Nice food and ambiance, BUT. Rudest person ever showed us to our table. After we ordered a second round of coffee and some dessert, she said “I need the table back in 15 minutes”. We never told about there being a time limit to taking the table and having just made an order this was simply now possible. Got the rudest response when we challenged her and she actually accusing us for raising our voices, while she was the one doing it. No concept of client satisfaction whatsoever. Shame, as other staff were nice and polite.

booked here for a hen party, great food, piping hot, could not fault this place, staff attentive, couldn’t do enough for us. well worth a visit, will be going back there.

Busy Saturday atmosphere - very popular. The breakfast menu is excellent - good non-meat options as well. The chorizo hash was very good. Great service by Edyta.

Went with my daughter to the central Cardiff venue. The staff were lovely … no complaints about the service. However … the cocktails were average … and the meal 🥘 portion was very small … it was more like a starter. I wanted a white wine … but nearly all had tropical and fruity flavours. We ended up with the organic red … which was decent. However … everything was satisfactory … but nothing special … and overpriced.

Stopped in here on a whim for breakfast before heading home after a great weekend. Modern but warm decor, really good service and a good quality breakfast ( including a really good range of gluten free options). Well worth a visit ( and try to get a window seat and enjoy watching the world go by)

We went here for a family meal during a half term trip to Cardiff city centre. The surroundings are quite nice, but it's basic pub style food, to be honest. Definitely nothing special. I had an acceptable burger, but it was newly £16. The really poor aspect was the children's menu. The kids portions were derisory (approx £7). So small, my kids had two each! Baby portions. Extremely basic too. We complained, but nothing was said or done.

Awful, 1 very rude female member of staff, 15 minutes late to be seated even though we booked online 2 weeks in advance, went with 12 family members, only 1 was satisfied with the food as he had ordered a burger, can't really go wrong with a burger can you? very disappointed, won't be going back.

Superb place for a meal, drinks and the service was first class 🥇. 👏. Birthday catch up, even brought across two bottles of prosecco for free. The food was amazing, definitely a place to go in Cardiff bay.

We hadn't booked a table for brunch and although it was busy the staff were happy to find is a table. All the waiting staff were friendly and courteous especially Edyta who was lovely. Food was great and was served quickly even though they were very busy. We will be back .

I was torn between awarding 4 or 5 stars because it's casual dining and located in a shopping centre unit, I opted for the 5 stars because they have done some things extremely well and actually despite what I just said about the location, it is actually one of its best points. Cosy Club is located on the first floor of the St David's Mall, albeit on the outside if you get my drift. If you can get a window table, such as we were led to, you get the entertainment of watching this part of Cardiff go by and it is quite mesmerizing. The decor inside is first class, whoever did the interior design really excelled on this one. You're transported away from the fact that you are sitting inside a glorified concrete box into a glitzy, cossetted, part deco, part hunting lodge dream-like place. In fact so experiential was the decor and the view it really didn't matter that the food was ever so slightly off. I had the Sesame Salmon, the noodles and vegetable component of which was excellent. The salmon however was slightly overdone, but as I said so enjoyable was the overall experience that I pretty much overlooked that.

Out with friends for a meal. Food was good but nothing amazing. Menu seemed limited but appreciate this may be the chains choice and theme. Drinks seemed over priced for what was on offer. £42 for 4 cocktails which was majority ice was a let down. No offer of pitcher for drinks which could have provided better value. Staff very nice and friendly. Good understanding of menu and order was reasonable quickly received.

Cardiff City Cosy Club visit 27.1.24. Well done, Cosy Club Cardiff. From being greeted by the smiley hostess and taken through to our table, our evening was really good. I was with a group of 4 other friends. Our waitress came over once we had settled with a jug of iced water and filled our glasses rather than leaving it for us to do. Nice touch. As groups of do, it took us a while to stop the chatter and look at the menu, not a problem at all. The club was very busy, a good Saturday night after the January blues, I think. Bottles of wine for the other four and Bristol brewery milk stout for me, all liked and consumed. I ordered the leek, brocolli, butterbean, and cheddar mashed potato pie, as did one of my friends, two burgers, and a risotto finished our order. Our food took just over half an hour to arrive, which I think is acceptable given the restaurant was packed with several large tables, I think one had at least 20 people on who had ordered just before we sat. (Well done kitchen team) My pie looked very homemade and was really tasty, a good portion too, and blimey was it hot from the oven. The salty cheddar really was yummy and went well with the mash. Risotto was good and not the overcooked stodge you often get, and the he burgers looked well made with fresh crispy chips. Again, well done, kitchen team. Clean plates feom all! There was at no point in our visit any rush. As the restaurant emptied quiet quickly as groups moved onto louder venues, our bill was requested and delivered. I think this was my best visit to a Cosy club, sorry Plymouth and Taunton. I highly recommend a visit here.

Five stars for even attempting the Massaman cauliflower. Massaman curry is one of my all-time favourite foods and I like the spin that Cosy Club put on it. The service was also excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed, and I liked the views over The Hayes - it was especially cosy on a rainy day.

Shocking. Girl wouldn’t split the ticket more than one time because she just couldn’t be arsed. Offered her a tip to encourage it and she then accused me of bribing here. Sort your life out child and let someone with an ounce of maturity do the job instead. Will never return.

Shocking customer service, asked for another tea bag as the tea was weak charged another £5.80 for the tea bag!! Eventually took it off my bill after querying the manager/ male was smirking then telling other people & all looking over at us making us feel very uncomfortable. When we left he said goodbye sarcastically, he was Very immature. Need to have better training on how to treat customers! Previously went there 27th December for evening meal & the staff couldn’t do enough & we enjoyed. Due to today’s bad experience we will never return!

We were a party of 8 (including 2 young children). Since we booked a table, we were seated straight away on the Wednesday after Christmas at lunchtime. The food variety was very good. The kids menu was good too. My second visit and both times were very pleasant. Overall, a very good place for a meal or hangout for a drink.

Just had a lovely meal with my friend. We booked a table for 1:30, arrived on time and were therefore seated promptly at a window table by a friendly woman. We were served by a lovely waiter called Derryn who was also very friendly and attentive. My friend ordered the Green Brunch which she said was very tasty, and I ordered the chicken salad with fries which was even better than I expected! It was delicious! We were also given a bottle of iced water for the table without asking, which I always appreciate. Even though we knew when booking we had to be gone from the table by 3pm, at no point did we feel rushed. I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch date here and will definitely be recommending and returning. Such a relaxing atmosphere. Staff friendly and professional, nothing too much trouble. We had the dirty chicken burger, and omg 😲 it was stunning! The best burger I've ever eaten in my life! What a fab place, the deco, the food, the service, the price - it was my first visit and I really enjoyed it. My friend and I had avocado and salmon on sourbread and a lovely bottle of red wine - it was all reeeeally good.

Yet again perfect for a night out

We visited cosy club for breakfast for the first time. It was okay but I wouldn’t rush back. We were seated behind a pillar so I personally felt a little forgotten about. Service was slow and whilst staff were all polite, they were clearly stretched. We waited a while to order and when our food came it wasn’t very warm and the rosti was absolutely rock solid burnt. Nobody came to check on us and there was nobody to flag down. Even when our plates were collected we weren’t asked if everything was okay with the food and we had to once again flag somebody down for the bill. Flavour wise the food was good (what wasn’t burnt anyway!) but I did feel slightly robbed paying nearly £40 for what I’d describe as an average visit. I wish we’d found an independent cafe instead. It is close to Christmas so staff are maybe stretched and in need of a break but it wasn’t the best experience and I wouldn’t really recommend.

Came for dinner on Friday 22nd December. Pre booked a few nights prior. As we arrived we were met with a rather miserable lady with dark hair in plaited pig tails who took us to the worlds smallest table crammed into a corner where we had to sit side by side one another and I couldn’t pull my chair out due to a post being right behind me. We explained that it wasn’t a suitable table (being pregnant and needing to pull my chair out). And she proceeded to basically imply it was tough luck. We were eventually offered one other table which was allegedly the only other option and it was by a large group of people which she was clearly trying to use to put us off. As it turns out, two other couples have since come in and been offered two seater tables, not being the one we were initially offered. She was unhelpful. Abrupt. And to be quite honest downright rude. I know it’s Christmas. I know it’s busy. But this is your job. Customer service is your job. I’ve worked in hospitality for many years and there has never been a day when I have treated customers in such a rude and disrespectful way. Not one smile. Not one apology. Not one “I’m so sorry we are incredibly busy but let me see what I can do”. Nothing. If you can’t even pretend to be polite. Don’t work in such an environment. On a separate note the food was great and the other staff we came into contact with were also lovely. However, after such an experience with that one particular member of staff, we won’t be returning.

Very small over priced portions of nice food. not spectacular just nice, starters were the best.. Just really not enough for the price Xmas pie lovely but felt store bought No flavour to the veg,soft and over cooked maybe too small a portion to actually taste anything.? the christmas burger was genuinely the nicest thing i’ve eaten in my life, so stunning, service was a little bit meh to be honest, i think we would’ve received better service had we been ordering alcoholic drinks and spending a bit more money but we came for the food and it didn’t disappoint!

Unbelievably good breakfast/brunch. Incredibly tasty and filling. The interior was wonderful, atmosphere buzzing and the service was impeccable.

The only real positive I can give this place is the decor, location and the staff. The negatives? The food, for the price you pay serving sizes did not reflect the price. Food was either wrong or was cold even when it has supposedly come off the line and hot plate. I'd say if you just want a drink and a chill then give this place a go, if anything more, then I would steer clear as much as possible and find somewhere different

We stopped for a coffee after a fairly tiring Christmas shop. I happened to mention to Effy, who was working behind the bar, that my mouth was very dry. She brought a carafe of iced water with our coffee, which was so kind and thoughtful. I'm having cancer treatment, not that Effy was aware of that, and I appreciated this thoughtful gesture so much. Happy Christmas, Effy!

service was so slow we were refused a dessert as our "time was up" and they needed our table !!! very disappointed as our party of four had spent quite a bit of money already on bottles of wine and cocktails, not returning in a hurry !

You have a 2 hour slot, so you are not rushed. Staff are attentive but not intrusive, and the food was wonderful and no surprises with the cost. We will definitely be back.

Decor is stunning. Very different and quirky. We had a Saturday morning breakfast which was not far short of superb!! The Dirty Breakfast Sandwich was amazing! Cosy eggs for my wife were perfectly cooked. Of particular note was the attitude and work ethic of the staff on duty. Amazing!! The young lady that served us was very helpful and defnetely made us feel that our custom was apprecisted.

Awful experience, booked weeks ago and were told the Christmas menu was £25 ... then when we pay were told its £30 because the price can vary. 20 minutes late being seated and has to ask to place our order. Awful

Very busy but expected on a Saturday. Arrived early but unfortunately not enough seating in the bar. Our table had lovely views over the busy city centre below. Food arrived fairly quickly and was lovely. Staff were friendly too.

Was not checked upon ,was told to find our own seats which in my opinion shows that they could not be bothered to service us , our cups were on the table for a solid 45 minutes ,table was not cleared ,We were also not...

Came here for breakfast, had the classic and it was lovely. Staff were super friendly. the setting of the place was really nice and a calm environment. Eggs were quite salty but everything else was delicious.

Loved the house burger with cheese. A few of our party were late but we still got accommodated even though they were busy.

A really nice place to pop into and relax. I have had food here once and it was a touch more expensive than I would have liked, but very nice with great service. Last week we dropped in, mid-shop for a cuppa. Nice and relaxed. Although I went on four occasions to eat, on three of them they were full so we only got in the once. Just bear that in mind at peak times.

Busy place but quick service. Excellent gluten free options and knowledge. Full gf breakfast available. Coffee is good too.

Went for a bottomless brunch the drinks were £25 each u only have 90 minutes, found the drinks didn't have much alcohol as I have a brain injury so I would normally not drink much I wasn't drunk at all, i wouldn't waste my money in there again

My friend and I had salmon fishcakes which we couldn't eat as they had a metallic taste to them and the poached egg was over cooked. Very disappointing although we chose it we expected much better We did tell the waiter and we were offered something else but as we were part of a hen party who were moving on we could not take up the offer. The chef said that was how they were meant to taste but I work in catering and I have never tasted a salmon fishcake like that.

Lovely atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff, and absolutely delicious food. The chorizo hash and butchers brunch were both cooked perfectly and full of flavour! We both had a morning cooler to drink, which was so refreshing. I'm looking forward to going back for pancakes!

This place is in such a great location and has a fab atmosphere. The drinks prices are quite spectacular though - three drinks came to £32.40

We had a private event at Cosy club and the staff couldn't have worked harder to make it perfect for us. They were so thoughtful and careful to make sure that all of our delegates had everything that they needed. It was effortless and smooth during the event and people really enjoyed themselves

This place is awesome! The service was exceptional. Our server made sure to come and take our order just before the two for one cocktails stopped at 8pm. She also explained some of the menu to us, ensured we had everything we needed, and looked happy to be there! The food was also incredible 😍 I would 100% recommend this place! 👌

I've kind have avoided Cosy Club until this time, I didn't like the name 😁. Well now I regret it. We went in for breakfast and I have to say, everything was excellent. Great menu choices that are fully marked up with nutrition information. Choosing my gluten free breakfast has never been easier. I will be visiting again.
