One of the nicer pubs knaphill has to offer, although we didn't eat on this occasion I have before and it was very good.

Great that Martin has been able to reopen the kitchen after staff holidays. A few new items on the menu too including a delicious Moroccan chicken casserole. As always, great food, good beer and a warm welcome. Thanks to Martin and his team.

Just had lunch and all I can say is I’ve just eaten possibly the best burger I have ever eaten. Delicious. Lovely lunch, lovely pub and friendly staff. With added sunshine in the garden. Perfect.

A comfortable, old English pub, I loved the food, atmosphere, service and plenty of parking.

The place to go in knaphill if you're looking for something more than just lager on every tap. Food is decent, good size beer garden and pleasant staff and welcoming locals. Dog friendly.

This looked like a nice traditional Surrey pub from the outside and the beer garden looked very pretty with easy access from the carpark. The other customers there were very pleasant, warm and talkative. So, that is the good part out of the way. Not so good was the bar experience. Firstly, to get the bar maids attention to actually "serve" was a slog and she looked most put out that she had end a conversation and do some work. Strange that. The amount for two drinks was £7.20 and I offered a credit card to pay. She said the minimum amount with a cc is £10.00. I paid in cash and enjoyed our drinks outside. So, on the face of it a nice pub but human interaction was awful.

This is what a pub should be! Lovely food (Sunday roast is a proper delicious pub roast 10/10) Friendly staff, sociable customers and unbelievable value for money. Oh and dog friendly too. Definitely worth a visit!

Good Old World feel Pub. We ate at lunchtime the food was very good, varied menu and reasonably priced. Plenty of parking and findly staff.

Had great food on a walk in small venue but really great food fresh and hot Hubby spotted the draughts but was driving 😅 so I had the luxury of a nice Chardonnay, staff so polite Well worth the visit will go again.

We always come to this pub but they have started charging 50p for transactions under £10. What a rip off. Won’t go back.

Just very disappointed that the pub were charging 50p to use a debit card in a sale under £10. I am not the law but as far as I am aware, I thought that this was not allowed on debit cards anymore. A friend of mine owns 2 pubs and pays 0.3p per transaction, so 50p is extortionate. Who is pocketing that additional money??? Definitely won't be going back

Lovely local 'pub'. Had a roast on Easter Sunday. Friendly staff, good food, and such a surprise these days to be able to engage with the publican. A rare breed indeed in these times faceless chain-gastropubs. Will most definitely return. And excellent value for money.

My local pub, when I visit my Dad. Always a good place for a quick catch up with friends.

Great pub with always a couple of real ales on the go. Martin is a great landlord and his hosting of the quiz on a Sunday is always a blast.

Dropped in for a meal without a booking. Received a really warm welcome, given a table in a comfortable corner and received really good serviced (after ordering at the bar). Tasty pub food and nice atmosphere. Will be back!

Went to the Garibaldi a few weeks ago. Fish and chips, the fish was well past it, more mushy than flaky. Looking at other reviews this may be an exception, but it put me off going there again.

Visited with my partner a couple of weeks ago and selected the steak and wine offer for two. I eat out quite a lot when I have the opportunity and enjoy pub food. I have to say, my steak (well done) was probably the best I have ever had! Great food, great service, great value. Thank you ! It was excellent!

Twice in recent weeks I have visited the Garibaldi for Sunday lunch and on both occasions the quality of the food and presentation were first class. Everyone praises the landlord but I want to give a shoutout to the chef, first class.

Our first visit but not our last. Having read some great reviews it was time to try it out. Lovely and clean, pleasant lady behind the bar and the food was fabulous. Great value for money - wish we lived a bit closer, it must be an amazing 'local'

Absolutely superb. A real gem for Knaphill and the surrounding area. An interesting offer of starters, a great selection of mains with a different deal for every day- Wednesday was 2 homemade pies for £15. The desserts were pub classics. The fish pie was outstanding with plenty of pieces topped with creamy mash and served with 3 fresh vegetables. The sticky toffee pudding and chocolate sponge were both as light as a feather. The drinks were also reasonably priced. I will definitely return.

Went for the first time Sunday. Food was great. Lovely starters, main and dessert. My only negative is that the potatoes weren’t crispy enough for me (personal preference) & only bar service. Which for a table of seven can be slightly annoying. Will return again. Thank you.

The Garibaldi is a lovely little pub with outside seating and a garden. Every time I've been the staff have always been really friendly and welcoming. They also serve delicious food but worth phoning ahead to check serving times.

Quick stop off after a couple of hours on the Road '' lovely Sunny Day 'perfect for a Hungry HOG Biker' '' The atmosphere was peaceful and everyone looked to be enjoying the Food. Drink and ambience '' ordered a drink from the bar and studied the lovely pub menu '' 'Some of the locals told me that the food was delicious and plentiful' 'totally agree and I was very impressed with the Lebanese Casserole' lovely well Run establishment and well worth a visit '' (FEAM) '

OH MY GOD! The food in this pub is AMAZING!! We had the creme egg cheesecake for dessert and I can't put into words how delicious it was!!! Such a lovely atmosphere, really friendly staff, clean surroundings - the toilets are immaculate. Have your next Sunday roast here, you will definitely not be disappointed!!!

Visited the Garibaldi for lunch today and what a delight it was. The lunch menu has excellent options and cater for a wide variety of customers. I’m particularly fussy and thankfully Lauren and the excellent chef accommodated me. I had to mix and match the menu to create a sandwich that quite frankly blew me away. Honestly the service right through to the sandwich is what prompted me to write my review. Also the beer/wine/spirit selection is great and fair priced. If you’re in the area pop in and see exactly why I keep coming back!

A wonderful pub with great choice of drinks and delicious food. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. Incredible landlord who does so much for his local community. Not sure why but we hadn't been to the Garibaldi for a number of years. That is until today. We were looking for somewhere that still serves "proper" Sunday roasts, and we have now found the place

For Sunday lunch (8-Oct), we wanted to try somewhere new for a meal out and booked last minute and were lucky. This place is a little hidden gem. This pub serves amazing food - tasty, decent sized portions. Their Garibaldi Burger is "to die for". We also enjoyed the shredded pork burger. and Sunday Roast. Too notch!. The staff were just so friendly from the barman to the two waitresses who serves us our food and checked back twice that everything was as we wanted. With COVID measures (marquee) wiping out half the parking spaces on site, you may have to park in a local road but worth the effort.

Had my fathers wake here on 13th July. The food staff and management were absolutely superb and they didn’t stop all day in and out with drinks. Well done Martin my father would have been very impressed with what you have achieved.

Good beer, tremendous pickled onions - which need to be easier to spot.
