The Greyhound Inn in Vale of White Horse

This was the sixth time we have been to The Greyhound with friends for lunch. The service is always really good and the food is exceptional. We would definitely recommend going there to friends and family.

A rather lovely evening out. A great range of high quality food in a pub environment, which was convivial and friendly. Good wine list.

This is our third time here and the food was outstanding yet again! So worth the trip over to this gem of a place. Enjoyed a quiet drink in the bar followed by an amazing chicken dish and beautiful sticky toffee pudding that almost had my husband ordering a second helping! Gorgeous

Simply delicious Sunday Lunch plenty of meat and delicious nut roast too. Nut roast had full roast and its own lovely sauce. Often veggie is not served with full roast but this was. Eater for our dog too. Delicious desserts.

Another excellent lunch at The Greyhound. Three of us chose the lamb and one had the Asian vegetarian option. The food was excellent and the service was exemplary.

This was possibly the best birthday 🎂 party 🎉 we could have wished for. The alternative arrangements offered us were perfect and we all enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere. The food (particularly the pork loin!) was excellent and we all enjoyed the wines, both red and white (Montepulciano and Afrikan Ridge). Desserts were great also, especially the rhubarb!!

A wonderful pub, with beautiful food and the most friendliest, courteous staff. The lunch time set menu was excellent value. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent range of dishes on the menu. The food was delicious. The midweek lunch menu was particularly good value. Our server was pleasant and professional, and judged the pace of our meal perfectly. Our group was on an annual meet-up, so were pleased to feel we could remain at the table and chat for a while after the meal.

We all had great meals served by friendly and attentive staff. The wine list is exceptional. There was good off street car parking. Full marks to all.

Such lovely food, different to everywhere else. Lovely flavour combinations and the most amazing dish ever the Smoked Haddock Souffle.

Fabulous old country pub, great food and service and friendly staff. We only moved to the area in September and we are now regulars. The Sunday roasts are divine and there is an innovative and very tasty dessert menu.
