I love it there. Had breakfast this morning, the fried bread was delicious. Highly recommend

Friendly cozy cafe and the staff are lovely!

I attend this cafe regularly with a disabled friend in a large wheelchair. All the staff make us both feel very welcome. Making room for the wheelchair and opening doors and the like. The atmosphere is always good and friendly. Oh yes the food is great as well.

This is a lovely cafe. Due to working hours don't get to go as often as would like. Great selection of food and very happy to make changes to a dish if you want. All of the staff are lovely and doesn't matter if you don't go for a while, you always get a familiar welcome when you return. It's always very busy which reflects what a good place it is

Avoid! Ham egg & chips. The ham was on the turn so spat it out, looked & smelt bad, how can they not notice & just serve it?? My tea was mostly milk which I hadn't asked for. I left all of it.

We also pop in here when ever we are in stevenage. The staff are very polite. The place is very clean. The food is great. There are choices of breakfasts on the menu you but we always go off the fixed menu and just order what we want. It is always cooked as you like and it is excellent value for money.

This is a proper cafe, where the menu covers everything from beans on toast, to pie and mash, to pasta and burgers. If you want chips for breakfast (and I do) you can have them.I visit at least once a week for breakfast with work colleagues, and have never been let down. the portion size is great, the quality of the food is excellent, and the price is exactly what it should be. Not expensive, but high enough so you know you are getting decent produce. the Cornish pasties are also excellent for a lunchtime "snack" although the giant steak pasty is a real belly buster. Don't expect frills, but do expect friendly service, good food, and a very reasonable bill at the end of it all.

God I love these places , privately owned not a chain. Where the owners care about quality and service as it is their business. Now this place is your basic cafe, breakfasts, sandwiches, chips, pies and other simple dishes. It’s not Trying to be something it is not , just good basic food at a great price. Plus the good coffee is a really bonus.The owner was a nice guy, chatting to the locals, some of which popped in just to say hi whilst passing by. I had a bacon baguette with some chips and coffee for less than £7. This will now be my first choice in Stevenage for a quick snack.

Very nice staff and good food. Even when my girlfriend and I were being indecisive they were very patient with us. Looking for a jacket spud for lunch, whilst shopping the other week, found this place by accident and glad I did; friendly staff, clean surroundings, no loud music, and the most delicious spud that I'd had in ages ; my friend had cheese omelet and chips and said that that was good too. Will definitely make a bee-line for here next time I am in Stevenage ☺
