I popped in for a drink and got chatting to the owners and locals. Very welcoming, local beer and inviting feel. Received lots of local knowledge regarding places visit and explore. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a genuine local pub with local knowledge and welcoming feel. Let’s all keep these real places running and support local businesses in these difficult times.5 stars all the way.

The Globe and Cegin Morris is a quaint, traditional little pub. It's super cosy, especially with the fire lit in Winter and perfect for whatever tipple you fancy. The old style jukebox adds to the vintage authenticity of it and the locals are welcoming and friendly. I've eaten here twice, seafood pizza is out of this world and the Sunday lunch was one of the tastiest I've had (and I've sampled a good few Sunday dinners!) There's also a small, pretty garden for Summer evenings. Will always return whenever I visit Pembrokeshire.

A great place to unwind and have a quiet pint. Covid rules are followed so no worries there. Dog friendly so it was great to sit down enjoy a nice pint in a friendly atmosphere with the wood burner going. The food I had was excellent cannot beat a packet of dry roasted nuts with a pint hopefully when all this is over the kitchen will reopen and we can enjoy the brilliant pizza again.

Always enjoy a friendly welcome in the Globe. We are really missing visiting as part of the cawl crawl this half term due to lockdown. Strange negative reviews are appearing when the pub is shut as part of lock down and when the owners have been put in the spotlight for campaigning against child hunger. I always enjoy visiting this pub and would not be put off by the questionable reviews.

It's important to note that some of the poor reviews here are politically motivated and have been given by people who haven't visited the the lovely pub. Everytime we have visited we have been warmly welcomed and have enjoyed ourselves, the food is hone made and prepared with enthusiasm, the pizza nights are lovely and the owners are kind and warm hearted. A proper, old school, family run pub rather than a soulless chain. Love it.

Having been a regular visitor to the Globe and sampled the food there, I can honestly say that they serve best quality, home made, value for money meals, especially the Seafood Pizzas and the Sunday lunches! The staff are friendly but not in your face, and the huge fire in the winter is the best in the area. Lovely small but beautifully kept garden. Can't wait til it's open again.

It's great to go into a pub where safety is paramount. Well served local ales, friendly and welcoming environment. Very sad to see Jonny R review - he's not been to the pub or he would know key facts about the current set up, the kitchen is closed at the moment so he could not have been offered food. As it happens I was in the pub when that Simon sort was there, he was refusing to respect social distancing and got very annoyed when politely asked to do so. Sensibly staff then refused to serve him which made him even more rude and he ended up making everyone very happy by walking out. No, the Globe is a great place and when there is food it's good, pizza nights are a must for us as a family.

I love this pub. Having visited and lived on and off in Fishguard for few years now this is definitely one of the main reasons I enjoy the town. Brian and Jean, the landlady and lord, are just ace, they look after their locals and pre covid did great food. There's always a brilliant atmosphere both inside and out in the beer garden with customers of all ages and the juke box plays superb music. Their recent stand against the local MP's who voted against free school meals for children has made me even more keen to support them. They are caring, sound people with strong principles who watch out for their community. A proper local.

Nothing special inside...it is a small pub more for locals. Sunday lunch was lovely. Choice of Chicken or Beef with a roast potato, mashed potato, carrots, peas, cabbage, cauliflower cheese with sauce which was a bit runny. My brother and husband came in here early on a Saturday evening looking for somewhere to have a quiet pint or two. Apparently the beer was good but their visit was completely spoiled by three children whose parents seemed to be friends or relatives of the owners. The children ran in and out of the private areas and all over the pub, treating the furniture as climbing frames and literally screaming and shouting which, in such a small space, was hugely intrusive. My brother and husband made eye contact with the adults, who were clearly aware the children's behaviour was spoiling their evening, but made no attempt to check them at all. Consequently, they drank up and left, going elsewhere for their second and third pints.

This pub is getting a 3-star review from me because while the seafood pizzas they serve on Friday nights deserve 4 stars, everything else was rather a let-down.We emailed in advance to reserve a table and were told they didn't do that because people tended not to turn up. OK, that's their decision. We went in to find two tables empty, one with just beer mats and one with cutlery. As we were intending to eat we went to the table with cutlery, only to be told in no uncertain terms we could not sit there as it was reserved!! So they DO reserve tables (though they don't actually bother to put a reserved sign on them - you're meant to guess?).When the group came for the booked table it was evident that two of the four knew the staff, so presumably locals can book but not visitors. Then after their pizzas they were offered desserts, whilst we were not. So we left, but without the cheery goodbye from the staff which was clearly again only for locals.I've never known another pub, in however small or far-flung a location, that gives the impression of discriminating like this. All in all, not a good experience, only improved by the excellent pizzas (though why was there no food hygiene rating visible outside - is this not the law in Wales?).

Thursday night is pizza night, must confess we hesitated but thank goodness we stayed and ordered, The 12" Pizza's are amazing, again individually made to your order and the sea food one is to die for. Don't worry about allergies just mention them, mussels kill me, and they will be avoided.A treasure of a spot and if it wasn't 250 miles from home we would be there every week.

Nice Wadworths 6X beer on gravity. Also, pots of tea with home made cake! Friendly place and quiet to sit and read etc.

One of the few places in Fishguard serving food on a Friday night! It was pizza night and we had a very tasty pizza for a very reasonable price

We struggled to find anywhere to eat on a Tuesday night so stumbled across The Globe and were very glad we did! They had a specials menu of around 9 home cooked meals (incl veggie options that we've found hard to find in Fishguard). The food we had was incredibly tasty and very reasonably priced with mains a max of £9. Make sure you leave room for the puddings! The staff in the pub are friendly with an every changing beer selection available. The log fire makes it even more cosy. Definitely worth a visit!

Walked into a small clique of obviously small minded and ignorant people who all stopped talking to stare at us! After being ignored at the bar trying to order a drink and food we were told food wasn't being served, even though other people were eating! We left!!

A nice warm friendly pub as usual. The ale was good and the log burner made it warm and cosy. Dog friendly as long as they behave. I think the owners go on holiday every time I visit Fishguard I would love to try the food maybe next time!

I love this pub as it serves my favourite cider, is dog friendly, had a sweet peaceful beer garden and the Lovely Gent behind the bar (with the glasses) is adorable. This trip I came across what seems to be a local (?) known as 'Peter' I can honestly say he's one of the most ignorant men I have ever come across here in West Wales. You ought to get rid of this dead wood as all the other local drinkers are lovely. Good Luck x

Visited for a drink and possibly food on a Saturday night. It was like we had interrupted a small local gathering around the TV plugged in for the rugby. No warm welcome. Beer also flat. Decided not to eat here and left. Only positive is cool fireplace and ok for a look in at a traditional pub.

After walking out of the Taj Mahal Indian restaurant up the road because we'd been sitting for an hour with no food and then the owner had an argument with us, we found this place. The food is excellent and obviously lovingly made - the Thai curry is recommended - and the woman who serves it is very friendly and remembered us immediately the next night when we went back for more food. A cosy pub with a nice atmosphere, and handy for dinner on a Sunday evening; I think we went around 8:30 and they were still serving. Really good.

Whilst looking for somewhere for Sunday Lunch whilst on holiday in Fishguard we came across The Globe. The reviews were good so we thought we'd give it a go. On walking in to the pub a few of the older members of the group wondered what we were in for but they needn't have been worried. Very friendly landlady and staff and the food was absolutely delicious. Not pretentious, just straight forward good homecooked food.

A cosy little spot for a drink and a feed in the main street of Fishguard. Locals are friendly and helpful, real ale is available although only stored on a shelf at the back of the bar, not in a cellar.

The Globe is fairly small and has a very limited bar and menu, but the atmosphere is friendly and they make a killer cheese omelet with good chips! Not necessarily a family restaurant, but certainly a fine place to stop for a quick pint or to grab a bite to eat.

Nice pub, helpful staff, nice ambiance. Very reasonably priced drinks and food.My friend was vegan and the lady in the kitchen was incredibly helpful. The piece de resistance was when she suggested a pudding to my friend of soya ice cream and vegan brownie. My Sunday lunch was very nice indeed - lovely roasties, vegetables although the meat was a bit rare for my taste but all in a very nice meal. I'd like to try their normal menu next time I visit.
