The Club House in Liverpool

We went for an evening meal on the first day of lockdown easing and it was fantastic. To say the staff were working with a new menu, it was incredibly well managed. Our server Tom was brilliant and nothing was too much for him.The food was top-notch. We shared a board to start which had a nice variety. The pork belly skewer was also very good.Will be returning when the weather is very nice as they have a lovely outdoor area!

Booked a table for outdoors well in advance, we got there are we were taken to one of the tables on their balcony. I couldn’t even sit on the chair as there were still bits of food on it. Asked the girl to clean it, she came and did a very rushed job (as though she couldn’t be bothered). However, all tables and chairs should be cleaned between customers! This clearly wasn’t. I didn’t even want to touch the menus, there were food stains and looked as though they haven’t been cleaned. My poor mum was using her sanitiser to clean the chairs and table. There also was someone else’s dirty tissue stuck in the middle of the slats on the table top, yuck! Then looking around we could see chips on the floor, in various places was disgusting. We ended up walking out and going somewhere else!

Took the mother out for a meal (not that I had a choice - I was told I was paying for the meal before the drinks had even arrived ) Food and drinks were lovely. Our server Brent was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for him - he was polite, attentive and checked in to make sure everything was ok throughout our visit. Thanks Brent! We'll come back again because of you!

First time out since the lockdown was lifted with the family. I have a son with autism. and we were met with Emily who was the hostess. She was superb with my son making him feel at ease so he could have a great day. She was constantly smiling and making my son laugh. He absolutely adored her.She is a credit to your company. Arrived with my friend looking for a table in the beer garden, was told nothing was available even though there were empty seats clearly in view, and they said it was a 45 minute wait and unable to reserve... so we wandered for a about half an hour or so... returned again and asked for a seat, watched the person in front of us welcomed to a table straight away... and when we asked again for the seat was told there was nothing once again. So you can’t book and you aren’t able to get a seat even when you do wait. Where is the logic in this at all! Its just basically pot luck if you arrive at the right time, instead of trying to make space for people who are actually waiting. Shame, looked lovely, but I will not be wasting my time there again.

Visited the club house on 12th April. The service was fantastic. The whole outside area was very well organised with one way systems, sanitiser stations, a host to greet you at the front, and a server in your seating section. The service was very efficient and the staff where very friendly. Special shout out to Vevina Quigley!! As it was the first day out after lockdown we expected it to be chaos, but not at the clubhouse, they had everything under control and we felt really safe!

2021 saw us enter yet another national lockdown, with the rollout of the vaccines hopefully the last ,before the lockdown descended my twin brother Stephen and I headed into town to visit some of the great pubs,cafe's, bars and restaurants our city is justifiably famous for, walking through Liverpool One we dropped into Club House and what a really pleasant time we had.I love the look of The Club House, cosy sums it up best, wonderful decor and furnishings, lots of seating arrangements both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling shopping shopping area,a wonderful place to chill out in. We were here on a Friday afternoon, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of the staff,we gave our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system and then sanitised our hands ,we were allocated a table were we ordered a flat white coffee each, these were served in excellent condition being steaming hot, we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great restaurant we were in.From the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and take great pride in the coffee they serve, it was just so good being in such a lovely restaurant enjoying a quality coffee. On this visit I cannot really comment on the meals as we were here only for coffee's but I have ate here on previous visits and the meals are superb especially the burger options. We moved on after our coffee's and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Club House is easy to locate on Chavassse Park,Liverpool One.Most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area. Till mid February at least all pubs,bars and restaurants are closed in the UK.

We booked a meal for a few of us, when we arrived we were directed to the room on the right of the front desk, there was no atmosphere. Most restautants I have visited recently have had music playing quietly in the background and the tables set nicely with candles. The only noise was coming from a table of drunk rowdy people with a table full of alcohol. The noise out of them was awful and the staff allowed this noise to continue, I would have appreciated them being told to respect other diners. I am all for having a laugh and a good time but it was just too much. The food was awful, we waited a while because we were told the ovens had broken down. Once the food arrived half of it was cold and hard. It had obviously been sat waiting for the other bits to be cooked in the broken ovens. To be fair the manager was helpful and took the food off the bill. I don't like to complain especially in this current climate given that most businesses are struggling to cope but there was nothing positive about this experience. The toilets were unclean and two members of staff both went in the same toilet cubicle... Won't be recommending and won't be visiting again!

I felt a little spontaneous today and decided to take a little trip into my favourite little restaurant, after a warm and pleasant greeting by the staff I was chauffeured to my seat and began to caress the drinks menu with my eyes. I heard a voice at the bar and turned my head to identify the source of the noise. To my immense enjoyment and surprise it was the voice of Nadine. One of the Bar Team who made my last visit a memorable experience. An offer was then put on the table of which I couldn't refuse. Although apprehensive at first after such a bold claim had been issued. Nadine proposed she would make me the best cup of coffee my lips would ever hold the pleasure of tasting. I gratefully accepted her proposal and sat in haste as the smell of freshly ground coffee beans filled the restaurant. The coffee cup was carefully couriered to my table and I began to understand why Nadine could so confidently dish out such an outlandish claim. The moment the edge of the mug touched my lips I was convinced. Thank you Nadine for showing me how a cup of coffee should taste and I will be back to experience your expert coffee making skills again. Thank you, Carl. ☕

Visited the club house and was served by Nadine, she was attentive, helpful and provided us with great recommendations. We had a lovely time, the food and service was great. Not to forget Vevina for proving our doggo with some chicken and treats Thanks for making our afternoon Nadine X

My girlfriend and I spent the evening in the clubhouse, Liverpool. And i would highly recommend this place to anyone. As soon as we walked through the door we felt welcomed. It had a great atmosphere in the restaurant itself, for the atmosphere to be then lifted even more once we got to know our waitress Holly! She went head over heels to make sure we all our needs were met. I’ve never seen someone literally be here there and everywhere. Once again, I stick to my words by saying that I would recommend this place to anyone who wants good food and drinks in the Liverpool city centre!

Me and my partner visited the club house on Saturday 18th at 7.30. It was so Christmassy and the food was lovely. We had the Cheese Fondue which was lovely with all the other nibbles you get also. I had a cocktail (Pornstar) which was also so lovely!! Also a big Thank you to Katie our server who was fantastic and a really good laugh. Will definitely be returning.

Me and a friend came in for dinner, the food was all lovely and tasty with super fast, attentive service and a warm welcoming atmosphere provided by our server Katie and the rest of the Club House Team!

My boyfriend planned a surprise meal here for my birthday in one of the Christmas chalets, and we had nothing but superb service from start to finish. Emily our waitress was an absolute delight and went above and beyond to make this a special night. She surprised me with a fabulous birthday dessert plate which she deserves credit for (calligraphy was on point ). Food was delicious, quick attentive service... could not fault anything! Thank you for a lovely evening!!

We had an afternoon visit in one of the cabins on Tuesday 15th. We had an amazing time with great food, great drinks and exceptional service, the young lady who looked after us was amazing, so friendly & helpful, can’t wait to come back again - thank you

Went the clubhouse Saturday afternoon for food and drinks! Had our own cabin, lovely inside and warm. Great service from Katie from the start to finish. Great food and great drinks. Just what was needed during these times. Thank you clubhouse and thank you Katie

We came here off the cuff after a day of shopping. It was a lovely welcome and although it was busy the staff managed to accommodate us and found us a table. The surroundings were lovely and relaxed and we immediately felt comfortable. Our server, Lauren, couldn’t do enough and was more than happy to give us extra time on more than one occasion to browse the menu. This made us feel at ease and unpressured which was a lovely experience. It was lovely how Lauren catered to our needs ensuring we always had enough drinks and were happy. The food was beautiful alongside the cocktails and we will definitely visit again! (Also great music choice)

My Fiancee and I reserved a lodge here and it was a lovely environment and feel and kept the COVID nonsense to a minimum due to the security of the lodge. Tom, our waiter was absolutely brilliant and had great rapport with his customers. The only downside was that there were a number of menu items that they were out of which was a bit disappointing considering it was a reasonably early booking on a Thursday. That said, I imagine all restaurants are having supplier issues in the current environment. I would certainly go again.

Me and my boyfriend visited tonight and had a lovely meal! The food was lovely and the cocktail! The service was absolutely great! We were served by a girl with a colourful mask with blonde hair I didn’t get her name but she made the experience great! Thank you very much!

This was my second visit to the Clubhouse and I was looking forward to it as my first visit in February 2020 was lovely. Unfortunately myself and my daughter were very disappointed. We both ordered Camembert to start and requested that the Walnut and Honey topping be left off. When the starter arrived the topping was still on and we were told that it couldn't be removed as it was made in advance. I know this isn't the case as the topping was removed on my last visit. I believe that the server just forgot to advise the chef as our order wasn't written down so she had to try to remember the order. My daughters main course was incorrect - it came with chips instead of mash. I also wondered at the strange presentation of mushy peas placed on top of the top but on closer inspection we found that the top of the pie was burnt black and the peas were used to cover this up. We noticed that another customer who had the pie had peas served on the plate not on top of the pie. My fries were cold, undercooked and covered with a sweet chilli dip when I had requested plain fries. We had to chase our drinks as they took so long to arrive and my daughters dessert took ages to arrive, we were on the point of cancelling it. So disappointed, what has happened to this place? Will not be returning.

So disappointed to give the club house 2, and that was at a push only because the chicken kebab was enjoyable and the service was as good as could be given our experience there. We were around 10 minutes late so rang to let them know due to traffic. Lady on the phone was lovely and said it wasn’t a problem. We got shown to our table upstairs which was dirty...in these times there is absolutely no excuse. There was food and liquid on the table. We sat for a while then when we brought it to our server Sam’s attention he cleaned it right away. We ordered drinks, then about 10 minutes later before our drinks arrived, Sam came to take our order. Just before we began, he advised there were about 5 of the 11 starters not available, and around 4 of the mains (all of which one of our party was only interested in). We went to order two of the sharing boards, and despite there only being told there was one item not available on each, they weren’t being served...we asked for a few more minutes whilst we waited for our drinks, and tried multiple other restaurants in Liverpool unfortunately to no avail, so we were stuck here. We ordered any available items and asked for a side of the flatbread with the kebabs...of course this wasn’t available, however appeared to come out with the houmous? Anyway, one of the two Camemberts ordered was cold in the middle with ‘hard’ cheese (by a cooked Camembert standard), half a bowl of chips with one of the kebabs, one kebab cremated, and the sweet chill chips we were advised were salt and pepper chips just had a drizzle of sweet chilli sauce. Two other mains ok. Felt sorry for Sam as he was only relaying the messages about food unavailability so we didn’t blame him at all, and he was a great server considering he was probably dreading coming over to us to keep saying what they didn’t have. We refused to get anymore drinks because we didn’t fancy giving them any extra money. Sad to say an extremely poor experience and we won’t be returning.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch at The Clubhouse. I am a vegetarian so nice to find somewhere that serves vegetarian roast dinners. Our meal was delicious and we had great service from Katie.

Nos detuvimos para almorzar mientras estábamos comprando en Liverpool One.Una cerveza y una hamburguesa (la mía con queso azul) quedaron muy bien con un buen servicio de un camarero atento y muy servicial (lamentablemente no entendí su nombre).Sin embargo, aquí está la cosa, el servicio fue bastante lento, solo el lado correcto de molesto y sobre esa base le di el 4 * pero estuvo cerca.Finalmente, necesitan ajustar un poco sus protocolos COVID, el desinfectante está disponible, la aplicación de seguimiento y localización del NHS es compatible, pero una guía de "permanecer sentado" del anfitrión sería la mejor práctica, al igual que una recepción con personal permanente.

Recientemente visitamos y pedimos algunas bebidas y cafés. El Club House es un ambiente y un ambiente encantador y agradable, pero lamentablemente el servicio lento lo decepcionó. Esperamos casi 20 minutos para 4 bebidas, no estaban ocupados en ese momento y sirvieron a otros antes de nuestra mesa que habían pedido después.

¡Tuvimos una visita encantadora al Liverpool Clubhouse! La comida fue increíble y el camarero Tom fue muy servicial y brindó el mejor servicio posible, es un verdadero crédito para su equipo.

Lo pasamos muy bien en la casa club con Stacey y Emily brindando una hospitalidad fantástica mientras disfrutamos de excelentes bebidas, buena comida y un ambiente agradable.

Lo visitamos durante un viaje de cumpleaños a Liverpool y estábamos ansiosos porque nos encantan los bares Botanist y sabíamos que era un bar relacionado. El lugar en sí es muy agradable como una casa club náutica. La señora de la entrada que mostraba a la gente a sus asientos era muy amable y simpática (no sé su nombre, pero tenía el pelo recogido en un moño). Los camareros eran muy agradables, pero el personal del bar no era genial y estaba demasiado interesado en prepararse una taza de café. No teníamos comida, solo bebidas, pero estábamos sentados en el área del restaurante. Luces un poco brillantes para bebidas tardías y, por lo tanto, no es un gran ambiente. Música un poco por todas partes (supongo que para todos, pero en realidad para ninguno).Tomamos aperol spritz y pornstar martini. Ambos no estaban a la altura, especialmente el martini estrella porno. Lo retiramos porque sabía como un vaso de jugo de piña, lo cual no es correcto. El personal del bar estaba muy a la defensiva pero nos hizo otro que era ligeramente mejor. Piensan que ellos mismos necesitan clases de preparación de cócteles.

Comida encantadora seguida de bebidas al aire libre bajo el sol, todo el personal siguió las reglas de covid 19 y fue muy servicial, un gran saludo al servicio de Tommy con una sonrisa.

Me siento obligado a hacer una reseña en nombre de mi nieto de 16 años que visitó ayer por la noche a su novia como un regalo especial para su cumpleaños, algo para lo que había ahorrado. La reserva se hizo hace más de un mes y ellos también estaban ansiosos.Al llegar, la mesa a la que los llevaron era probablemente la peor en el restaurante, más como una cantina de trabajo.Me acerqué al personal de recepción y le pregunté si no podían ser reubicados arriba, su respuesta fue muy frívola con 'no, todos están reservados', señalé él también y la reserva se hizo hace más de un mes, pero no estaban interesados.Personal grosero y frívolo con comida cara que les hubiera ido mejor si hubieran ido a McDonald's, al menos allí tienes lo que pagas.

Overpriced for quality of products and service. The hostesses are very friendly but it seems as though they prioritise staff and friends over customers. I have been twice since lockdown lifted and both times we have been sat near a group of staff coming in on their days off, who received better service than we did. The waitress spent more time at their table, and their conversations were extremely loud and not appropriate.The drinks are very overpriced and although I understand the issues with the food at the minute, maybe they should print menus without the items they don’t have to save it coming across as if they only have half the menu. Last time we visited they literally had nothing with chicken on the menu, chicken can be sourced if required, so it makes me wonder if everything is brought in premade and not fresh.I feel it is a case of style over substance with this venue, and they definitely need to work on the service side. Lots of long waiting and incorrect orders.

Went to the clubhouse today with my two daughters had a lovely meal our waiter was Tom The food and service were 5 star highly recommended this bar if you looking for somewhere friendly to eat while in Liverpool

Nadine is a PERFECT host. She is amazing and is such a brilliant host. She was really accommodating and so was Alex. I really appreciate their time and Alex was a cracking host.

Went there on tuesday food was ok but outside the artificial grass was dirty and the paving needs a jet wash also the outside of the building needs a clean and palnt the staff are brilliant do like this place just needs TLAC

Came to this restaurant for my friends birthday and it did not disappoint! Great food and atmosphere. Also our waiter, Connor, was great and very attentive! Looking forward to coming back soon!

We visited during August meal offer. The restaurant is very nice, like USA old England style building. The service was good, the food was average and not quite hot enough, but reasonably priced. The drinks are expensive, especially the wine. We will visit again, but do think if needs upgrading a little as looking like if needs repainting. Still recommended but. Versus for Liverpool

Had a fantastic lunch at the Clubhouse today to celebrate my 50th Birthday, the meal was delicious & the staff Stacey our waitress & Amelia who made our complimentary cocktails were both fantastic. Excellent food. Our waitress Stacey did a great job - very efficient and attentive.We were celebrating my wife’s 50th Birthday and given complimentary cocktails mixed by Amelia - this was a lovely touch.Would highly recommend this restaurant for great food and atmosphere.

Came to the clubhouse for a quick drink, met the most amazing member of staff called joe. 100% recommend coming just for him. In the shortest way possible, he is an absolute geezer. Deserves a raise for the quality service that he provides to everyone in the establishment

After calling up on a busy afternoon for a last minute bookinh we were greeted with a lovely staff member called Susan who shown us to our table. A waitress called Emily brought us our drinks and made us feel welcome and comfortable during these difficult times. I would highly recommend coming here soley for the loveliness of Emily.

I was here yesterday with some friends having a catch up, we were served by Katie who had great knowledge of the menu and gave us great recommendations. Food was so good we will definitely returning here again!

We had a table booked for 5 people and where shown to a table where staff had been holding a meeting so had to wait for it to be cleared and cleaned. Waitress taking our order informed is that a lot of things on menu weren't available, not a good start! My sister's chips were cold so she had to ask for more, my cousin took a bite into her chicken salad and ended up with a huge bone in her throat that she could've choked on. The matter wasn't dealt with to our satisfaction although tbey did offer to replace with another meal. I asked for croudites instead of bread but got the bread which was like a rock, not just outside but right the way through. The croudites arrived but they would've been great for desperate Dan. I had to cut them into smaller sizes to use them. The meats on my cold platter were dry as though they had been left out in the open. It was a very windy, wet day and there was a door blowing right next to us which we asked could it be closed. The manager came to look bit said he couldn't lock it as it was a fire door, we didnt want it locked just closed to so it wouldn't blow open and bang constantly! To put the top hat on the experience as the manager walked away he put his hands up in the air in an exasperated fashion, HOW UNPROFESSIONAL!! I'm not in the habit of complaining and have never written a bad review before.

Great food, good price drinks and brilliant customer service. I was unsure how to navigate the online ordering and the server Emily was so helpful. Showed me how to order food and drinks using my phone. Had a really good time with my friends. Made me feel really welcome and safe. Would recommend to everyone.

Had a lovely meal with my son and partner this evening, we couldn’t fault the food. The starters and mains were unreal. My son who is 1 loved his meal as well. The waiter, Connor really couldn’t do enough for us, was so helpful. Will definitely be returning :)

Finally met up with work mates after months (and weeks of EOTHO in our own stores!). Had a fab meal & drinks served quickly by your very friendly team member Katie. She was very attentive & made sure our time here was spot on! She was even professional to the customer next to us who felt the need to moan about waiting 45 minutes for her food - which she hadn’t I’ll just add! Thanks for the great service & lovely food. You all deserve your wine....but Katie deserves it more!! lol

My friend and I were desperate for a perfect margarita and we found exactly what we wanted!! Luke was brilliant!! He made our drinks exactly to our specification, we're so fussy when it comes to our favourite cocktail, then served perfectly!! Thanks again Luke, we'll be back again soon!!!

Visiting on a Sunday for a bit of dinner. We were served by the lovely Connor and Katie and they were absolutely lovely! Couldn’t do enough for us, nothing was too much! Thank you for lovely food and drinks and making us feel safe throughout! Keep up the good work!

Been in a few times before and had great service as always. I went by on Saturday and had a light lunch, Joe was a great waiter who served us promptly and served all of our needs.

Came up to visit Liverpool for the weekend with a friend and dropped in for dinner after a local recommendation on Saturday. Hanging Kebabs were the highlight along with a really friendly waiter, Joe who gave really helpful tips on getting around Liverpool. Glad we dropped in :)

Food was excellent, service was great. Our waiter Connor was fantastic! Really friendly and catered to our every need! Will definitely be returning.

We popped on for a sunday afternoon snack, and we were sat by Katie, who was so friendly and helpful! We were served by connor, who really went the extra mile to check which food was gluten free. They both checked back on us to make sure we were having have nice time. Couldnt recommend enough. Great vibe, great service!

Visited The clubhouse Liverpool one, excellent ambience and range of drinks and food. Connor served us and was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Arrived and was served by a lovely waitress named Charly. Food was great and staff were so helpful. Charly was such a great help absolutely fantastic service!!

Been visiting the club house now plenty of times and always had a great experience. However the one time we visited on the 22nd August we had a fabulous waitress called Charly who topped our night off. She was funny, down to Earth and nothing was to much to ask for. Service was 11/10 and we couldn’t asked for anything better!! Top marks to her. Would highly recommend

Me and my friend came tonight and we’ve never been before, Joe served us and he was lovely. Very accommodating and friendly, he made our experience at The Clubhouse excellent and worked well under the circumstances of having to wear PPE etc. The food was also great!!

Really nice venue with great food and a good sleection of drinks. Cracking service from Joe, would club house again.
