The Faerie Tree Inn in Stirling

Decided to see if we could get a table after heading home from Loch Chon. It was already booked out as Easter Sunday but the staff managed to get us a table. Great food and very happy and helpful staff. Good food.lots of parking spaces.

Staying at the nearby holiday park popped by for some food , great atmosphere very friendly helpful staff and the food was lovely with generous portions, plenty to choose from and also a specials board for something different.

Went to The Fairie Tree for Mother’s Day. Had booked a table for 4 weeks in advance. Was seated quickly. Drinks order taken quickly as was our food order. Menu is basic pub grub nothing fancy not al a carte or anything. My 3 teenagers wanted the haddock and chips and I opted for the chicken and leek. A large party of 8 came in and was seated near us. Their starters came out very quickly. We had waited 20 minutes by this point since ordering. My son who was working in a similar place mentioned maybe they put their orders in ahead. 50 - to an hour passed before I managed to catch a waitress and ask where our food was and we had been waiting sometime now. She went off to find out. Came back and said the order had not gone through from the front of house computer to the back to the chef. No apology, nothing. We just had to wait for our food. Another 20 minutes our food arrived. Decent enough. As I said basic pub grub. Then my son wanted a dessert . Took 10-15 minutes to get someone’s attention, he ordered the sticky tofffe pudding. Again waiting on one persons dessert for 30 minutes the place was not busy now. And I might add not extremely busy earlier either. We were about to tell the waitress that was cleaning tables behind us to just forget about our dessert when the chef came out and said something too her. We had caught her eye by this time to tell her this and she abruptly told us the chef had just told her it was ready!!! So my son said ok bring it out. It was good and he enjoyed it. No apology from her for it’s lateness. Finally asked for the bill, half expected to see some sort of reduction for poor service. Was none. Could not be bothered speaking to anymore of the staff as when I had mentioned when asked if I had enjoyed my meal. Had said it was terribly late was given no apology for the computer issue but just told it and expected to except and pay and go. Obviously won’t be back. Service was sloppy and without a smile. Food was overpriced and just ordinary.

We were recommended to try 'The Faerie Tree Inn' for dinner by a local, and were not disappointed. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was amazing and good portion size-we especially enjoyed the homemade puddings! Lovely, cosy pub with a great atmosphere and we will definitely return. Would highly recommend for drinks and/or food if you are visiting the area.

Fantastic Valentines meal, food excellent, staff very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return again. This is our second visit to the Faerie Tree and would recommend this place. First class service

Picked in part due to previous Tripadvisor reviews visited first Saturday evening February The pub was a little quiet though, the staff had said this unusual & had had a quiet week (this also reflected by comments in other establishments (cafes & visitor centre at Balahama) Staff very friendly & chatty & the food generous & super tasty- recommend the Cullen Sink starter & homemade pies mains- a local pub with heart, welcoming tourists with a smile. Visited with family en route to our weekend away in Stronachlachar. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was tasty and very well presented. We enjoyed our visit so much we came back on our way home. Highly recommended.

On arrival, we were seated quickly. Our order was taken shortly after and our food was with us in about 10-15 minutes. It was absolutely amazing! The music choice was the ultimate for me and made me feel as if I was in my kitchen at home. Apparently I have Erin to thank as that evening was her choice(country) I thoroughly recommend the steak pie and I look forward to another visit. Also dog friendly, not that I had mine with me, I just like to look jealously at other peoples very well behaved pups

Wonderful food. Staff are very friendly and attentive. We ordered our food from the winter set menu which was limited but sufficient. We will definitely be back

Fantastic staff who were flexible, accommodating and patient even when we arrived without a reservation and with a larger group than expected…really impressive! Such an amazing places, my partner and I love coming here. It's so cozy with the fire and lighting and food is great! So inclusive with gluten free and vegan options. One of the only places I can eat out this way. Just the best!

Great service, friendly staff. Good varied menu even if ou are vegan or dairy intolerant as we are. Great range of whiskies. Clean and pleasant facilities. Warm and friendly atmosphere.

We visited this little gem yesterday and it was so good we went back for dinner this evening. Moira was a fab host, nothing was a bother and huge compliments to the chef as the food was first class - highly recommend the chicken tenders and fajitas. It’s a 10/10 from us. Thanks guys 😍😍

Beautiful lunch in faerie tree. And amazing gluten free menu. Was there during a disastrous flood due to bad weather. Ended up stranded there and owner took us back to our hotel in his 4x4 as we couldn’t get our car through flooded roads. Above and beyond his call of duty and thank you so much.
