Having seen great reviews wanted to try it out. Luckily got a table as it was just before 1pm, so glad we did - lovely place, nice decor, table settings, great ambience, friendly service, reasonable prices, lovely food, decent portions - all good. My friend and I both had a baguette, with nice leaves and vegetable crisps - such a pleasant change from a few sad leaves & boring crisps !! Home baking available looked deelish, took a slice of lemon drizzle cake home for my Dad - didn’t think he’d manage it all … wrong, he thoroughly enjoyed it. Thankyou very much, will be back through from Forres again soon.

I have had lunch, cake and coffee here. Would highly recommend Ditsy. The staff are friendly, but always happy to see the owner, Laura, as I find her the most friendly and welcoming. Been here many times now, mostly for coffee and I would go more often if I could. Style and decor is great too.

We visited for scones and coffee, both of which were delicious! When I popped in to book a table the day before I asked if any of their bakes were egg free, as one of our group has an allergy, and they very kindly made a special scone with no egg wash. Always really friendly staff.

Stopped for lunch. Cutesy pie tea room. Very quaint. Had a bowl of amazing soup and a rich fresh buttery scone.great place to visit!

Probably the best tearoom I’ve ever been to. Be aware they don’t accept dogs but you may choose something to take away if you have no alternative for your pets. If possible, try to have a sit. The environment makes you feel in a romantic movie. Food was insane! I was not sure about my preference: sandwich or soup? The Ditsy Teacup had the perfect answer: you can have half and half! Don’t forget to try their brownie before leaving. The fact you are able to see them cooking cakes makes it even more peculiar and authentic.

Arrived at a busy lunchtime but was lucky enough to get a table. Met with warm friendly welcome. Lovely decor and good vibe. Usual tearoom type menu with soups, sandwiches, panini's and delicious looking fancy cakes and scones, all freshly home made. Had toasted panini's and pot of tea all served quickly and delicious. Salad dressing was amazing, you can buy to take away and take back your bottle for a refill once empty. Good chat throughout from hard working staff. Lovely visit, would definitely recommend and will definitely return next time we're in Elgin. Thank you TDT ❤️

It really all goes without saying in the Ditsy - but the service is top-notch, as always, the food looked great and was soo so sooo tasty! The best place we have been in Elgin, which has catered for allergies. So accommodating and thoughtful. Lovely service, too, and the BEST coronation chicken sandwich we have had!

Great staff. Great coffee. Great cakes. Always try to pop in when I'm passing but they're popular and often every table is taken. So if you see a free table get in there, you won't be disappointed.

This well presented cafe is a little hidden away if you're visiting Elgin and wandering the main streets, but it is well worth finding. It's pretty but without being twee, clean and sharp but not clinical. We found the staff warm and friendly, attentive and courteous. We had both hot and cold food on our order. Both came quickly and were well presented. The quality of the ingredients was clear and we were both satisfied with both the quantity and the taste of our meals. The drinks, where so many cafes fail, were great: the tea used was good, the hot chocolate neither too sweet nor too watery. Well done the Ditsy on not scrimping to save pennies and ensuring the customer gets a good quality experience at a fair price. We definitely enjoyed and appreciated our visit and will be returning.

Ordered avo and eggs with bacon on toast, orange juice and a flat white. Orange juice never came and neither did the bacon. Staff were apologetic when I went to pay, but not a great experience.

Stopped in past here today for some breakfast. A very attractive young lady took my order very professional. I had a bacon roll with tea and a scone which was delicious. I had a nice seat by the window really couldn't fault this establishment. Really had a homely comfortable vibe welcoming and friendly. Only regret that I couldn't stay longer to try more of their home bakes. Thank you

Ein wirklich nettes kleines "Cafe", in dem wir sehr gute Suppen und Sandwiches gegessen haben. Auch die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Sehr zu empfehlen.

So awesome! I was here this week with my husband and loved it. The perfect little tea room that I was looking for that day. I googled tearoom in Elgin and this was the first one that came up. I asked for an extra hot mocha, which was so good and brilliantly hot. When I ask places for extra hot, for whatever reason they are no good. But this place, perfect coffee! Made me very happy. Delicious food and a great portion size too. I heard the staff say they were short staffed, I thought they continued to do a great job with a smile on there faces too. I really hope to be back super soon.

My son and I love the Ditsy for the choice of soup, cakes and drinks. Lovely staff, place and quirky crockery. All cakes are homemade by Ditsy and my fave is the scones.

We went to ditsy as a ladies lunch to celebrate mother's day. I love this place, the decor is so cute, and the staff are lovely. We all enjoyed our lunch, from paninis, soup and cake, there are lovely homebakes, which include gluten free options, we will be returning soon I'm sure

Was here with my mum for afternoon tea. It was amazing. So well presented and it's such a boutique style setting inside. Everything was laid out before we arrived (we pre booked). Despite having a function upstairs, they staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough to help.

Always a pleasing visit to be had there. Simple but adequately priced menu with just the right size if portions. Friendly staff and easy parking. Close by to other shops so we'll worth a visit or three.

Ordered a takeaway festive afternoon tea from here whilst visiting my mum in Elgin. Laura (owner) very kindly fitted the order in at quite short notice. Great selection of sweet & savoury, with pigs in blankets and turkey sandwiches to add the Christmas feeling! Everything was delicious - and the jam was amazing! If they sell it by the jar then I'll be having one! Hopefully it won't be too long before we're back up visiting and will be popping into the Ditsy Teacup again!😍

What a wonderful stop this was. Lovely staff (I needed help with the Covid App! :-) ), everything home-baked and home-made - soup, cakes, sandwiches. It would have been lovely to go back every day and try something different!

Asked for poached egg on toast, egg was dry and toast was not toasted in a toaster, but on a panni cooker which made the toast really hard

We went to the Ditsy for a bit of lunch, I had the best ever Cream of Chicken soup!! It was soo tasty, I had a lovely half sandwich and a double espresso. Perfect place 👌 Thank you. .

Cute little place for a cuppa and some cakes. They had soya milk for anyone who can't have dairy. But the only thing was there was no cakes that were dairy free.

I ordered an afternoon tea for delivery to my aunt who had just been discharged from hospital. She was delighted with the contents and reported the food was lovely. The Ditsy Teacup were extremely helpful and the tea was delivered exactly when they said it would be. Great service and lovely staff. Would use them again. Xx

Me and my partner had our lunch here today. We have been a few times now. Food has always been amazing! Service is always outstanding, always so friendly and welcoming. It seems like such a fast paced kitchen for the staff but it never impacts...

Brilliant food. Amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly and happy, so easy to relaxed and at home. All staff had a happy glow and you could tell they loved working there. The menu is delicious and fresh. And all covid guildlines were followed.

Found this by accident since they appeared on the shop small Amex website as we were passing through Elgin. Parked at the multi storey car park next door since parking was a nightmare in all the other car parks. This is a beautiful little cafe...

Very pleasent atmosphere. Friendly staff and lovely food. (had the Halloumi with chilli jam sandwich and an egg mayo sandwich as well as two scones, one fruit and one special blueberry and white chocolate)

Covid guidelines were followed, it was cleaned on a regular basis and there was hand sanitizer available.The breakfast itself was absolutely gorgeous! I had a big Mocha and a bacon and egg roll, the roll was perfectly cooked in my opinion and the Mocha was really nice as well, creamy and not too bitter.
