Some of the best chips ever. Nice staff and great takeaway food. The atmosphere inside is pretty nice. Not much to complain about this place. Would recommend.

A great chippy, excellent food and service.

We just had chicken goujions, chips and onion rings everything awful. Chicken batter hard on outside, soggy on inside. Chips undercooked and like rubber. Onions batter thick and hard. Such a waste of money.

Call in based on a 4.4 Google review. To be fair, that could easily lift to 4.5+ Ordered a fish & chips. Fish was medium sized, chips were super dry, crisp and fried to perfection 😋 I'd say, if fish n chips is your bag, this is certainly one of the best, if not, the best in town 👌

Food has massively went downhill past year. Still have it a few chances. Last week got food and the chips were so undercooked they were horrible,got another last night explained to the girl about last week she said would cook them more and they were even more undercooked and soggy than last week. Fish was awful too. Last time we will be there and will be letting others know about our below par experiences

Never had a bad meal out of it food always fresh.

I wrote a bad review a few weeks ago on information I received from some one else concerning your fish . The information was wrong , I was in on Friday night and ordered two fish they were lovely . Don't go on hearsay

1hr and 35mins for delivery, food chewy when arrived , disappointing

My order was an XL chip and two garlic dips. Firstly the portion size for an XL chip was a disappointment certainly not a generous portion. Secondly the garlic dip was horrid I’ve tasted many garlic dips and this one was a disappointment with a sour taste. The chips came without salt or vinegar but I must say the chips weren’t bad. Photo attached is the full chip portion.

The worst taco chip ever!!! Sat and opened it in the car beside the jet washer in the car park literally 1 min from getting it the mince was cold like fridge cold. Won’t be back!!!

Very good, very nice. What's not to like, you can park outside it, food's good, staff friendly and the place is always immaculate/ spotless.

They are quick service. The food is really good, staff are friendly and helpful and polite. The chip shop is clean and spotless ,there are chairs if you need to sit .Also, they do gluten-free food, which is really good .l love the peppered chip

was in the queue to order and the guy taking orders ignored me to take a phone order, so apparently i should spend my time queueing up whilst someone else can just ring in and skip the queue. its common decency when working fast food to serve the people waiting longest rather than leave them standing there while you answer the phone

Clean place decent grub friendly staff

Been here several times now and the cod super i can thoroughly recommend.

Had food out of here a good few time. The fish is so fresh. The staff are efficient & the place is so clean and tidy.

10 out of 10 for delicious fish supper, piping hot still when I got home.....well worth the 15 mins wait because the counter was pretty busy, like a well oiled machine they put out order after order......

Full marks for this one. Beautiful cod supper and a real decent size portion. Highly recommended.

Been using the chip stop once a fortnight for probably 5 years. It escaped my mind to put in a review. Top class food. Sincerely Great. Generous portions, convenient location with parking. Friendly staff comfortable waiting area with lounge chairs to chill out on. Very clean hygienic shop too. All good from me. 5 stars

Burgers were good, cheesy chip wasn’t great hardly any chips and were undercooked expected better for the price .

I can't give any less than 5 stars! The place is as clean as a whistle, lovely shiny walls and counters☺️. I ordered a fish supper and a portion of scampi...for £17. Pricey enough😟(but maybe I'm out of touch)...my mum and I shared and it was more than enough...and..........it was absolutely delicious! Clean chips, fish and the scampi and tartare sauce were epic! This place is worth the wait!🎉

One or two if the staff members have a bit of a bad attitude but mostly everyone who works there is polite. I would highly recommend their cod strips supper and Korean chips. Lovely mushrooms and onion rings but the batter is a little dense and flavourless. We'll drained food though.

I travel from the Gransha Road every week for my treat. I pass four other chip shops. I think that says it all.

The burger I had was really nice, partner didn't really enjoy his sausage supper but that could be personal preference. Customer service was ok but server who I think was a manager didn't smile once, you could tell on his face he really didn't want to be there which I understand but you can't show it when serving people

One of the few places to offer a full gluten free option including 90% of the sauces. Great staff, fast delivery and prices are fair in this current economy.

Just arrived on the ferry from Birkenhead.....Absolutely incredible fish and chips. The chips tasted like they have been cooked in very clean beef dripping and the Cod most definitely caught by a local fisherman and never seen a block of ice. I've been craving fish and chips like this for years. I'll definitely be back again before leaving the area. Thank you.

Fantastic value and staff very friendly. Order for collection or delivery available and good value meal deals. Card or cash payments and ATM outside the shop.

Rang up for delivery forty minutes later ring back to check on delivery n girl asked yeah what about it had to explain to her it not arrived n she was like what do you want me to do about it attitude still not arrived over was advised it was maybe going out in the next delivery so will wait and see if it arrives So eventually turns up bits missing n ver expensive for what it is I get they are busy but def not be back at all do not wanna ring back to say bits are even missing due to earlier attitude cut losses on this place

Average food very friendly young lady on till only thing I was aware of which I was not happy with was a young man mid teens was not wearing a hat or apron while cooking he grabbed tomato onion etc to cook and then ran his hands on his trousers to dry I'm sure the owner has made enough money to afford even the cheapest apron and utensils other than that food was well cooked I visited,,2, weeks ago

Great fish and chips, however very expensive compared to others in the area.

We were looking to try a new chip place and went to the chip stop based on the reviews. A very disappointing food. Incredibly oily chips and very overcooked thin fish with the cod suppers. They were mainly oily batter. The fish strips were nicer and fuller though. Unfortunately, we won't go back again.

Had the fish and chip supper which was enough for two meals. Chips hand cut and well cooked and even crisper heated in the oven the following night. Fish flavoursome and moist in well cooked batter. Not greasy.

Quite disappointed, have had food from here in the past and it has been great. Tonight's dinner was bottom of the barrel. Greasy chicken, chips barely cooked and chicken goujons not enjoyable and now my wife and I have upset stomach's. Something went very wrong from the last time we used here.

Best fish and chips in Bangor, cod was big portion as were the chips. The place is well run and very efficient dealing with orders, even on a busy Friday evening. Establishment is very clean and follows good covid guidelines.
