Visited for a coffee, but have noticed on multiple occasions, some staff just socializing among themselves, dirty tables left and no excuses as there were enough staff to keep on top of it . Read other reviews about how" quirky or cool" this place is but tend to disagree. All in all, the decor is a confused mish mash of traditional ie gold framed pictures,yet others with pictureless empty frames and a horrific mockery of a Johannes Vermeer masterpiece the " the girl with the pearl earring only this girl is blowing gum! Trying to hard to be "cool" and unique but does not really wash at all. A major tarnish for this establishment is the customer toilet.. on numerous occasions , absolutely filthy and a disgrace that customers are expected to use such a facility.. Last time in I seen a dirty mop and bucket with dirty water still in bucket left in corner of the loo beside door..fixtures and fittings everywhere were dust and grime caked and sides of toilet filthy and as well as floor and window..looks like it's never cleaned properly..how on earth does the staff not notice...???well the reason being they are too interested in socializing among themselves and not paying attention to the details as in providing a clean customer focused environment. If I was the owner, I would have them dismissed anyhow. How can you allow a customer toilet to reach such a state..To do it right, staff should be checking hourly and have clipboard checklist and signature of staff with each staff taking responsibility but obviously not this place . Other cafes and establishments I observed, and in particular Armagh hotel toilets with far bigger footfall of people are spotless because they check ✔️ and clean them properly. I shall never be back at this pretentious establishment which is not " cool" at all, unless one thinks what I mentioned above constitutes as cool and acceptable and quality customer focused establishment. Not by a long shot..will never be back! The attached photos don't lie.. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone again! . Far superior options elsewhere.

Take away coffee and a treat! Lovely friendly service and nice coffee! The staff were efficient and cheerful! After not having a great lunch elsewhere it restored my faith that service staff could be friendly 😊

Service sells. You can have a mediocre product but great service and they’ll always come back and love it. You can have mediocre service and a great product but you’ll dwindle. These guys have a great product (the coffee foam art is incredible, come just for that) and really great service. I don’t know any of the two guys serving but we’re friends it feels.

The Craic’d Pot was recommended to us by a shop owner and we’re so glad we stopped by. The ambience is inviting as well as a bit quirky and the staff could not be friendlier. Coffee and a multitude of locally made bakery items were delicious. You can sink into a leather sofa or small table and chairs and take your time enjoying your snack. I wish we had a place like this at home!

On a recent day trip to Armagh last weekend we stopped here for coffee. Served by very nice guy, friendly and gave us great information on the area. Coffee super but the raspberry and white chocolate cake is to die for. Whoever baked it, knows how to bake! Lovely comfy seating, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Called in for an Americano Take Away, 2 young people serving, without asking i was served an americano with milk!!! I wasnt even asked if i wanted milk, the young lady serving couldnt wait to get back to her mobile phone. I love the coffee and the decor of this place but the service is really terrible, usually young people flirting with no interest other than checking their phones, cant they be made leave their phones in the staff room?????

Went here for lunch with wife toddler and 9mth old, stag were great and patient with us, for ease very good and desserts were delicious too. Can recommend the sausage rolls.

Great place. Lovely and cosy inside. Large choice of coffee and snacks. The service was friendly and quick with reasonable prices. Recommended

Class cafe. Adore the interior design - the lights, rustic furnishings and piano add a beautiful effect. My friend and I came for lunch. Only criticism would be the coffee was a wee bit cold, but that's OK :) would visit again and recommend.

Was ignored for 10 minutes with one person in front of me. For the small lady with grey hair and glasses to go “well”, rather than asking what I would like to order ? Was then served a coffee with it slurping all over the plate. Only to taste it and it to be pure bitter and burnt. It was disgusting , couldn’t finish it .it definitely was no a latte. Would recommend the woman works in something that is not customer service or making coffee .

I visited on the 07/09/19. After being drawn in by the great branding outside I stood in the queue to order my lunch. There were three staff members behind the counter at the time. I was there with my three friends the first friend got served fine, then the next. When it came to my turn to be served, the young girl behind the counter skipped me and served the two boys she seemed to know in the queue behind me. I was hoping that she would serve me next but then two girls came in who she also seemed to know and she allowed them to come to the top of the queue chatting to them and serving them next, even though I was clearly not being served at the time. I then continued to wait to be served only ordering a soup as I was extremely unimpressed after waiting at least 15 minutes in the queue. The Thai chicken curry soup was great however the same cannot be said about the staff. I see great potential for this place but not with the current attitude of some of its members of staff.

3rd visit , first time, my son took me for a coffee and it was lovely so I decided to take hubby for lunch on second and third visit , both times we were very disappointed. Coffee is lovely, both times hubby had the soup which he absolutely loved , Thai chicken curry soup, however on both these occasions the service was not good, my order was mixed up and delayed on 2nd visit , I told my husband to go ahead and have his soup rather than letting it get cold while I waited , they did apologise and deducted my coffee and sausage roll from the bill, for that reason , I have upped my rating from 2 to 3 , however 3rd visit ( we decided to give it another chance) service again not good , I ordered soup for hubby and 2 coffees as I had already eaten, soup came and again he said it was delicious, but no sign of coffees , had to go and ask for them , they had forgotten about them , they were busy when we arrived but my order was not taken until they had dealt with those in front of me which is only but right , mine was a simple order , shouldn’t have been too difficult, so they came with my coffee, the young lad said he would come back with a saucer for it so I assumed he would bring the other coffee, but no saucer arrived I didn’t mind about that , I waited couple of minutes and then went and asked about the other coffee, and was told it was coming, is it unreasonable to expect that they would arrive together ?? I honestly don’t think we would have gotten the coffee had I not asked . We were told they would deduct the second coffee from the bill , I declined as I really could not be bothered having to go back to the till and have it removed from my card as I had already paid. We will not be back and it’s such a shame because it a lovely setting , the coffee is really nice and food is delicious , and I like to support local family businesses rather than “chains”/franchises , I wish them well but need to up their game !

We stopped in for coffee in the morning. Had a coffee, a tea and a yummy cherry scone. Very nice. Did some sightseeing round Armagh - the cathedrales and the Mall. Went out to Navan Fort and then returned for a late lunch. We both had a sausage roll with a great selection of salads. They were very busy as there was an event at the Mall but the staff stayed cheerful and no one went away hungry!

Popped over to Armagh on a sunny Sunday evening and looked for somewhere to get a coffee and came across this quaint wee coffee house. The two young ladies were very helpful and courteous. We just had two laities And a slice of cake but my goodness was the rainbow cake was fabulous. We sat in the front part of the restaurant and admired all the lovely paintings and quirky photo frames and all In all we had a relaxing hour. When you want to head out in Dungannon or Moy for a coffee at 6pm in. Sunday night it’s not easy to find somewhere like this, it’s a gem....

Everything about Craic'd Pot Coffee House is pretty perfect. Especially good coffee, ambiance, vegan snacks and service from cheerful staff. Although their vegan offerings aren't huge, in terms of the usual vegan options in Armagh what is available here is good. Small range of vegan German Biscuits, chocolate and Rocky Road Tray-bakes. Haven't yet tried any savoury food, but there's a salad/ sandwich counter so I'm sure they could create a few vegan meals. Lovely coffee house in which to catch-up with friends or relax at a window seat and watch the sleepy, slow-moving streets of Armagh...

Title says it all. Chorizo sausage rolls are recommended. Great spot to read a book. Coffee is much better then the big chains

i called with 2 children on an afternoon visit. no cream for hot chocolates. no spoons washed. the 2 girls at the counter seemed more interested in their phones than on doing anything then a dirty mop and bucket full of water in the only toilet. just doesn't give a good impression. its a lovely place great decor and the coffee was top class but a few improvements needed i feel.

Being italian and having travelled the world I know what to expect abroad when I ask for an espresso or cappuccino. Well, in this lovely cafe, on top of the warm and friendly atmosphere, I had a delicious sausage roll and a perfect espresso, just like at home. But, without having tasted it, based on my 53 years of italian breakfasts, just by watching the bartender attention in preparing it, and judging by the creamy foam and color I can tell you that Craic's cappuccinos would be among the best even in Rome.

Went on in Sunday evening at 7.10 there was only one cake on display so before we ordered anything we enquired if there was more to choose from as it seemed unusual to have so little on offer. The waitress said they closed at 8 and that was all was available. There was still 50 minutes until closing but no effort was made to encourage us or tempt us to stay so we left and went elsewhere. Not impressed by the attitude and poor customer care

Coffee was Strong and Black, with a few Gluten Free cake selections for me and some amazing "wee buns" for the wife. Spend time here and enjoy watching the world go by.

We visited the Criac'd Pot twice while in Armagh recently and loved both visits. It has a really informal atmosphere and the coffee is great. Great selection of cakes as well. Well worth a visit.

Cute coffee shop to have a quick drink. The hot chocolate wasn't great. Decor was nice, but there wasn't a good them. Plastic items really took away from the vibe

Hard to fault Armagh's best little coffee house. Their selection of hot drinks, pastries and tarts is unparalleled.

Gorgeous coffee in such a friendly and welcoming coffee house - well worth a visit. A wonderful addition to Armagh.

This is a chilled and comfortable cafe with fantastic food and welcoming staff. The pastries are superb and reasonably priced.

Finally found a great little coffee shop! Not just the coffee but the pastries and everything about this place is spot on! Lovely staff, nice ambience, really nothing that needs improvement.

Staff made conversation and give you their undivided attention which is unusual for café workers. The range is great; lots to choose from. And lastly the decor is awesome especially the art work of David Bowie etc. One criticism (a very small one at that) is the chairs aren’t the best.

Called in for lunch and it was excellent bistro food. The meal was enhanced no end by the great staff who were so pleasant and helpful. When the bill came it was outstanding value.

Firstly, the service wasn't great at all as the employees never made an effort to be polite whatsoever. Secondly, due to our arrival at 9:20 (even though a main attraction is that the shop opens until 10) we were given takeaway cups instead of cups and saucers. Lastly, we were rushed out at quarter to 10 when the employees proceded to turn off the surrounding lights and make for the door, even after we questioned the 10 oclock closing time.

I called in here today just for a coffee and a scone. I was served quickly, efficiently and with a smile. Seating arrangements were cozy and comfortable. The wifi speed was good and so was the coffee and scone. What more could you want?

We stopped here for drinks as we were passing through Armagh, the service was good and quick, and the drinks were reasonably priced. The food and cakes looked lovely too.

We had lunch here yesterday- and it was really lovely. The food was good staff were friendly and a nice buzz in the cafe.

I'm a regular customer in The Craic'd Pot; I enjoy bringing new friends to it & I enjoy meeting friends there every week. The staff are so friendly & the place is really well run. Menu is limited in regards food but it is a great coffee house with lovely atmosphere; nice bit of decor, artwork & background music. Fair play to Scott & his team. Armagh needs more venues like it ;)

The people of Armagh finally have an indigenous coffee shop worthy of the "city". Locally owned and branded with great staff and fantastic coffee. Forget the copy and paste branding of Costa and Caffe Nero and support locally owned businesses.

If you want different then go to Craic'd pot lovely coffee and ambience. Really quaint surroundings you can get smacks here as well recommend their sausage rolls

Great range of coffee, tea, smoothies, traybakes, made to order sandwiches. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable seating, relaxed atmosphere. Good value. Definitely recommended.

Called for Lunch with my son an lovely friendly welcome.We ordered coffee and Sausage Rolls with salad it was so nice.The coffee was brilliant I'm really fussy about an Americo it was spot on.Best in town.

Have filled out almost three loyalty cards & tried most coffees on the menu by this stage so I think I'm in a position to rate this business 5 big stars!! So the other thing I have to state is that the staff are absolutely lovely, whether it's the owners or the staff - everyone makes us feel welcome & has a laugh and a chat - support this business - it's great for Armagh

This is a great weekend cafe to chill and relax. The food is mainly sandwiches etc and they have a full coffee menu. The surroundings are cosy and spacious.

Scott and his team have made a great effort with this venture. He always has a smile on his face and a bit of craic for you. Love the atmosphere, great in the evening if you bring a book for a cake and coffee but equally as good for a natter with friends.

Decided to give the place a try for an early lunch and will definitely be back!

Loved the decor and own pottery. Fabulous coffee and smoothies. Staff very friendly. Great experience overall.
