Excellent chips, well cooked and crispy. Owner only uses groundnut oil, not cheaper alternatives. Highly recommended

We always go here when in Hastings as normally excellent. Fish today was great and well cooked and very tasty, but the chips tasted a little old and not fresh. Like they were reheated. Hopefully just a one off.

Drove from Maidstone just to have the Codfather’s fish and chips. Never disappoints. Welcome smile and chat from all the staff. Ordered the haddock and cod, both with chips. Absolutely outstanding. The fish just flaked beautifully and the chips were proper chips not those milky white offerings you get elsewhere. Fantastic food, great staff. What more do you want.
