The Falls in Richmondshire

Food was amazing, service was super quick. All staff friendly and helpful. Views are absolutely stunning and a small walk to the falls. Definitely a must if out this way

Great service, not over crowded like the cafes nearer the falls. Great price and lovely food. Great family and dog friendly cafe.

We had a really tasty breakfast that was reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and we loved the gift shop attached. The negative was that it could do with being a bit cleaner in all honesty but if you can see past that then you will enjoy your visit.

We visited at lunchtime on 5th November and the staff member who served us was very pleasant and extremely hard-working. The view through the panoramic windows is lovely and I didn't think the prices were over the top.

After a walk down to the Falls we called in for a drink. Really pleasantly surprised. Great drinks, excellent service and friendly ambience. Very comfortable sofa!

Enjoyed good coffee and a generous portion of cake here, staff friendly. Cafe isspacious, light and airy so doesn't feel overcrowded.

Had our lunch before visiting the 3 waterfalls. Great wensleydale cheese sandwiches with chutney. Soup of the day was too thick but tasted delicious!

Ordered two plates of chips for outside. They said they were busy but did not expect to have to wait for over an hour before they arrived. Will not be purchasing food from there again despite the chips being excellent when they finally arrived

A wide range of dishes on offer from a snack to a full meal and some delicious desserts, also a good range of hot and cold drinks. Prices are reasonable, the food is fantastic and the service very good indeed. Can recommend.

Car park right near to the falls. Great menu and lovely friendly staff. Covid safety in full operation and a perfect pit stop after looking at the falls.

A welcome brew after the walks round the falls. We had a Wensleydale cheese and chutney sandwich, and a Mars square, both very good. Good friendly service and £13.45 for two was good value. We also got a rainbow view as a bonus

Lovely coffee shop and surprisingly reasonably priced. Ice cream was £2.50 single scoop, £3.80 double buy they are not small scoops and they taste really good. Can park here all day for the falls for £4, it gets busy so would suggest getting here before about 10iah, though from here it's not a long walk

We are visiting this area and I contacted the Coffee House about their facilities. I had a lovey text reply within an hour, apologising for them not opening on the day we are there but they gave me an alternative tea room and another car park with toilets not far away. Very helpful. Thank you. As we haven’t actually been I can’t answers the questions required that are below.

called in on saturday,as part of a coach tour, pleased we did as it was really nice. We shared a sausage bap, which was very tasty, and had a hot chocolate a nd latte, both lovely. Staff were friendly, and quick, really nice coffee shop. There were clean loos and a small gift shop.

Stylish interior with lots of natural light makes for a great cafe setting. Lovely soup was perfect for a cold day.

We called in for a coffee during our visit to the falls and decided to try one of the amazing looking cakes. You must try the jam and coconut sponge cake, it was absolutely amazing. Lovely gift shop which was very current with it's stock and also reasonably priced. Very friendly welcome from the staff who were all very efficient. Thoroughly recommended

After an enjoyable experience at Aysgarth Falls we visited The Falls. Fabulous Place, lovely food and drink and fantastic staff, NUFF said! Highly recommend.

We stopped for a coffee at this very pleasant cafe and gift shop. Warm welcome and lovely spacious environment with good menu choice. Very convenient for visit to Aysgarth Falls and welcome advise to cut through the Church yard and visit the beautiful church on the way down ( a much gentler walk) but be warned there are still some steps to negotiate. Car parking is available at a small cost ( separate business ) but worth it. Will certainly return for refreshments soon. Lovely place to take a break.

Visited after walking to the upper and middle falls. In pouring rain we arrived at 1.30pm to an almost deserted cafe. Got a warm welcome, literally as there were two log burners throwing out plenty of heat. We only had a snack which is made while you wait. My husband had a Wensleydale cheese sandwich with tomato rather than relish as on the menu, came with a good side salad and a few crisps. While I had the broccoli and Stilton soup with a cheese scone, which was huge and delicious.Good service and very pleasant atmosphere.

Since my last visit to Aysgarth, this cafe has been transformed. It is light and airy and dogs are welcome inside.

Every time we’ve visited this area the cafe (now open and called The Falls) has always been closed.

We came over to Aysgarth for surprise party at The Falls Coffee House & Gift Shop, there Function room is huge and decorated beautifully we had great buffet!

We attended a friend's 60th birthday party at The Falls last night. They have a newly done out function room which is lovely. Nick and Liz were very attentive hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Where going back to the cafe tomorrow for coffee and cake. If you are in the area call in and have look for yourselves. Highly recommend as a venue for a party

If you fancy the comforts of homemade baking then this is the place to go. The cakes are lovely you get a good choice. Service great and very friendly, made to make you feel very welcomed. Lovely little gift shop for you to purchase gifts. Prices are very reasonable too. All in all a lovely place to relax before or after a visit to the falls.

The Falls is a great place to stop at especially if you are wanting to look at two of the three "Things To Do" in Aysgarth From the car park you get great views of St Andrew's Church before heading off to the falls

Such a lovely welcoming, family run place. 5 minute walk from the falls. Great coffee, amazing cake and some cracking Yorkshire gifts too!

Lovely place with friendly staff who welcomed our dog. Popped in here after our walk around the falls for coffee and scones, and weren't disappointed.

After parking the car in the adjacent car park we decided to call in at The Falls tea room prior to walking the falls. The café appears to be recently opened and the décor is fresh and well presented. They have a decent selection of snacks and an excellent collection of cakes and scones on offer to supplement the tea and coffee. There is also a small gift shop contained within the building. My wife chose the coffee and walnut cake; what a huge portion, whilst I went for the lemon drizzle cake. Both were delicious. Thoroughly recommended for anyone wishing to partake in tasty cakes prior to viewing the beautiful local sights

Popped in for coffee and tart after day touring in the rain. Very clean and bright restaurant. Nice lady served us. No Curd tarts. But the apple cake and scone with cream and jam plus coffee and cake substituted. Nice selection of cards as well...Squirrel with snow on nose bought.

What a gem of a place, after spending the day walking around the beautiful area we decided to call in for cake and coffee, Barney the dog was welcomed with a bowl of water and the staff were very pleasant. The homemade cakes were fantastic and the coffee actually had taste unlike most of the hot brown substances available in most places today. First class place and would recommend to anyone. Well done all.

Very welcoming place and staff really helpful. New owners have turned the place into something stylish and airy. Great cup of coffee and a really nice toasted teacake. Just sorry we weren't hungry enough to try more. Will definitely be back when we are in the area again with empty stomachs! Lovely little gift shop too.

Out walking dog and thought we’d try this new place for coffee and cake. Unfortunately the cakes we bought (lemon drizzle and Victoria sponge) were both very dry, not what we were expecting.

Came to the cafe whilst on a training course and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. A great quality and selection of products available, including a small gift shop. Cafe had been recently renovated and they have done a great job. Would visit again.

We visited Aysgarth Falls one sunny Sunday and were in need of refreshments. We visited The Falls cafe at the top of the hill and right next to the car park. So glad we did. We had refreshing coffee and the most delicious cake I've tasted in a while. There was a lot of choice.
