We had Sunday lunch here and couldn’t fault it. The ambience, service and food were excellent. Looking forward to going back to this gem of a restaurant!

We booked the Cranleigh for my wife’s 70th birthday party. We had over 100 guests it was a great venue everyone enjoyed themselves. The Buffet was great, good quality food and enough for all our guests. The hosts were helpful in making it a memorable night.

Didn’t realised it was Sunday roast day. But it’s fine. We like roasts. Starter was ok, my husband had prawn cocktails and I had mushroom. Main my husband had pork and I had roast chicken instead of beef. They listen to what I want it and delivered. Parsnip was super nice, but Yorkshire was almost burnt. We had profiteroles for dessert, it was tasteless tho, she said with Bailey chocolate sauce but I can’t taste the Bailey. Service was brilliant and the waitress also happy and chatty.

My family and I had a wonderful evening recently at The Cranleigh celebrating my Mum's Special Birthday. The venue was lovely; the staff were superb - friendly, professional, and could not have done more to make us feel welcome; the food was outstanding - first class. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning again soon!

We recently had our wedding at the cranleigh, from start to finish Christine was superb & I could not recommend her enough, as a self confessed control freak Christine made me feel totally at ease & everything was how I imagined no question was too silly & everything turned out perfectly, we had a meal on the day that we got married that was superb, the service was great & could not be faulted, we then held our reception the next day, again amazing service amazing food, if you are thinking about The Cranleigh as a venue then you will not be disappointed, also special mention to Joseph, amazing person & makes an amazing margarita, thankyou to Christine, Joseph & the team for making our days so special love Beckie & Matt (:

Management was rude and abrupt and staff were unhelpful. We had paid for a set time and when we had the bill, was charged for longer despite the staff encouraging our extended stay.

A good choice from the festive menu, tasted great, good/friendly service. A great atmosphere. Enjoyed doing the quiz.

Took my Mum for traditional Sunday Roast here but there were many options, this is a great smart traditional setting with very good service. All the staff were great especially Ann and Vanessa, food excellent and so many choices on the sweet trolley (a nice touch) Can't fault this place.

This is the 'go-to-place' for an excellent Sunday lunch. The menu is perfect for a roast and the service impeccable. Vanessa and Ann were friendly and professional serving our meals with the minimum of fuss and just the right amount of casual banter making us feel welcomed. The ambience in the restaurant is relaxed and mellow and we left contented and replete.

Nice relaxed atmosphere and great service. Sunday lunch is a set price with plenty of options, so much more than roast beef. Silver service with everything piping hot. Loved the display of desert examples brought to you on a trolley like a ‘live menu’, from which freshly made treats arrived later. The venue has an old fashioned English feel but is not dated.

We held our Year 6 Leavers Prom at the Cranleigh and it was perfect! The decorations were great, the food was very tasty and appropriate for 11 year olds and the DJ (supplied by the Cranleigh) was fantastic. The team were very good throughout and advised us re the management and safe entrance and exit of over 70 children. The sweetie cone for each child was a lovely little extra. Would recommend.

Me and my husband had a lovely roast pork dinner was so delicious everything was just spot on!! Lovely evening, good service from all members of staff. One of our party needed gluten free food, the staff knew which foods were ok and were happy to check whether the nibbles and chocolates were.
