The Hayloft in Solihull

I was searching for a venue to celebrate my partners big birthday and found the Barn via Tripadvisor. Always a risk if you have never visited a place in advance especially as it was going to be for twenty-four family and friends. I need not have worried, from first contact until paying the bill all went smoothly and the event was a great success. Food orders were placed in advance and this meant, that although it was a big group, everyone got their food at the right time. Quality and quantity was spot on and no complaints from anyone who joined us. Flexibility as well from the staff on the day as some hadn't ordered desserts but lost their resolve when it came to the crunch! All in all a great experience and the birthday girl had a great time.

This is the second time we have visited this restaurant. We had Sunday lunch. Good portion of beef but a bit over cooked for my taste. Vegetables were cooked well but overall food was only warm and not hot. Servers did not offer accompaniments. Had to request mint and horseradish sauce. Desserts were good. Service was ok. Very expensive and we get better value at our local restaurant.

Went for lunch with friends, the food was absolutely amazing, I had the salmon starter & scallops which were to die for, my friends had Camembert , apricot chicken & greens, got to taste all and food was stunning, service was excellent lovely warm welcome from a blonde lady and our waitress was very polite and helpful, definitely going again .

My girlfriend is meeting a friend next weekend for lunch, and wanted a different option to where they usually meet, so we took a drive out to here to have a look. Lovely farmers shop and a good selection for lunch. It is slightly expensive but it is all local produce. Worth a visit, we are going to try the restaurant at some point

We stumbled across this restaurant by accident, although it is not far from where we live. What a great find. We had a superb Sunday breakfast; the food was great (classic, vegetarian and vegan breakfasts in the mix), the service was very good and the atmosphere and views were lovely. We will definitely be back.

We have eaten here several times and it never disappoints. We had the burrata starter which was amazing although there was not enough focaccia for the burrata! Then we had the fish and chips and the burger, both were excellent and we throughly enjoyed. Couldn’t squeeze in a dessert. Lovely atmosphere as usual

We went to the Barn on the first day of their new menu (end Jan 2024). Plenty of choice and our selection was absolutely delicious, especially the salmon and the scallop starters. Lovely fresh food and excellant service.

Been coming here over the years as we are lucky enough to be local. It was our first choice to celebrate mum's 79th birthday and we weren't disappointed. Food and service from all the staff was just fabulous. We had a lovely time so Thank You, and look forward to returning soon .

I have been coming here for over two years now, and each time I come I love it even more. My Daughter first introduced this to me when she went out with her friends. I took my Daughter here for our Mother Daughter Xmas Dinner. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are outta this world. It is a little pricey, but worth every morsel. The room was decorated lovely for Xmas and other guests also say hello to you and are also very warm and welcoming. The deserts…… well what more can I say…… heavenly and so tasty….. yummmmm. Downstairs they have a shop/bakery and butchers. They sell jams, marmalades and grocery. Also cutlery. It is not a massive shop, but the butchers meat is from the animals on the farm that they breed very humanly.

I booked a table for 7 of us at the restaurant and had read the rave reviews about the food and service. We weren’t disappointed. The food was amazing! Delicious and beautifully presented. The waitresses were very obliging and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The whole experience was fabulous and I will highly recommend to all of my family and friends who are thinking of going. Well done all of you!

We enjoyed our visit to see Father Christmas at Berryfield Farm. It was well organised, unrushed, entertaining and good fun with a great friendly Father Christmas. The Elve show was hard for parents to hear from the back and could have benefited from a microphone system but the children gathered round at the front so that they could hear and they had a good time with the fun enthusiastic elves that we trying very hard to please. Plenty of opportunities to ice gingerbread and pass time visiting the reindeer and the little goats, whilst we queued for about 20 minutes to see Father Christmas, before visiting his toy shop and choosing from a lovely range of presents. Then it was off to the ice skating which we found tricky because it was very slippy and at risk of a fall injury without the penguins that we thought should be free. We have such a good experience with friendly staff and a nice rustic venue that our party of 10 stayed for an enjoyable evening bar burger meal which was delicious. The event was a bit more expensive than most competitors but we felt that it offered more activities and made a good day out for the children, so we have no complaints and we would visit again to this newly developing local Christmas venue that we would like to support and encourage.

We came to the Christmas event on 17/12/23 we are a family of 4 with a 9 year old and 3year old. Overall we were very disappointed with our experience and thought it was extremely overpriced. The elf show would have been good if we could have heard what they were saying, the actors seem to be doing a great job but you just couldn’t hear them over the background noise. The gingerbread decorating was a little underwhelming where they had to share icing and was done in about 3 minutes. We were taken through to see Santa, normally you find there is a little bit of a build up, or a light trail but it was just Santa behind a curtain. He tried his best but was very young and not that believable. The choice of toys were good but my nieces cuddly toy was faulty and then found a lot of the others were too, and wouldn’t do up at the back once stuffed. Lastly was the reindeer which was crammed and my children barely got to spend any time feeding them. We were in and out in the hour and very disappointed, last year we went to Thomas land for the same price and got a lot more value for money. We love the restaurant, but this needs to be looked at for next year or the price needs to be reduced.

We booked a table weeks in advance for Brunch on Sunday at 11. The email confirmed we had the table for 1hr 30 minutes - plenty of time for one course. We arrived at 11am and was told that we needed to order ASAP because a table of 7 needed our table after. A bit perplexed by this, we quickly ordered and waited around 30 minutes for food to arrive. We finished eating before 12 and plates were cleared. Waitress came over at 12 and asked "Can I get you anything else?". We ordered some coffees. She then said - oh let me check because I don't think you have time. We explained the booking confirmation email said we had the table for 1.5 hours and half an hour is plenty of time for a coffee. She came back to the table and said she couldn't take our order and we needed to leave the table by 12:10/12:15 to allow for the table of 7 to arrive. We left the table feeling very rushed and not at all like valued customers. If tables are allocated for an hour and a half, then that's what time the customer should be allowed. This was our 4th time visiting the Barn. We won't be back.

A lovely meal with an excellent view. The belly of pork was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately it was served with only 1 potato. The food portions are small but tasty. A good wine list - the Merlot was acceptable.

We celebrated our Dads 80th Birthday and as always the service and quality of food was exceptional. Everything was taken care of including a simply amazing birthday cake that tasted as good as it looked. A special evening was enjoyed by all and we look forward to many returns to one of our favourite restaurants.

I just can’t fault this place. The service is incredible, the staff are so attentive and friendly. The food is really lovely and well presented and to top it off, it’s set in beautiful surroundings with lovely interiors. Not to mention the wonderful farm shop on site. Highly recommend

Second visit after loving the first and whilst the food, the burger, was delicious the service wasn't so good. We were outside on the bales/tables and prepared for the inclement weather. On arrival most tables had parasols but ours and another. As the clouds arrived we asked if we could move to an empty table that had a parasol. Was told no! We then asked if they could put a parasol on our table, was told no they didn't have anymore. So we sat and ate our dinner. Another couple came in, were seated then asked to move to the table with a parasol. Absolutely no problem!As the rain arrived we moved ourselves to an empty table to try to stay dry as it had a parasol. As soon as we moved the same waitress who said there were no more parasols promptly brought out 2 and placed them on the tables that were missing them...including the one we moved from!Unbelievable!I'd go again because the food is really good but certainly would ask for anyone other than that waitress to serve us.

Such a gorgeous afternoon, delicious Sunday roast and in such an idyllic setting. Couldn’t recommend this place enough it’s so lovely, staff are so friendly and often come to visit the shop also!

The outdoor setting is simply lovely, so why spoil it with loud, unpleasant music at breakfast time. I felt that £8.95 for a small cooked breakfast (excluding coffee) was expensive. Despite being covered by metal domes, the food was tepid....however, the sausage was delicious.

Arrived at Berryfields today for my booking with friends, two tables booked only to be told that they hadn’t a reservation.I’d phoned and booked two outside tables last Monday. There were 8 of us ladies, so we ended up having to put up with two long benches along edge. We had to get sandwiches and coffee etc, from the shop. Which were for Some were not very successful.The fillings were falling out of some of the sandwiches, with no napkins provided the ladies were getting in a bit of a mess.The ladies thought that they’d be sitting at a table, having G&T’s something nice to eat all to no avail.So we won’t be rushing back for a while after today’s experience.I should have taken the gentleman’s name when I phoned last Monday afternoon .

I just wanted to drop a note to say how well we have been looked after today! After what has been just a really rubbish time. The barn was our first outing as a family! Well your staff completely blew us away. Totally were amazing. They let the kids be kids and let the adults have a nice time too. All the girls and boys are such a credit to this place. Sam is especially amazing as she knows how to treat people like humans! Infact I’m even coming back just to see her! Amazing place. Amazing food. Amazing staff! 10/10!

First visit to the new Bakery at Berryfields . Congratulations to you all all,what a great addition .During these turbulent and difficult times you have risen to the challenge magnificently!So I bought freshly baked sour dough loaf Bagettes,and Tin loaf.Individual quiches,large steak and kidney pie.Naughty Chocolate Brownies and delicious Apple crumble slice ( one of my five a day )From the Butchers a great leg of pork and steak from their own stock. Houmous salad vegg and Cheese. Milk butter eggs . The charming efficient staff offered to carry my bags out but I a managed just! But thank you for offering I popped back in for a takeaway coffee.The quality is five star and the service equal all super clean and beautifully distancedWe have the quiche for Lunch delicious I felt safe and looked after I would recommend everyone to visit for all your culinary needs avoid those crowded supermarkets Thank you Berryfields

Due to this current pandemic my daughter and her partner were due to have there reception at the Barn at a date in late November, they decided to bring everything forward and with the help of the Will and the staff at the barn managed to get the last available spot before the second lockdown, they will be eternally grateful. They did get married the day before.Can I say that everything that we asked for was catered for and nothing was missed, even a fork lift that Will had arranged so the photographer could take aerial photos, even though only a maximum of 15 people could attend it was excellent.A special mention to the chef (and his staff) he popped in to see if everything was ok he got a thoroughly deserved round of applause, his food was amazing and we had a few courses all cooked to perfection brilliant and thank you.So inclosing I would have no hesitation of recommending the Barn at Berryfields for what ever you choose to do from a meal to a function it is gratifying to know that there are still people about who will go that extra mile to help in theses trying times.

Visited with my family and was really impressed. Online booking was easy (and free) and staff who greeted us at the entrance were really friendly. All covid measures were in place and it get nice and safe. At the checkout the lady explained how all of the pumpkins were grown on their land and all harvested by the family. It has a lovely family feel to it. Will definitely be back to use the other facilities and next year for more pumpkins. Thank you

Me and my family went for hot drinks after visiting the pumpkin farm, this is our local establishment. We asked for the bill - the lady brought this over it came to £13 we gave her a £20 note to which she said “ do you want change? “ I was so shocked she had the cheek to even ask this. I have eaten here I’d say 5/6 times and never ever been asked this. Of course I want my change, if I wish to leave a tip I will do so of my own accord. Just shocked at this it ruined our visit and put me off returning here again.

Loved my visit to this place a few weeks ago. They have friendly staff, lots to choose from on the menu, most of which is grown within their fram.Good measures in place to manage risks associated to covid 19

My husband and I had a lovely evening here. It was our first visit and definitely not our last. The atmosphere, the food and the staff were all perfect.

The food and service was fantastic. Caesar salad to start was the best I’ve ever had. The combination of the crisp lettuce and well-done bacon created a crunch like an autumn twig underfoot. The chargrilled chicken and generously dressed salad with croutons were a wonderful match. The Sunday roast of the Hereford beef was sublime. Generously portioned and perfectly cooked with ample servings of all the trimmings made it delicious. The Yorkshire pudding was to die for. The vegetables on the side were well seasoned and nicely cooked and I’d give a kidney to get my hands of the recipe for those roast potatoes. To finish, the sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream ice cream was fabulous. Without a doubt the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. Finally the service was exquisite. Jenna ensured our glasses were never less than half full. The wine was sublime as was the Tribute that is frankly unsurpassed as beer offerings go. The espresso martinis to end the evening were incredible. 10/10 - would eat and drink here again.

Yet again another wonderful meal for our family at Berryfields. You could not get better anywhere - the meat is local and gorgeous. And the vegetables are so fresh and varied. We held our Golden Anniversary there last year too!!! Brilliant.

Excellent service. Excellent food and a lovely atmosphere. We took my parents here to celebrate their wedding anniversary. This was the first time they had been out since lockdown as they were concerned and worried around social distancing. They were put at ease straight away when the saw the restaurant were taking the government guidance seriously and felt safe. Food was amazing and service was impeccable

I had to right a review which I don’t do often. The family and I had the most lovely brunch. The views on arrive are stunning; staff really pleasant (all staff!); food was quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Really worth a visit. We definitely be going again.

Booked a table for three today. Plenty of hand sanitizer on arival, place was clean, spacious which made us feel safe.We ordered 3 Roast leg of Ram Hall lamb Barn mint sauce – pulled lamb shoulder & redcurrant marmalade and 2 side orders of Berryfields sausage, sage & onion stuffing wrapped in Berryfields streaky bacon.The main course was amazing along with the side order of fresh home grown vegetables, which were beautifully cooked and the flavours were amazing. Lovely to taste great yorkshire puddings and the roast potatoes cooked to perfection.The only thing I would pick up on, the sausage/sage and onion stuffing, was bland and over priced. We ordered two sticky toffee puddings, which were best we had ever tasted. My wife had the Rhubarb & Grandpa’s apple crumble and looked lovely.Staff were friendly and this place is a brilliant restaurant find and well recommended.We visited the farm shop and thought it was ridiculously over priced, so walked away empty handed.I have rated this place on the restaurant experience. You have to try this place.

My wife and I visited for 2nd time and weren't disappointed. The food is perfectly cooked, uncomplicated and a credit to the chefs. Local farm produce enhanced by the skill in the kitchen. Friends had been here and mentioned it to us , so we decided to give it a go and we wasn’t disappointed , I have the steak burger which was very good but must admit had some food envy when the other half had the mezze of chicken tandoori On a flatbread it was amazing , had a bottle of wine and then the dessert which we shared but was ok ,Overall a great place to go and definitely will be back

Visited today for lunch with my mum. Easy to book online and all the Covid19 safety requirements were in place. We were lucky to sit by the window so we could enjoy the stunning view. Menus are online using the bar code scanning device with mobile phones but if that sounds too technical they do offer laminated menus! My mum had the roast pork belly which she says was absolutely delicious. I had the katsu curry which again was really tasty! We chose to have some nibbles to start with whilst we waited because the pork belly takes 30 minutes to prepare. You must try the citrus feta - it was one of the tastiest things we’ve ever eaten. Staff were friendly and chatty. It’s not a cheap meal but I firmly believe it’s good value for the quality of food. (£50 for two of us inc soft drinks). We’ve been before and we’ll go again. Nice setting and lovely venue. Friendly service and pretty good food. We enjoyed ourselves but did question the value - £8 for the tiniest piece of avocado on toast no bigger than my hand.

This was our first Sunday lunch out as a family since our little boy came along in April so this was quite a big outing for us. I was nervous that he wouldn’t sleep and would cry the house down and so initially asked for a quieter table. The staff were so accommodating and offered to move us which in the end wasn’t necessary as he fell asleep almost instantly and allowed us to enjoy a fantastic roast dinner with all the trimmings. The food was excellent - I had pork and my husband had beef - both cooked to perfection. Covid restrictions were observed but this didn’t impact our experience at all - we were spaced out and hygiene standards are clearly impeccable. Can’t rate highly enough, thanks again :)

Just met here with friends as we had such a lovely visit in August for our wedding anniversary. This time we sat outside to enjoy the beautiful view in close proximity. Staff were absolutely excellent and so helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble - including blankets which were offered without asking to keep us cosy when the sun went in. Food was delicious too! Highly recommended for a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

We have just had the best breakfast, in a fantastic setting. The food was excellent, staff very friendly and efficient. What a lovely location We will definitely be back.

Never fails to disappoint. Just love this place. Well presented food, top quality produce. Lovely and clean, professional staff, the atmosphere is just so warm and relaxing. And the breakfast is well worth the money. I only had one qualm today and that was that I asked for brown bread toast instead of sour dough as I hate sour dough and I got sourdough. I didn’t want to complain as I hate complaining.

It was my first time visiting and I was so surprised by the decor, it was lovely, modern and sophisticated. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the staff were all lovely too. The tandoori chicken thigh starter is honestly one of the nicest dishes I’ve ever had, better than anything I’ve had in actual Indian restaurants. It was such a big portion size too, I personally could just eat it for a main. I’d definitely return just for that dish! Loved it!

I never write dining reviews. Ate here last night for the first time and am sad to say was disappointed with the meal. Beautiful decor, light and ambient and the staff was really friendly and attentive. I didn’t think there was enough distance between the tables for two (couple) compared to other restaurants we’ve eaten in during covid. The menu was nice and varied and the starter was very tasty but tepid which spoiled it, serving on stone cold plates didn’t help. For the mains we went with steak (can’t go wrong really), again my meal was tepid which spoiled the taste. I had cabbage and leeks as an alternative chips which was absolutely stone cold and a bit tough and tasteless to be honest. Even the garlic butter wouldn’t melt as the veg was so cold, to liven the veg up. My husband said his meal was warm but not hot. The mains never came till around 9:30pm so it was too late to complain the meal was cold and we was hungry and didn’t want to eat any later. I had sirloin steak which was tough to cut and chew, it was stringy with thick gristle - I’ve had better from the supermarket. We may have just been unlucky or eating late may not have helped, the the restaurant was buzzing with diners. Service was slow. Meals need to be served on hot plates, I was surprised they was cold. Hot plates keep your food warm while you eat it, I even serve my own meals on hot plates. Not sure if we’d return.

Superb evening all round here on Saturday.We where staying at the Marriott down the road and found this place online, what a gem.Beautiful setting, trendy tasteful interior, wonderful service and magnificent food! The fillet steak and burger was first class, garlic bread to start and sticky toffee puddings to finish, all spit on and lovely friendly service throughout.Can’t ask for more, highly recommend

Beautiful restaurant with lovely views and ambience. Very friendly staff. Whilst 2 out of 3 fillet steaks were slightly overcooked, they were extremely tender and tasty so it wasn't a massive issue. The rack of lamb we expected to be pink, unfortunately it was well done. The staff were amazing and we will definitely return.

Living in Coventry/Balsall common and having frequented meridian on many occasion I never knew this place even existed! That said it was a great little find, lovely views, food and service and I’ll be visiting again to purchase goods from the farm shop! Great outdoor space too!

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but honestly, if you haven’t been yet, you MUST go!!! This place is an absolute hidden gem and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Me and my partner found it for the first time 4 weeks ago and we have been every week since! We honestly can’t get enough of it and each week we have taken more people with us and they agree. The food is absolutely phenomenal and always so fresh, full of flavour and beautifully presented! The staff are lovely and couldn’t do enough for you, and the restaurant and it’s outdoor surrounds are just perfect/ I have severe food allergies and get great anxiety when eating out, this restaurant is probably the only place I can fully relax and feel confident that my allergies are considered. The head chef has been out to me a few times so he can get a full understanding and each visit has adapted my dishes so they’re still as gorgeous as everyone else’s, without the things that’ll make me poorly. NOW BOOK THAT TABLE

We were taken here by one of our sons and his partner. Post COVID booking is essential. Modern decor and brilliant views over the countryside. The restaurant is on the first floor, but they do have a lift.The staff were polite, friendly, helpful and efficient. All the ingredients are from the farm or very local. There is a good vegetarian/vegan selection. I had the belly pork which practically ate itself. Made the mistake of leaving the crackling until the end. My wife had the fish cakes - really nice. The portions were filling, but not overly huge. Certainly worth repeat visits.

I came here for the first time for lunch and had a lovely window seat overlooking the fields. I felt the staff had taken lots of precautions to make it safe with plenty of hand gel available, asking people to use their phones to avoid the need for physical menus and there was plenty of space around the table. I was surprised none of the staff had masks or visors on however. I had the cod and samphire which was delicious. We all ate different things and everyone was very happy with their choices. I spotted the fish cakes on another table which also looked very good so I may give them a try next time as I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely meal and friendly service

Lovely lunch.Great service whilst being very busy. They went to the effort of making more fish cakes as they had run out , this was a lovely gestures for very much appreciated and enjoyed. Lovey busy vibe in a well run restaurant, smart and informal atmosphere. Variety of dishes- all well cooked and tasty.

Visited for a coffee and cake last week. No cake. No masks. Menu on phone only. Poor people if they didnt have smart phone.Very little social distancing as far as the staff were concerned. Wont be returning anytime soon.

First visit and cant wait to return. The food was amazing and the environment and views overlooking the fields were fantastic and so calming. Couldnt fault the food or service and highly recommend.

Enjoyed an amazing breakfast today. Husband’s Breakfast Pizza was huge, he had to bring half home. My pancakes were light & fluffy, beautiful crispy bacon & a perfectly fried egg. A word of warning though, the 5 stack is massive! Delicious smoothies & coffee to wash it down. Best meal we’ve had since lockdown!

Booked last-minute for a ‘Bales at the barn’ table outside. Fantastic service, pizza and selection of nibbles! Wonderful view of the fields and cows too - We will be back!

Took a friend last night for birthday. The food was excellent the chicken skewers were lovely. The cod was excellent. The service was excellent. Will come back. Well worth a visit.

Rang up half an hour before opening and they said they could squeeze us in for 45 minutes as they were fully booked! Turned up at booking time, service was fab, breakfast was lovely! No faults :)

First meal out after lockdown had to be at The Barn, Berryfields, catch up with my son and daughter over a late breakfast... food wonderful as ever and the staff are so helpful nothing too much trouble and felt Covid safe. I also had a birthday meal for 20 in the private room before lockdown and it was just perfect everyone complimented the food and staff. Looking forward to lunching tomorrow with friends and visiting the farm shop.

My first social meeting since beginning of March. I had been here before with my friend for brunch and knew it was worth overcoming my lockdown for years now that we could go out. The food is amazing. Each mouthful is perfection. I am quite particular as it’s my friend and we could not have coped better ourselves. The chutney is with the chicken skewers were delicious and my salmon was cooked to perfection. Every mail had a beautiful twist. Writing as lockdown has eased, this is a bright and airy place anyway but there is no issue with social distancing. I am disabled and there is a lift that brings you up. My friend had booked so the contact details were already obtained. Friendly staff explained The menus were available online or they did have laminated menus which were cleaned if we wished to use those or that they could read or explain any parts of the menu to us. I thought this was particularly good as I am visually impaired. Cleanliness throughout and delicious food. Like the good old days but the new normal. Well done

We have visited The Barn at Berryfields a number of times, the food is always great and staff are very friendly. Oh and the view is wonderful!

We are regulars for a reason. We use the farm shop and the restaurant. We’ve done breakfast, lunch and dinner here so we’ve sampled the full range. You get excellent food without any pretentiousness. The staff are thoroughly lovely; Johnnie has a soft spot for Sam The premises are spotless. We eat out a lot so we know good when we see it. It’s the whole package for us. Good food and good people in a well-run business. And a lovely setting too.

Since the lockdown we have been fortunate enough to have a Sunday Roast takeaway each weekend, it’s our weekly treat as we are having to shield due to covid-19 and not “allowed” to leave the house for anything other than medical or essential reasons.I don’t travel with my husband to collect the meals to keep me as safe as possible, but he tells me he feels safer going to The Barn than the hospital as all staff are wearing gloves, masks, and social distancing is being strictly adhered to. There is a limit on the amount of customers allowed in to the shop or restaurant (to collect meals) at any time.The meals when they arrive home are still piping hot, we live 15 minutes away, they are off excellent quality, we do order sides off cauliflower cheese and dauphinois potatoes, they are not really needed but just so delicious we can’t resist them.We do phone ahead with our order but that’s only in fear that they will have sold out......so I ask myself why am I writing this review and letting the whole world know about our little treasure.........well everybody deserve a treat in these tough times. Just can’t wait for the restaurant to be up and running again.Thanks to all the staff, front of house and behind the scenes.

We all know we are living in difficult times, Lockdown and restaurants closed. Nevertheless, some things do need to go on and we were pleased to see that The Barn was offering a take out service. So, yesterday, we ordered a full Mother's Day dinner for three. It was well cooked and travelled well back to our own dinner table where it was consumed without any complaint. Ordering was easy and calling to pick it up was quick and there was plenty of room for social distancing! I have no doubt we will repeat this during the coming weeks and send best wishes to all at The Barn, hoping you get continued support from your many grateful customers.

We booked a family lunch for 20 people to celebrate joint 70th birthdays. The function room was perfect, with natural light, flexible table arrangements, and easy-to-use projector and sound system. Will and the team could not have been more helpful in the planning of layout, timing and menus, for a group aged between 2 and 72! The food itself was delicious, served perfectly by friendly staff led by a dedicated person. Good wine list, too. The Barn made it possible for us to relax and enjoy the day. Highly recommended.

Had a birthday meal here in private room, the whole venue was great really enjoyed. Thanks to the staff for lovely service who couldn’t be helpful enough especially with the amount of meals we had on the day and changes we made.The food was fabulous and would highly recommend to anyone.Will definitely be visiting again soon

What a gorgeous meal we had and served by such lovely staff who could not do enough for us. There was 26 of us, every meal came out swiftly, piping hot and tasty with not one complaint from anyone. Great atmosphere, delicious fresh food and a great variety of drinks.We will definitely be going back

We experienced a wonderful lunch at The Barn today to celebrate a family birthday. With sweeping vistas across the countryside, as the backdrop to our lunch, we enjoyed mouth watering food from the al a carte menu, especially liked the idea of taking a small or large meal option choice.Really excellent quality local ingredients and show cased in the meals we were served, could not of been any better! 5 out of 5.

Went to this establishment for my husband's birthday. Have had several breakfasts there before but never a evening meal. Good selection on the menu. The fillet steak is to die for & the presentation is excellent. The staff are very pleasant & helpful. The prices are a little more than we usually pay but the quality more than makes up for this. We had a seat by by the window with a pleasant view over the fields. The atmosphere is warm & friendly. Will definitely return. There is a small shop by the entrance from which you can purchase the same meats as used in the restaurant. There is also a ample free car park. You need to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

On Friday had an excellent late lunch with fine wines and beers, so nice to taste really fresh food in a very relaxed atmosphere with very attentive staff, this was our third visit and always come away impressed

I was really looking forward to going here for my birthday dinner. Especially after reading all the good reviews. We found it okay, but not outstanding. We will visit again, probably in the summer when we can take advantage of the beautiful views.
