Ordered a lunch. Sat there for half an hour and it was never even made. When I enquired where it was - they had no idea who I was and the order never went through. I wouldn’t mind but I had been sat in there drinking coffees for two hours before. Clueless.

Great food good coffee , a busy little gem . Anywhere that does shakshuka is fine with me. It even sells cbd products. The high is full of eateries but this seems to stand out

Why charge extra for plant based milk? It's cheaper than diary and has longer life. You're also a veggie / vegan based cafe! How can you ask £4 + for a non diary cappuccino. Prices are crazy for drinks.

First time here and very impressed. Atmosphere is lovely, the staff are helpful and friendly and the food is really good. Will make an effort to visit again.

Dirty tables in spite of there only being one customer in so plenty of time to clean them. Staff spend most of their time playing on their phones and gossiping instead of doing their job. Don't even bother saying hello. It was our second visit here, we thought that it'd be good to give them another chance after the first one but unfortunately we are very disappointed and won't come back. It's a shame that employers don't care about it because the idea of a healthy coffee shop is a great one.

Stopped for lunch on a journey north. Really delicious food that left me feeling full of goodness! (the tomato and pepper soup was particularly good). Lots of tasty juices - so hard to pick one! Also a selection of raw chocolate treats in the fridge. Lovely seating outside and staff very friendly and attentive, even though it was fairly busy. Will definitely be back mext time I'm in the area

Very disappointing from sitting down at the table next to the till it took over 5 minutes before we where acknowledged we where wondering if we had to get up to order food ourselves at one point .My salmon salad well if you like salad leaves that hang down from your fork all wet looking this is for you not my idea of a salad made fresh that morning,this was pointed out to the waitress also the fact my plate had a large serving of beetroot salad which I had not ordered, all very un fresh looking apart from the tomatoes which I would say where cut up that morning for the look ....so no starters just 2 sort of meals ,husbands omelette basically just that with a few vine tomatoes ...£23 We where offered £2 off the bill ...hilarious ... being local from Bowdon wont be back ...just as the couple who sat down opposite who left after viewing the menu.

I love the Garden, a great wholesome place where you can get great coffee and beautifully prepared fresh food! The fact I have often been twice in a day says exactly how great it is!

This little cafe has an nice atmosphere and a good ethos however, the food is pretty overpriced and the drinks are seriously overpriced. The biggest problem I have with this place is that you have to go to the till to ask and pay your bill where they announce that there will be a 10% service charge added. They have made it very uncomfortable for you to refuse this service charge whilst stood in the middle of all the other customers not to mention the prices are very expensive enough without adding an additional 10%. The service was ok but not all staff were up to speed with the menu but then they have the cheek to ask for another 10% for it. Will not be returning for that reason.

Nice place, detail gone into food, coffee and other drinks, nice little touches like the keep cup thing, and the decor is nice, staff are very nice and food comes fairly quick.

I am so impressed with The Garden Eatery. I've just completed 13 days of the juice and soup cleanses and each one was great quality and so tasty. They've thought of every detail, down to herbal teabags and information about the nutrition and suggested sequence of the juices - it made it so easy. The friendly customer service is second to none: the deliveries were always on time, everything was packaged securely and they could not have been more responsive or flexible with the specifics of the order. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Didn't want to go but ended up being 'taken' by the family and had a very nice meal. Will return!

We love the Garden Eatery. We go as often as we can, we love the healthy food and the staff are wonderful, they always look after us so well. Also the hot chocolate is the best we’ve ever tasted. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere, very relaxing and sitting outside in the safe, cute little garden area is our favourite. We also love the comfy cosy tables inside too. Unfortunately we live 45 minutes away by car otherwise we would be there every day. We don’t really eat out anywhere else as we can’t find a restaurant that has such delicious food and a lot of it is organic, which is extremely important to us. A very big thank you to all the staff for looking after us so well and we would recommend this restaurant 100%. Can’t wait to see you all again soon. Fiona & Hubert.

I have used Garden Eatery on many occasions and they are by far the best Cold Press juice cleanse option in the country. They cost a little more than others, but the quality is so far ahead than it is more than worth it. I have tried all of the other main options and they come out way on top. And for longer cleanses they send free deliveries every few days to keep the juices always fresh instead of sending the whole thing frozen. 10/10!

Popped in whilst having a look around Hale high street. Lovely venue with plenty of greenery and a nice outdoor area. The service area is nicely presented and tempted us to try the banana bread. Really glad we did as it was delicious, served with fruits and cream. The coffee was excellent too and all the staff were excellent.

The best brunch in MCR! The vibe of the cafe was calm and relaxed. Their garden was a safe space for me to rest and recover but also work in peace. Staff were so attentive & charming. The food was 10/10. I will be returning to try more on their menu!

We are trying to eat more healthily and motorway service stations just don’t cut it! So, en route to Glasgow from Essex we came across this gem about half way on the journey. Only a few miles off the M6, we were very pleased to discover this restaurant. (Thanks google!)

I have to say I love this place, from the AMAZING banana bread to the healthy feel good juices! Also if your lucky enough to qualify for the delivery service they couldn't be more helpful, I called up the other night at 10pm to leave a voicemail to ask for a change to my delivery & Chris answered, I had to go away early the next morning so he said he would try his best to get them to me before I left & he did! Thanks Chris your a star!!

Mediocre and wouldn’t return Visited here with my daughter for a birthday lunch. We were really looking forward to it but felt very disappointed with the quality of food. We had two chicken flatbreads but the chicken was pink which really put us off. We had a smoothie which at £6 felt excessive and disappointed these aren’t freshly made at the cafe for that price. Also asked to be seated at a different table (not a high one as they are not practical to eat a meal at) but was told it was for a table of four people only for it then to be given to a couple 2 minutes later. Much nicer places to visit in Hale with comfier seating and better quality food and drink. On a positive note the coffee was good and the raspberry blondie was delicious.

AVERAGELY DISINTERESTED SERVICE and DREADFUL COFFEE…. We stopped in to grab a coffee, our order was taken quickly however the barista was telling a friend a story/joke and asked her colleague to make the coffee. It took 10 minutes to get our coffees the place was 3/4 empty. And my coffee went in the bin, it was insipid, thin and tasteless. Altrincham has many excellent coffee houses, MARAKESH awesome service and tasty coffee California coffee great coffee and a warm welcome every time, 2Brothers great coffee awful play list, MOST bakery great all-round . GARDEN get your act together because today you were very poor

Absolutely brilliant service- the Garden Eatery fast tracked a Vegan, Gluten Free & Refined Sugar Free Carrot Cake down to the Isle of Wight for my Mums 81st Birthday which was wonderful! They went the extra mile in getting the cake despatched to arrive on my Mums actual birthday which was only 2 days after placing the order! The icing and fruit decorations were tubbed up separately so it didn’t get trashed in transit which is a great idea, so easy to quickly dress and pop some candles on. My Mum was truly delighted, she struggles to get anything nice with her various dietary problems these days so it made the celebrations all the more fabulous. Thank you all at The Garden Eatery for all your efforts 🤗

Warm service and incredibly well thought out menu at a reasonable price. Best coffee I’ve tasted in ages!

I am currently on one of their 10 day juice cleanses. The juices are nice but I am really disappointed in the packaging. On their website the juices are in glass bottles which is great for the environment and to be honest the reason I decided to use them as a company. Unfortunately everything has come in plastic and I don't know if it contains BPAs or any other class of this chemical. I do everything I can at home to avoid plastic so the fact I am having 5 bottles a day of plastic for 10 days really upsets me. I really hope they change this and advertise if they do otherwise I will not be using them again. It's pretty disappointing to be honest, I thought they would want better for our planet. Also I have read other reviews about advice and loyalty programs, I haven't seen anything like this. They also missed a juice the other day, I phoned and the girl said she would tell the manager but then another order came and I didn't get the missing juice.

Attractive place tucked away in Hale. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. It was busy and a little loud but we were seated right away. Delicious coffee. A wide range of very healthy options including lots of vegan options. I had vegan breakfast which was generously portioned and filling. It didn't light my soul on fire but I would certainly recommend. A great brunch spot!

I ordered a 9" vegan blueberry cheesecake on Thursday and it was delivered by DPD on Saturday morning as promised! This was a New years Day treat for the family meal as no time to make one. It was utterly delicious, smooth, sublime..... Fantabulous! What more can I say!? Two pots of fresh fruit were supplied to decorate. I would highly recommend this eatery You certainly get what you pay for. Thankyou so much

Friendly staff but found the food very bland and over priced.

Literally the best cleanse! All juices were delivered fresh, straight to my front door. They all tasted great and left me feeling full of energy. Chris was on the phone if I needed anything tweaking and was genuinely happy to help. Couldn’t recommend more highly and will definitely be purchasing another cleanse very soon.

Garden Eatery soup and juice cleanses have been such a find! I have tried a few other cleanses from other companies, which tend to be over priced, but now I will come back to GE time and again. Lovely flavours, home made tasting in the nicest possible way. I've spoken to them a couple times on the phone and they are so friendly and accommodating. Now really want to try some of their cakes!

My partner and I absolutely love this place! We discovered it recently only to learn it's been here for 8 years! Having lived in Altrincham for 10 we are only sad we've missed out on 8 years of delicious brunches!! The salad bar is absolutely amazing - super healthy and the portions are perfect. We have started getting a family sized bowl to go alongside our dinner in the evening as recommended by one of the members of staff with the dark hair (sorry we didn't catch her name!). The coffee is also amazing and the only place we get our takeaway now. We came in for brekkie this morning and they actually had a problem with the till which meant the orders hadn't gone through to the kitchen - the problem was dealt with promptly and the team were really kind and offered us extra drinks which we didn't take. I felt compelled to write a review after this experience because of how awful one customer on a table nearby was to the team dealing with the problem. I hope this 5* review makes up for their awfulness in some way. We will be back next week for our salad and then again at the weekend for brunch. Thanks girls and see you soon :-) Katie and Mark xx

I love the plant-based menu & have been a regular since they opened. However the last few months prices have increased considerably which makes me think twice about going. We are vegan so I appreciate plant-based food is quite labour-intensive however the price point in my opinion is very much on the high side. I noticed it has been far quieter so perhaps others are thinking the same. Additionally staff have changed. The service is sadly inattentive. It seems difficult to catch anyone’s eye even when its quiet. You wait a long time for anyone to come to the table to give you a menu so definitely quicker to get one yourself. No-one comes to ask if you’d like a dessert or a drink so again better to return to the counter. Finally a large number of menu items have chilli in them which is a problem for those who cannot tolerate chilli. People I know who don’t tolerate chilli won’t go back. This may have changed since writing this review, however it certainly was the case. On the plus side, good to see the improvements to the garden. Love the awning. Has been welcome shade on hot days. Overall this is a lovely cafe, with delicious healthy food and a great ambiance. There is definitely room for improvement.

I love this small company for juice cleanses, I’ve done 3 different cleanses now and all the juices arrive fresh & taste delicious. After the 5 day cleanse my skin looks brighter and refreshed and I have lots more energy. The price is good value & competitive and there’s a good loyalty scheme. Customer service is also very good

Brilliant customer service. Competitive prices! All vegan 🙌 Amazing smoothies and soup! Have liked them all so far. Has given me the nutrition boost I needed and have shifted some weight at the same time ( bonus). Will be sad when I finish my juice/soup cleanse and will be back for more 🥰

Nice surroundings and I had a lovely chicken wrap and smoothie. However I ordered a takeaway salad with a topping of Matcha Salmon and when I got home found that the Salmon was missing. It wasn’t cheap either. It will cost more in petrol to return and ask for a refund. Unfortunately it was a disappointing end to a lovely lunch.

Customer service is non-existent. Once you've paid, that's it, no contact. I opted for the 6-day programme. My first batch had broken glass in it which I hadn't noticed so cut myself. Turns out the small ginger shot glass bottles weren't wrapped individually, there were three of them, quite obvious that they might break off each other, no? Just because you put "fragile" on a parcel doesn’t mean that you shouldn't take extra care packaging it properly. OK, that happens, so I emailed them, only asking for a refund for that one broken bottle, too much to ask? As received no response. So I messaged them again, after trying those "juices" that were pretty thin and tasted of nothing but cucumber. I am a devoted juicer, so I know what to expect. I asked if they could please replace them with smoothies, as apparently you can pick which ones you want, maybe without separating the order, but given the incident, small favour to ask. I also mentioned the broker bottle again. No response. Had the second batch of those "juices" delivered with no contact made. Very disappointed. Glad I didn't go for the 10 day programme! Do not recommend.

Overall very nice place, food is nice so are the desserts, however as someone who purchases their smoothies everyday, they are sometimes very inconsistent with them unfortunately, it is especially important if the smoothies are expiring on the day to ask for fresh ones if they have, as I've had it on a few occasions where the smoothie was disgusting, tasted and smelt as if it had gone sour specifically the "Holy Cacao, The Strong and the Pineapple smoothie" , however having said this, the staff are lovely and welcoming, they did resolve any issues in regards to the smoothies when they were raised, however it is best to play it safe and ask for a fresh one as mentioned above (if in stock) Unfortunately, I am having to give a rating of 2/5 due to this effecting my experience significantly as consuming this smoothie unknowingly has made me feel very unwell (the "strong smoothie", purchased 02/06/2022 expiring on the same day), this rating is not in regards to staff or the menu offerings, it is purely what I feel. I would recommend stringent checking of products especially if they are being offered for sale very close to their best before date.

Put simply, this is my favourite eatery in the blooming world. Not only is the food impeccable and ingredients amazing, the atmosphere and energy in The Garden is second to none. There has recently been a bunch of new staff, I am pleased to say, these guys are as much of a credit to the place and the last bunch. Super impressive - as always.

1st time there, very impressed with the Green menu, tried a Chai/Cacao, delicious. Choice of milks to go in it; Oat/Coconut/regular😁

I've been here a couple of times before for food. Always found it OK, but today the food was well below mediocre. I basically paid £11 for half a tin of chicken peas and a mashed tomato. There was no flavour. The server I found rude and I really couldn't be bothered to complain, so left rather quick.... We won't be going back, there are far better with better service

The food here is always so fresh - the staff super friendly Highly recommend if you fancy something a little different (alkaline friendly)

Went for a late breakfast nicely poached eggs on sourdough bread with avocado. Oat milk coffee. The restaurant was quiet so I was able to relax and enjoy my breakfast. Pleasent staff who listened to my needs and had suggestions to make my breakfast tasty.

Simply delicious! We ordered a blueberry vanilla cheesecake and it came perfectly packaged (eco supportive) and was such a delight and treat. A healthy scrumptious dessert.

If I could give 0 stars I would, I received a cold bland breakfast. Rubbery cold eggs . £18.50 for one breakfast and 2 coffees. Awful. My daughter had an apology for her breakfast. I didn't. Which is strange. Definitely won't go there again and don't recommend. The people next to us ordered sweet potato chips, we did laugh when we saw the portion she received. They too had to send their eggs back as they were cold and rubbery.

So, here is the thing. I loved this place since I known it for. It’s not like a restaurant or coffee shop. Is more like, I’m home and I wake up and get into the kitchen and suddenly I have the people who love me preparing me food and chatting to me. This is GARDEN EATERY for you. A family environment, with humans and smiles. Shout out to LEWIS who’s just the best of it all, the most welcoming and always happy. And the food is so good. See the picture.

Terrific gem in the heart of hale! Could not recommend enough, the menu has fantastic delicious healthy meals and you should definitely try the thrive juice - it really perks you up! I had the green omelette and my partner had the avo on toasties,...

The food was amazing, I had the rainbow hash and the thrive juice - great place to come for lunch! Holly and Lewis were super friendly and helpful - Holly recommended for me to get the rainbow hash. I will definitely be back

This is such a shame because I really wanted to like this place. I ordered one of the breakfast menu items which could either come with two poached eggs or a portion of mushrooms. I knew I wouldn't be able to to manage two eggs so I asked if I could swap one of the eggs for just a couple of mushrooms. The waitress looked at me as if I was asking the world and I was told quite sternly that I would have to have both of the eggs and if I wanted could order a full portion of mushrooms for £2 extra. This was far too much food for me so I sadly opted for just the two eggs and wasted one of them. It was just frustrating because I knew they had all the ingredients available to give me exactly what I wanted, but was told no.

Great service and very delicious food!

Excellent eatery for fresh, vegetarian and even vegan food. The nice cool ambience of the cafe reminded me of a similar cafe I visited in Sydney. We ordered veggie lasagna and sourdough toast(with all the healthy ingredients 😝) They also have some interesting drinks especially almond milk and cacao with coconut sugar which I tried to make at home. Definetly worth a visit and wish we had similar eateries in Poynton.

The Garden is everything that an eatery should be. Fresh, excellently made food by a team who cares. They have a huge selection of wellness and health workshops in the evenings too which is great for the community. Love you guys!
