went for dads birthday, friendly staff, amazing food will defo be going again😁

Absolutely cracking wee spot, made feel very welcome. Food was amazing and a great evening with live music and a few pints of the black stuff

Good food and reasonably priced by today's stannards, and that wasn't buying the cheapest dish on the menu. Will definitely be back

We had a lovely meal here, attentive staff, great views if you sit up at the back. They had a log burner and a good Christmas feel. We enjoyed it here, food really was excellent.

Fantastic inn, staff are top class and the food is fantastic . The village would be lost without the inn and All their staff . If ever visiting groomsport make sure the inn is on your todo list

Excellent bar. Well run. Great staff. Good food. 2 log burners keep it cosy in winter months. Good Guinness. The chef is to be highly commended. The Favourites Platter was excellent, and our vegetarian wants them to know they nailed the Halloumi Wrap better than anywhere in London. Highly recommended.

This is definitely a hidden gem in North Down. Reasonably priced high quality food with a great view. What’s not to like? Always a great atmosphere as well

Quick stop for a few pints while walking the coast path , nice selection of beers , friendly staff , great smell of food from the kitchen was tempting.

Lovely wee restaurant, 2 minute walk from the parking lot. Walk in through the entrance door and it's a pub atmosphere, but past that it's a restaurant setting. Has beautiful lovely tables beside the window that looks out on the sea. Has tables outside for sunny days. Food is very delicious. The chicken stack is probably the best in northern Ireland!! Highly recommend it. 🤤👍 overall good place and has live sport to with music.

Staff and service was good the food however was appalling ordered brie x4 small squares of rubberized offering arrived side salad dry slither of dressing lumps of cranberry the chips I ordered where meant to be triple cooked I believe chips arrived white in colour and hard on the outside I didnt complain as my partner gets too embarrassed his meal he said was for the price appalling the pub in general looked as if it had not been properly cleaned marks on table dust everywhere . The chef must of been off today £50 not well spent I feel for the staff 😕 having to serve such miserable offerings.

Took my wife here today for an anniversary celebration. We were impressed with how quickly they took our order and brought our food - it’s never nice to be waiting when you’re hungry!! Food was delicious and portions were quite generous. Staff were friendly too. Hope to be back in the not too distant future.

Awful, very unfriendly staff, food was only warm. The only thing enjoyable with the food was the chunky chips. Ordered a plain chicken tenders with skinny fries, it arrived covered in a sauce! We won't be back.

Went in to what used to be a busy wee local pub at 11:50 on a Saturday night to find less than 6 people in, and we were greeted with "last orders have been called". We managed to negotiate a round of pints, but no more. Very disappointed

Lovely pub,great service and excellent food

Just dropped in for a drink after a walk along the beach and really enjoyed it! There is great balcony out the back with a view of the sea which was an ideal spot to enjoy a cold drink. Service excellent, staff friendly and although we couldn't stay for a meal due to previous commitments, the food being served looked delicious. Next time we will definitely have a meal there! A lovely place to visit.

A nice local pub with local entertainment and near the sea

This wee pub is a gem. Our local. Fabulous food. So tasty. I'd rather come here everytime than a big restaurant! The atmosphere is always inviting and friendly. They could do more with the upstairs though (in my opinion) as downstairs is always busy.

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Prices are very very reasonable and the atmosphere is very cosy (especially in the winter months)

Lovely Sunday lunch had by all of us. All of us had a different meal, and all very much enjoyed them.

Really nice country pub. View from the terrace is epic. Prices are pretty reasonable and a decent choice. Has sports on TV and runs a weekly quiz too

Lovely Sunday lunch. Good view over the harbour and food well served by staff and tasty. Returned for another Sunday, 2 course, meal but was a bit disappointed with the roast beef which was not as tender as expected.. Overall, good place for a meal.. Chicken stack for Saturday dinner. Lovely with salted chili chips.

Good bar. Great music today. Food good. BUT I know it's a sports TV bar BUT to have live music and TV screen switched on right above a singer is diabolical, so rude. Absolutely disgusts me

Had nice Xmas diner there on Xmas eve. Food was good. Atmosphere was good. And Warren brought the music. Brilliant lad.

After getting caught in the rain and heavy wind we arrived at the Groomsport Inn. We were very warmly welcomed and were given a table beside one of the log burning fires. I had scampi and proper home made chips and my son had a burger. Food arrived piping hot and was well presented and tasted really good. The girl who served us couldn’t do enough for us. By the time we left we both had dried out and were prepared for the walk back into Bangor. Will definitely return when the weather is a bit better. The view across the loch once the rain and clouds cleared was spectacular. Very well priced and great variety of drinks on offer.

We went here on a Thursday night which was steak night and booked for about 5pm. We were seated in a lovely area looking over the water but be aware if you're looking a quiet meal it could be hit or miss as the bar is right beside you and on this occasion there were quite a few regulars who'd had 1 too many and couldn't hear how loud they were shouting. So my mum had the fish and chips dad steak and chips and I had the steak with mash. The steak was beautiful chips looked homemade but weren't so avoid the mash was bland there was no flavour to it at all. Anyway the coleslaw was gorgeous and the pepper sauce and the fish. Overpriced but then its groomsport its as well we looked at the bill as they charged us for a pint and a glass of wine that we never had. Oh the desserts were lovely. Wouldn't rush back.

Good pub...Sat outside as weather was nice...

Service was terrible. 4-5 staff and not much interest in taking orders. Had to get the staffs attention. Good atmosphere thou and would of stayed for at least 2 more drinks.

We recently were in Groomsport and decided to call in for lunch at the Groomsport Inn. We had a very good lunch, the fish dishes were excellent, and all served by friendly and welcoming staff, in a relaxed and laid back bar setting. We will be back!

Loved our time here. AMAZING food, excellent friendly service, lovely customers who we Met & chatted to all evening. A great location! Thank you!!!
