served despite the restaurant being extremely busy. We had roast beef and roast pork with all the trimmings- all superb. Our son had the fish and chips- which we had read in previous reviews was good - pleased to confirm the reviews were correct. The food was top notch and great value for money - but what stood out was the service- everyone went out their way to be friendly, helpful and completely professional. So well done Fullers and all the team at Hereford Arms. Highly recommended.

What a fabulous experience. Booked this for a 60th birthday treat for a friend. Haven’t been before so always a bit apprehensive when it’s for an occasion but needn’t have worried at all. The food was amazing all cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. We were served by a waiter called Owen who couldn’t have been more professional, welcoming and friendly. He made our whole experience so memorable. I have raved to friends and family and will definitely be returning soon. Thank you

Perfect place for an easy and authentic dinner in South Kensington. We didn't have a reservation but the staff made sure to arrange a table for us. Food was extremely delicious - especially the toffee pudding was a 10/10. It also seemed as if the place is very popular under locals - we really felt as if we were part of the London community. Highly recommend!

Had two meals here, one on a Sunday in late September, one on a weekday in the same time frame. Sunday was stellar! Had delicious food, excellent service. The weekday was not as nice. The food wasn't as hot (I, creature of habit, had fish and chips both times) on the weekday and the fish a bit soggy. It's a decent place for a meal, but nothing you are going to rave about.

Fish and chips were too oily. Other dishes' portion sizes were too small for my taste, had to go out and eat again someplace else. Aside from that it has an excellent atmosphere, loved the decor and it's a good place to go have a drink in, will be coming back for pints.

Liked it so much I came for lunch two days in a row. Great atmosphere, delicious food and attentive service (they even surprised my friend who had a cold with a warm cup of tea with honey, on the house). Fish & chips to die for, excellent chicken roast and desserts - especially the chocolate marquise. Will be coming more often.

Elegant and quiet pub for those who prefer a pleasant atmosphere. Lunch was fantastic and much more than the regular pub food. Nice location to have lunch after visiting the Museums.

Great experience — this place really has the old fashioned English pup energy. The fries (chips as they say) are great, potatoey, but still crispy with the triple fry. I recommend the fish and chips or the cottage pie, both are great and well priced.

This is a very busy, noisy pub in an area with several hotels, and a limited number of quality restaurants. We went twice on a recent trip to London. The portion size for the “Sunday Roast” was particularly generous, otherwise average. We didn’t have reservations in either case, but the pub was able to fit us in on the condition that we finish in 90 minutes, which we were fine with. Food quality and presentation was very good. Service was a little uneven; our waiter on the Sunday visit was exceptional, the mid-week waitstaff a little less so. Very nice and reasonably priced Rhone red wine available. Highly recommended, but think about reserving…
