Only thing of note, pastry on steak pie was as tough as! Everything else was great.

Waited a while for the food for lunch, but did enjoy the lunch menu selection is a lot better than the nighttime food

I wasn't here for food, I was sitting on the wall near Lidls. I was last in Coast back in February or March this year.

New menu for half portions is excellent food and service always excellent

We were a group of four, we all enjoyed our meals and staff there were friendly and attentive, very happy with our experience at Coat, would recomend a cost there.

A nice place to stop for cocktails and food. Lots of seating and usually busy. Would recommend booking! Pornstar martini was good!

This company operate the fast food outlet at Queen Elizabeth park Arbroath across from the caravan parks. Got coffee yesterday… terrible, got roll and sausage x2 today equally disgusting!

Food looked like been re heated several times. Service was terrible. Never asked at table if required drinks, after main meal took about an hour before empty plates got cleared from table after asking staff to do so. Also no offer for desserts if any one fancied a dessert nothing. Very poor 😢

Ordered gluten free haddock and chips I was expecting the fish to have a gluten free batter on it but it was just steamed fish no batter and hardly any chips I gave it a try but felt sick and had to leave it my wife was physically sick when we left.

I came for lunch with my Mum and daughter on a Saturday afternoon. We had paninis/wraps and the food was lovely, chips are divine. It wasn’t overly busy but the service wasn’t great, despite there being 4 members of staff on.

Last minute booking and they managed to fit us in. The food was delicious, service excellent and atmosphere was lovely and relaxing. I would 100% recommend

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Fab outlay of restaurant and food couldn’t have been better! Ordered chicken fajitas and the hot fudge sundae and both courses were superb! Really affordable and attentive service! Great atmosphere also! Overall a tremendous meal out!

we hopped in for lunch in here on a complete whim, and what luck! the food was gorgeous and the cocktails were somehow even better. we ended up coming in three more times during our holiday and each time the food was piping hot and fresh and the staff always friendly and attentive. great wee place, i recommend the outdoor seating as it was absolutely beautiful!

Been so many times to Coast now and the food is consistently excellent. Occasionally try eating somewhere different but nothing so far to beat Coast. Have tried various items on the menu and all excellent. My only criticism is they have a ‘special’ Mac and cheese in the main menu which is far too heavy with cream for me but have discovered I can get a smaller portion of Mac and cheese and that one is the way I prefer it, just wish they’d add the ‘usual’ Mac and cheese to main menu. Young staff who are always polite and friendly - also some fabulous cocktails. Look out for their special £4 cocktails they serve Friday to Sunday.

Really nice welcome after we had booked by phone. Plenty room at the table we had and the order was taken promptly. Good selection of food and range on the kids menu. Reasonable prices and decent quality served up promptly by the waiting staff.

Found ourselves in Arbroath and hungry, found the coast restaurant without booking was given table without question by friendly staff had excellent meal with first class service. Recommend to anyone who fancies a quiet/family meal

We had a lovely new waitress however the food was awful. Mac and cheese tasted like grease. Chicken in both the Goujons and jack chicken was dry and the brownies tasted like they were stale.

So for International Woman’s day we decided to go out for tea. Coast have a steak night on a Tuesday (handy) so we all went for a fillet steak (.medium rare) My husband made a point of telling the waiter that we expected our steaks to be cooked as asked for. Several minutes later our plates were delivered with 3 absolutely perfectly cooked steaks, with delicious accompaniments. We could fault nothing about the meal even going so far as to say it was the best steak we had tasted for a long time. Service was fabulous also. Would 100% recommend Coast

Excellent meal here last night. Food was outstanding and the service absolutely on point. Attentive, friendly and helpful waiting staff. Hadn’t been here for years but will definitely make it a more regular occurrence! Thanks all!

Left a negative review last time I was in but have to say was there yesterday and food was excellent balmoral chicken was really good cocktails that were going out looked good as well so will definitely be back

A very nice venue, the staff are really friendly and helpful. With A decent variety of choices from the menu. We had the steak and it was cooked just perfectly for us.

Never done a bad review before as believe we all have off days but service shocking tonight. We were seated over a hour before getting mains. Had to ask for plates, cutlery and condiments. Still didn't get so had to fetch myself from bar. Didn't get one of our drinks at all. Food poor. Ended up leaving before dessert. Just not worth it. Also never offered tea or coffee with high tea. Paid £15.95 a head for slice of toast and not great mains.

Went for lunch with my husband atmosphere was good ordered the pate which was okay my husband had the soup which was okay but he couldn't finish it. I had the burger could only manage half it was dry and hard my husband didn't finish his eyes pie said it was okay. When the waitress came to clear the table dh didn't make any reference to the fact that my plate was hardly touched, bad service. To sum up nice place over priced for what was served up.

food was good, drinks service was shocking, nothing to do with COVID, drinks took an age to arrive, i remember coast being 8 deep at the bar before CV, must do better.

I booked a table here Saturday 24th July for 5.30pm for 6. We had a lovely meal, everyone enjoyed what they had, nothing left on the plates at the end except some sticky toffee pudding which my hubby couldn't finish 😁

Read some reviews before eating here. At least they dont advertise as being fresh food because fresh its not! food dry unappetising and bland (Frozen more than likely) Chilli dry, Rice dry, wifes meal wasnt much better.... chips dry, and scampi overcooked dry and hard....

Had a meal last week for the first time since Covid started with my partner and first impressions were good clean, staff friendly, ordered food which didn't take too long, but unfortunately got food poisoning 4 hours later after eating, I contacted restaurant on Saturday and spoke with a lovely female staff member who was very apologetic and said she would take my contact details and pass onto manager to call me on Monday when she was back on shift unfortunately have heard nothing and this is Wednesday would have appreciated a call back to discuss further, at present still not feeling great after bad experience. Don't think I will be back.

Had a take away from coast and it was one of the worst places I have ever eaten from. Food was cold they messed up the order and it was not nice at all.

Went for a Christmas meal (lunch) with our team at work. Had preordered to save time however still waited over an hour to get our food. I got the Turkey meal and it was poor. Turkey was dry and the other items were lacking flavour. Many of my colleagues were also disappointed . The interior was nice but the space was cold. Disappointing I hate writing bad reviews but big improvement needed here.

Large restaurant near to centre in Arbroath. Extensive menu with light lunch menu available. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was of a good quality. Only negative for me was that the temperature was on the cold side.

On holiday for a few days. Visited Arbroath. Found this by accident. Excellent food and service. Eton mess fabulous and really large portion. Wish we stayed nearer.

Mitchell oh Mitchell... what a waiter you are. Very accurate with the order and the service... FANTASTIC! My food was accurate and stunning! That sauce hella spicy. Celebrating in Arbroath for one night only I would definitely spend it here, falsely advertised £3.50 cocktails online and £4 in person so double check before you order! But a night to remember in Arbroath and Mitchell you made sure of it.

Great venue! I manage a charity and we were given the upstairs lounge for free. They let us bring in our own nibbles for a,wee party. Very helpful staff. Thank you so much! We often have meals here too and they are great.

This place was really poor. The salad we got with our sandwiches was the most pathetic excuse for a salad I have had the misfortune of paying for. Could not recommended.

Unfortunately had quite a few issues. Had to send 1 main meal back, another in the party wasnt eaten as so greasy then another member had to send a pudding back as cream had turned and could be smelt and tasted. Although meals replaced no goodwill gesture offered. Considering 8 of us travelled a good 15 miles non of us would recommend
