Great service from the young lady today(Saturday) smiley service with personality. Had the pistachio slice and Viennese whirl. Good value and tasty. Yummy frangipane tart(tasty, buttery and fresh) and black coffee for £3.95. Great value for fresh goods. Service was attentive and polite. Will be back again.

Ordered on Deliveroo several times lately - the breakfast baguette is so good. Fully loaded and a challenge to finish! Prices are a tad on the higher side, but when you compare to Starbucks which is £5 a toastie it’s good value and actually fresh! Support local ✌🏻

I bought two eclairs for dessert. But they were not real eclair . they were fake eclairs dessert. a complete disappointment. Those who produce these eclair must have never tasted real eclair in their lives.

Lovely cozy bakery with lots of options to choose from. We loved what we ordered- sourdough bread, Apple Danish, fruit tart and Mac n cheese. Very fresh ingredients and pleasant staff, too. Will surely recommend.

I ordered two large quiches and a chocolate cake a couple of weeks ago, collected yesterday. They were absolutely delicious, the chocolate cake decoration was exceptional. I think the cost was good value for money as well.

I was quite disappointed with the two bakery items that I bought today to say the least. Absolutely disgusting that they can sell food that tastes like it’s old. The chocolate eclair did not taste fresh(rock solid). The vienesse whirl was also old. Will never be going back.

One woman is so rude. Prices are a joke. Panini just put in the oven for a few seconds. It was soft. Won’t be returning.

Staff rather abrupt and dismissive they make requesting certain things for YOUR food as though you shouldn’t be asking and reply with ‘we can’t do that’. Food very average and manners below average

Really great food. Cooks from fresh. Staff are very polite and spot on whatever you ordered. Very clean and tidy.

Visited here for lunch and had a cheese mayo and cheese baguette. Absolutely lovely and overflowing with filling! Finished it off with a chocolate twist. Again delicious. Really good value for money too. This is definitely somewhere we'll be visiting again for lunch. Really lovely, welcoming staff too.

Since they change their coffee machine and price increase by 40%, their Cappacino is not worth to buy at all, it's flat.

Honestly I have never met such rude staff. I have been coming here for years and not once have any of them been polite. I understand its a busy place but seriously! They have now lost me and my friends and family

Avoid. Have never experienced such rude, unhelpful staff. I’m a care worker and went to ask about a particular item my client requested and never in my 20 years of life have I been met with such rudeness. Avoid at all costs. With the look the woman gave me you’d think I’d killed her cat.

Person who served me entered the wrong price for the items I bought into the till which I didn't know as there are no prices on anything. Did not tell me that so I gave what was displayed. Gave me a rude comment back when I gave her less, as she expected me to know she had keyed in the wrong price. Very rude, no customer skills and the doughnuts I bought tasted like they have been bought from Sainsbury's in the mall but at 3 times the price

Love the Mocha and Almond Croissants. Has cheered me up during lockdown. I am confused with the bad reviews. Have been going there on and off when I am in town for years and always good.

Good Taste Bakers are a little bit of normal in these difficult times! The bread, pastries etc are delicious. They have a wide variety of breads and endeavour to get your favourite if you order on a Friday. Lovely staff and there is something for everyone icluding Vegan pastries etc.

i was eating here with my granddaughter and found the staff very rude, as the food was not of a good standard. the service was very poor.indeed. i will not be eating here again.

Rude and ungrateful shame on you

Shocking food. Nasty nasty standard. Bought a tart - it fell apart with nasty jelly and rotten strawberries inside , the baguette was filled with not best or fresh tasting tuna. Everything went right into a bin. The two older ladies serving at 8am were more interested in their gossips than serving customers. Rude and the counter did not look clean. Of course no masks either - breathing down on our food- yuck! Handling cash and then touching food... unhygienic! Wear gloves self entitled women! Abysmal .

Great choice of products but customer service needs to improve. The counter staff are not welcoming or friendly and it is very off putting.

We use to go there from time to time because of the back garden. We were also buying bread and pastries from the bakery down the street but I think it is too expensive for the quality of food you receive. The staff there is not very polite and the hygiene is poor. Last time they charged me 22£ for 4 jacket potatoes which in my opinion is way to much :)

This is one of many coffee shops and cafes dotted around Camberley. Visited Weekday mid afternoon and have to say it was a bit disappointing to see empty shelves along the counter with only a couple of pasties and filled baguettes (but more choice in the way of cakes and tarts). I guess most food items are shipped in daily and when they’re gone, they’re gone (which might explain why there was only us and a couple of other customers). They have a different pricing structure for eat in or takeaway (which I think is VAT related?). Staff are friendly and this branch is a lot cleaner and fresher looking than the Farnborough branch we visited a few days earlier.

It's not the best, the servers could be a little less harsh tone-wise, and maybe not shout to the others in the back room. The garden area could do with a good coat of paint.However, there's a nice atmosphere and it's a nice place to stop off at when you're out shopping.

Stopped here for a break with my husband after shopping. I had a herbal tea and my husband a coffee. The chairs had crumbs all over them and the table was not that clean.The server was very curt and aggressive when speaking to us, she made us feel very unwelcome which was strange considering there were only 2 other customers there at the time. We will not return there again , there are lots of other lovely friendly places to get a coffee in Camberley.

Pleasant and warm on a day when needed, the young lady serving us had only just started in the shop and was delightful, i had a delicious bacon and camembert panini and coffee i will certainly eat there again.

Good place for a snack or cake with your drink. There is a good selection of both hot and cold food. Good amount of seating but it gets busy. In good weather there is extra seating outside both front and back. Service is good and prices reasonable.

We popped in for a quick bite to eat whilst out shopping. The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble especially when one of our party was a fussy teen! Our food was cooked to order, piping hot and tasty, the homemade minestrone soup was particularly good. Very reasonabley priced and you’re greeted like an old friend.

I enjoy Good Taste. Staff are friendly & helpful. I go there at least 3 times a week. I love their hot chocolate.

Popped in for some cakes, OK not the cheapest retailer on the high street, but it is worth that little bit extra, very tasty Chelsea bun & bread n butter pudding. There is als a sit down area where U can order other light meals with drinks.

Great place to relax, meet freinds and enjoy a coffee whilst waiting for the train which the station is only a 2 minute walk. I also had a bacon roll which was good. Not busy early mid week which for some of us in a bonus. More of a personal touch than Costa or Starbucks within the town centre.

Killing time before an appointment, found this a great place to have a coffee, without constant interruption from staff . Coffee was great, hot and flavourful.

So much love to go there. Staff is friendly costumer service excellent. the place interior design with sofas and shelves with books feels like home. The food is awesome.

Unfortunately this place has gone seriously down hill in the past 2 years. The things I’ve witnessed is disgraceful. The manager is rude to her staff and customers. I enjoyed the coffee made by one of the Baristas but as I went for my second she insisted they should go clean the toilets and the coffee she made was cold. Loads of flies in the kitchen and I have no idea how that kitchen is allowed to be open. They thrive of making money by putting up prices every 5 minutes, staff are certainly mistreated considering new people seem to be working each week. Go back 2 years best coffee house in town!!

Looking forward to a good coffee. Both my wife and I were very disappointed at the Good Taste cafe. Coffee very weak and cake fresh from somewhere else. At least it was relatively cheap. Have left the drinks and will walk to somewhere else.

This is a lovely coffee shop that sells fantastic coffee and cake. Very helpful and friendly staff... my only word of warning is that the tables on the pavement are very wobbly and spilling your coffee is almost guaranteed

I met a friend at this cafe which remains my favourite in Camberley. The have good seating areas with a choice between wooden tables and chairs and leather sofa and chairs. The coffee is good and the food of a higher quality than you will find elsewhere.

I only bought a caramel milkshake which they were selling for £3.25. When I received it, it was just frothed milk with a caramel syrup that they use for coffee’s. Nothing like costa ones that are £2.95

Must admit the coffee blend is one of the best around at the moment, thoroughly enjoyed! Great place to just sit and catch up on my admin. They also have a garden which is now open, enjoy it while the sun is out :)

Whilst driving home, we stopped off here. There isn’t too much in Camberley (well we didn’t see it if there is), but this place was nice, quiet, surprisingly large inside.

Cosy cafe in the town centre. Nice change to the usual coffee chains (Costa, Starbucks etc.). Friendly staff and tasty coffee. Lots of cakes/ cookies etc on display. Lacks any healthy or "healthyish" options- definitely room for improvement...

I visit here on a weekly basis. The staff are very attentive although do sometimes get the order wrong through lack of concentration. Sometimes if they are busy they will bring my order to the table for me as I visit regularly.

It's a nice friedly place to go too relax

We have used this coffee shop for a number years and always enjoyed both the coffee and the scones. But, in recent months the fruit scones have been rubbish. They seem to be OK until you cut them in half to spread butter. They just fall apart into a mass of crumbs which makes them very difficult to eat and impossible to apply butter. You might as well forget the butter and ask for a spoon to eat it.

Noticed the coffee shop while walking through camberley, the cakes looked lovely, and coffee tasted great. However, this was overshadowed by the way the manager spoke to her staff, the lack of politeness and managerial skills stood out, it really put me off. I certainly won’t be recommending this shop to anyone, nor will I be visiting again.

Aweful aweful breakfast. Scrambled egg blatantly done in the microwave and she said it wasn’t. Unseasoned food. I pad them £18 to piss me off, that was worth it.

Popped in for brunch. The staff always seem a little bit frosty and disinterested whenever I'm here but the coffee and other drinks are good and I really like their pastries and other bakery goods. A lady took my tray but also tried to whisk away the number for my food for some reason. I had hot chocolate - wish their Christmas menu was a little more obvious as I didn't notice they had special flavoured ones until after I'd ordered! It's always quite busy and is comfortable and cosy. Lots of people alone doing work. Just a nice place to sit and chill.

We ate lunch here on a busy weekend. The cafe is very popular with shoppers and offers an extensive menu of sandwiches, cakes, snacks and light meals at lunchtime. We chose to dine outside at the rear of the cafe in their pleasant walled garden, which was one of the reasons for choosing this cafe. However, we had to clear a table as the staff had not done so.

Poor experience today . Clearly says on the board - small flat white for £2.55 and Medium for £2.95. I asked for small and Barista charged me £2.95. When I asked her why, she said they only do medium and large for flat white. So I paid almost £3 for a small flat white contrary to what is advertised on their board. Total rubbish. If this is how they are doing business in a local neighbourhood, they won't last for long...

I came in after being recommended by a colleague. We were greeted at the counter by a surly and patronising young woman who we later realised to be the Manager who seemed to speak to her staff in the most unprofessional way. We had to clear a table of dirty dishes to be able to sit down with food and litter all over the floor. When we eventually received our food our drinks were cold. A shambles unfortunately, with miserable staff, I suspect due to the lack of organisation here. We will not be returning.

Husband had goats cheese and caramelised onion panini and I had jacket and beans. Food was simple but good, staff friendly could sit in the garden if you wanted.

He estado en el café antes y bien. Sin embargo, hoy en día me saludaron con que nos dijeron que la cola estaba a la izquierda de la barra de un hombre joven que parecía abrupto para ser un supervisor o gerente asistente. Él parecía estrés, así que paciencia y no parecía responder. Sin embargo me quedé donde estaba en la cola y, procedió a pedir la comida y la bebida. Pedí una guarnición de ensalada de tomate en lugar de cocinado en mi queso sandwichera, pero acabé con un queso patatas sandwichera. En general, quedé decepcionado con el servicio que normalmente es bueno.

Tuvimos un desayuno excelente en un precio realmente bueno en este café. Puede añadir el desayuno básico por 70 peniques por artículo. Agradable y sabrosas salchichas 2 rebanadas de pan tostado. Un gran té mans grande con una selección de uno o dos bolsitas. Personal agradable y amable que hacía la música cuando se le solicita. Sin embargo, ser más ruidoso al pasar el tiempo. De haber estado aquí antes de que hacer chocolate caliente y agradable bacon panecillos.

Its a nice place to come and relax and have a morning coffee but it is more like a traditional English bakery serving poorly made French croissants and other bakery products. The food generally is of a lower quality standard, fairly tasteless and not cheap either. It could do with a menu and quality refresh. Remove the over-weight buns full of sugar and topped off with icing sugar, and create more tasty and delicate produce worthy of the prices.

Range of patisserie is excellent and quality superb; you can tell it's fresh. Also its made-to-order hot food is great value and great at breakfast time. The staff are really helpful and seem to take pride in recognising and assisting their customers especially those who need a helping hand. It is one of the few individual places in Camberley that feels like it is dedicated to the local high street rather than being a transient chain.

Grumpy, scruffy staff serving stingy portions of bad tasting food, where "fresh fruit" is suspiciously similar to "frozen fruit". Should have gone to Poppins!

As this place is marketed as a bakery-café on the Good Taste website, I am absolutely astounded that the bread on Sunday is consistently stale. We’ve been coming here for years, the food is usually ok during the week and Saturday and we’ve always found it funny that the bread is always stale on Sunday, today was no exception with the sandwiches served being extremely stale.What made today’s Sunday visit particularly bad was putting up with the masses of un-cleared tables and dirty floor, the place wasn’t even busy, my croc monsieur was also massively overdone. All in all, a very disappointing visit. The only redeeming service is the coffee, it’s definitely one the best places in Camberley. This is no longer going to be a strong enough draw after todays experience, time for a new favourite café in Camberley.
