A lovely country pub, good selection of meals and the staff were ever so welcoming. We will be back!

A very nice family friendly place. Had a big family birthday party here recently and it was just the place for it. Great service, friendly staff and lovely food. I would recommend. Thank you all at the Farriers Arms.

Lovely pub with old styling. Friendly staff greet you and they were happy to accomodate our dog in the bar area. Went for a sunday roast. Service is decent but one member of our party was not happy with their main meal but the chef returned it, they do not respond well to complaints. Staff were still polite and friendly but we were essentially left to deal with what we were served. They are also very stingy with their veg portions. About a carrot and a half on a small serving plate with an equivalent portion of greens shared between four people. Odd choice to skimp on the veg but otherwise the meat and yorkshires were delicious. Prices are fair, would dine here again but definitely going to try other pubs in the area first.

The place was nice and pleasant. The staff were friendly and the service was good but the food was below expectations. The steak that I ordered was very small, very hard and dry.

This is a lovely place for a meal and a drink. Really nice atmosphere, staff look after you but not overly intrusive. Food is amazing, perfect sized portions and tasted amazing.

Absolutely amazing roast dinner today. Service was top notch. (Tommy) went above and beyond for our very loud table. Highly recommend

Giving the full 5 stars today. We’ve eaten here before and the food is always incredible. Today was no different (I can’t stop thinking about the braised beef and the sticky toffee pudding!!). This is some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. The staff are welcoming and attentive and thought about our needs with a 2 year old. The pub was clean throughout. I can’t fault our experience here at all. Thank you for a wonderful meal, I hope we can come back soon!

We had an excellent Sunday Roast in a lovely Pub. The roast was good value for money and would recommend to everyone as it was also very well cooked. The slight disappointment was the pudding. Again it tasted good and was well served. However, I had the thinnest slice of cheesecake you could cut, which I considered very poor value for money. A pity after such a good meal.

Very friendly staff, bar loud and a bit of a clique but overal great atmosphere. Will be back as Arni said.

Had Christmas party there. Atmosphere was great but most thought that the buffet was uninspiring.

We returned to the pub once again, this time for a Christmas lunch for family, and once again it was special

Had our work Christmas party here in the private room to the side. Lovely set up, private bar and food selection was good. We had a buffet, which was all delicious.

Christmas dinner wasn't as good as expected. I wish I had stuck to their normal menu. I might go back again to see if it is better

Booked a table for lunch in the restaurant. The main menu looked quite extensive but the lunch menu was limited. We both chose the burger from the main menu. The chips were lovely but the meat in the beef burger was too dry and heavy. The bacon topping would have been nicer if it had been crispy so perhaps I should have asked for it to be cooked that way. The meal was filling and the service was good.

Have been visiting the pub for many years but never reviewed it. A great place to stop for a drink (they brew their own beers), for a quick grab or for a nice meal in their pub area or restaurant area. Their menu changes regularly (while they have a core pub menu), with special tasting events (dishes paired with wines). The field at the back of the pub is perfect for the kids to play football. Overall, one of my favourite places in the area.

It doesn't get much better than this place. Exceptional food, superb friendly and helpful service and a stunning building and atmosphere !!! If I could leave ten stars for everything I would ! Will be back very soon...

Enjjoyed a very tasty, reasonably priced Sunday roast with friends at The Faariers Arms. Tucked into "The Beast" which came with a generous portion of pork, beef, chicken, selection of vegetables, and roasted potatoes. Great location 👌, a definite recommend for anyone in the area.

Had a lovely Sunday roast, food was delicious but the staff were fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they were friendly and approachable. Just wish it was a little closer to home.

I've driven past the farriers arms for decades and not had the chance to stop. What a mistake! We went here with some friends and had a fabulous evening. Everything about our visit was superb. The building, staff and food were a pleasure! Service was prompt and we were checked on unobtrusively. I wouldn't hesitate to return and can heartily recommend it to all.

I had an amazing dining experience. The head chef's culinary skills were truly impressive, and the Pie of the Day was an absolute delight. The flavors were perfectly balanced and delicious. I can't wait to visit again for another scrumdidilyumchous meal!

Food was amazing a great drink selection. We stayed overnight in our campervan and the staff couldn't be more welcoming. Thank you 😊

The Lamb was a very fatty cut. Another place adding 10% surcharge on the bill. So whatever the price is add 10% a white wine costing £5.80 is actually £6.38. I was given a coffee free of charge to compensate the fatty Lamb.

Really nice pub with great food

Fab Sunday lunch. Good selection of other food and beer that changes seasonally. Nice to sit inside by the fire in the winter and fabulous outside in the garden for lunch in the summer. Only ever had 1 issue with service in the many, many occasions I've been, which I'm putting down to inexperienced staff not knowing what's on the new menu. Other than that, it's always been a good meal/drink out.

Nice pub in the countryside. Fireplace in the winter and dog friendly. We were just in for drinks and they have a great selection, especially of gin.

Community owned pub with their own, very good beer, good food and plenty of outside seating. Also have really good beer festivals. Can be very popular, particularly in the summer and consequently parking can be an issue at times.

Always a great reception, some inexperienced team members, but good on the whole.

Fantastic community owned village pub. What a wonderful place, great food and service. Their own micro brewery Farriers 1606 an outstanding pint.

What an amazing dining experience. We were greeted at the door by friendly staff and shown to a spacious table. Food was amazing and our waitresses were so friendly and attentive. Will definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.

This is an absolutely hidden gem and probably one of the best countryside pubs I have ever been to. It has the history behind where the ceiling of the building was lower. Although it has extended ever since to the back and can tell how much the owner has preserved this building. Food was absolutely fantastic! My wife had the homemade soup and it was done to perfection and we shared the Camembert cheese - so delicious creamy and the sides came with it was just exquisite! The main was also cooked to its finest. Never ever I thought the dishes were made into very detail! I am pretty sure the Sunday roast here would be awesome, will come back here in the future when I come to Ashford area.

Staff are very friendly here and accommodating. Drink selection is decent. The food menu doesn’t have a massive selection, that’s not a bad thing it just makes it easier to choose. I personally found the burger a bit over cooked and dry but it did still taste good. Chips were also nice. The portion size was good but I did feel for the quantity of food on the plate that it may have been a little expensive for what you get. Everyone else I was with were very happy with the food they received. The Pie was well cooked, Catch of the day was superb but just the burgers may need a bit of adjusting. Perhaps add a choice of how well done the customers would like it. Over all I’d recommend this place and will return but just be warned it’s not a cheap meal out.

Absolutely wonderful experience here for lunch on our way down to Port Lympne. Arranged a secret rendezvous here for opening up time with family and friends to surprise my mum for her birthday. The staff weren't aware but accommodated by letting others in a little early to wait before we arrived. When we did arrive we noted how beautiful the place is, easy parking and a very warm welcome as we entered. My mum then spotted our family happily sat with drinks and it was amazing. The food we ordered (sandwiches and fried) was delicious and huge! Everyone said how awesome their choice was. The drink selection was great too, and the service impeccable. Have to give a huge thank you to staff Jackie (sp?) for being so lovely and chatty, and Danielle too for her part in making it a special visit. Cannot recommend this place enough for the whole package and its delicious food and drink. Hope to be back!

Nice place. Ripping people off with the vegetable servings. One small serving for 3 meals. And one of those was large meal with extra veg. 3 small plates with a single serving on for all 3 meals. Really let the meal down.

We had Sunday lunch good menu selection for the roast,y potatoes were under cooked but the veg and meat were very nice. Friendly staff working hard and efficient.

Went lunch today.....omg...excellent food

Managed to get a table for my husbands birthday today and we were not disappointed. Family feast for four and were all big eaters. Food was just amazing and a perfect amount. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be coming back.

It's certainly a very beautiful pub and restaurant for sure. The garden is huge and has plenty of nice shaded nooks under trees. The inside is equally as lovely and it's in a good rural location that hits the spot for an al fresco spritz and lunch in the summer and a fireside roast dinner in the winter. Dogs are welcome in the bar and garden and are well looked after. The menu on arrival was a pleasant surprise too and was thankfully different and nice to the one available online. I'll definitely be back to experience an autumnal and winter day here

I’ve visited this pub many times over the years before lockdown and always found the food to be of excellent quality. However, this evening the food was disappointing. We had the hamburger and fish and chips. My husband said his hamburger was over cooked and dry, the bottom half of the bun was cut so thinly that it disintegrated into a soggy mess. My fish wasn’t the largest Ive ever had and was very greasy. We were both disappointed with the chips, we thought that the skinny thing’s served were more in keeping with MacDonalds! Sorry guy’s, we were expecting special and it just wasn’t.

Pulled into the Farriers for lunch and a birthday drink for my daughter with her husband. Accompanied by my wife and Bernie the golden retriever. Very pretty pub lovely gardens and great food. Fish and chips was really really good. Steak sandwiches were spot on. Staff were lovely and looked after us well. Loved the doggy beer keg in the garden really lovely touch. Have already decided we will be going back soon to try the Sunday menu. Looks like they cater for big parties but perfect for a quite couple. Proper local pub , heard its run and owned by the local community as well after it nearly closed so another reason to support this place.

Came here for the 4th time for their 3 day annual beer and music festival, fabulous weekend as always.

Me and a friends ate here Friday and have spend Sunday evening onwards in absolute bits! Was thinking uptill now what it could of been. Only just found out, the same friend i ate out with friday, has been experiencing the same discomfort i have! Without a doubt, will not be eating here again.

Superb food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. Sunday lunch is exceptional.
