Always get good food here,never leave disappointed.Great menu and lovely staff,if ever in Peebles give it a go.Nice conservatory through the back and hotel well located on high street.

First visit for us to this restaurant which came highly recommended. Starters, freshly made mushroom soup and duck breast with orange, walnuts and salad. Followed by fresh breaded haddock with handmade chips and chicken and Parmesan burger again freshly made. All the food was superb. Service was efficient and friendly. Prices very reasonable and value for money. We will be back for another visit. Thanks to the staff.

our stay at the crown hotel apartment was excellent, we had originally booked for April however we had to move our stay twice they were very accommodating. The food was excellent and the staff are lovely nothing was too much trouble we will certainly be returning to the Crown.

I have been to this pub hotel many times for food which has always been a fab experience! But it was extra special this time we decide as the UCI world championship being in Peebles we thought we would come and stay over for the weekend for the first time, we were in room 4 it was super comfy lots of space and really welcoming which was fantastic on the Saturday night with a belly full of great food and a few wines I slept fantastic. We got to see some of the bikes up Glentress on the Sunday was amazing fun to see all the action. We came Saturday and stayed till Monday the room included breakfast which was delicious as expected, we were out and about with friends during the day and we had dinner on Saturday night couple of us had steaks done to perfection along with some delicious peppercorn sauce and I had the Thai beef salad and friend had Cajun chicken salad and we shared some curly fries, then went for a real treats and had sticky toffee pudding which was absolutely amazing I asked the waitress who made it and she said they have a local lady who bakes for them definitely a must if ever in there!! Then we headed to the bar for a couple of drinks to relax for the night. After watching the bikes on Sunday had an amazing roast dinner with massive homemade Yorkshire puddings was a great end to the weekend. It’s such a great atmosphere it always busy with families, friends, eating and drinking!! One of my true faves, and must be a lot of other peoples as it always busy, the staff are always accommodating even when rushed off there feet. Would definitely recommend if having a wee trip to Peebles.

Visited for lunch recently and had a panini with fries and coleslaw. The panini was very dried out and really crunchy, so much so it shredded the inside of my mouth. I could only manage half of it and had to leave the rest. When clearing the table, the waitress didn't ask if everything was OK otherwise I would have mentioned it. I have eaten here before and the food was good but unfortunately not this time.

Fabulous food, yet again! Can't fault the place. Lovely staff, amazing food. Battered haddock brilliant every time. My husband had the Gammon, which was also cooked to perfection. My daughter has a soft spot for the waffles with nutella, strawberries and icecream .😋
