We had a very enjoyable meal in the large bar - plenty of tables with large lime green chairs. Something of a novelty for me in that you look at and order your meal choices and drinks via an on table mini computer screen. No paper menus so to speak but all very efficient and the bottle of chenin blanc wine (£25.50) arrived incredibly quickly and was good. We enjoyed our respective mains of burger and lasagne and with one dessert and 2 coffees the bill including the added tip of £7.49 came to very expensive £81.57. Lucy our watiress was efficient and helpful. However it was convenient and we had a relaxing time here - would willing eat here again.

Good food and great service! We went this evening for a quick bite to eat before our flight, early tomorrow morning. We weren’t expecting too much from an airport hotel but the food was good and fairly reasonable. But the service was fantastic (fun, friendly, quick and professional). Especially our server, Francesca. Thank you so much for making the start of our holiday so great! X

Surprisingly good! Wanted something healthy but not too many options for that, but I had the Sea Bass and split that with her indoors, and she had Caprese Salad and broccoli Stilton soup, which I shared. The food was served hot and tasted really good. The Bass was accompanied by two portobello mushrooms and a large portion of roasted new potatoes. The service was also very good indeed. Not so great on atmosphere, and spoiled somewhat by a family with untrained kids nearby who made more noise than their size warranted. Prices very reasonable. Go again? If I’m at the airport, yes. For a date? Probably not.

Stayed to eat in the hotel as we had to drop off the car for a parking/hotel deal. Restaurant service was reasonably good but let down by the food quality, tasteless and dry chicken kebab starter and poor quality fish in the fish and chips. Meal was not good value. Will probably try somewhere new next time after several visits to this hotel.

We were staying few nights at a hotel, so eventually had to try this place for a diner only. Since it is a airport hotel restaurant, it’s not very charming so to speak, yet had friendly staff and rather warm atmosphere. Menu is quite unpretentious, but quality of food is on average side and it is rather expensive for what it is. All in all, since there is not too much choice in the vicinity, it’s a obvious choice for a dinner for hotel guests, otherwise I would recommend giving this one a miss.

We found the service very friendly and welcoming. Great variety of menus options. We ordered the salmon, gammon and chicken, ham and leek pie and the only negative was the cream sauce with the pie and hollandaise sauce with the salmon. Both lacked any flavour and tasted like warmed cream but otherwise they were all excellent. Prices were pretty much what you’d expect from an airport hotel, a little steep, but no more than is typical.

Service was very quick, and the meal arrived even quicker(bad sign). I ordered 2 starters and a side and I can honestly say it was one of the worst prepared food I have ever tasted (I am not sure tasted is the correct word), the food is obviously preprepared, but how that is done I have no clue, the grilled chick starter can only be described as boiled chicken. Not cheap and terrible quality, definate 1 star for me.Funny part was when the server came to take my Plates away, and asked how was the meal, I replied terrible.. was not good at all. I do not think he understood me when he replied good, would you like a dessert. Pro's meal and back to the room in 30 minutes.

An overnight stay at the hotel and far too cold to venture out for dinner led us to eating here. We shared a tempura prawn starter (6 prawns) - well cooked and tasty with sweet chilli, wasabi and soy dips. For mains I enjoyed a char-grilled gammon steak with fresh pineapple and egg. My wife had the mushroom lasagne - a bit different as there were no tomatoes in sight but very tasty. The service was friendly, attentive and helpful throughout. With a glass of wine each the bill was £50 which seemed fair. Wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again if staying at the hotel.

We were at the Courtyard Marriott awaiting our flight on Christmas eve. Only choice unless we wanted to Uber a distance to another restaurant. We chose to stay in and dine at The Cow. Service was excellent. I wish I had the name of the lovely woman who took care of us. She was working the entire holiday weekend but she was so cheerful and pleasant about it. Steak was very good but most delicious thing was the garlic sauce that we chose. If I could, I would buy a bucket of it and ship it back to the US. Lovely rocket and parmesean salad and they even made our dessert to go so we could enjoy it in our room while we watched tv. We were staying at the hotel because we had an early morning flight the next day, we didn't know the area so were forced to use the restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the menu was limited, if like me, you don't eat red meat.We knew it would be expensive because it is London and you know you're going to be ripped off, but £75 for 2 meals and 2 drinks is really taking the mickey. My husband had soup and we both had fish and chips, I wouldn't have minded so much if the food had been good quality or if it had been the finest cut of steak, but it's basic food. We actually left half of it as we didn't like the fish, it was dry so presumably was quite old. We normally have haddock or cod in Yorkshire, but this was hake, which is supposed to be the cheaper version of cod, they are simply ripping you off because they can.

We came here as we were staying at the Marriott before an early flight at silly o'clock the next morning. As we had checked the car in we had no choice but to eat here. As it is this was a good decision. The staff were really friendly and helpful and there was an interesting range of food. Between us we had squid in breadcrumbs and tempura prawns. Both of these were delicious but at £7 each it was perhaps a bit expensive, however this is London and we were a captive audience so they could have charged a tenner and got away with it. Our mains were sea bream and chicken fajitas, both were delicious although the fajitas were lively and possibly too spicy for some.Overall we were happy with the meal and the way we were looked after.

My wife & I decided not to leave the hotel and instead chose to eat at The Cow at the Airport Courtyard Marriott Gatwick. We didn't have a reservation but didn't seem to meet one since there were many tables available as the restaurant was not busy at approximately 7:50 PM. The hostess was not at her station so we waited to be shown to a table. As we waited we noticed 3 servers standing at the servers station talking. They saw us standing there but made no attempt to come over and ask if they could help us or alert the hostess. So we continued to stand there only to find out, to our surprise and disappointment that one of the three servers was in fact the hostess. She eventually came over and asked if we had a reservation and our room #, etc. She showed us to a table. We ordered our food and within minutes the food was delivered. I was immediately suspicious since I ordered a pasta dish Penne Arrabiata with chicken. The plate had a dried tomato sauce ring above the pasta level - my first suspicion was that the pasta had been microwaved. (We had just arrived from a week in Italy - so I know what fresh pasta looks and tastes like). The pasta was over cooked and there was a few cut up pieces of chicken mixed in. The waitress came by and asked how everything was and I decided I wasn't satisfied and returned the dish. I didn't dare order another dish so I ate my wife's salad while she ate her tomatoes soup. Good enough. When we were done eating the waitress asked if we wanted dessert we declined and waited for the check. The waitress proceeded to walk by our table multiple times and never delivered our check. We patiently waited for 15 minutes until finally I stopped her and asked her for the check. To top it of she delivered the check that included a 10% tip. Microwaved food and poor service = I'LL PASS THANK YOU.

There are some quirky items on there but we stuck with old favourites, Chicken Skewer starters, which were tasty, but be warned the dip is spicy, in a good way, but you need a drink to hand.My husband ordered the burger but without cheese, as he has an allergy. I ordered Sea Bass but I asked for the head to be cut off and the waitress offered the fish filleted which I gladly accepted. We had desserts which were also a lovely brownie, which was very moist and tasty and a cheesecake. We were served in the main by Rena, who was a lovely girl, friendly and helpful. We could exchange stories about Budapest. One of the guys who served our mains was a bit rude, with no customer interaction and no offer of ketchup etc. In fact if if wasn't for Rena who more than made up for him the mark would be much lower.
