The Food Junction in Gloucester

This place is a joke. Order half of chicken lemon and herb. Got 8 spicy hot wings instead. 5 chicken strips lemon and herb turned out to be so spicy they weren't enjoyable. Cold wedges and cold garlic bread. Tried to call but no answer. Going to go in tomorrow for a full refund and will never return. Shambles!!!!!!

Do not bother....tried to rip me off by short changing me..food is diabolical...dont even understand the menu...

Food is not fit for Human consumption

Don’t know how this place is still running I went In Before there was dead flys and cobwebs everywhere and stunk I ordered anyways and the food was absolutely horrendous this place wants a good clean and the chef needs to liven up this place was really good a couple of years back

Ordered mozzarella sticks and was given chicken nuggets as a substitute. I don't eat meat! Wraps were inedible, none of it was nice at all. Fries had clearly been re-heated multiple times. Phoned them and asked for a refund and was told if have to call back when the owner was in, because they'd 'forget' to call me otherwise. Disgraceful way to treat their customers. Ordered Bueno milkshakes to be given banana ones instead. Tried to make the most of the situation and feed some to my dog. Dog didn't like it😂😂💯👌🏼 says it all. Poor show.

Have ordered from FJ a few times but never had an issue. However after today’s order I will never use them again. Ordered at 7pm, food was ‘on the way’ at 7:45pm, and currently 9:30pm and havent got a thing. Called them 6 times around 9pm before they finally picked up and argued back at me because I was obviously unhappy, and said that the driver hadn’t even picked the order up, despite it being listed out for delivery at 7:45pm. Please do not order from this place.

This place is the worst we ordered a delivery which said it would take 40 mins and hour later I called the shop and they said 15 to 20 min half an hour later I called back and they said another 30 mins by this time my Child was starving he was looking forward to a Saturday night treat night. When it did eventually arrive the order was wrinf they forgotten my double chicken pitta and my boyfriend double burger instead we for single wraps extra hot, so we called them back and they said they would dropped the correct order off...... is the next day and I'm still waiting, they blocked my number last night as I tried all night and they phone was constantly engaged so all we had was chips, also when we called them they told us not to eat the wraps so we didnt time we realised they wasnt coming they was cold and extra hot my boyfriend cant even do mild, as what was they going to do with the wraps sell them to someone else!!!!!! I will never ever order from here again!!!!!

Disgraceful service. They tried to deliver 2 hours early then refused to redeliver or refund. They were horrible and unhelpful on the phone; after refusing to help, they asked my wife to wait a minute then left the phone on a kitchen counter for 30 mins. Sounds to me like the owners need to re-evaluate whether owning a business is for them.

We used to like the peri chicken from here as the portions were adequate and the taste good and we overlooked the ‘trifles’ like the lack of cleanliness inside, but this time I swore never to return. For 1/4 chicken I was given a single smaller wing quarter with supposedly a wing but no breast bit and what a surprise - an extra drumstick bone /no meat on/. Should have taken a picture but I just ran back thinking it’s a mistake..only to be told that it is in fact a chicken quarter/where’s the proof it’s not😏/by a youngster in a bare-bottom dirty pants claiming to come from Cheltenham /maybe different sizing..?/Sorry I didn’t shot the piece but my daughter was hungry

Ordered wings. They were burnt and had very little meat on them. Called them to say about it and they said they were too busy to deal with it and they cook them "crispy". Terrible food, even the wedges were overcooked. Also, the guy on the phone was a waste of space. Here's a picture of some burnt pathetic wings. Enjoy

Ordered burgers and chips for kids and the burgers where burnt! Complete disappointment! Had to throw it out!

Have used this place twice before with no issues but for some reason this time our burgers where very burnt and the buns they had black grill marks all over them and black burnt lose peaces from there grill in my burger packaging I guess where be looking elsewhere next time, and to tip it off rather then the delivery guy ring our mobile or ring the door bell he beeped his horn at half 9 at night to get our attention pretty rude I find.

I went in to get food on the way to my hotel, only had chips as I was going to be going straight to sleep. Woke up not feeling right whole body shaking and pins and needles, feeling sick and panicking, only thing I had eaten was food from here. When completing my order the guy who served me took my food out the back before handing it over. Never will I eat here again or advise anyone else to, never had a feeling like it when I woke 30mins after falling asleep eating. Something's not right with this place, the men seemed dodgy, shames I can't give zero stars.

Nice food ! was a bit worried as looks a bit of a dive , but wings were moist and a decent burger and fries ....packaged and prepared with care ...no probs 🙂

Great food tonight the burger wraps and onion rings were amazing just needed some onions in but still my fave. driver stuck to covid rules no contact what so ever and fast delivery really enjoyin the food junction milkshakes are lush keep up the good work danny and shar

I got a halloumi wrap with salad and some mayo with chips and it was absolutely amazing, honestly the nicest thing I've ever had from a take away. And the delivery driver was polite and very good with the corona virus rules

If I could give this place 0 stars I would,such a terrible service if you cant make it on time for delivery or 45 mins late, at least they could do is give you a refund I called up to cancel my order after waiting soo long. Then they was happy enough to rob me of my money and not issue me a refund. Soo glad I didint eat from that place after seeing these reviews.

I fancied a kebab on a Tuesday in Maesteg, the only night Nite bite isn't open, Caerau was not an option, so i thought I'd give this place a try. This was the last hope of getting a fresh kebab on a Tuesday in Maesteg, boy was i wrong, not only was the meat out of the pot, but it was in a naan that was burnt, not charred, it was burnt, the guy serving me must never had ate a kebab in his life because he put my chilli and bbq sauce over my salad😖, the morale of this tale is if you enjoy fresh tasty donner meat don't eat hear.

Ordered a delivery through food hub to be be told that I have to pay an extra £6 delivery fee because of where I live?? Then once the food got here it was cold and the delivery driver was very rude, will never be ordering from here again

No social distancing and left his own half bottle of water in the box with my milkshakes! On calling no apology or refund was offered and our call was ended abruptly by him ignoring me just saying thank u bye. He understood as he said he would ask his driver! Not impressed with service

We decided to try the food junction out for the first time and it will be the last time. We order our food through uber eats we had confirmation that order was on it's way an hour later still no delivery we call the restaurant numerous times and also the delivery driver with no answer when the order finally turned up the order was cold the burger was burnt also the bun the wedges were cold the onion rings they sent 2 portions but we ordered 1 portion and a portion of chips the chicken nuggets were also cold and the chocolate fudge cake was stale and hard as a rock. I would not recommend this restaurant to any of my family or freinds I would actually say my sun burnt was hotter than the food we received

Delivery was late and did not get the food that I wanted.

If i could give half a star I would. Absolutely disgusting. Ordered my food at about 1030 and took over and hour half to get to me. Placed my order on uber eats and gave me a delivery time of 1125. I kept calling food Junction and another number that was given to be by uber eats and neither would answer the phone. Just gone 12 my food finally turned up. I was missing items and it was all freezing cold. The nuggets were cold but edible and it just got worse and we started eating. I would never waste money here again its a surprise it still in business.

Such a shame as I used to love this place. I'm not sure what has happened in the 6 months since we last ordered from here but it has gone drastically downhill. Our last order arrived late, cold, missing items and even wrong items in the order. When I called to find out when the food would be delivered I was told it would be with me any second. It finally did arrive 10 minutes later (an hour past the original delivery time stated) When I tried to call to let them know about the missing, cold and incorrect items the phone rang out. Repeatedly. I then had to source food from elsewhere as the majority of my order was missing. There are a lot of bad recent reviews and I decided to ignore them as we have always had great food here. I wish I had listened to them now.

The order was made at 6pm. I explained to the person on the call that I would like a refund and he refused. Luckily we ordered through just eat so managed to get a partial refund through them. Since looking through the other reviews it seems I'm not the only one to experience extremely poor customer service. @just eat should start to read the reviews and remove such a poor company from there supply chain. Were deliberate fobbed off and lied to get us off the phone. They only care about taking your money. I will not use Food Junction again but will use Gloucester grill instead. These guys don't even deserve a star. Regularly had problems with these guys. I feel a fool ordering again but late night munchies and that... Nearly everytime I have ordered there are missing items, food is undercooked or cold. This time I ordered via deliveroo 2 hours go by - no food. I try calling restaurant, deliveroo call them. No response. So I'm no writing this at 1230pm absolutely starving unable to go out due to lockdown. As I went via deliveroo I got a refund but I'm never comming here again. The fact that these guys are still trading is shocking, from looking at multiple reviews this shows another prime example of foreign fast food owners setting up a business and failing to meet the basic standards of a good food establishment. In the words of Gordon Ramsey - SHUT IT DOWN!

Just to let you all know I ordered from this restaurant on Just eat and they took the payment and never delivered any food and do not answer the phone. Just eat also have failed to refund my payment also. Don’t buy from this restaurant.

Terrible service, food came over an hr late, was cold, stale and restaurant refused to comply when I asked them to complete my order so that just eat could process my refund. DO NOT COME HERE was an absolute joke. All we wanted was.a ben and jerries ice cream, ordered it at 12.55am, expected delivery time was at 1.45am. as it was late and I live in a cabin in my parents garden I sat in the garage to wait for if so the delivery driver didn't knock the door at that time at night. got to 20 past 2 in the morning still no delivery.. I called the restaurant and the man assured me he was on his way, I had no reason to expect he was lying, I then sat there for a further 30 minutes, and decided to call again, the same man answered and told me that the driver had been stopped by the police and wont be long hes on his way, so I politely said ok and waited as I had.no reason to think he lied, I then called again after another 30 mins and he told me the same thing, by mow it was 3am and still.ni delivery.. I could have walked from tuffley to Barton street and back, and eaten my ice cream before that time.. I then called again to say I want to cancel the order as I have had enough of waiting In the garage,.. I called non stop for an hour and no one picked up.. I was about to sleep when I get a phone call from my mum. the driver was ringing my buzzer at 4am more than 3 hours after I ordered my food, I open the door and hes smiling/laughing, I ask him why he took so lo g and he smiled more and said it was because its windy . he the. handed me a melted ice cream that cost me £5 on top of a £3.50 delivery charge. when I questioned him he ran up the drive and got in his car calling I assume the restaurant. DO NOT COME HERE

Awful place. The attitude of the staff was appalling with one wearing a hoodie whilst cooking and serving. Will NOT be visiting this establishment again.

AWFUL customer service. We ordered food, which took an hour to come. (After online said 30-40 minutes) No sauce, no soft drinks. We called up to explain, as I won’t eat my food without the dip, so we were told someone was on their way with it. 40 minutes later, our food is stone cold and still no sign of drinks or dips. I called up asking for a refund and the phone was put down on me. I then tried calling numerous times and there was no answer. I eventually got in contact and I’ve been told that I’ll only get a refund for the drinks which I did not receive and the man was quite rude on the phone. Although my food has not been touched. I’ll be expecting a refund for this The delivery driver has just turned up, an hour and 20 minutes later, with drinks and dips. Which has now been turned away and my cold food sent back. Never ordering from here again

We just visited the city and had a delicious lunch here . Yummiest food and reasonable rice . Owners are really friendly and warm . Strongly recommend

Everytime I've ordered from this place they have tried to rip me off. This time they tried to charge me £7 for a sausage and small chips. Please DO NOT ORDER from this place they will try to do it to you too.

Got my order wrong, had to re cook it, then got it wrong again and over charged me.

I’m not one to complain but this was awful. Ordered food to be delivered at 12, arrived at almost 1. On top of that they’d run out of veggie burgers and instead of finding a suitable replacement I was given soggy lettuce in an ever soggier pitta with no sauce and cold chips. For £4!! Ridiculous. As well as this, my friends chicken was, in her words, ‘as dry as the saharah’. Very disappointed and I shan’t be ordering from this establishment ever again and I will warn others from doing so as well.

As the member of staff took my order, as i was speaking he then decided to speak to someone else, then stared at me blankly as he hadn't listened to a thing i just ordered which i found rude. We then waited almost half an hour for our food to be served. Got a taxi home to eat the food to find out after waiting all that time, they had forgetten half of my order. The peri chips and coleslaw. My boyfriend also had to ask for his drink which comes with the meal deal. Not happy in thw slightest. Rang Food junction up as soon as i got home and they said pop in another time to get the rest of my order. No apology, just pure arrogance and i rarely go there as well. They didn't even take my name either. Just shocking. Will not be returning again. Rude, arrogant staff. Waste of time.

I visited food junction one evening after an evening out. I explained to the guy the I wanted a wrap with chips. I watched the guy write on the order ‘no mayo’ I requested this due to being allergic to dairy.

Been coming here since it opened, food is always fresh, piping hot, and full of flavor, all the reviews moaning about delivery, i can admit it's taken a while when ordering before, so i just collect now, and its worth the trip every time.

first Time I ordered from this place they completely missed half my order so for a second chance I thought maybe they’d have improved, me and my girlfriend ordered two double cheese burgers, 2 cokes and 2 coleslaws..

Food is great and can’t fault it. Service can be a little crazy on a Saturday night but they managed to get everything right.

Food was okay. Part of my order was missing. Staff where dirty and very rude. I don't like seeing masticated chewing gum rolling around your big mouth, when you're dealing with my food. Wouldn't waste your money, Flames is 5 minutes down Southgate street.

I've never eaten food from this place but I do live in a house were food was dilverd by them. The doorbell wasn't working when they arrived, the delivery persons reaction was not to knock on the door but to pound at it with the side of his fist. People in the house ( who weren't aware of the delivery after midnight ) woke up believing there was a break in, or worse! It sounded more like a police raid than a food delivery.

Expensive for what it is, and they’ll try and take advantage of drunk customers by ‘forgetting’ to give out your inclusive drinks and dips.

EVERY time I have ordered food they have sent the wrong order. £20 worth of an order and receive a £10 order. Won't be ordering from here ever again, it's a waste of time every time.

We ordered £37 worth of food for a group, after we examined our order there was a cheese burger missing I called up to get another or a refund and I was shouted at instantly and swore at, this is disgraceful and I will not be ordering again. If anybody is looking to order from this place think twice. I would recommend Gloucester Grill instead much better service and quality of food.

We made an order of £37, when it arrived we sat down to eat and realised they forgot one of our meals. We called to ask if they could send it or refund the amount, to which the man on the other end began shouting and swearing and telling us we are wrong.

Nice food and quick service serves peri peri food

The pitta was dead, chicken dry, lettuce looked years old. Chips where basically stale you can tell they were cooked went cold re dipped and bagged up.

2 chicken wraps and some wedges.. ordered at 8.30pm to my work as we had to stop late to get some work done. eat delivery time was 9.30pm.. I ring at 9.45pm to be told it's 15 mins away! it finally turned up cold at 10.30... 2 hours after ordering. They were 5 miles away. my colleague went home at 10.25 as she was fed up of waiting so I wasted my money on buying a wrap she didn't eat! I am an extremely patient person but... some gesture wouldn't have gone amiss! 2 hours isn't good enough for 2 chicken wraps FACT! not impressed

The food tasted horrible not like normal not very happy

Added 20 mins to the expected time, which is fine. Took an additional 40 mins ON TOP of the extra time, which is not. To their credit they were very apologetic and the food was (mostly) still hot enough to be palatable, but based on this and a couple of previous bad experiences we're not likely to order from here again.
