This is a great place. The food is good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Like most Scots of my generation I have an aversion to salad, but the salad which came with my panini was a delight.

Visited with Mum for a cup of tea and a wee something. Mum's bakewell tart was lovely and my scone just delicious. Would thoroughly recommend.

The Old Pier Tearoom

29/03/2019: Visited today, twice! In the morning for homemade cakes, absolutely superb. We chose a fruit loaf cake, almond tart and for me THE best chocolate berry brownie I have ever tasted.
04/06/2019: Very lucky to get a table in this very popular tea room. The cheese and ham toasties we had were served with salad and coleslaw. Melted cheese oozed out and plenty of ham too. Lovely coffee and a slice of brownie. Very reasonable prices.

Little Rock

10/07/2019: We have eaten here on a number of occasions and it is a great addition to the eating places on the front at Brodick. It is always bustling with people and you might have to wait for a table. We had a dog with us and they allow them in a certain part, so we didn’t have much of a wait. The food is well cooked and presented and they have a good number of staff so you won’t feel neglected for service. Like anywhere else on an island don’t compare prices with mainland equivalents, you have to pay a little more to get produce to Arran, that’s island life. All in all a good spot for lunch.
05/05/2019: We stopped off for lunch after dropping our bags at our hotel and found Little Rock when we were out for a walk. The weather was good and we were lucky to get a table outside. We just a needed a sandwich and both decided on Coronation Chicken on bloomer bread. Served with crisps and salad garnish I don’t think I’ve had bigger sandwiches anywhere. The filling was about an inch thick. Along with coffees it was a treat. Would happily recommend and would make a return visit. Nice to see dogs welcome.
