First time order - and hugely impressed, very satisfied customer! Delicious food, all very tasty, well cooked - and hot! Delivered in promised delivery time slot - all items neatly packaged and clearly labelled. Will definitely be ordering again from this first class restaurant.

Tandoori feast could be bigger but great tasting

Before we ordered it said up to 50 minutes, once ordered it said between 1 hour and an hour and 20 and it arrived after an hour and 20, later than we would have been willing to wait if we had known in advance. Food was tepid. Also a dish was missing - the main one that we wanted and were told it would arrive in 20 minutes but actually took 35 minutes-disappointing

Absolutely rank! Dry onion baji pancakes, chicken tikka is not a chicken tikka, just sliced chicken with a slight rub… don’t even want to try the rest, disgusting and I’m done! 30 quid down and a lesson learned!!!!!

My takeaway was on 31/12/23 so very few people dining in at that time so can’t speak to the atmosphere and table service but the food was very good (erring on the less spicy/heat side but plenty of flavour).

Great food. I tried the jail goasht, lemon rice, mixed tandoori grill all were excellent. Great taste and service

Lovely authentic Indian food and always great service. An absolute favourite restaurant for a quiet dinner for two or big family event.

i would like a refund please. the paneer tikka was the worst thing I've had. None of my friends ate and it was so embarassing. We had to throw the whole food away as it was all super sweet for no reason.

Wow. I went to this restaurant solo today. I had a chicken biryani which was unbelievable. This was absolutely delicious. I'm coming back with the wife and son this weekend 100%. Parez the gent I spoke with was super friendly and the restaurant in the evening looked very welcoming and pleasant. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. You will love it !

Honestly, the best Indian food! I have lived in the area a few years and used this placed a number of times. It's always good quality, fair price and absolutely delicious! Don't normally review but felt I had to here as only fair and by far better than any other I have eaten. Definitely recommend!

Fine for a midweek takeaway. Not the tastiest but still ok / good

The food arrived luke warm and the lamb was overcooked. It was a small portion compared to other mixed grills from other restaurants. It also was not at all spicy, which was also disappointing.

Our local! These guys will go out of their way to sort you out with anything you want. Their food is also fresh and flavoursome and never tastes oily which seems to be a rarity in London. They are so so welcoming to us and treat us like old friends every time we order.

Best Indian I’ve tried in London! Should be in the Michelin Guide of recommended restaurants - the food is absolutely banging and the service is spot on! You can tell they’ve been open for 15 years. If you have a tastecard you can get 2 for 1 - cheaper than making it yourself!

A classic Indian with great food, good prices, friendly service. It was super quiet but very pleasant to sit outside on a summer evening. A great neighbourhood option

I rarely order from the same place twice because I like trying new stuff, but I haven't found a chicken bhuna as good as here anywhere else! It's warming, has nice texture, full of onions, well-seasoned (although may not be spicy enough for some) etc. Ordered at least 5 times now and other dishes are also great. Note I am Eastern European so I had no idea what it's supposed to taste like, but I loved it!

They had delivery driver making multiple stops on the way to me and then gave me the wrong food which was meat and I'm a vegtarian. And never issued a refund.

Very friendly staff. The curries taste better than what they look. The colours seem artificial but the taste is good.

Food was really nice but small portions and ordered 2 Naan breads but only got 1

All that needs to be said is that this is a great Indian restaurant. I'll just keep going there.

Poor food. All the dishes were disappointing. The chicken tikka in particular, clearly not from a grill, defied description and was sent back.

Good place but thought the curry flavours were a bit weird, less flavoursome more sweet/sickly. Glad we tried it but will go to our original takeaway.

Food was nice but the heating was off and I was cold the whole time. Asked them to switch it on which they did (air con unit only not radiators) for about 5 mins and kept switching it off again. Save on energy but not likely to get many customers in a cold restaurant. Won’t be going back.

Good food, good service. Monday night very quiet (expexted). English pop music instead of some authentic Asian music, this should never happen.

Food was okay not so hot, could have done without delivery driver having a go at me about the parking in my area. I’m afraid I’m not in charge of the roads or the parking wardens so don’t really see how it’s my fault and thus why the delivery guy is having a rant at me… not needed after I just finished a 12hr work shift myself.

I've been coming here for years and just brought my boyfriend for the first time. We loved the service, food and music. This is the best curry in Wandsworth and we can't wait to come back.

I got my order. Got one wrong thing I did not order I called the restaurant to say I didn’t order one of these meals they said I will send you what you order and still send me the order wrong again when I speak with the person on to say you sent me the wrong order again they said I ordered that then put the phone down on me

Average ..a little pricey nothing to write home about except the quiet location

Honestly one of the world curries I've ever had. I didn't pay attention to the negative reviews on this place but honestly unless you like your balti dessert style - do not go here. Everything on the menu is disgustingly sweet. Saag paneer tasted like sara-lee and the balti's main flavour was sugar. Unsure what's going on with this place but flavour wise - it is abysmal. Side note: It's probably a bloody health hazard for diabetics, so please avoid

Long delivery time but food was good

Food arrived exactly when it said it would and was all piping hot. Generally it was all very tasty, only gripe was the onion bhajis, which were like ones you cook in the oven from an Iceland freezer bag. Otherwise it was all decent and well priced.

The actual place was ok and the service was good but that’s where it ends . The food was edible but not the best as I can see there’s not many choices of Indians in Wandsworth. The Onion Bhaji was gloopy and made me constipated as there was so much flour in it and was a weird texture with the main course being very average with the actual meat being ok but the sauces very generic. A very underwhelming experience in all .

We didn’t smell any food cooking and it was just about warm. Seemed like it had been microwaved and the flavours were not very strong. The drinks are extremely overpriced .

Reasonably priced and the main courses were amazing. I had a couple of friends from India who made some recommendations regarding our order and the staff were very kind to accommodate according to what we wanted.

I've been here before, but shamefully neglected this lovely place. I blame Covid. A wonderful evening with friends and absolutely gorgeous food. One of the company is a vegetarian, so we ordered all vegetarian sides to go with the mains. All wonderful and my chicken shashlik was to die for. We were divided over the kulfi - I love it and theirs is amazing.

I rarely feel compelled to write a review for a restaurant, but The Chutney was truely excellent. The meat was fantastic quality, the sauces were thick and wholesome, and the service was excellent. This was one of the best Indian meals I have had and I will(!!) be back.

Rude delivery man rang the bell and walked back to his car didn't even check if the door opened just dumped it on the door step. We use the chutney a lot and they are normally very nice ring the bell and hand you the bag when you open the door with a smile.

The food tasted good, but it arrived lukewarm. I understand that it gets cold when in travel from the restaurant to the address, but it was nearly cold. I’ve visited the restaurant to dine before and the food is great, will have to do that next time.

Con la mia ragazza per una cena veloce. Acqua del rubinetto a 3.95£, disgustosa. Gli antipasti tutto sommato non erano male, ma comunque si percepiva che i prodotti erano surgelati, come quelli di un fast kebab. Chicken Tikka Masala era come un dessert. Metto una stella perchè ho passato la notte in bagno con forte dolore di stomaco, mi dispiace ma o l'acqua era contaminata oppure dovete rivedere meglio l'igiene in cucina per migliorare.

Ordered the chicken tikka and saag paneer, I found both incredibly sweet, it tasted like they just put spoonfuls of sugar in the curry. If you want spicy authentic Indian food, this is not the place.

A very basic sub standard Indian restaurant,other reviews seem over inflating this place, staff OK but food quality very very poor, but guess the chimney pots around it make if covenant for the Wandsworth massive !!!

Main food was OK. Onion bajis had no taste and looked like they came out of Icelands. Samosa's also bland and not restaurant made. I would probably order from here again if there was nowhere else open. Price was expensive for what we had so overall unimpressed!

The food tasted ok, unfortunately it was all cold by the time it arrived. The restaurant didn’t seem to know where their delivery driver was either, who was very rude when he finally arrived. So many good Indian restaurants in the area, no need to risk another bad experience.

Two words for you: LEMON RICE Utterly delicious, soft flavoursome rice with toasted cashews. I could have eaten two trays! Also had vegetable jalfrezi and korma, which were good value . Friendly service and great value for money....will return! Edit Jan 2022: realistically, the curries are a pretty average, but it’s pretty cheap, so hey ho.

Food delicious. Pumpkin masala has become my households favourite which is great. Will be ordering again and again lol

I had a bad customer experience with this place. We ordered our food and it took a while to come. We didn’t ordered any drinks but asked for water instead. The waitress coughed on our water and he wasn’t feeling well at all. The size of the naan and the food was little, it didn’t fill me up at all. In between my food I asked for water and extra naan, it took them 20mins to provide this and the food was cold at this time. In summary, staff were not friendly, menu heavily overpriced and slow service. I wouldn’t come here again.

Well over an hour late (despite ordering earlier in the evening with an agreed delivery time) - restaurant constantly saying the driver was close, clearly not the case - and promised to call back with an update and didn’t do it. I don’t mind so much if it is late, it’s the disingenuous nature of the restaurant that was highly annoying/frustrating.

Would give 6 stars if I could! Honestly the best tasting Indian I have ever had! My partner and I lived in Wandsworth for years and got takeaway from here every few weeks - it became a Friday tradition! Even though we moved out to Richmond last year we still come back to the Chutney occasionally as we have found nothing even close to comparable. If you've never tried food from here before I would thoroughly recommend. Our personal favourites are the Veg. korma and Veg. Jalfrezi although everything else we have ordered has been great too.

on the whole, the curries i ordered were tasty. the only issue I felt was the chicken pieces in the curry were too big, which I thought would have been more tender if they were smaller and easier to serve.

This might low key be the best Indian restaurant in London, tasty and delicious like you wouldn't believe, I've been ordering takeout about every week and haven't found a single thing yet on their menu to be disliked.
