We came here for dinner and had a really good three course meal, with added intermediate courses as a free extra. The lamb was particularly special, as others have commented. I can’t really fault the restaurant and I would very happily be back.

The Grange Inn is a little bit outside of St. Andrews and located in an old cottage. The style is a mixture of real heritage in combination with modern art on the walls.

Kingarroch Inn

28/05/2018: We visited Kingarroch last Sunday for lunch with four friends. Over the years it has been a regular place for us to visit with friends and this visit was one of the most pleasant. Menu choice was excellent and offered at a fair price. Seat location was fine but a little cold for some of our party. Staff were exceptionally attentive and pleasant. Kingarroch is what it is and we have rarely if ever been disappointed, regardless of the owners. One of our most enjoyable visits helped by the excellent of our company.
19/04/2018: We had a 2 course lunch here today, and we were most impressed. There is a small car park at the side of the building with access down a few steps. The decor is very nice featuring the stone of the old building which has been totally renovated. We were warmly greeted in the very busy restaurant and shown straight away to our table. We were using an Itison voucher which entitled us to a starter and a main course each for £16. The selection on the menu was good and we decided on the soup of the day and a chicken parfait served with oatcakes. Both were delicious. Our main course was the home made fish pie which again was very tasty and the filling changes every day. The fish pie was served with leaves however a more substantial meal could be made up from the selection of sides on offer. A good tasty meal for the money. Would probably eat here again.

Craig Millar @ 16 West End

10/03/2018: We had lunch with friends at Craig Millar with an Itison voucher and to say it was value for money would be an understatement. The location is stunning and we happened to visit on a winter’s day when the sun was shining and the restaurant views were at their best. The lunch menu was excellent and to the satisfaction of all of us. We had two courses each followed by coffee. Food was high quality and beautifully presented. Extras were exceptional and the staff and in particular the head waiter first class. My first visit but more than happy to recommend to others.
16/04/2018: Had our third lunch here over the last few months, food served was up to expectation, however rather disappointed that the menu changes following our last two visits was very minimal. With only three dishes to choose from (each course) perhaps a more frequent change...
