Amazing food will definitely be back and reccomend to everyone! The staff and ambiance are brilliant.

Excellent food! We went as a group of 14 and there was plenty of room for us. The staff were patient and polite. The service was fine. I would say the food is the highlight. I would definitely recommend the goat cur.... full of flavor. The drinks options were a little limited. But still had some good beer on draught, shame the IPA wasn't available. I would definitely recommend going here. Tasty food, great value and nice staff. Thank you very much!

Hands down the best Indian/Nepalese food I've ever come across 😋 especially considering the price. Just over £50 for 3 courses, coffee and drinks for 2 people is incredible value for money! The chilli squid and garlic duck were divine, so full of flavour. The only slight negative was the attitude of the person who took the order initially. Wasn't rude per se but just abrupt. Asked to try kingfisher before ordering, was told it's the same as cobra, Indian beer. Wasn't sure what to pick out of three dishes, they're all different types. How hard is it to make a recommendation?? Still hasn't stopped me from wanting to go back as the food was like nothing else and other staff were efficient and pleasant.

Best Indian food ever, so fresh and flavoursome, was absolutely delicious, wish we had as nice a Indian on our doorstep

Excellent evening with brilliant service and tasty fresh food, we have done all the Indian restaurants around the district but this has become our No 1…will definitely return with friends and family.

No great, not the best service and definitely not the nicest food. The Nepali dish was the same as a dansak, extra sugar her and chilli. Both countries try’s had just frozen veg in which is crap! I don’t recommend in any way

We only ordered takeaway from here before which has always been consistently good so we were excited to try it in person. The service was attentive, friendly and very efficient. The beer and food was utterly delicious.

This restaurant used to be in much smaller premises in East Grinstead. They were so busy that they had to move to bigger premises in Felbridge but the same good food and service moved with them. Five of us were there for Sunday lunch, two carnivores, two veggies and a vegan and we all found something tasty on the menu. Service is attentive without being intrusive, food is carefully cooked and presented and the final bill was perfectly acceptable. What more could anyone want?

Dined here whilst staying overnight near Gatwick. Nice meal, friendly staff but not the best Nepalese I’ve had and definitely the most expensive but that might be because of its location. But, it was very popular for a Wednesday evening. Goat on the bone £13, Gorkhali Chicken £12. Rice portion was quite small too.

Delicious food and amazing service. I thought I’d try something new and had the Hariyali Chicken Curry and it was so tasty - the best curry I’ve had in years. The curry was flavourful and not too heavy, I ate the whole thing where as I’d usually leave some. The sides, bread and currys my companions had were delicious too. The service was great, the staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us - even giving us a free drink at the end. Couldn’t recommend more, I wish I lived locally so I could come back again and again!

We stopped off at the Gurkha to take advantage of the lunchtime offer which is great value. We were really impressed by the quality of the food, having chosen from the Nepalese part of the menu. We highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning again to enjoy this food with other friends. the service from Rajesh was excellent and attentive. The items we had were as follows: SHEEK KEBAB 9/10 CHICKEN / LAMB MOMO 8/10 MANGO CURRY (flavoured mild and creamy curry with Chicken) 9/10 TAWA LAMB 10/10 OKRA side dish 9/10 KEEMA NAAN 10/10 Coffee was good too!

We have been long time customers of The Gurkha and have never been disappointed. The food is incredible and all the flavours are amazing. The staff are very friendly too

First visit to The Gurkha since before Covid. I didn't regret going back at all. The service was excellent and the food was superb. I had the King Prawn Puri to start and it was fabulous. To follow I had the Himalayan Lamb. The spice seasoning on both dishes was perfect. You could taste the individual flavours of the spices in each dish. Anyone who is wavering about going here to eat, just do it. You'll get a warm, friendly greeting from the team and an experience you may not have had in other Nepalese/Indian restaurants.

First time in a Nepalese restaurant and a very good experience. Friendly, attentive staff and a new twist on Indian style meals. Try the Hariyali curry - don't be put off by the green colour (due to the mint) - it was delicious.

Very poor takeaway unfortunately, and not the first poor one we’ve had from here. Arrived late and very cold. When I phoned I was challenged by a rude man who effectively told me I was lying. I was offered 10% off my next order. Unfortunately there won’t be a next order.

After giving precise delivery instructions on how to locate our door my partner had to run after delivery man before he drove off without delivering our meal, as he was knocking on neighbours door even though it is signed saying 118a @ rear! He was quite rude to her also made her feel as if it was our fault he couldn’t find the address! Strange cause we’ve had 2 previous takeaways without problems!

The food was SO GOOD! I can't wait until next time we have guests for a good excuse to break the diet!! I had a chicken Rogan Josh which was great, such a nice flavour and perfect amount of sauce. As always - amazing food, consistently amazing. As always - random timing. 2 hours late in the past, immediate calls giving a different time from the one quoted often, and - today - a 7.30 original time was delivered at 6.50. Lucky we were home.

Our new favourite place. We're vegetarian and don't like spicey food so usually stayed away from Indian style food. But the options here are fantastic for us. Loads of choice. And top quality food. The junglee bhaji is our favourite, they're amazing. Can't wait until next month when the Mrs says yes to another take away.

Called the restaurant man was incredibly rude. Food was over we over 2 hours ago and when I asked for an update (for the third time) I was told it would be at least 15 minutes again. All that was ordered was two chicken tikka and a naan. Hardly a difficult order. When I asked for a refund restaurant were rude and said you’ll have to ask just east. They haven’t cancelled the ordered despite the fact it was supposed to be here an hour ago so I’m unable to get my money back. Furious and will NEVER order again.

Ordered a chicken tikka masala and I counted 6 pieces of chicken which were small cubes how ever the container it came in was full to the top with sauce.. It was a family birthday, we all gathered at the Gurkha restaurant for a great meal. We were greeted and shown to our table. Given our menus and chose the dishes for the evening. Our needs were met at every point, the food was fantastic. The staff are beyond reproach and very curtious. The dishes are well priced so they dont break the bank. I did have one issue, they provide a take away service which isnt a problem the only issue is the constant ringing of the phone. Turn the phone into a visual instead of audio or move the phone to back of house. There was Music but I didnt feel it was from Napal. Background music is a completely different kettle of fish and I think they would benefit from some guidelines in this area. But we were there for the food and that was superb. Thank you for looking after us.

When I ordered it it stated 35-50 minutes, but the estimate was then 80 minutes once ordered, and it actually turned up after 90 minutes and was warm at most. Very disappointed
