The Fairydust Emporium in Allerdale

Oh wow,great place,lots of choices,I had lemon meringue pancake, attentive staff,the choice of drinks is fantastic.back again tomorrow.

We were looking for something nice to eat on a cold day and came across this gem of a place. We had our greyhounds with us and was welcomed into this wonderful tardis by such lovely, welcoming ladies who work there. We opted for a veggie and meat breakfast which was large, plentiful and good quality; the dogs got a sausage each. The food and coffee was delicious, I noticed the food provided to other customers was of a similar high quality. This is a lovely, friendly cafe and I can understand why people queue up outside to get in.

Visited this cafe just by chance looking for somewhere for a warm drink to get out of the rain with our dog 'The Bear'. Was welcomed in and guided to a table downstairs. So t be fooled with the view from outside. There's loads of space indoors. Brilliant service and made such a fuss of our choccy Lab. Ordered 2 teas and a banana split. Wow what a desert, big enough for the two of us and a jar of sausage bits for The Bear... would defo recommend.end and will return next tome we are in the area... Well.done team..👌👏😉👍

I decided to go on a little road trip yesterday with my wife we are from Scotland, I have seen many posts before about the Fairydust Emporium and always wanted to visit, let's just say the 1 hour journey was definitely worth it. Fairydust Emporium was so easy to find on entry to the shop we were greeted by the lovely long haired cat sat outside, as we went in the place was so warm and inviting, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is just something else, it's well presented and the portions are massive and very well priced would certainly recommend this place to anyone well done beautiful place.

What a lovely little place... But I was disappoint with my BLT pinini as it had one eye of bacon cut in half the length of pinini 1 slice off tomato cut in half the salad was amazing as was coleslaw and tortilla chips. But less than a rasher of bacon for £8.95 I can not justify... I have been a chef all my working days but that has to be the meanest filling I have ever seen... I wish I'd taken a picture as proof

Went for a private function this evening and what a fantastic night we had, the beef burgers homemade might I add were delicious the chicken burgers were freshly cooked in their own batter which was light and crispy the staff were happy and friendly nothing was too much trouble! Booking is definitely recommended for busy evenings thankyou again for a great evening we will definitely be back again tge sharing platter was amazing.

I came here for lunch one day and breakfast the next, as we're staying on a nearby holiday park. Couldn't get any better in my opinion, from the service, to the food, and the price. Extremely reasonable for the portions, which were very generous. Even gave me an umbrella when it started raining outside! Plus there are cats, win win! Overall 5 🌟. I'd give more if there was the option! Definitely be returning the next time I'm here!

We had been wanting to visit for a while and we we are so glad we did. Both my husband and I had the full English breakfast and it was beautiful, all the ingredients were good quality and were cooked to perfection and so tasty it is by far the best breakfast I've had in a long time. The place itself is spotless and you can tell everybody who works there takes a real pride in the place. The staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble, my allergy to mushrooms was catered for with no fuss at all. Thank you all so much for such an enjoyable experience we can't wait to return and next time we won't keep Jason talking too long, who by the way is such a lovely guy.

Decided to breakfast out on this gorgeous late Summer day and thought we'd try here. What a delight. Lovely quaint and quirky bistro with an absolutely top notch Breakfast. Will definately be returning.

Went in and were given a table, however once we sat down we realised that the place was just a bit tacky to be honest. Probably fine if you had little ones. We went as we heard the breakfast was good, however they stopped it at 11 and the menu choice was very poor afterwards so we decided not to stay and eat.

We turned up one lunchtime without booking and as a group of 9 were unsure if we would get a table but the staff were wonderful and quickly found us a large table downstairs at the back. They made a huge fuss of the 3 Labradors with us and quickly brought them all a sausage which was free of charge. The children in our group loved the atmosphere and decor (as did the adults). There is an extensive menu with lots of delicious saounding food making it very hard to choose. We all had sandwiches/panini’s followed by cake/Sundae’s. The children had milkshakes too. We came away really full and very happy with the food and service.

We were a group of 5 with no reservation but were warmly welcomed and shown to a table upstairs. As instructed we rang our bell to place our order which arrived quickly. Food was delicious and great value. Just sorry I had no room for cake! Thanks

AMAZING, Despite it having absolutely nothing to do with Alice in Wonderland - it felt like it, I have been to this tea-room a lot of times, and everything was perfect - but today everything was chaotic - however it was better than the rest, there was a tea-tastrophe when they forgot to put tea bags in the teapot and served us just hot water, to a cat sitting above me which I knew nothing of, until I spotted it. The Scone and mushrooms on toast are amazing, keep it up! The only let down was slow service, which can't be blamed as it was full. I could come here every day; it's affordable and a magic place to be - 10/10. If you are in Silloth make sure to come here to enjoy a fairy-dream experience
