Absolutely incredibly service, food and atmosphere! I had one of the burgers and it was one of the best u have ever had! My boyfriend and I will definitely be returning!

Excellent from beginning to end. Welcoming staff who were fully accommodating of our friend in a wheelchair and our dog; efficient and friendly service; excellent cocktails; and absolutely the best burgers we’ve ever eaten. This isn’t a cheap place to eat but it’s completely worth it because of the excellent quality of the food. Just wonderful. We will be back.

Popped in for a coffee, but had to try "the best burger on the island". Well I wasn't disappointed. All beef patty that was perfectly cooked. Fresh bun and just enough lettuce and sauces to give that bit extra. Fries were hot and perfect. Oh, and my coffee, cappuccino, was fab.

Food was not great. The Moo burger is worth avoiding unless you can get them to do it without relish. The relish was truly awful and it was impossible to completely remove it. It ruined the meal for two of us. Everyone else said theirs was ok, but without great flavours it’s hard to justify the prices on the menu, and hard to be able to tell if the meat is as good as you hope. Similarly on the cocktails, it didn’t seem like anyone had tasted them and they need work. The staff were really, really nice tho, and for a quiet time we just kept quiet. I wouldn’t go back for dinner tho.

Lovely themed restaurant, with plenty of options on the menu to choose from, staff are friendly and dispute being busy the food was well presented and cooked perfectly. Will definitely recommend and will be returning! Thank you everyone !!

I have to agree that the burgers are the best - and I've tried tons of different eateries over the years. Love the ambiance at The Cow and the service is good. Two of our party chose the Sirloin steak and they enjoyed it, but said they'd had better. So guessing it's safe to say that this is the place to go if you enjoy a meaty, generous sized burger. No sweet brioche type bun here! Fries were abundant too and very crisp - not the floppy fries that many establishments serve up.

Best burger I've had in a very long time, and have great beer on tap. Would highly recommend coming here if you like a burger, and plenty of options for the kids too.

They say the best burger on the Island I can’t comment on that as we selected the 32oz Chateaubriand to share, their recommendation is medium rare I asked for medium as my wife is not fond of rare. It was a thirty minute wait which we were comfortable with as that cut of steak needs time, Our plates and sides were served with a further wait of seven minutes until the steak arrived on a board covered with a mound of rocket on top when this was removed it revealed a completely overcooked steak, I wanted to send it back pay for our drinks and leave my wife not being a lover of underdone meat was happy with it being overcooked so I went with her wishes not to cause a fuss. Though I was disappointed that they thought it ok to serve a £80 pound steak that had in my opinion been prepared by someone that had no idea how to cook a premium cut of steak. Very disappointing we will not return.

Family of 5 had a lovely dinner good kids menu and adults . Kids loved there burgers and we enjoyed are tomerhawk steak was cooked to perfection and extremely tasty

This definitely lived up to being one of the best burger places. The restaurant is set in a barn with cows EVERYWHERE!! Staff were very friendly and helpful. As a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids - 10 & 8 yr), we are aware that booking maybe required because it’s the busy summer period, but they soon found us a spot. Portions are a good size and all the food was tasty. Burgers cooked perfectly and the dirty chips are worth the upgrade. My boys had a chocolate mini shake for their pudding because it’s quite thick. Definitely recommend and would visit again.

Lovely place to visit and eat. Great holistic place with the farm shop and other things to do on the site. Service was great, food lovely but being a steak snob I will say it did fall just a tad short of the price point. I had the sharing tomahawk (to myself, no judgement please) and all the sides were great. Chips, tomatoes and mushrooms etc. A slight cold sauce which just made the experience a tad flat and for such a large steak I’d expect the chef to know to over season to compensate. It’s a large slab of meat so it needs some confident seasoning. It’s a tomahawk, it can handle it. The doneness was as asked so can’t complain but the flavour, just lacked. My friends ribeye (at ½ the price) was so much better. The other food served was amazing and some really creative ideas and serving options so would return for something else for sure. Be careful if a nervous motorbike rider as the place is entirely gravel, well, more small rubble style and the exit will have you at an almost 20% downwards decline which was exciting to say the least. Overall, it’s worth going, but maybe chose a smaller steak.

We came here for and excellent buger and it did not disappoint. The whole experience was great. The setting, the staff and food. Will definitely be back when on the island.

We came as a family for dinner. The restaurant is part of a whole set of buildings that have been developed in the farm land. The restaurant is well organised , large portions , and interesting place for the kids . Burgers were really good , and service was attentive. A great find

7 of us ate here & we all said how good it was, the food is top quality & portions are massive, we had 2 portions of garlic bread as a starter between 7 & it was plenty, the menu has got a lot smaller than last year but what they have on it is delicious, we just wish they still done macaroni cheese. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to family & friends.

I've eaten here four times and you hope that a venue updates the menu and changes it. Unfortunately it's not changed and they have issues that stop them from being a truly awesome beef restaurant.What are they missing?- no barbecue - no smoked meat- no selection of steaks- burgers made with very lean meat (dry not juicy)- they refuse to cook your burger outside of well done (cooking beef over rare or medium rare is a sin for me, you get a really dry flavourless burger patty that's sad to eat)- the gluten free bun is dry and crumbles like stale bread, sourcing a better bun would be easy- the option to double the pattyWhat could they improve on already?- their loaded fries are wet and lacking flavour. Treat them like loaded nachos with fresh guacomole, salsa, jalapenos and mozerella then you'd get something really nice. Squirty cheese and lettuce isn't good.- why not roasted corn?- why is there not an element of fresh dairy butter on the menu? - same for dairy based desserts? (stock Crave in Ventnor and you have some of the best in the UK.....)- a toasted tongue sandwich?- the best beef shin and tail stew you've ever had?- beef gelatine desserts - beef marrowThe area has the vibe of a ranch with lots of kids activities and outdoor areas to explore. Just doing a couple of basic burgers when the attraction is local produce being celebrated fully is sad. I would like to see more nose to tail eating with a more ranch dining experience that's essentially Brazilian barbecue meets tex mex in flavours and implementation. It just goes best with the scenery and it would diversify the menu appropriately. I think it's more important than ever to embrace local produce and whole food/nose to tail eating so I think it's a hugely missed opportunity to develop this venue and it's menu like you'd have "back in the day" or at a good farmers market in North America. The last straw was the burgers not being allowed to be even medium rare but well done. The burgers can't be a draw because good burgers have something like a 30-40% fat content which just isn't there and they used the first gluten free bun they could find. These choices push out foodies. In every other way the restaurant ran in a very standard and normal way. It's just the food doesn't reflect the venue or the opportunity to utilise and celebrate as much of the cow as possible.

Not for the faint hearted, The Cow offers giant portions for true burger lovers. The menu is expensive, however, this restaurant gives customers the highest value for money experience possible…an additional pound gives you ‘dirty fries’, loaded with cheddar cheese sauce, perfectly spicy chillis, and more seasoning and garnish. I ordered supreme option on the menu- a large burger with smokey sauce, smokey bacon, and a fantastically cooked patty…along with a larger slider on top! Great staff helped with The Cow’s online food ordering system (which has a simple, appealing, easy-to-use website scanned from a QR code unique to the table). Especially enjoyable playlist contributed to this restaurants atmosphere too which uses farm equipment as hanging lighting! Genuinely memorable meal, will be coming again.

sadly lacking: no lights in the very dark carpark no lights on the pathway to the front door no personal touch all by app. no recommendations no staff interaction over cooked starters, burgers over cooked and the bun was days old sadly lacking all round

As a resident of the West Wight I have enjoyed this restaurant, and the associated Tapnell Farm, greatly over the years. However, the systems ostensibly brought in for Covid, which have endured even now when other restaurants are back to normal, make it a place I would not return to. The rest of my comments I will reserve for a DM to the restaurant.

We visited here after going to the Aqua park and were starving!! Thankfully service was super quick & the burgers were sooo huge & delicious !! Great menu with lots of choice. Would advise booking as it was very busy (equally this shows how lovely the food is) will definitely make a return visit when next on the Isle of Wight

As ever, this place delivers like FedEx. Rapid, smiling service - even while there was a power cut - and excellent food. My boy even wrote his own review - see the photos!

it was very tasty and yummy. the food was good but don’t get the rum and gingerella, ended up eating the mint leaves to cleanse the pallete for that one. six out of five stars

We was recommended The Cow by one of our friends who often visits the island. Started off the morning by going Clay Pigeon Shooting (also on site) and then decided to refuel at The Cow. Warm welcome from the staff and the option to sit inside or outside. The menu was great and very well priced. The food didn't take long to arrive from ordering via the app. These burgers were possibly the best burgers I've ever tasted! Fresh ingredients and cooked to order, well presented with a side of chips. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this place to anyone and would 100% re-vist The Cow on returning to the Island.

really nice restaurant on a farm. I had a burger which was massive and also delicious. very good potion for price. My fiancee got a vegetarian burger and she also thought it was delicious. only thing is that you need to order from a app, so it's not very personal. I would rather have a waiter take my order but that's my preference.

We had a wonderful meal last night here. Husband had pave steak and I had the matadog. Highly rated both meals. Will be back.

Ordering via app, had good selection of burgers. Burgers were large and good, kids chicken burgers were good but fries / dirty fries were average. Friendly staff, quick service.

We went as a three generations of family and had a brilliant time. (Us parents may have spent the morning at the farm park next door with our daughter but met up with grandparents and aunties here for lunch!) prompt service and a great range of options. We risked it with the youngest having the burger which didn’t go well but ordered a second meal of crudités and breadsticks which they rushed through for us! Let’s be honest you go for the burgers but there is something for everyone chicken, vegetarian and traditional beef. Also a few insane options like the milkshakes, double burgers and dirty fries we ordered the lot because why not! It was delicious and a great place to visit for families highly recommend! X

Arrived here early for our dinner reservation as the weather was closing in and we were cold and wet. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and despite being nearly full, managed to juggle some tables and find space fo us early.The food here is amazing, we had two different burgers and a beef stew and they were all incredible. Tasty, perfectly cooked and enormous portions, so large we had to ask for a doggy bag to take almost half of it home.Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful but not intrusive at all.Atmosphere is great, can highly recommend, we will definitely be back.

We were looking for dog friendly restaurants and this came up in our search. We are not generally fans of burger places but this was a pleasant surprise. There is a wide choice of burgers including plant based. Ours were maybe one of the best we have had. Very meaty, cooked to perfection and the additions (Brie, bacon, relish, cranberry mayo) were delicious. This is an unpretentious place, no crockery and basic seating. Perfect for families and our pooch was made very welcome. Service great.

Had a lovely meal here with friends who recommended the place to us, as we like a good burger.The place also has great views of the sunset (weather permitting) and it wasn't this time around as it was cloudy.Still, it didn't make a difference as the food served here is terrific. The burgers we had were as good as I'd had anywhere. I think it was the Smoky one, with Fries. After eating we didn't have room for dessert (And we didn't have a starter).We sat upstairs, tables well placed for social distancing, serving staff were great, can't recommend highly enough.

This was the best burger I had while on the island. So good! Don't miss out on this gem. Plenty for the kids to do after eating as well.

Fantastic place, staff and service great, the decor was so fitting. Food and drinks just perfect ! Will be back for sure when we stay at Tom’s eco lodge again in the future.

Visited the farm park with the little lad and after working up an appetite we headed to this place for a bite to eat. Slick and efficient service was delivered by super friendly, helpful staff and the order app was shockingly an absolute doddle to operate ( my 4 year old ordered his own ) The food itself was very promptly cooked fresh to order and was superb. Definitely in the top 3 best burgers I’ve ever had. Awesome stuff and thanks to you all, we will be back for sure

Visited the Cow last night, I had read some of the recent reviews and kept my fingers crossed. Well, well, well we were not disappointed, we turned up and were shown to our table, lovely and clean and distanced from other visitors. We ordered on their app which was simple, very easy to use, drinks great choice, we ordered 4 different meals all arrived together and excellent quality and looked fab. Price was good and would defo recommend despite what some people have said on trip advisor. If I have an issue it would be in the car park. Lights come on directly outside but the car park is in the dark. Get ur mobile out as you will need the light. Enjoy

We visited the cow after a day at tapnell with the kids and was really looking forward to it as a treat to yourselves after hearing good things in the past about it. But I must say I was very disappointed the food was average at best. We ordered the Pave steak as it looked delicious on the menu and it says on the menu cooked med-rare which is how I like my steak anyway. The steak was very over cooked and tough, you could tell it hadn’t been left to rest for any time at all. It also had a slight strange taste to it, which at the time I just thought it was because it was a different cut, but have since googled to see and it’s basically the centre of rump steak, which makes me question now whether it should have tasted that way. My partners food was the same as mine and to add insult to injury he upgraded to dirty fries which was basically chips in spiced Mayo with random sliced red pepper on top. Very odd. It’s a shame as this place could be so much better. The kids did enjoy their food in the main. As for the service, the staff were disinterested and looked like they were losing the will to live as they walked to collect food from the pass. To many people there for the amount of customers seeing as you order through a scanner code - which I have gripes with but I won’t go into that. Overall a shame.

We stopped here for lunch as we just happened to be driving past and wow! Such a great place. The sustainability ethos alone should win awards but the food and the views were just incredible. We both had a burger and it was perfectly cooked with lots of beautiful accompaniments. Ordering via the app was so easy and it was great to see a photo of the food before you chose. Lovely staff and super quick service. Will definitely come back.

A lovely pub good food and beer although it did seem a little overpriced. Very difficult to ride up to the pud from the main road due to the loose gravel all the way up. Well worth the visit when you finally arrive though.

We have been going to The Cow ever since it opened. It has always been a favourite destination when we holiday on IOW along with Tapnell farm BUT not the last time we went in Sept 21. Firstly the service is really impersonal which to be fair is down to the covid set up where you order the food via app. So, hopefully a short term thing.For the kind of money you’re paying I want to eat off a plate not out of a paper box. No idea why they have started doing this.Mac and cheese was bland and my teen daughter left most of it. Teen son had the massive double stack burger and said the ‘Smoke’ flavour tasted so fake he couldn’t eat any more ( tried a bit and had to agree).My wife and I had salads. The Cesar consisting of half a field of lettuce a bit of chicken, half a boiled egg and some rock hard bits of bacon you’d think were freeze dried. I recon they came straight out of a catering pack. I pinched the bacon out of my sons leftover burger as at least it was freshly cooked and had some taste.Really disappointing as we’ve previously had some absolutely astounding food here. Just got the impression they have either got a bit complacent or dumbed it down, made it a more informal burger joint, maybe for greater mass appeal, but kept the gourmet prices. Really don’t mind paying good money for good food but on this occasion it was pretty average and we were so disappointed.Good to see they were very dog friendly.On leaving one of their suppliers bombed down the car park, flying past us at 30mph and kicked up tons of dust from the gravel drive which covered us. Kind of summed up the whole thing.

We initially tried to book via the app but it said no availability. However, after visiting the waterpark, we went in on the off-chance and they had a table in a couple of hours, giving us time to go back and get changed before returning.First impressions good, sanitiser on tables, no overcrowding and chilled water brought round in pretty local gin bottles. Ordering is via the app, but this seemed pretty efficient and the service was prompt and friendly.Only one steak option on the menu, which both myself and my husband had, along with dirty fries. Tasted really nice, but would have preferred proper home made chips. Also didn't like it being served in a cardboard box, especially as it wasn't particularly cheap.

We went here on a Sunday, booked a table at 17:30 believing, as stated on the website, that they were open until 9pm.We had to order food and drink form the app which, although we accept is the new way of things, makes the service so impersonal. The burger was amazing as was the side of coleslaw. The fries, like all fries, were average, much prefer proper chips but that is not an option. We then wanted to order dessert from a rather limited menu but couldn’t as it app said restaurant was closed. We were informed as we paid that we could have ice cream to take away! Not really the point! Don’t allow table bookings close to closing time if you’re not prepared to give the customer the full menu experience!

Fair prices, great burgers, allergen friendly. Swift service via the online order format. All allergen information is attached to each dish on the website. Get an upstairs table for views to the North, West and South. Ate here twice whilst on holiday and no issues with the food relevant to my Coeliacs disease. Popular with families due to location on site of a farm park.

Visited this restaurant with my family. The staff were miserable and ignored us until I approached them. We ordered the £18 burgers served on sweet buns. They were dripping with fat and tasted awful. The rosemary salted fried were dry and were more like chip sticks rather than fries. A pint of beer cost £6 and a mediocre cocktail £8. My mother in law had the macoroni which was dry with little taste. She left most of it. I think the attitude of the staff was the worst part of our visit to this restaurant. I would never eat in this place again.

If i could give more than a 5 i would!! Seen they were nominated for a best burger award and had won it last year so had to go and see.BEST BURGER EVER! Amazing burger, great fries we tried the big smoke burger and the wagyu burgers, fish and chips…amazing! Great service from the moment we walked in staff didn’t disturb unless eye contact was made which was great. Waitress’s were genuinely friendly and smiley .The restaurant itself is really well set out, comfortable and welcoming. Some great design and excellent outdoor seating.Online ordering via a QR code fantastic menu and easy to use.Total value for money, venue, staff, food!

Great place for a wide selection of burgers! Laid back vibe, order via app and you get updates on progress of your order via the app too. Service was prompt and friendly. Portions are plentiful and one of the best burgers we’ve enjoyed. Book a table upstairs for views over the farmland and out to the sea.

We had a fabulous burger at the cow, we had read how they had some of the best burgers on the island but I would say hard to beat in the U.K. or elsewhere…The menu and service are all online so you order via a qr code on your phone or via the app. There are lots of choices of burgers and sides with upgrades for dirty fries etc. A good selection of beers and wines and the service was good.We opted for the fish burger £13 and Waygu and blue burger £18. The burgers did not disappoint they were delicious. The buns which are mostly a disappointment when it comes to burgers I find were also soft and extremely tasty and we were surprisingly full extremely quickly. The area around The Cow has self catering accommodation, pods, football golf course and an aqua park. The restaurant is wooden ranch style with cushions and coloured sheep throws.

This place is fun with great food !. Fabulous barn and decor, nice staff and great food. Wish we had come during the day to see more of the farm.

I have been a vegetarian for many years, but i felt the veggie burger i had here was one of the best. Nice ambience aswell good for kids.

We visited The Cow restaurant following a visit to Tapnell Farm Park on a midweek afternoon with or daughter and grandchildren during a week’s stay on the island. We had pre booked a reservation here and many people like us seemed to be visiting after using the farm park. There is ample parking at the farm which is where we had parked and assume that this is available to restaurant customers, though note that the approach driveway is via an unmade road so drive slowly if you value your suspension.The interior of the restaurant is quite bright, spacious and on two levels, the restaurant was not too busy when we arrived but there was a continuous arrival of new diners whilst we were there. The menu comprises a good selection of what may be described as ‘gourmet’ burgers but there are some alternative dishes as well if burgers are not to your taste. A children’s menu is also available. There is a bar area and on the day of our visit people were making use of the spacious outdoor area to enjoy the early evening sunshine being served from a separate window.Our waitress took our drinks order first and then our food order and was polite and efficient. The food was served in a timely manner interestingly in a cardboard box which I suppose saves on the washing up. The food quality was good and with a portion size likely to satisfy most appetites, even our grandchildren were happy with their meals.We enjoyed our meal here and I would certainly recommend a visit here particularly for family groups either if they had previously visited the farm or as a specific meal venue.

We ate here a few weeks ago while visiting the Isle of Wight. Would definitely recommend. The burger was great, dirty fries were amazing although would have preferred them slightly hotter as seemed alittle cold but could be down to being in a large table. The burger though, was the best burger I have ever eaten!

We chanced our luck after a day out at Tapnell Farm & were lucky to get a table after a short wait - I believe it’s so popular that it’s generally booked up in holiday times. We ordered our own food via a phone app, able to give special instructions (for the “no cheese in my burger” family member).We all had varying burgers & all were great. Too stuffed for dessert! If we were back in the area again we would definitely book it another time.

My wife and I visited here for a meal which was excellent. I had the wagyu beef burger and she had the pave steak. Both were delicious. Good value for money and very efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.

Fantastic food, great views and plenty else to do as wellWe had the Mac and cheese which was large and fulfilling. Also the fish and chips was lovely. Orange from the beer they used for the beer batter but fantastic taste. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to all. I would suggest you reserve a table as it is very popular.

We've had several lovely meals at The Cow. It's wonderful and handy being next to the petting farm, too. Looking forward to coming back.

Visited on spec and although fully booked, managed to squeeze us in due to no show.We all agreed it was some of the most tasty food we have ever had. The burgers are truly amazing and the coleslaw also tasted unique and delicious.All in a very friendly atmosphere and well spaced out which is, also another advantage in these times of Covid.Cannot recommend enough. We had heard good things about this place so wanted to give it a try & so glad we did, the burgers, fries, coleslaw & potato salad were all amazing, my daughter had the pave steak & was given a steak knife but it was so tender she easily cut it with a normal knife. I love the theme in here. We will definitely be returning.

The cow was a lovely place to eat after we had finished using the water park. The burgers were delicious and the coleslaw was outstanding, a large favourite around the table. We were a very large group of people and the service was quick and easy once we had scanned the barcode. The prices were very good for the quality and quantity of food that you got. Highly recommended and would really recommend to families.

Quite possibly the best burger I’ve ever had. Definitely up in the top tier. I had the wagyu patty and it was literally melting in my mouth. The fact that you can sit there eating you beef filled lunch overlooking the farms cow filled fields only adds to the taste experience.

Love the theme, layout and design of the restaurant. Booked before going away as the place we wanted to eat was full so it was a gamble. But everything happens for a reason. What a find. Great food - dirty fries are lush - and good value. Happy customers all round.

Superb restaurant. Friendly staff, great food and wonderful service. We arrived without a reservation and would be informed there would be a wait for food. However, we were served our delicious food within 15 minutes. First class all round and highly recommended

Family 6 all had different burgers and can I say I was amazed probably the best we have ever eaten. The teenagers keep on all day raving about them . Also great design in the restaurant and farm 10/10

Visited as a party of 6 including 3 kids under 10 for evening meal. Service was warm and friendly, the food was fairly limited as the focus was on burgers (quite right too as that’s the point). Food was excellent and dare I say the best burger I’ve ever had. Great fresh quality ingredients, well cooked and simply served. Very happy!

My family and I had booked the Aqua park before arriving in Isle of Wight, I had seen the restaurant and thought be easy to eat there after the august park. None of the family were disappointed. The burgers tasted amazing my husband had a burger with then a mini burger on top he said was delicious. I had a fish burger which the fish was delicious. A portion of their dirty fries again delicious. This was very filling couldn’t manage a dessert unfortunately. I recommend booking as it was busy and seemed very popular. Great location to. I definitely recommend this place

We visited the cow after attending the aqua park and farm park, we hadn’t realised there was a restaurant on site so after a busy afternoon we decided to grab dinner here and we were so glad we did! The restaurant decor is great, there is both indoor seating as well as outdoor where you can grab a blanket if you feel chilly. It was extremely clean, comfortable and the staff were polite and friendly. Both myself my husband and my eldest son had burgers and they were honestly amazing, quite possibly the best we have ever eaten and My youngest son enjoyed his Mac n cheese. We felt the prices were reasonable too. This is a real gem and we cannot recommend it enough. Be sure to make a reservation though, we were lucky to grab a table due to it being very early into the school holidays.

Visited The Cow tonight after first trying it out a year ago. We all felt the food was much nicer last time: I had the "no beef burger" which was pretty stodgy (portabello mushroom burger last Yr was outstanding but no longer on the menu), my husband had the "blue moo burger" but didn't like that it was drowned in sweet chili sauce, one daughter had cajin chicken and said it was nice, the other had mac & cheese which was OK, but £12 for a bowl of packet pasta in cheese sauce seems a bit steep. Also thought soft drinks were very pricey..... £16 for 4 of us to have a large diet coke. Overall experience was okay but I don't think we'll be rushing back..........

Booked a table via the app for after our visit to the farm. Was seated upstairs which the kids loved as they could watch the people over on the aqua Park. served a cold bottle of water, much needed as it was a really hot day as soon as we sat down. Waitress explained about ordering system. App was really easy to use, order food and drinks and pay. Drinks were brought just a couple of minutes after ordering and waited for food about 20 minutes. Ordered a mixture of things, burgers, veggie burgers, steak and kids meals. Massive portions and everybody enjoyed it! I had the beyond veggie burger and it was absolutely amazing (messy due to the size of it but amazing ) which came with fries. The kids meals say recommended for children under 6 but they are huge, far to much for my 2 year old and my 7 year old only just managed to finish. Lovely little place with very tasty meals. Would definitely recommend and visit again if on the island

Me and my partner came here after going to the Aqua park. Service was good and we both ordered burgers. They are a little bit on the pricey side, but tbf I would pay it again as the burgers were sooo good and up there with the best we have ever had.

Service and food were both excellent. They were very friendly and welcoming, microwaved the baby meal for us and even offered to top up our drink when we spilled it. Pave steak and chicken burger were delicious. Portions very generous. Will definitely return.

A very good menu to choose from. Plenty of options for kids and reasonably priced. The dirty fries were awesome as was the local brewed bottled beer Planet lager.

Quick, efficient service, excellent good and glorious views! Dont hesitate to go there, the burgers are fab!

Little bit tricky negotiate (possibly more our issue than theirs), but when it came it was excellent. The burgers were large and tasty, as was the hot dog. Loads of French Fries with sea salt and rosemary a nice touch (didn't expect to enjoy that flavouring). Sat upstairs and had a view of the sea.Teenagers had visited the Aqua Park first (look at the website and book ahead, it was busy), great fun like Total Wipeout TV programme or lots of other things to do - farm, archery, axe throwing, foot golf (Didn't have time to try it all).

The burger I had was mega tasty and so reasonably priced, the portion size was also perfect with a good size helping of fries (also delicious)! Service was also quick and friendly! All in all I am very sad that I live on the mainland and won’t be able to just nip in for lunch again.

Highly recommend the Cow for dinner, the burgers were absolutely amazing possibly the best I have ever eaten.The service was not only great but fast.Portion sizes were great and the price was good.Unfortunately we don't live on the island so won't be able to visit again anytime soon but will most definitely be booking again when we visit next year.

We ordered burgers (of course) although one was a sweet potato and beetroot burger. All the burgers were the best we’ve ever eaten, delicious and good size portions. Will definitely return next time we’re on holiday here.

Burgers were decent. Really didn’t like the buns all soggy and disintegrated underneath. Lovely coleslaw. ‘Dessert’ terrible. We tried a Brownie and a Donut. Ok they were cheap but you would get better in a supermarket, would rather pay more and they put something nice on the menu - these were dry and The brownie was terrible, more like a piece of cheap cake :-(

A nice casual dinner where you can order from you mobile at your own pace which we loved. The service was prompt and always with a smile. Generous portions and a truly epic burger - would definitely come back for more!!

Wow. Firstly the food was absolutely delicious - we ordered the Louisiana chicken burger and the double smokin trouble beef burger which were outstanding. Potentially one of the best burgers EVER, and definitely best on the island. We over ordered with the Mac and cheese too, but this was disappointing and bland - best to stick to burgers! The whole set up of the Farm is lovely and was very friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be returning!

Maybe one of the best burgers I've had ever! So tasty.We went on a weekday lunchtime, had not booked ahead and got a table. It is worth paying a little extra for dirty fries.Milkshakes were also tasty. Cool décor and fun model cows outside for pictures.Order via QR code scan and website, very easy and efficient service. Good kids menu, our 4 year old enjoyed his mac and cheese.

Great spot for a family dinner after a day touring the island. Staff were amazing and can definitely recommend the burgers and milkshakes. Will be back there soon!!

Agree that they are the best burgers in the Isle of Wight, lovely place, lovely outdoor areas and lovely food. Also has so much more there with the water park, shop and other activities

Well, we are GUTTED we live so far away and can’t make this our regular hang out. Had this on our holiday for lunch, and my god we didn’t need to eat dinner at all! Incredible food, incredible portions and amazing quality. Even the milkshakes , beauties !

Fantastic pub. Fit us in last minute! Went with 3yo and 1yo.Food ordered on an app and easy to use. Food came really quickly.Big portions! Amazing food. Beef burger was best my husband had had! I ordered the matador but with no meat on and a vegan burger pattie instead. They were great at sorting the order out.Being water straight to the table straight away. Really lovely staffWell worth a visit!

Had a great meal here tonight with our black lab who was entirely welcomed with a bowl of water. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Fish burger was absolutely fantastic. Service was poor, wait stuff didn’t know much about the menu. Ordered a meal, which wasn’t as described in the menu. No care or attention, just a shug of the shoulders and asked for money.

I wanted to write a review as I felt these guys really deserved it. Recently been to the farm park for a family day out with my husband and kids aged 7, 9 and 11. I find it hard to find somewhere that entertains us all and this place has nailed it. Water park, go carts animals and so much to do in the farm park and then we had amazing food at the cow. The steak for perfect. Not too formal and comes in a cardboard tray but the best steak I have had in a while.Will definitely return and looking into booking into the glamping site next time as so many different fabulous looking options.This really makes for a fun and easy family day out. I thought it was great value. Thank you to all the team there.

We stumbled on The Cow and as a coeliac, was happy to see GF good. My other half and I both had a cheeseburger and chips, as we wanted to see how good the burgers were without all the trimmings, and they were lovely. The chips were my favourite I had on the IOW and well seasoned once I shook some of the salt off. The bun wasn't the normal 'falling-apart-and-dry' gluten free bun I normally get.I have a sensitive stomach and didn't react, so would like to say a big thank you to the chef's for taking care with cross contamination. It is noticed and appreciated! With a bottle of wine and 2 meals, our bill was around £30. Very fairly priced. My one suggestion would be, for people like us who stumble on the farm, a table or info pack with the the rest of the farm would be appreciated. We weren't sure if we could book on axe throwing or football golf after, and was interested in staying here.

We have been to the cow many times, and having been back recently, think they have adapted to COVID guidelines brilliantly. Food is always good, service always impeccable and just such a fun, relaxed place to be-which is saying a lot when you are having lunch with an 18 month old! Would recommend to anyone visiting the island.
