The Grill & Grind in Great Yarmouth

This place is incredible value for money. Fast Food was never like this. Found The Grill & Grind whilst in Yarmouth in August, so made a bee-line for it on our return in October ans was happy to find it was still open. I find it almost unbelievable that a place like this (being a proper shop-fronted establishment) can offer such incredible value for money, with Burgers in a bap, or a jumbo sausage in a roll, either one with or without onions, for just £1 (yes - one pound!). Don't be fooled by the price either - I had Hot Dogs (as I'm particularly partial to sausages for some odd reason) and this was not a cheap budget sausage. The quality was meaty and tasty. I came back three times so that should say something. I compare this with many 'burger bars' and 'vans' that offer smaller fare for anywhere from £2.50 to £3.50, where the hygiene is often questionable. I recently went to a Firework Spectacular at East of England Showground, and was invited to spend over four times this (£4.50) for a similar product - so no comparison really. The 'chef' has a 'wok' style cooker running constantly, with a limited supply of burgers and sausages pre-cooked and kept warm so on placing an order, all he has to do is heat the food for a minute and place into the bun, so there's hardly any waiting. My only complaint was that on my last visit, he seemed in a hurry to heat and deliver too quickly, so my hot-dog wasn't all that hot. I suggest people keep an eye on this and if it looks too quick, ask him to cook it a bit longer. Other than that - brilliant :)

Excellent value. Very hot. Served quickly and nice staff. We had foot long hot dogs. Jumbo dogs and double cheese and bacon burger everything was perfect.

Great freshly cooked food at a very good price. I always go for the foot long hot dog. Also has a great selection of sauces.

The tastiest burger I’ve had in a long time. Delicious, hot, good size and a very reasonable price. So tasty I regret not having the 1/2 pounder. Friendly service with a smile. Will definitely go there again when next in the area.

Stopped here for a burger the other day when shopping in Regent road, we always stop here when we are in Yarmouth. The burgers and chips are really nice and freshly cooked too as they cook them on the spot in front of you, everything is so reasonably priced and the guys are really lovely who own this place. The place always looks busy and that represents how good the food is, give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

Surrounded by overpriced, stressy food places (we fully expected this in a bustling seaside resort) we were saved by the Grill and Grind. There was genuine shock when we saw substantial burgers, hot dogs etc for £1. Nothing on the menu is more than £4, the food is piping hot and filling, everything is tasty and the guys serving couldn't be more helpful. If what you want something quick and easy to keep the children (and hangry dads) happy, make a beeline for this place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Absolutely amazing food. Have been coming here years when I visit Great Yarmouth. The staff still remember us and I think that’s so lovely. Good quality food for a great price. Can’t find a nicer burger anywhere. I will be back x

A foot long hot dog and a 1/2 pound cheese burger with chips unders £7.00, cant go wrong. Very well cooked and quick service, A very good fast food place and will use again.

Fabulous burgers, so reasonably priced, well cooked and nice staff and best of all just over the road from us!

The food is next to none! The service is brilliant and the team are friendly, helpful and observant (observant in the fact one of them saw a young girl struggling to put ketchup on her food and walked around and helped whilst making it fun for her and she instantly seemed comfortable with a stranger helping her) The food is cheap but the quality is high end. Best burger I've had in a long while. Highly recommend!

Stopped here on a day out in yarmouth could not fault the service very friendly staff but the prices were unbelievably cheap pound for 1/4 pound burger or hot dog 1.50 for footlong hotdog all was tasty and not greasy. prices like this are hard to find any were let alone on the busy seafront were over inflated prices are quite often the norm.

We lovely this place.We go here everytime we are in Yarmouth and we go to there a lot.We have eaten in and out from here.On Regent Road in Great Yarmouth it is extremely popular.The food is gorgeous.The Coffee is lush.The prices are amazing that's why it's busy.Milky Coffee,a mug of tea,a burger with friend onions and a Foot long sausage with onions served in a proper baguette for just a little over £6,You can't fault it.No wonder this place is so popular.The lads who work there are friendly and chatty and polite.You don't wait ages for your food and there's no microwaving,it's all cooked fresh in front of you.It's clean and tidy.The best eat in/take out Burger Bar in Great Yarmouth.Go there and you'll see why.Give them a try.You won't be disappointed i promise you.

This place is really cheap and tastes amazing!! Highly recommend, proper food, fills a hole!! Good for families.

Absolutely awesome meal blooming husband won’t stop telling all how excitingly tasty his burger was.(double cheese with bacon and onions) my daughter had a 1/4lb burger was overwhelmed at its flavour I chose a foot long sausage no roll it was steaming with flavour staff were confident and friendly and price of meal was outstandly cheap for the quality meat and produce used. Everytime i come to Yarmouth i visit here was surprised to see it open in the winter but was a bonus for me can't fault it staff always friendly £1 for a burger or hot dog, hot chocolates etc always out of bacon whenever i visit but apart from that fantastic food.

You smell this place before you see it! The aroma of fried onions is tantalising.The shop front is open to street so you can see the burgers and hotdogs being cooked before your eyes. You can eat inside, there are a dozen or so tables. We didn't see any signs of toilet access though.The best thing about this place however is the prices! With burgers at £1.45 and coffee at 99p, it's got to be the best value for hungry families or those on a budget.

We stopped by for a quick bite, fab hot dogs and burgers and only £1 for delicious hot dog with onions. Pleasant staff, good pavement seating. Really enjoyed it here.

Everytime i come to Yarmouth i come here sometimes more than once very good service food is brilliant always out of bacon when i visit but very clean inside seating drins reasonably price 99p for a burger or hot dog definitely worth visiting .

burgers are huge and only 99p but they are very tasty! grandson had the hot dog which was also very big for the same price. fantastic if there are a few of you on a budget.

saw the prices of the burgers to be very well priced, so decided to go with the Texan 1/2 pound burger was not good at all tasted of pure cereal or rice and could be a veggie burger for all I knew, and another off putting thing was what looked like a pubic hair ln the ketchup bottle push handle column, big mistake you get what you pay for.

We came here twice during our visit to Yarmouth, we love this place. The burgers are so tasty and the place is always clean and tidy.

We stooped for a couple of cheese burgers and a couple of hot dogs for the price we weren't expecting much but were we wrong they were delicious and friendly staff as well

Great place to eat and drink, friendly staff and food is amazing, myself and my partner stop everyday for coffee and a chat, also open everyday all year. we would recommend grill and grind to all our friends and family, lisa and john

Tasty great value hot dogs were sampled. No frills, great prices. Small area to sit at the back of the grill make sure you order at the front. Nice cold drinks too.

We stop here everytime we go to Yarmouth. Nice service. Burgers are basic but for £1 what do you expect! They fill you up alot more than maccy ds. Coffee and tea is very good quality and you can eat in for same price. VERY NICE COFFEE! Amazing value go and give it a go and the big hotplate they cook on is amazing to watch. Only one less star as burger is frozen i think but still quite fine. Very quick service

We visited here a few days ago after being recommended this place by my mum who visited in the summer, we ordered 3 cheeseburgers, 2 coffees and a can of drink which was all under a tenner. The people serving were so friendly and accommodating as my son wanted a couple of burgers without the rolls, being Autistic he is fussy with food and the people did this for him with no hesitation.You order at the front of the shop then you can sit inside or out, one of the gentlemen even found a straw for my little boy to drink his drink with which I thought was very kind. We shall certainly be returning next time we are in Yarmouth, keep up the good work.

Walking along Regent Road in Great Yarmouth usually lends itself to feeling hungry and thirsty especially with children. The Grill & Grind sells great food at great prices, no frills burgers, cheese burgers, hot dogs, foot longs, bacon rolls etc. Drinks again are great value both hot and cold. Ideal food and drink for on the go, to take away, or you can eat in. The venue has an indoor eating area. A must on Regent Road

located I the centre of bustlng regents road just fst foods jumbo sausage burgers all cooked on front counter of street seats inside only 2 tables outside to close to people smoking on public benches and crowds passing by with dogs etc the foods are all ocer cooked the rolls arw over warmed in microwave and end up hard 2pounds for jumbo dog 99pence for normal burger extra with cheese 99pence cup of tea would not try this again but hey if your on a tight budget with a large family could be worth a visit

Staff were were really friendly and welcoming.Burger was lovely and great value for money!! And even the dog enjoyed her sausage

Still can't believe I got a cheeseburger this good at this price! Don't know how they do it.. if you're out with the kids and are fed up of it costing a fortune here is most definitely the place to go

this is a recent addition to the regents road food eateries if your single or a family on a holiday budget this is a great cheap place to eat burgurs hot dogs etc all 99p plus much much more located far end of the famous regents road close to seafronf opposite the catholic church you can eat in or sit otside this is one of my local food stops in the summer season

Good place if you want a cheep burger to eat whilst walking the street but the quality of the meat is not great, I guess you get what you pay for.

Whilst on holiday we used this twice, both the burgers and hotdogs were excellent, also had coffee's which again were really nice, 4 of us ate and drank for £12, The burgers were not full of grease either.Excellent place to go, can sit inside as well.
