Wow, just wow.... What a great Easter Sunday Lunch... The food was absolutely outstanding, the beef was melting in our mouths and I've never seen so much meat on a plate. Everything was cooked to perfection and those garlic potatoes were to die for.. perfect with a bottle of pino.... It was so so busy which was lovely to see but this did not affect us one bit. The waitresses were really quick with food and drinks and even brought a colouring book and crayons to the table for my 5 year old daughter. The Glen is a fantastic pub. Can't wait to return.

Called last minute to book a table, glad we did as it was busy. Lovely big venue, good menu choice and lovely desserts. Service was a bit slow at times but I think this was due to how busy it was with large tables.

Lovely staff, atmosphere and food. We'll worth a visit. I will be returning!

Fantastic food, ambience and service. My husband and I came across the glen one evening whilst holidaying at my parents caravan nearby and what a find it was, we regularly eat here for occasions now and recommend it highly!

On Sunday I ordered a take away roast dinner. It was cold, ice cold, like out of the fridge cold. The chef had clearly forgotten to re-heat the meal. The roast potatoes were just about Luke warm and the dauphinoise style potatoes were warm. Gravy in a separate container was hot but everything else was ice cold. Extremely disappointed.

Excellent fish and chips. Welsh Real Ale Battered Cod, 12 inches long, crispy and fluffy chips, with mushy peas and tartar sauce. I highly recommend to eating here.

I genuinely couldnt fault this place. The food was delicious, the service was very good and the location was ideal to where I was staying.

Sunday lunch ,all I can say is if you have false teeth don't bother, roast potatoes were so hard we couldn't even cut them, veg very undercooked, meat overcooked,very disappointing.

Great food, great atmosphere. One of the waitresses was a bit sharp, virtually throwing the plates on the table but, apart from that it was brilliant.

First time visited The Glen with friends. Very impressed with quality and presentation of dishes served and quantity more than sufficient. Good friendly and quick service and nice to be greeted with a smile. Very happy to make return visits.

I've been going here for the last 22 years the staff now are so nice nothing is to much trouble so nice to have proper waiting staff. The food is gorgeous 10/10

Just called in for Latte drinks today and a delicious shortbread biscuit. We have eaten here before and its a great place. Love the conservatory. Staff friendly and food is delicious.

Absolutely banging roast beef dinner

Held my mother in laws 80th birthday celebrations on a Sunday afternoon. 50 guests and we all had an amazing time. The food was exceptional and the service was superb. Highly recommend.

Got a table at short notice this evening. Staff was amazing and very helpful. Food was amazing and the best cheesecake I’ve ever had! 👌🏼

An unexpected chance for me and my other half to grab some dinner, we chose The Glen. Ease of access off the main road, decent amount of parking, we used the venue on a dark, wet, Thursday night. There was a couple of locals in the bar, with several tables of customers in the restaurant area, which was very pleasant. The restaurant area is a large glass fronted, structure to the side of the pub and I was worried it was going to be cold in there, however, it was most pleasant, surprisingly warm. We had two good meals, I had the fish, chips and garden peas, although the mushy peas option had been given to me. My other half had the chicken tikka curry, which came as 1/2 and 1/2 with poppadom and naan breads. Both meals were of good size, very tasty and reasonably priced. I had an alcoholic beverage, bottled tap water and my other half a soft drink. It came to £46 which we thought a reasonable price to pay. We would visit again and would recommend.

First official day of our few days away wanted to grab a spot of lunch. Mondays are difficult (due to closures everywhere) but this time lucky for us as we found this place. Lots of choices on the menu, certainly for starters, mains and sides (was a little too full to review the dessert options). All round lovely lunch. Nice staff, friendly but without the constant pressure of asking if all is OK. Definitely not to be missed and portion sizes are definitely value. We perhaps should have gone for light bite option!! Would recommend 👌

Popped in for a swift one before going home, haven't eaten there but the menu looks awesome.

A great little local pub vibe with some great menu options. The staff were all extra lovely and accommodating for quite big group and we had multiple large vehicles (emergency vehicles), with plenty of parking.

Went in for dinner. The dining area felt cold and didn’t have that pub warmth feeling to it. The food was ok but nothing I would shout about.

Lots of people seem to love this place and I have enjoyed meals here before. However I will not be eating here again. I had a vegan burger that was pretty bland and I suspected that it had been incinerated in a microwave. It had the texture and appearance of a dried cowpat and was so hot that it took the skin off the roof of my mouth. The bun was dry and stale. I think everyone else on the table was quite happy with their food so maybe I'm just being fussy.

We made a last minute booking for 4 adults and 6 children and from start to finish the staff were wonderful! Food portions were very generous and the desserts were delicious. The kids loved the outdoor play area too!

Went in Tuesday late afternoon/early evening very quiet. Beer garden is first class with a good play area for younger children.

Hidden little gem. Went here today for a Sunday lunch after winning a generous Sunday lunch for two. Althou fully booked still accommodated us when we phoned. Amazing generous portions to every course which I failed on each one. Very quick service. Lovely welcoming by staff. Food very tasty. Definitely recommend. Reckon just lunch would be enough. Wedding Lunch 10th June 2023, family, friends and children (age range from 4weeks to 80+) The perfect start to our special day. We couldn't be happier with how everything went. Expertly managed from the start, we were able to relax, enjoy good food and our company that had to travel locally, nationally and internationally to share our celebration. Catering for fifty guests, from booking to details and the day - nothing was too much trouble. The Glen's management, kitchen, bar and table staff made everyone feel welcome and continually ensured we and our guests had everything we needed and we were happy with the pace of the three courses. We were located in the conservatory which comfortably seated our numbers and allowed the pub and kitchen to remain available to cater for other customers. Having visited in the past, we knew the quality and quantity of food (which is substantial) and every adult and the older children all commented how perfect the venue was and how nice the food was. We had Gluton Free and Vegetarian options to cater for and everything was handled expertly. My wife and I would fully recommend The Glen as a venue for any celebratory occasion.

Cracking place. The Bar/Restaurant is roomy with plenty of inside and out door space. The prices are reasonable and the food is out of this world. If you haven't been then give this place a go. I plan to return this time with my partner. On this occasion I had a very pleasant unrushed lunch with my son. The portions are plentiful and arrived hot. My son had the pulled pork burger and he only just manage to finish. I had a light bite chicken and bacon in a creamy white wine and garlic sauce with fresh parmasan shavings. The portion size was smaller but enough. The eton mess sundae was the perfect way to end our meal. Sadly I forgot to take a pic of my main course.

Great food, enjoyed the Filo Prawns starters, the fish and chips was great. Pity meal was so filling did not manage to try desserts.

Stopped off at this wonderful pub in Haverfordwest, friendly, welcoming staff, very very busy, didn't book, but kindly found us a wee table in another room, very clean pub and toilets, had Sunday lunch which was a good price, for what you got, very filling and tasty, great out side area, and parking, which all was very clean and tidy too

One of the best Sunday dinners I've ever had

This was my first visit and wow, customer service,food and atmosphere were all wonderful. On arrival we were greeted and shown to our table in the conservatory, he even made a path for us through a very busy bar area. Food arrived promptly and all four of us enjoyed every bite. We will definitely be returning next time we're in the area.

The food was gorgeous and I have never had such good onion rings, I definitely recommend them. We had the Light Bites menu and we are glad we did because it was more than enough. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

I VIsited on Saturday 7th Jan 23, walked in and to be fair they fitted us in. Have ate at the Glen several times and the food is great i had the burger this time. Always have great service and will be definitely very back.

Great food. Staff friendly. We went on a Friday evening for the first time. It is a big place & it was packed,even a private function. Consequently it was extremely noisy, we could barely carry on a conversation so we left quickly after our meal.

Really lovely lunch here. Even the "lite bites" menu is quite substantial. Helen and Tom are such friendly, helpful owners. Can well recommend.

Went here today for a Sunday lunch and have to say, it was excellent. Friendly greeting upon arrival with prompt and friendly service throughout the sitting. The roast was superb. Hot food, hot plates, plenty of variety of veg and really tasty. We shared puddings, these were delicious too. Very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend 🙂

First time In Haverford West, wife says it's lunch time, noticed The Glen and pulled in, we are glad we did, excellent service, really nice hot meals, I had the Light Bites Cod and Chips, cooked to perfection, hand made chips with the skins on gorgeous, huge plateful, nearly enough for two, all for under a tenner, Wife had a lovely Curry, if you want a really nice meal pop in you won't be disappointed

Turned up mid Sunday afternoon, hadn't booked as we were just passing but thought we'd try it for Sunday lunch. They managed to fit us in and the menu had an option of about 5 starters, 4 main courses, beef, pork, chicken and vegetarian and then 5 or 6 main deserts or they had three options for ice cream sundaes. Starters roughly £6, main £14 & between £4.50 & £6.50 for desserts. We didn't have a starter but they all sounded good. The mains had roast potatos, meat of choice (beloved had beef & I had the pork & crackling) stuffing ball, gravy, Yorkshire pudding, then to share had cabbage, swede, carrots and some delicious garlic potatoes. A really good main course and we then we finished with the Eton mess & chocolate brownie sundaes. All washed down with cold diet coke on a hot summers day. Pleasant team who were friendly and efficient all whilst working hard at a busy time of day. The bill was about £46 for the two of us, so not cheap, but a decent quality meal with clean and nice surroundings. Worth a visit. Thanks

Me and my partner visited here for a meal whielst on a short break in Pembrokeshire and ohh my the food was just amazing. If only i lived locally to go more often. I highly recommend the food and staff were really lovely and friendly. 😊👌❤️📷

We had a lovely family meal for my daughters 21st birthday plenty of choice reasonably priced food and drinks

Chose The Glen for Father's day and were glad we did as service was first rate, beer great and vegan roast superbly delicious followed up by sublime vegan ice cream dessert. Sat outside with playground handy for our youngest member. All in all money very well spent. Easy parking, booking recommended!!

The starter was a bog standard garlic mushrooms on a tiny piece of ciabatta, the main course was inedible and chewy. The two star is for the rose’.

Food was amazing (make sure your hungry) sevice was great and great selection of drinks what more do you want?
