La Pergola

17/12/2018: We were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in. They were struck with how busy they were, wondered if we made a good choice. We had! It was lovely to be able to drive out of town and park easily in their large car park.
11/11/2018: This rates as the best Italian meal I have had in a long time. Excellent selection of main courses and refreshingly good desserts. In particular the profiteroles looked great and ice cream was flavoursome. The restaurant was heaving, no wonder with the quality of food, but service was still prompt and attentive

Pig and Abbot

03/03/2019: What a classic....a wonderful country pub serving excellent fare, served piping hot in generous quantities....the home made pies are simply the best ever. Very good value all round...already looking forward to returning.
23/01/2019: Lovely rural pub. Friendly and efficient service. The homemade pies are out of this world and are worth travelling any distance for. The beer and wine are well kept and varied. My husband loved his pint of Wherry. The pies are very filling so go with a good appetite. We didn't manage a starter or dessert!
